| 1 | Evidence of the Pan-Lake Stage in the Period of 40-28 ka B.P. on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘The Qinghai-Tibet plateau is one of major saline lake regions in China, where saline lakes are widespread and constitute an important object of researches on the palaeoclimatic change in the region. | 2 | Geological Fluid Mapping in the Tongling Area:Implications for the Paleozoic Submarine Hydrothermal System in the Middle-Lower Yangtze Metallogenic Belt,East China显示文摘The Tongling area is one of the 7 ore-cluster areas in the Middle-Lower Yangtze metallogenic belt,East China,and has tectonically undergone a long-term geologic history from the late Paleozoic continental rifting,through the Middle Triassic continent-continent collision to the Jurassic-Cretaceous intracontinental tectono-magmatic activation.The Carboniferous sedimentary-exhalative processes in the area produced widespread massive sulfides with ages of 303-321 Ma,which partly formed massive pyrite-Cu deposits,but mostly provided significant sulfur and metals to the skarn Cu mineralization associated with the Yanshanian felsic intrusions. To understand the Carboniferous submarine hydrothermal system,an area of about 1046 km^2 was chosen to carry out the geological fluid mapping.Associated with massive sulfide formation,footwall sequences 948 m to 1146m thick,composed of the Lower Silurian-Upper Devonian sandstone,siltstone and thin-layered shale,were widely altered.This hydrothermal alteration is interpreted to reflect large- scale hydrothermal fluid flow associated with the late Paleozoic crustal rifting and subsidence.Three hydrothermal alteration types,i.e.,deep-level semiconformable silicification(S_1),fracture-controlled quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration(S_(2-3)),and upper-level sub-discordant quartz-sericite-chlorite alteration(D_3),were developed to form distinct zones in the mapped area.About 50-m thick semiconformable silicification zones are located at~1-km depth below massive sulfides and developed between an impermeable shale caprock(S_1)and the underlying Ordovician unaltered limestone. Comparisons with modern geothermal systems suggest that the alteration zones record a sub-seafloor aquifer with the most productive hydrothermal fluid flow.Fracture-controlled quartz-sericite-pyrite alteration formed transgressive zones,which downward crosscut the semiconformable alteration zones, and upwards grade into sub-discordant alteration zones that enveloped no economic stringer- stockwork zones beneath massive sulfides.This transgressive zone likely marks an upflow path of high- flux fluids from the hydrothermal aquifer.Lateral zonation of the sub-discordant alteration zones and their relationship to overlying massive sulfide lenses suggest lateral flows and diffusive discharging of the hydrothermal fluids in a permeable sandstone sequence.Three large-sized,14 middle-small massive sulfide deposits,and 40 massive sulfide sites have been mapped in detail.They show regional strata- bound characters and two major styles,i.e.,the layered sheet plus strata-bound stringer-style and the mound-style.Associated exhalite and chemical sedimentary rock suites include(1)anhydrite-barite,(2) jasper-chert,(3)Mg-rich mudstone-pyrite shale,(4)barite lens,(5)siderite-Fe-bearing dolomite,and (6)Mn-rich shale-mudstone,which usually comprise three sulfide-exhalite cyclic units in the area. The spatial distribution of these alteration zones(minerals)and associated massive sulfides and exhalites,and regional variation inδ^(34)S of hydrothermal pyrite and inδ^(18)O-δ^(34)C of hanging wall carbonates,suggest three WNW-extending domains of fluid flow,controlled by the basement faults and syn-depositional faults.Each fluid domain appears to have at least two upflow zones,with estimated even spacing of about 5-8 km in the mapped area.The repeated appearance of sulfide-sulfate or sulfide-carbonate rhythmic units in the area suggests episodically venting of fluids through the upflow conduits by breaking the overlying seals of the hydrothermal aquifer. | HOU Zengqian YANG Zhusen MENG Yifeng ZENG Pusheng LI Hongyang XU Wenyi | 2007 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2007,81,5: | 8 |
