1Metabonomics analysis of the urine of rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome based on NMR techniques显示文摘Metabonomics analysis of the urine of rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome has been performed by comparison with those of normal rats based on NMR techniques. The relative contents of formate,creatinine,2-oxoglutarate(2-OG) ,citrate,taurine,trimethylamine-N-oxide(TMAO) ,succinate and hippurate in the urine of the rats with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome have been changed. 2Amplitude-Integrated Electroencephalography Predicts Outcome in Patients with Coma After Acute Brain Injury显示文摘Prognostication of coma patients after brain injury is important, yet challenging. In this study, we evaluated the predictive value of amplitude-integrated electroencephalography(a EEG) for neurological outcomes in coma patients. From January 2013 to January 2016, 128 coma patients after acute brain injury were prospectively enrolled and monitored with a EEG. The 6-month neurological outcome was evaluated using the Cerebral Performance Category Scale. a EEG monitoring commenced at a median of 7.5 days after coma onset. Continuous normal voltage predicted a good 6-month neurological outcome with a sensitivity of 93.6% and specificity of 85.2%. In contrast, continuous extremely low voltage, burst-suppression, or a flat tracing was correlated with poor 6-month neurological outcome with a sensitivity of 76.5% and specificity of 100%. 4Effect of fertilization patterns on the assemblage of weed communities in an upland winter wheat field显示文摘Aims Understanding the response of farmland weed community assembly to fertilization is important for designing better nutrient management strategies in integrated farmland ecological systems.Many studies have focused on weed characteristics,mainly crop–weed competition responses to fertilization or weed communities alone.However,weed community assembly in association with crop growth is poorly understood in the agroecosystems,but is important for the determination of integrated weed management.Biodiversity promotes ecosystem productivity in the grassland,but whether it applies to the agroecosystems is unclear.Based on an 11-year field experiment,the cumulative effects of different fertilization patterns on the floristic composition and species diversity of farmland weed communities along with wheat growth in a winter wheat–soybean rotation were investigated.Methods The field trial included five fertilization patterns with different combinations of N,P and K fertilizers.Species composition and diversity of weed communities,aboveground plant biomass and nutrient accumulation of weeds and winter wheat,light penetration to the ground surface and wheat yield were measured at each plot in 2009 and 2010.Multivariate analysis,regression and analysis of variance were used to analyze the responses of these parameters to the different fertilization treatments.Important Findings Four dominant weeds(Galium aparine L.,Veronica persica Poir.,Vicia sativa L.and Geranium carolinianum L.)accounted for~90%of the total weed density in the 2 years of experimental duration.The residual weed community assembly was influenced primarily by topsoil available nutrients in the order P>N>K.Competition for nutrients and solar radiation between crops and weeds was the main indirect effect of fertilization on the changes in weed community composition and species diversity.The indices of species diversity(species richness,Shannon–Wiener,Pielou and Simpson indices)showed significant linear relationships with wheat yield.The balanced fertilization treatment was more efficient at inhibiting the potential growth of weeds because of solar radiation being intercepted by wheat.These results support the conclusion that wheat yield is favored by balanced fertilization,whereas the weed community is favored by PK fertilization in terms of density and diversity.However,the negative effects on wheat yield may be compromised by simultaneous positive effects of weed communities in the fertilization treatments,for instance,the NP and NK treatments,which are intermediate in terms of increasing wheat production and to a level maintaining a diverse community.Leilei Tang Kaiyuan Wan Chuanpeng Cheng Ruhai Li Daozhong Wang Junfeng Pan Yong Tao Juan Xie Fang Chen 2014Journal of Plant Ecology2014,7,1:6
5Influence of tectonic uplift-erosion on formation pressure显示文摘The formation of abnormally low-pressure hydrocarbon reservoirs in petroliferous basins has a close relationship with tectonic uplift and the consequent erosion. In order to understand abnormally low-pressure reservoirs and to provide a scientific basis for exploration and development, we established, through numerical simulation and theoretical analysis, a set of equations for the formation pressure in a closed system influenced by uplift-erosion, discussed the relationship between the genesis of abnormal pressure and uplift-erosion, and put forward the concept of balance pressure (P b ). The results showed that abnormally high pressure coefficient may form when the current formation pressure was higher than P b , and abnormally low pressure may form when the current formation pressure was lower than P b . In the Santanghu Basin, the current formation pressure of abnormally low pressure reservoirs is lower than P b , so tectonic uplift-erosion leads to the decrease of the pressure coefficient. There is a positive correlation between the pressure drop caused by the decrease of fluid temperature and the rebound of rock porosity and strata erosion. 7Comprehensive Proteomic Profiling of Patients'Tears Identifies Potential Biomarkers for the Traumatic Vegetative State显示文摘The vegetative state is a complex condition with unclear mechanisms and limited diagnostic, prognostic,and therapeutic methods. In this study, we aimed to explore the proteomic profile of tears from patients in a traumatic vegetative state and identify potential diagnostic markers using tears—a body fluid that can be collected noninvasively. Using i TRAQ quantitative proteomic technology, in the discovery phase, tear samples collected from 16 patients in a traumatic vegetative state and 16 normal individuals were analyzed. Among 1080 identified tear proteins, 57 were upregulated and 15 were downregulated in the patients compared to the controls. Bioinformatics analysis revealed that the differentially-expressed proteins were mainly involved in the wound response and immune response signaling pathways. Furthermore, we verified the levels of 7 differentially-expressed proteins in tears from50 traumatic vegetative state patients and 50 normal controls(including the samples used in the discovery phase) using ELISA. The results showed that this 7-protein panel had a high discrimination ability for traumatic vegetative state(area under the curve = 0.999). 