2A dual-pass data assimilation scheme for estimating surface fluxes with FY3A-VIRR land surface temperature显示文摘In this work, a dual-pass data assimilation scheme is developed to improve predictions of surface flux. Pass 1 of the dual-pass data assimilation scheme optimizes the model vegetation parameters at the weekly temporal scale, and Pass 2 optimizes the soil moisture at the daily temporal scale. Based on ensemble Kalman filter(EnKF), the land surface temperature(LST) data derived from the new generation of Chinese meteorology satellite(FY3A-VIRR) are assimilated into common land model(CoLM) for the first time. Six sites, Daman, Guantao, Arou, BJ, Miyun and Jiyuan, are selected for the data assimilation experiments and include different climatological conditions. The results are compared with those from a dataset generated by a multi-scale surface flux observation system that includes an automatic weather station(AWS), eddy covariance(EC) and large aperture scintillometer(LAS). 3GNSS-R data acquisition system design and experiment显示文摘In this paper,the design of a GNSS-R data acquisition system is described,including the antenna,RF(radio frequency)front-end and FPGA(field programmable gate array)based logic circuit for data storage interface.Two RF front-ends are connected with the RHCP(right-hand circular polarization)and LHCP(left-hand circular polarization)antenna to collect the direct and reflected signal separately.Both the specifications and the circuit connections are given in detail.Experiments are performed for statics at the seashore and dynamic scenario in the sea using airplanes.The results of the data analysis show that the proposed data acquisition system is suitable for GNSS-R primitive data collection.YANG DongKai WANG Yan LU Yong LI WeiQiang LI ZiWei 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,33:9
4Wearable skin-like optoelectronic systems with suppression of motion artifacts for cuff-less continuous blood pressure monitor显示文摘According to the statistics of the World Health Organization,an estimated 17.9 million people die from cardiovascular diseases each year,representing 31%of all global deaths.Continuous non-invasive arterial pressure(CNAP)is essential for the management of cardiovascular diseases.However,it is difficult to achieve long-term CNAP monitoring with the daily use of current devices due to irritation of the skin as well as the lack of motion artifacts suppression.Here,we report a high-performance skin-like optoelectronic system integrated with ultra-thin flexible circuits to monitor CNAP.We introduce a theoretical model via the virtual work principle for predicting the precise blood pressure and suppressing motion artifacts,and propose optical difference in the frequency domain for stable optical measurements in terms of skin-like devices.We compare the results with the blood pressure acquired by invasive(intra-arterial)blood pressure monitoring for>1500 min in total on 44 subjects in an intensive care unit.The maximum absolute errors of diastolic and systolic blood pressure were±7/±10 mm Hg,respectively,in immobilized,and±10/±14 mm Hg,respectively,in walking scenarios.These strategies provide advanced blood pressure monitoring techniques,which would directly address an unmet clinical need or daily use for a highly vulnerable population.Haicheng Li Yinji Ma Ziwei Liang Zhouheng Wang Yu Cao Yuan Xu Hua Zhou Bingwei Lu Ying Chen Zhiyuan Han Shisheng Cai Xue Feng 2020National Science Review2020,7,5:7

6A fully automated centrifugal microfluidic system for sample-to-answer viral nucleic acid testing显示文摘The outbreak of virus-induced infectious diseases poses a global public-health challenge.Nucleic acid amplification testing(NAAT)enables early detection of pandemic viruses and plays a vital role in preventing onward transmission.However,the requirement of skilled operators,expensive instrumentation,and biosafety laboratories has hindered the use of NAAT for screening and diagnosis of suspected patients.Here we report development of a fully automated centrifugal microfluidic system with sample-in-answer-out capability for sensitive,specific,and rapid viral nucleic acid testing.The release of nucleic acids and the subsequent reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification(RT-LAMP)were integrated into the reaction units of a microfluidic disc.The whole processing steps such as injection of reagents,fluid actuation by rotation,heating and temperature control,and detection of fluorescence signals were carried out automatically by a customized instrument.We validate the centrifugal microfluidic system using oropharyngeal swab samples spiked with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)armored RNA particles.The estimated limit of detection for armored RNA particles is 2 copies per reaction,the throughput is 21 reactions per disc,and the assay sample-to-answer time is approximately 70 min.This enclosed and automated microfluidic system efficiently avoids viral contamination of aerosol,and can be readily adapted for virus detection outside the diagnostic laboratory.Fei Tian Chao Liu Jinqi Deng Ziwei Han Lu Zhang Qinghua Chen Jiashu Sun 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,10:4