| 3 | NIR-triggered thermo-responsive biodegradable hydrogel with combination of photothermal and thermodynamic therapy for hypoxic tumor显示文摘Hypoxia is a typical feature of solid tumors,which highly limits the application of the oxygen-dependent therapy.Also,the dense and hyperbaric tumor tissues impede the penetration of nanoparticles into the deep tumor.Thereby,we designed a novel localized injectable hydrogel combining the photothermal therapy(PTT)and the thermodynamic therapy(TDT),which is based on the generation of free radicals even in the absence of oxygen for hypoxic tumor therapy.In our study,gold nanorods(Au NRs)and 2,2-Azobis[2-(2-imidazalin-2-yl)propane]dihydrochlaride(AIPH)were incorporated into the hydrogel networks,which were formed by the copolymerization of hydrophobic N-isopropyl acrylamide(NIPAM)and hydrophilic glycidyl methacrylate modified hyaluronic acid(HAGMA)to fabricate an injectable and near-infrared(NIR)responsive hydrogel.The crosslinked in situ forming hydrogel could not only realize PTT upon the NIR laser irradiation,but also generate free radicals even in hypoxic condition.Meanwhile the shrink of hydrogels upon thermal could accelerate the generation of free radicals to further damage the tumors,achieving the controlled drug release on demand.The designed hydrogel with a sufficient loading capacity,excellent biocompatibility and negligible systemic toxicity could serve as a long-acting implant for NIR-triggered thermo-responsive free radical generation.The in vitro cytotoxicity result and the in vivo antitumor activity illustrated the excellent therapeutic effect of hydrogels even in the absence of oxygen.Therefore,this innovative oxygen-independent platform combining the antitumor effects of PTT and TDT would bring a new insight into hypoxic tumor therapy by the application of alkyl free radical. | Xiaoqi Sun Di Liu Xiaoyu Xu Yifeng Shen Yanjuan Huang Zishan Zeng Meng Xia Chunshun Zhao | 2020 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2020,15,6: | 5 |
| 4 | Targeted chemotherapy for subcutaneous and orthotopic non-small cell lung tumors with cyclic RGD-functionalized and disulfide-crosslinked polymersomal doxorubicin显示文摘Lung cancer, with its high mortality and increasing morbidity, has become one of the most lethal malignancies worldwide. Here, we developed cyclic RGD peptide-directed and disulfide-crosslinked polymersomal doxorubicin (cRGD-PS-Dox) as a targeted chemotherapy for human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Notably, cRGD-PS-Dox exhibited a high Dox loading (15.2 wt.%), small hydrodynamic diameter (96 nm), superb stability, prominent targetability to αvβ3 integrin overexpressing A549 human lung cancer cells, and rapid release of the drug into nuclei, leading to a significantly improved antitumor activity compared with the control groups, i.e., PS-Dox and Lipo-Dox (a liposome injection employed in clinical settings). The pharmacokinetic and biodistribution results for cRGD-PS-Dox revealed similar elimination half-lives but two-fold enhanced tumor accumulation compared with PS-Dox and Lipo-Dox. Intriguingly, cRGD-PS-Dox effectively suppressed the growth of A549 lung tumors in both subcutaneous and orthotopic models with minimal adverse effects at a Dox dose of 12 mg/kg, leading to significant survival benefits compared with PS-Dox and Lipo-Dox. | 6 | Synthesis of nitrogen-doped carbon spheres using the modified Stober method for supercapacitors显示文摘Nitrogen-doped carbon spheres (NCSs) with uniform and regular morphology were facilely prepared by the modified Stober method. Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) was selected as the starting material, which decomposed to provide nitrogen and carbon sources for the synthesis of NCSs. The decomposition product formaldehyde polymerized to form carbon skeleton with resorcinol after carbonization, and the in-situ nitrogen doping was achieved with the decomposed nitrogen source. NCSs were obtained with regular spherical morphology, high specific surface area, and suitable nitrogen doping. | 10 | Transferrin-guided intelligent nanovesicles augment the targetability and potency of clinical PLK1 inhibitor to acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)remains a most lethal hematological malignancy,partly because of its slow development of targeted therapies compared with other cancers.PLK1 inhibitor,volasertib(Vol),is