11Pressureless crystallization of glass toward scintillating composite with high crystallinity for radiation detection显示文摘The construction of scintillating ceramics is of great technological importance for various fundamental applications, including medical diagnostic, security inspection, resource exploration and particle physics. The chief challenge is the facile and scalable synthesis of scintillating ceramics with the desirable combination of pore-free, reliable mechanical properties and excellent scintillating performance. Here we present a pressureless glass crystallization strategy for the construction of scintillating composite with high crystallinity. The fabricated scintillating composites are featured by small optical turbidity, excellent mechanical properties, and efficient scintillating luminescence with the scintillating light yield of 15,000 pH/MeV and about 2.46 times higher than that of the commercial BGO single crystal. Moreover, the scintillating composite derived radiation detector device is successfully elaborated. The practical application for monitoring gamma ray is demonstrated and the precision of the device is less than that of the tolerable deviation of 30%. 12β-Elemene-loaded polymeric micelles intensify anti-carcinoma efficacy and alleviate side effects显示文摘β-Elemene is a volatile oil used for the treatment of cancer,but poor solubility,low bioavailability,and various adverse reactions limit its application.For amelio rating risks of the venous toxicity ofβ-elemene,intravenously injectable micelle ofβ-elemene was prepared using the thin-film hydration method.The results pointed out the micelles were uniformly spherical with about 20.96±0.1966 nm in average diameter and exhibited high entrapment efficiency(99.02%±0.88%).As revealed by drug release studies in vitro,β-elemene micelles had sustained drug release.Compared with freeβ-elemene,the micelles increased the drug cellular uptake and enhanced the anti-tumor effect in vitro through retarding cell cycle and inducing apoptosis.Meanwhile,the elevated se rum stability o fβ-elemene micelles implied less drug leakage and reduced toxicity.The wound healing and tube formation assay in vitro demonstrated the anti-metastasis and anti-angiogenesis effects ofβ-elemene micelles.Moreover,the pharmacokinetics study showed the AUC and T1/2 ofβ-elemene in micelle group were 1.79 and 1.62 times of that in free fi-elemene group,suggesting the circulation time ofβ-elemene in the blood had been prolonged.In addition,β-elemene micelles showed a favorable antitumor response compared with theβ-elemene solution on C26 colon cance r-bearing mice model.Local irritation study investigated in rabbits indicated that theβ-elemene micelles strikingly mitigated the irritation to the injection sites compared with freeβ-elemene.These results proved that the micelle could be a good candidate as an auspicious drug delivery system ofβ-elemene for the prospective clinical treatment of carcinoma.Qiaoqiao Hu Lan Bai Zejiang Zhu Zhengying Su Peng Bai Minghai Tang Caixia Dou Junfeng Yan Rongsheng Tong Wuyu Zhang Lijuan Chen Lulu Cai 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:2

14Spectroscopic studies of the interaction between methyleneblue and G-quadruplex显示文摘G-rich single-stranded DNA (5′-TTAG-GG-3′) adopted a G-quadruplex structure in buffercontaining potassium ions. The spectroscopic featureand the interaction between methylene blue andG-quadruplex have been investigated by circular di-chroism, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectros-copy. 15Fabrication of Cu/rGO/MoS2 nanohybrid with energetic visible-light response for degradation of rhodamine B显示文摘A novel visible-light-driven Cu/rGO/MoS2(CRM) ternary nanostructure as a photocatalyst with high catalytic activity towards environmental purification using solar energy was successfully synthesized through a facile solvothermal method.It was found that the nanoflower structure of MoS2 increased the number of its exposed edges.Meanwhile rGO as a catalytic substrate played a role of charge-carrier channel to improve the separation of holes and electrons,which originated from the band gap absorption of MoS2.The content of Cu in photocatalyst affected photocatalytic performance obviously.And the optimal 30% Cu/rGO/MoS2 possessed the highest photocatalytic performance,which could be attributed to the improved separation of charges and synergistic effects among Cu,rGO and MoS2.The removal efficiency of Rhodamine B(RhB) over CRM was up to 100% in 5 min.CRM as a photocatalyst maintained good reproducibility and stability during 3 times of the recycle experiments.These results indicate CRM is a promising photocatalyst for degrading organic pollutants in wastewater.Huanjing Liang Peng Hua Yufei Zhou Zhimin Fu Jiaoning Tang Junfeng Niu 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:2
16Removal of toxic metal ions using chitosan coated carbon nanotube composites for supercapacitors显示文摘Environmental pollution and energy crisis are two major global challenges to human beings.Recovering energy from wastewater is considered to be one of the effective approaches to address these two issues synchronously.As the main pollutants in wastewater,toxic heavy metal ions are the potential candidates for energy storage devices with pseudocapacitive behaviors.In this study,toxic metal ions of Cr(VI)and Cu(II)are removed efficiently by chitosan coated oxygen-containing functional carbon nanotubes,and the corresponding equilibrium adsorption capacity is 142.1 and 123.7 mg g^(-1).Followed by carbonization of metal ions-adsorbed adsorbents,Cu-and Cr N-loaded carbon composites can be obtained.Electrochemical measurements show that the supercapacitor electrodes based on Cu-and Cr N-loaded carbon composites have specific capacitance of 144.9 and 114.9 F g^(-1)at2 m V s^(-1),with superior electrochemical properties to pure chitosan coated carbon nanotubes after carbonization.This work demonstrates a new strategy for the resource-utilization of other heavy metal ions for energy devices,and also provides a new way to turn environmental pollutants into clean energy.Pin Hao Xiaoye Ma Junfeng Xie Fengcai Lei Liyi Li Wenqian Zhu Xin Cheng Guanwei Cui Bo Tang 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,7:2