7M3SC:A Generic Dataset for Mixed Multi-Modal(MMM)Sensing and Communication Integration显示文摘The sixth generation(6G)of mobile communication system is witnessing a new paradigm shift,i.e.,integrated sensing-communication system.A comprehensive dataset is a prerequisite for 6G integrated sensing-communication research.This paper develops a novel simulation dataset,named M3SC,for mixed multi-modal(MMM)sensing-communication integration,and the generation framework of the M3SC dataset is further given.To obtain multimodal sensory data in physical space and communication data in electromagnetic space,we utilize Air-Sim and WaveFarer to collect multi-modal sensory data and exploit Wireless InSite to collect communication data.Furthermore,the in-depth integration and precise alignment of AirSim,WaveFarer,andWireless InSite are achieved.The M3SC dataset covers various weather conditions,multiplex frequency bands,and different times of the day.Currently,the M3SC dataset contains 1500 snapshots,including 80 RGB images,160 depth maps,80 LiDAR point clouds,256 sets of mmWave waveforms with 8 radar point clouds,and 72 channel impulse response(CIR)matrices per snapshot,thus totaling 120,000 RGB images,240,000 depth maps,120,000 LiDAR point clouds,384,000 sets of mmWave waveforms with 12,000 radar point clouds,and 108,000 CIR matrices.The data processing result presents the multi-modal sensory information and communication channel statistical properties.Finally,the MMM sensing-communication application,which can be supported by the M3SC dataset,is discussed.Xiang Cheng Ziwei Huang Lu Bai Haotian Zhang Mingran Sun Boxun Liu Sijiang Li Jianan Zhang Minson Lee 2023China Communications2023,20,11:3
8Surface sulfur vacancies enhanced electron transfer over Co-ZnS quantum dots for efficient degradation of plasticizer micropollutants by peroxymonosulfate activation显示文摘Peroxymonosulfate(PMS)activation in heterogeneous processes is a promising water treatment technology.Nevertheless,the high energy consumption and low efficiency during the reaction are ineluctable,due to electron cycling rate limitation.Herein,a new strategy is proposed based on a quantum dots(QDs)/PMS system.Co-ZnS QDs are synthesized by a water phase coprecipitation method.The inequivalent lattice-doping of Co for Zn leads to the generation of surface sulfur vacancies(SVs),which modulates the surface of the catalyst to form an electronic nonequilibrium surface.Astonishingly,the plasticizer micropollutants can be completely degraded within only tens of seconds in the Co-Zn S QDs/PMS system due to this type of surface modulation.The interfacial reaction mechanism is revealed that pollutants tend to be adsorbed on the cobalt metal sites as the electron donors,where the internal electrons of pollutants are captured by the metal species and transferred to the surface SVs.Meanwhile,PMS adsorbed on the SVs is reduced to radicals by capturing electrons,achieving effective electron recovery.Dissolved oxygen(DO)molecules are also easily attracted to catalyst defects and are reduced to O_(2)^(·-),further promoting the degradation of pollutants.Yuting Gu Tingting Gao Fagen Zhang Chao Lu Wenrui Cao Ziwei Fu Chun Hu Lai Lyu 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:2

10Study on the Resistance of Pseudoperonospora cubensis to Cymoxanil显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to clarify the sensitivity and resistance of Pseudoperonospora cubensis to cymoxanil.[Method] A total of 69 strains were collected from 13 major cucumber producing areas in eight provinces and cities of Guangdong, Hubei, Jiangsu, Shandong, Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang from 2012 to 2016, and their sensitivity and resistance to cymoxanil was determined using leaf disc floating method.[Result] The EC50 of cymoxanil to P. cubensis were 0.006 8-0.134 1 μg/mL and the average EC50 was 0.062 4 μg/mL. The sensitivity of P. cubensis to cymoxanil presented a single-peak curve, which was approximately normal distribution, and no strains with decreased sensitivity were found. The average EC50 (0.062 4 μg/mL) could be used as the sensitivity baseline of P. cubensis to cymoxanil. Among the 69 strains, 16 were low-resistance strains, accounting for 23.19% of the total strains;53 were sensitive strains, accounting for 76.81%, which were dominant populations;and no medium-resistance and high resistance strains were found. 13A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. 