| 1 | Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. | 2 | Role of endogenous hormones,glumes,endosperm and temperature on germination of Leymus chinensis(Poaceae)seeds during development显示文摘Aims Leymus chinensis is an original dominant plant in the Songnen grassland,and it has great value for restoration of severely degraded land.However,seeds are dormant,and low germination percentage is a problem for restoring L.chinensis grassland.The mechanism of seed dormancy is not been well understood.The primary aims of the present study were to investigate the dormancy mechanism of L.chinensis seeds(caryopses)with reference to the role of embryo-covering layers,endogenous hormones and temperature.Methods Changes in concentration of the endogenous hormones GA3,indoleacetic acid(IAA),zeatin riboside(ZR)and abscisic acid(ABA)in L.chinensis seeds fromanthesis to maturity weremeasured by the enzymelinked immunosorbent assay method.Germination at different stages of maturity were tested at 16/28C,5/28C and 5/35C for intact seeds with glumes(control),intact seeds with glumes removed(nakedwhole seeds)and intact seeds with glumes and one-half of the endosperm removed(naked-half seeds).Important Findings Of the four endogenous hormones monitored,only the concentration of ZR differed significantly between the beginning and the end of seed development(increased);the GA3/ABA ratio also did not differ.Rank of germination percentage of control at the three temperature regimens was 5/28C>16/28C>5/35C.Germination percentage of the naked-half seeds reached 100%under the three temperature regimens.We concluded that dormancy of L.chinensis seeds is not mainly controlled by endogenous hormones.Germination temperature,mechanical resistance of glumes and inhibition of endosperm are the main factors controlling dormancy and germination of L.chinensis seeds. | Hongyuan Ma Zhengwei Liang Haitao Wu Lihua Huang Zhichun Wang | 2010 | Journal of Plant Ecology2010,3,4: | 11 |

| 4 | Predictive factors associated with gefitinib response in patients with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC)显示文摘Purpose: A number of different clinical characteristics have been reported to singly correlate with therapeutic activity of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs) in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC). This study aimed to identify predictive factors associated with prognostic benefits of gefitinib.Patients and methods: EGFR gene typing in 33 advanced NSCLC patients received gefitinib(250 mg/day) were analyzed with mutant-enriched PCR assay. Gefitinib response was evaluated with potential predictive factors retrospectively.Results: The overall objective response rate(ORR) and median progression-free survival(PFS) in the 33 patients treated by gefitinib were 45.5% and 3.0(2.0-4.0) months. The ORR and median PFS in EGFR gene mutation patients were significantly higher/longer than those in EGFR gene wild-type patients(P<0.01). Similarly, the ORR and median PFS in non-smoker patients were significantly higher/longer than those in smoker patients(P<0.05, P<0.01, respectively). However, no difference for ORR and median PFS occurred between male and female patients. Logistic multivariate analysis showed that only EGFR mutated gene was significantly associated with the ORR(P<0.01). Both EGFR mutated gene and non-smoker were the major factors that contributed to PFS(P<0.05). | 5 | High-performance asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on Sb/WSe2 heterostructure显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdWs) metal-semiconductor heterostructures with atomically sharp interface and matched work functions have recently attracted great attention due to their unique electronic and optoelectronic properties. Here we report the vapor phase epitaxial growth of large-scale vertical Sb/WSe2 metal-semiconductor vdWs heterostructures with uniform stacking orientation. Compared with the growth on S1O2/S1 substrate, the thick ness of Sb nan osheet on WSe2 can be reduced effectively to mono layer. We con struct Sb-WSe2-Au asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on the Sb/WSe2 heterostructures. Electrical transport measurements indicate that the photodiode show obvious rectifying effect. Optoelectronic characterizations show prominent photoresponse with a high photoresposivity of 364 mA/W, a fast response time of less than 8 ms, a large open-circuit voltage of 0.27 V and a maximum electrical power output of 0.11 nW. | 6 | Regenerative Role of Soil Seed Banks of Different Successional Stages in A Saline-alkaline Grassland in Northeast China显示文摘Soil seed banks can act as a potential seed source for natural revegetation and restoration. However, in a saline-alkaline grassland, it remains unclear how the stages of vegetation succession affect the characteristics of soil seed banks and the potential of soil seed banks of different successional stages for vegetation restoration. In this study, seasonal changes of the soil seed bank, and seed production and dispersal dynamics along degradation successional gradients were investigated in a saline-alkaline grassland in Northeast China, where the dominant grass during the 1960 s, Leymus chinensis was replaced with the secondary successional order of Puccinellia chinampoensis, Chloris virgata, and Suaeda salsa, together with bare patches. It was found that the soil seed bank composition varied according to the changing vegetation and had the highest species richness(7–16) in the climax successional stage, but had a low S?rensen similarity(0.22–0.37) with the aboveground vegetation. There was a high seed density of the soil seed bank(21 062–62 166/m2 in August and December) and also high S?rensen similarity index values(0.47–0.60) in the secondary successional stages of P. chinampoensis, C. virgata, and S. salsa. In bare patches, there were many seeds in the soil seed bank and some seedlings also appeared in the aboveground vegetation, indicating the existence of a persistent soil seed bank. Seed density and species richness differed substantially among the different successional stages, which was related to the reproductive characteristics of the standing plants in vegetation communities. Due to the lack of propagules of perennial species, especially the climax species of L. chinensis, in the soil, the successful restoration of the degraded saline-alkaline grassland was not possible. The study proved that in a degraded saline-alkaline grassland dominated by