12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2A distributed scheme developed for eco-hydrological modeling in the upper Heihe River显示文摘Modeling the hydrological processes at catchment scale requires a flexible distributed scheme to represent the catchment topography,river network and vegetation pattern.This study has developed a distributed scheme for eco-hydrological simulation in the upper Heihe River.Based on a 1 km×1 km grid system,the study catchment is divided into 461 sub-catchments,whose main streams form the streamflow pathway.Furthermore,a 1 km grid is represented by a number of topographically similar'hillslope-valley'systems,and the hillslope is the basic unit of the eco-hydrological simulation.This model is tested with a simplified hydrological simulation focusing on soil-water dynamics and streamflow routing.Based on a 12-year simulation from 2001 to 2012,it is found that variability in hydrological behavior is closely associated with climatic and landscape conditions especially vegetation types.The subsurface and groundwater flows dominate the total river runoff.This implies that the soil freezing and thawing process would significantly influence the runoff generation in the upper Heihe basin.Furthermore,the runoff components and water balance characteristics vary among different vegetation types,showing the importance of coupling the vegetation pattern into catchment hydrological simulation.This paper also discusses the model improvement to be done in future study.YANG DaWen GAO Bing JIAO Yang LEI Hui Min ZHANG YanLin YANG HanBo CONG ZhenTao 2015Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,1:20
3Microwave-assisted in situ synthesis of fluorescent gold nanoclusters with BSA/montmorillonite and application on latent fingermark imaging显示文摘A method for in situ preparation of fluorescent gold nanoclusters(Au NCs) with bovine serum albumin/montmorillonite composite powder(Au NC-BSA/MMT) was developed, and the products were used to detect latent fingermarks. In this work, Au NCs were 'grown' both inside and on the surface of BSA/MMT clay using one-step reduction of HAu Cl4 by BSA. The as-prepared Au NC-BSA/MMT nanocomposites emit intensive red fluorescence under the excitation of UV-visible light and show stable chemical features and low toxicity. The obtained fluorescent powders were characterized by UV-visible absorption spectroscopy,fluorescence spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy/high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction to depict their sizes, structural information and optical features. Given their environmentally friendly preparation, simple operation, low cost, efficient UVvisible radiation-dependent photoluminescence and good affinity with finger residues, the in situ synthesized Au NC-BSA/MMT nanocomposite powders were used as an alternative fluorescent developing reagent for developing latent fingermarks deposited on various object surfaces(such as glass, aluminum foil, painted metal, plastic products and weighing papers) for individual identification. As results, the developed fingermarks with clear patterns and satisfactory level-2(minutiae points) and level-3(sweat pores) ridge details were obtained. Notably, treated prints could be excited by red light and emitted near infrared fluorescence, which was beneficial to avoid background interference and reduce the damage caused by UV light. 4Effects of Yishengukang decoction on expression of bone-specific alkaline phosphatase,carboxyterminal propeptide of typeⅠprocollagen,and carboxyterminal cross-linked telepeptide of typeⅠcollagen in malignant tumor patients with bone metastasis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Yishengukang decoction on the expression of the metabolic bone markers, bone-specific alkaline phosphatase(BAP), carboxyterminal propeptide of type Ⅰ procollagen(PICP), and carboxyterminal cross-linked telepeptide of type Ⅰ collagen(ICTP), in cancer patients with bone metastasis.METHODS: Patients(n = 180) were divided into three groups:(a) bone metastasis patients treated with Yishengukang and pamidronate disodium injection(treatment group, n = 60);(b) bone metastasis patients treated with pamidronate disodium injection alone(control group, n = 60);(c) cancer patients without metastatic bone lesion(non-bone metastasis group, n = 60). Serum levels of the metabolic markers BAP, PICP, and ICTP were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay pre- and post-therapy.RESULTS: A significant decrease in serum BAP level was observed in the treatment group compared with the control group. However there were no significant differences in serum levels of PICP and ICTP before or after treatment compared with the control group.CONCLUSION: Yishengukang decoction combined with pamidronate disodium injection reduced serum BAP level to a greater extent that pamidronate disodium injection alone. 