| 1 | Nanomaterials Applied in Asphalt Modification:A Review显示文摘Nanotechnology has been gradually penetrated into the field of asphalt modification.Seemingly magic effects of nanomaterials have now been brought to improve the performance of asphalt.To demonstrate many of the prospective applications,researchers have conducted a series of positive and effective efforts dealing with the preparation of modified asphalt to demonstrate the mechanism of modification and the resultant improvement in performance.In this review,various nanomaterials used in asphalt modification are initially presented,followed by the methods employed to modify the asphalt with these materials and finally the effects of nanomaterials on the performance of base asphalt are presented and the modification mechanisms are discussed.Based on the current research results,the influence of preparation process parameters on the compatibility of every phase in the modified asphalt and the stability of the modified asphalt system are described.Finally,the development trend of the topic field is projected. | Changqing Fang Ruien Yu Shaolong Liu Yan Li | 2013 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2013,29,7: | 23 |

| 4 | Relaxation oscillations induced by an order gap between exciting frequency and natural frequency显示文摘The main purpose of the paper is to display the relaxation oscillations, known as the bursting phenomena, for the coupled oscillators with periodic excitation with an order gap between the exciting frequency and the natural frequency. For the case when the exciting frequency is much smaller than the natural frequency, different types of bursting oscillations such as fold/fold, Hopf/Hopf bursting oscillations can be observed. By regarding the whole exciting term as a slow-varying parameter on the fact that the exciting term changes on a much smaller time scale, bifurcations sets of the generalized autonomous system is derived, which divide the parameter space into several regions associated with different types of dynamical behaviors. Two cases with typical bifurcation patterns are focused on as examples to explore the dynamical evolution with the variation of the amplitude of the external excitation. Bursting oscillations which alternate between quiescent states (QSs) and repetitive spiking states (SPs) can be obtained, the mechanism of which is presented by introducing the transformed phase portraits overlapping with the bifurcation diagrams of the generalized autonomous system. It is found that not only the forms of QSs and SPs, but also the bifurcations at the transition points between QSs and SPs, may influence the structures of bursting attractors. | 7 | Super-absorbent swellable polymer as grouting material for treatment of karst water inrush显示文摘Grouting is the most commonly used method to control water inrush in underground engineering.Traditional cement-based materials are easy to dilute and hard to coagulate under the influence of large flow and high-velocity water inrush.To address these deficiencies,a new type of polymer grouting material with an excellent expansion ratio was synthesised.The material quickly absorbs water and has an expansion ratio of 1:300.The material is composed of a superabsorbent polymer(SAP),glycerol,and ethanol.The effects of water quality on the expansion ratio and expansion rate of the material were examined,and the best solid–liquid ratio for the slurry was determined by fluidity measurements.A karst specially designed pipeline water inrush test device showed that 800 g of SAP can achieve 0.6 m/s water flow blockage in the smooth pipeline,demonstrating that the ability of the SAP slurry to block water inrush is superior to those of other materials.This study provides a reference for water inrush plugging,and has important implications for the reduction and control of karst pipeline-type water inrush disasters,ensuring the safety of construction sites and preventing loss of life and damage to property. | Shucai Li Chenyang Ma Rentai Liu Mengjun Chen Jia Yan Zhenjun Wang Shaolong Duan Huasheng Zhang | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,5: | 2 |
| 8 | How time-inconsistent preferences influence venture capital exit decisions?A new perspective for grandstanding显示文摘Considering that the assumption of time consistency does not adequately reveal the mechanisms of exit decisions of venture capital(VC),this study proposes two kinds of time-inconsistent preferences(i.e.,time-flow inconsistency and time-point incon-sistency)to advance research in this field.Time-flow inconsistency is in line with the previous time inconsistency literature,while time-point inconsistency is rooted in the VC fund’s finite lifespan.Based on the assumption about the strategies guiding future behaviors,we consider four types of venture capitalists:time-consistent,time-point-inconsistent,naïve,and sophisticated venture capitalists,of which the latter three are time-inconsistent.We derive and compare the exit thresholds of these four types of venture capitalists.The main results include:(1)time-inconsistent preferences acceler-ate the exits of venture capitalists;(2)the closer the VC funds expiry dates are,t`he more likely time-inconsistent venture capitalists are to accelerate their exits;and(3)future selves caused by time-flow inconsistency weaken the effect of time-point inconsist-ency.Our study provides a behavioral explanation for the empirical fact of young VCs’grandstanding. | Yanzhao Li Ju-e Guo Shaolong Sun Yongwu Li | 2022 | Financial Innovation2022,8,1: | 2 |

| 11 | In situ carrier tuning in high temperature superconductor Bi2Sr2CaCu2O(8+δ)by potassium deposition显示文摘We report a successful tuning of the hole doping level over a wide range in high temperature superconductor Bi_2Sr_2CaCu_2O_(8+δ)(Bi2212) through successive in situ potassium(K) deposition. By taking high resolution angleresolved photoemission measurements on the Fermi surface and band structure of an overdoped Bi2212(T_c= 76 K) at different stages of K deposition, we found that the area of the hole-like Fermi surface around the Brillouin zone corner(p,p) shrinks with increasing K deposition. This indicates a continuous hole concentration change from initial 0.26 to eventual 0.09 after extensive K deposition, a net doping level change of 0.17 that makes it possible to bring Bi2212 from being originally overdoped, to optimally-doped, and eventually becoming heavily underdoped. The electronic behaviors with K deposition are consistent with those of Bi2212 samples with different hole doping levels. These results demonstrate that K deposition is an effective way of in situ controlling the hole concentration in Bi2212. | 19 | Study on the electrochemical behavior of Mg and Al ions in LiCl-KCl melt and preparation of Mg-Al alloy显示文摘The electrochemical behavior of Mg^(2+)and Al^(3+)in LiCl-KCl(mass 4:1)melt at 973 K was studied on a Mo electrode systematically by cyclic voltammetry,square wave voltammetry and chronopotentiometry.The results showed that the reductions of Mg^(2+)and Al^(3+)were reversible processes controlled by the rate of the mass transfer.When Mg^(2+)and Al^(3+)coexisted in LiCl-KCl melt,they had no significant effect on the reduction potential of each other.The equilibrium potentials of Mg^(2+)/Mg and Al^(3+)/Al were obtained by open circuit potential method.Their apparent standard potentials were also calculated in this system and the values were-2.52 V vs Cl_(2)/Cl^(−),-1.66 V vs Cl_(2)/Cl^(−),respectively.Correspondingly,the apparent Gibbs free energies of Mg^(2+)/Mg and Al^(3+)/Al were-485.71 kJ/mol^(-1),-480.78 kJ/mol^(-1).Finally,potentiostatic electrolysis was performed on a Mo electrode in LiCl-KCl-MgCl_(2)-AlCl_(3)(the mass ratio of MgCl_(2) to AlCl_(3) was 10:1)melt at different potentials.The components of the deposits were characterized by scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectroscopy.The study revealed that the content of Al in the deposit decreased as the overpotential increased and Al tended to segregate at the grain boundaries. | Shaolong Li Yusi Che Chenyao Li Yongchun Shu Jilin He Bin Yang Jianxun Song | 2022 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,3: | 1 |