16A novel clustered SPIO nanoplatform with enhanced magnetic resonance T2 relaxation rate for micro-tumor detection and photothermal synergistic therapy显示文摘Construction of micro tumor sensitive theranostic nanoagents that can increase the accuracy of imaging diagnosis and boost the therapeutic efficacy has been demonstrated for a promising approach for diagnosis and treatment of cancer.Herein,we reported a novel super-paramagnetic iron oxide(SPIO)based nanoplatform that possess significantly enhanced magnetic resonance property and photothermal effect for tumor theranostic purpose.This polyethylene glycol with four phenylboronic acid(PEG-B4)/CNTs@porphyrin(ph)/SPIO(BCPS)nanoplatform was simply prepared via integrated SPIO,ph,and a novel dendrimer with PEG liner and four PBA groups(PEG-B4)on the surface of carbon nanotubes(CNTs).Subsequently,a significant T2 relaxation rate enhanced can be achieved by the reduced accessibility of water to SPIO clustering.Moreover,the synergetic enhanced photothermal from BCPS nanoplatform contributed to better photothermal effect for cancer therapy.Furthermore,the targeting ability to sialic acid overexpressed tumor was further introduced from phenylboronic acid from PEG-B4.We showed that BCPS nanoplatform could not only selectively identify solid tumors and detect micro-sized metastatic tumor(1 mm)in the liver,but also effectively ablate tumors in a xenograft model,thereby achieving a complete cure rate of 100%at low laser dose.Our results highlight the potential of BCPS nanoplatform for accurate micro-tumor diagnosis and effective tumor therapy.Hongwei Lu Yongjing Xu Ruirui Qiao Ziwei Lu Pin Wang Xindan Zhang An Chen Liming Zou Zhongling Wang 2020Nano Research2020,13,8:1
17Swift Assembly of Adaptive Thermocell Arrays for Device‑Level Healable and Energy‑Autonomous Motion Sensors显示文摘The evolution of wearable technology has prompted the need for adaptive,self-healable,and energy-autonomous energy devices.This study innovatively addresses this challenge by introducing an MXene-boosted hydrogel electrolyte,which expedites the assembly process of flexible thermocell(TEC)arrays and thus circumvents the complicated fabrication of typical wearable electronics.Our findings underscore the hydrogel electrolyte’s superior thermoelectrochemical performance under substantial deformations and repeated self-healing cycles.The resulting hydrogel-based TEC yields a maximum power output of 1032.1 nW under theΔT of 20 K when being stretched to 500%for 1000 cycles,corresponding to 80%of its initial state;meanwhile,it sustains 1179.1 nW under theΔT of 20 K even after 60 cuthealing cycles,approximately 92%of its initial state.The as-assembled TEC array exhibits device-level self-healing capability and high adaptability to human body.It is readily applied for touch-based encrypted communication where distinct voltage signals can be converted into alphabet letters;it is also employed as a self-powered sensor to in-situ monitor a variety of body motions for complex human actions.The swift assembly approach,combined with the versatile functionality of the TEC device,paves the way for future advancements in wearable electronics targeting at fitness monitoring and human–machine interfaces.Xin Lu Daibin Xie Kaihua Zhu Shouhao Wei Ziwei Mo Chunyu Du Lirong Liang Guangming Chen Zhuoxin Liu 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,11:1

20Flexible nanocomposite electrodes with optimized hybrid structure for improved low-grade heat harvest via thermocells显示文摘Thermal energy is ubiquitous and constantly generated in nature and society.Thermocells(TECs)represent a promising energyconversion technology that can directly translate thermal energy into electricity with a large thermopower,thus having attracted considerable attention in recent years.Nevertheless,the use of noble platinum electrodes in TECs has substantially limited their widespread applications,as the scarcity of platinum element increases the cost of materials,and its intrinsic rigidity is not conducive to flexible and wearable applications under heat sources with complex surface geometry.Herein,we propose a facile hybridizing route to constructing flexible electrodes with optimized nanostructures.The flexible composite electrode is fabricated by decorating a single-walled carbon nanotube network with conducting polypyrrole nanospheres through controlled electrochemical deposition.With refined interfacial nanostructures,the resultant composite film can facilitate carrier transport/transfer at the electrolyte-electrode interface,and thereby shows superior overall thermoelectrochemical performance to noble platinum electrode.The TEC employing the flexible composite electrodes yields a maximum output power of 2.555μW under the temperature difference of 30 K,and a device comprising 6 TEC units is assembled to efficiently utilize waste heat and human body heat,revealing the high potential of low-grade heat harvesting.Ziwei Mo Jiaqian Zhou Xin Lu Lirong Liang Fusheng Liu Zhuoxin Liu Guangming Chen 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,6:1