7Substantial transition to clean household energy mix in rural China显示文摘The household energy mix has significant impacts on human health and climate,as it contributes greatly to many health-and climate-relevant air pollutants.Compared to the well-established urban energy statistical system,the rural household energy statistical system is incomplete and is often associated with high biases.Via a nationwide investigation,this study revealed high contributions to energy supply from coal and biomass fuels in the rural household energy sector,while electricity comprised∼20%.Stacking(the use of multiple sources of energy)is significant,and the average number of energy types was 2.8 per household.Compared to 2012,the consumption of biomass and coals in 2017 decreased by 45%and 12%,respectively,while the gas consumption amount increased by 204%.Increased gas and decreased coal consumptions were mainly in cooking,while decreased biomass was in both cooking(41%)and heating(59%).The time-sharing fraction of electricity and gases(E&G)for daily cooking grew,reaching 69%in 2017,but for space heating,traditional solid fuels were still dominant,with the national average shared fraction of E&G being only 20%.The non-uniform spatial distribution and the non-linear increase in the fraction of E&G indicated challenges to achieving universal access to modern cooking energy by 2030,particularly in less-developed rural and mountainous areas.In some non-typical heating zones,the increased share of E&G for heating was significant and largely driven by income growth,but in typical heating zones,the time-sharing fraction was<5%and was not significantly increased,except in areas with policy intervention.The intervention policy not only led to dramatic increases in the clean energy fraction for heating but also accelerated the clean cooking transition.Higher income,higher education,younger age,less energy/stove stacking and smaller family size positively impacted the clean energy transition.Guofeng Shen Rui Xiong Yanlin Tian Zhihan Luo Bahabaike Jiangtulu Wenjun Meng Wei Du Jing Meng Yuanchen Chen Bing Xue Bin Wang Yonghong Duan Jia Duo Fenggui Fan Lei Huang Tianzhen Ju Fenggui Liu Shunxin Li Xianli Liu Yungui Li Mu Wang Ying Nan Bo Pan Yanfang Pan Lizhi Wang Eddy Zeng Chao Zhan Yilin Chen Huizhong Shen Hefa Cheng Shu Tao 2022National Science Review2022,9,7:4
8Recent research progress in wettability of colloidal crystals显示文摘The wettability of solid surfaces has attracted extensive interest in both theoretical research and industrial applications. This paper reviews recent research progress in the fabrication and applications of the colloidal crystals with special wettability. 9Effects of Y2O3 on the microstructure and mechanical properties ofspark plasma sintered fine-grained W-Ni-Mn alloy显示文摘Fine-grained W-Ni-Mn-Y_2 O_3 alloys were fabricated by mechanical alloying-assisted spark plasma sintering(SPS), and the effects of Y_2 O_3 content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the alloys were studied. Fine-grained 90 W-6 Ni-4 Mn-Y_2 O_3 alloys with uniform microstructure and excellent properties were prepared by SPS at 1150 ℃. The addition of trace Y_2 O_3 inhibited the sintering densification process and refined the W grain size. The average W grain size decreased from 5.5 μm to 2.1 μm.The fracture mode changed from W grain transgranular fracture and W-W interface fracture to W-W and W-Matrix phase interface fracture. The Rockwell hardness and bending strength of alloys initially increased and then decreased with increasing Y_2 O_3 content. 13Spatio-temporal Variations of Temperature and Precipitation During 1951–2019 in Arid and Semiarid Region, China显示文摘Understanding the spatio-temporal variations of temperature and precipitation in the arid and semiarid region of China(ASRC)is of great significance for promoting regional eco-environmental protection and policy-making.In this study,the annual and seasonal spatio-temporal patterns of change in average temperature and precipitation and their influencing factors in the ASRC were analyzed using the Mann-Kendall test,linear tendency estimation,accumulative anomaly and the Pearson’s correlation coefficient.The results showed that both annual average temperature and average annual precipitation increased in the ASRC during 1951–2019.The temperature rose by about 1.93℃and precipitation increased by about 24 mm.The seasonal average temperature presented a significant increase trend,and the seasonal precipitation was conspicuous ascension in spring and winter.The spatio-temporal patterns of change in temperature and precipitation differed,with the southwest area showing the most obvious variation in each season.Abrupt changes in annual and seasonal average temperature and precipitation occurred mainly around the 1990 s and after 2000,respectively.Atmospheric circulation had an important effect on the trends and abrupt changes in temperature and precipitation.The East Asian summer monsoon had the largest impact on the trend of average annual temperature,as well as on the abrupt changes of annual average temperature and precipitation.Temperature and precipitation changes in the ASRC were influenced by long-term and short-term as well as direct and indirect anthropogenic and natural factors.This study identifies the characteristics of spatio-temporal variations in temperature and precipitation in the ASRC and provides a scientific reference for the formulation of climate change responses.HUANG Yufei LU Chunyan LEI Yifan SU Yue SU Yanlin WANG Zili 2022Chinese Geographical Science2022,32,2:1