among the few molecular targeted drugs granted breakthrough therapy status for AML;however,its fast clearance and dose-limiting toxicity greatly restrain its clinical benefits.Here,we report that transferrin-guided polymersomes(TPs)markedly augment the targetability,potency and safety of Vol to AML.Vol-loaded TPs(TPVol)with 4%trans-ferrin exhibited best cellular uptake,effective down-regulation of p-PLK1,p-PTEN and p-AKT and superior apoptotic activity to free Vol in MV-4-11 leukemic cells.Intravenous injection of TPVol gave 6-fold higher AUC than free Vol and notable accumulation in AML-residing bone marrow.The efficacy studies in orthotopic MV-4-11 leukemic model demonstrated that TPVol significantly reduced leukemic cell proportions in periphery blood,bone marrow,liver and spleen,effectively enhanced mouse survival rate,and impeded bone loss.This transferrin-guided nano-delivery of molecular targeted drugs appears to be an interesting strategy towards the development of novel treatments for AML. | Yifeng Xia Jingnan An Jiaying Li Wenxing Gu Yifan Zhang Songsong Zhao Cenzhu Zhao Yang Xu Bin Li Zhiyuan Zhong Fenghua Meng | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,3: | 0 |
| 11 | Ecological assessment of lakeshore wetland rehabilitation on eastern route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project显示文摘To evaluate the ecological effects of lakeshore wetland rehabilitation on the eastern route of the Southto-NorthWater Transfer Project,species composition,coverage,height,and biomass of wetland communities at 22 sites of the study area on the shore of Nansi Lake in April and May 2007 were investigated.The wetlands under investigation were divided into platform fields,transition zones,and shallow water zones according to differences in elevations,water levels,and human activities.The species richness index,Shannon-Wiener index,Simpson index,and Pielou Evenness index were adopted to delineate and discuss the ecological effects of lakeshore wetland rehabilitation in 22 quadrates.Results showed that the species richness of the wetland areas after 2 years’rehabilitation amounted to 47 of 24 families,higher than 25 of 20 families in areas without rehabilitation.The biodiversity index and abundance index of rehabilitated areas were also higher than those of platform fields and fish ponds where there was no rehabilitation.In addition,the Shannon-Wiener index,Simpson index,and community evenness index of platform fields in rehabilitated wetland areas were 1.619,0.745,and 0.860,respectively,higher than those of the platform fields before rehabilitating.The results suggested that the constructed lakeshore wetland played an important role in protecting the diversity of species. | Jian ZHANG Fei MENG Yifeng LU Yuming JING Huayong ZHANG Bo ZHANG Chenglu ZHANG | 2008 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2008,2,3: | 0 |
| 12 | Protein trap-engineered metal-organic frameworks for advanced enzyme encapsulation and mimicking显示文摘Immobilizing enzymes within metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)enables enzymes to against extreme environments.However,these MOF shells are just like armors,protective but heavy,which shield the enzymes from threats while locking them in the cage.The exploitation of immobilization strategy and intrinsic property of MOFs themselves is of great significance.Here,we proposed a functional protein trap strategy for efficient enzyme encapsulation.The ferrocenedicarboxylic acid(Fc)was used to induce the formation of defect-rich Co-based MOFs(CoBDC-Fc).As result,the engineered protein trap can not only improve the enzyme loading but also accelerate catalytic efficiency.Specifically,the atomically dispersed Fc sites serve as cocatalysts/cofactors and even change the conformation of enzymes in the construed microenvironment.Furthermore,the obtained CoBDC-Fc/enzyme exhibits excellent recyclability and tolerance to inhospitable conditions.Benefited by these,the CoBDC-Fc/enzyme/antigen composites were further prepared for cascade enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay of prostate-specific antigen with satisfactory sensitivity. | Weiqing Xu Yu Wu Lei Jiao Meng Sha Xiaoli Cai Yating Wen Yifeng Chen Wenling Gu Chengzhou Zhu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,2: | 0 |