16Selective targeted adsorption and inactivation of antibiotic-resistant bacteria by Cr-loaded mixed metal oxides显示文摘Herein we provide a novel high-efficiency nanocomposite for bacterial capture based on mixed metal oxides(MMOs)with deleterious chromium properties.With both the layer structure of layered double hydroxides(LDHs)and the magnetic properties of Fe,MMOs enrich the location of ionic forms on the surface,providing a good carrier for adsorption of the heavy metal Cr(VI).The capacity for adsorption of Cr(VI)by MMOs can be as high as 98.80 mg/g.The prepared Cr(VI)-MMOs achieved extremely expeditious location of gram-negative antibiotic-resistant E.coliNDM-1 by identifying lipid bilayers.Cr-MMOs with a Cr loading of 19.70 mg/g had the best bactericidal effect,and the concentration of E.coliNDM-1 was decreased from~10^(8) to~10^(3) CFU/mL after 30 min of reaction.The binding of nitrogen and phosphorus hydrophilic groups to chromate generated realistic models for density functional theory(DFT)calculations.The specific selectivity of MMOs toward bacterial cells was improved by taking Cr(VI)as a transferable medium,thereby enhancing the antibacterial activity of Cr-MMOs.Under the combined action of chemical and physical reactions,Cr(VI)-MMOs achieved high capacity for inactivation of bacteria.Moreover,the metallic elements ratio in Cr-MMOs remained stable in their initial valence states after inactivation.This guaranteed high removal efficiency for both heavy metals and bacteria,allowing recycling of the adsorbent in practical applications.Yanlin Li Bo Wang Lei Zhu Yixing Yuan Lujun Chen Jun Ma 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,6:0
17High-lying excited states in ^10Be from the ^9Be(^9Be,^10Be)^8Be reaction显示文摘A transfer-reaction experiment of ~9Be(~9Be,^(10)Be)~8Be was performed at a beam energy of 45 Me V.Excited states in ^(10)Be up to 18.80 Me V are produced using missing mass and invariant mass methods.Most of the observed high-lying resonant states,reconstructed from theα+~6He and t+~7Li decay channels,agree with the previously reported results.In addition,two new resonances at 15.6 and 18.8 Me V are identified from the present measurement.The 18.55 Me V state is found to decay into both the t + ~7Lig:s: and t + ~7Li?(0.478 MeV) channels, with a relative branching ratio of 0:93 ± 0:33. 18Regulating nitrogen vacancies within graphitic carbon nitride to boost photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide production显示文摘Introducing nitrogen vacancies is an effective method to improve the catalytic performance of g-C_(3)N_(4)-based photocatalysts,whereas understanding how nitrogen vacancies types affect the catalytic performance remains unclear.Herein,two different types of nitrogen vacancies were successfully introduced into g-C_(3)N_(4)by pyrolysis of melamine under argon and ammonia atmosphere with subsequent HNO3 oxidation.The pyrolysis atmosphere is found to have a significant influence on the introduced nitrogen vacancies type,where tertiary nitrogen groups(N_(3)C)and sp2-hybridized nitrogen atoms(N_(2)C)were the preferred sites for the formation of nitrogen vacancies under ammonia and argon pyrolysis,respectively.Moreover,nitrogen vacancies from N3C are experimentally and theoretically demonstrated to facilitate the narrowed band gap and the improved oxygen absorption capability.As expected,the optimal catalyst exhibits high H_(2)O_(2)yield of 451.8µM,which is 3.8 times higher than the pristine g-C_(3)N_(4)(119.0µM)after 4 h and good stability after10 photocatalytic runs.Yanlin Zhu Xuetao Liu Heng Liu Guangling He Jiamin Xiao Haijiao Xie Yanyan Sun Lei Han 2022SusMat2022,2,5:0
19Transcription factor GLK1 promotes anthocyanin biosynthesis via an MBW complex-dependent pathway in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘Anthocyanins are important natural plant pigments and play diverse roles in plant growth and adaptation.Anthocyanins function as screens to protect photosynthetic tissues from photoinhibition.However,the regulatory mechanisms underlying the biosynthesis and spatial accumulation pattern of anthocyanins remain some unresolved issues.Here,we demonstrate that the GARP-type transcription factor GOLDEN2-LIKE 1(GLK1)functions as a positive factor in anthocyanin accumulation.GLK1 enhances the transcriptional activation activities of MYB75,MYB90,and MYB113 via direct proteinprotein interactions to increase the expression of anthocyanin-specific biosynthetic genes.Anthocyanins accumulate in an acropetal manner in Arabidopsis.We also found that the expression pattern of GLK1 overall mimicked the accumulation pattern of anthocyanin from the base of the main stem to the shoot apex.Based on these findings,we established a working model for the role of GLK1 in anthocyanin accumulation and propose that GLK1mediates the spatial distribution pattern of anthocyanins by affecting the transcriptional activation activities of MYB75,MYB90,and MYB113.Yan Li Wei Lei Zuxu Zhou Yanlin Li Dawei Zhang Honghui Lin 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,6:0