biennial or annual species, the soil seed bank was important for the revegetation of the current dominant plants, but not for the restoration of the original target species. | 8 | Ultrafast growth of large single crystals of monolayer WS2 and WSe2显示文摘Monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)have attracted considerable attention as atomically thin semiconductors for the ultimate transistor scaling.For practical applications in integrated electronics,large monolayer single crystals are essential for ensuring consistent electronic properties and high device yield.The TMDs available today are generally obtained by mechanical exfoliation or chemical vapor deposition(CVD)growth,but are often of mixed layer thickness,limited single crystal domain size or have very slow growth rate.Scalable and rapid growth of large single crystals of monolayer TMDs requires maximization of lateral growth rate while completely suppressing the vertical growth,which represents a fundamental synthetic challenge and has motivated considerable efforts.Herein we report a modified CVD approach with controllable reverse flow for rapid growth of large domain single crystals of monolayer TMDs.With the use of reverse flow to precisely control the chemical vapor supply in the thermal CVD process,we can effectively prevent undesired nucleation before reaching optimum growth temperature and enable rapid nucleation and growth of monolayer TMD single crystals at a high temperature that is difficult to attain with use of a typical thermal CVD process.We show that monolayer single crystals of 450μm lateral size can be prepared in 10 s,with the highest lateral growth rate up to 45μm/s.Electronic characterization shows that the resulting monolayer WSe2 material exhibits excellent electronic properties with carrier mobility up to 90 cm^2 V^-1 s^-1,comparable to that of the best exfoliated monolayers.Our study provides a robust pathway for rapid growth of high-quality TMD single crystals. | Zhengwei Zhang Peng Chen Xiangdong Yang Yuan Liu Huifang Ma Jia Li Bei Zhao Jun Luo Xidong Duan Xiangfeng Duan | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,4: | 4 |
| 9 | Experimental research into the effect of gas pressure,particle size and nozzle area on initial gas-release energy during gas desorption显示文摘Coal and gas outburst is a violent disaster driven by released energy from gas desorption.The initial expansion energy of released gas(IEERG)is a new method to predict coal and gas outburst.In this paper,an instrument for IEERG measurement was developed.Compared with previous setups,the new one which is equipped with three convergent nozzles and quick-release mechanism gets improved in data acquisition and gas sealing and releasing performance.To comprehensively know the effect of gas pressure,particle size,and nozzle area on IEERG,a series of experiments were carried out with this new setup.The variable control test results indicated that the gas pressure-IEERG curves remain the linear trend and the particle size-IEERG curves maintain the negative exponential trend for nozzle areas at 1.13,2.26,and3.39 mm2,respectively.The increase in nozzle area leads to deceases in value of IEERG and absolute value of slope of fitting curves in each test.In addition,the orthogonal experiment showed that the influence of gas pressure,nozzle area,and particle size on IEERG decreases in turn.Only gas pressure had a marked impact on IEERG.This work offers great importance in improving the accuracy of prediction of coal and gas outburst. | Weitao Hou Hanpeng Wang Liang Yuan Wei Wang Yang Xue Zhengwei Ma | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,2: | 4 |
| 10 | A novel sprayable thermosensitive hydrogel coupled with zinc modified metformin promotes the healing of skin wound显示文摘A novel sprayable adhesive is established(ZnMet-PF127)by the combination of a thermosensitive hydrogel(Pluronic F127,PF127)and a coordination complex of zinc and metformin(ZnMet).Here we demonstrate that ZnMet-PF127 potently promotes the healing of traumatic skin defect and burn skin injury by promoting cell proliferation,angiogenesis,collagen formation.Furthermore,we find that ZnMet could inhibit reactive oxygen species(ROS)production through activation of autophagy,thereby protecting cell from oxidative stress induced damage and promoting healing of skin wound.ZnMet complex exerts better effects on promoting skin wound healing than ZnCl2 or metformin alone.ZnMet complex also displays excellent antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus or Escherichia coli,which could reduce the incidence of skin wound infections.Collectively,we demonstrate that sprayable PF127 could be used as a new drug delivery system for treatment of skin injury.The advantages of this sprayable system are obvious:(1)It is convenient to use;(2)The hydrogel can cover irregular skin defect sites evenly in a liquid state.In combination with this system,we establish a novel sprayable adhesive(ZnMet-PF127)and demonstrate that it is a potential clinical treatment for traumatic skin defect and burn skin injury. | Zhengwei Liu Wanze Tang Jiayi Liu Yingying Han Qinnan Yan Yuechao Dong Xiaomei Liu Dazhi Yang Guixing Ma Huiling Cao | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,2: | 3 |

| 12 | The interactions between Chinese local corn and WTI crude oil prices:an empirical analysis显示文摘This paper investigates the relationship between China’s fuel ethanol promotion plan and food security based on the interactions between the crude oil market, the fuel ethanol market and the grain market. Based on the US West Texas Intermediate(WTI) crude oil spot price and Chinese corn prices from January 2008 to May 2018, this paper applies Granger causality testing and a generalized impulse response function to explore the relationship between world crude oil prices and Chinese corn prices. The results show that crude oil prices are not the Granger cause of China’s corn prices, but changes in world crude oil prices will have a long-term positive impact on Chinese corn prices. Therefore, the Chinese government should pay attention to changes in crude oil prices when promoting fuel ethanol. | 13 | Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V. | 14 | Direct van der Waals epitaxial growth of 1D/2D Sb2Se3/WS2 mixed-dimensional p-n heterojunctions显示文摘The mixed-dimensional integration of two-dimensional (2D) materials with non-2D materials can give rise to prominent advances in performance or function.To date,the mixed-dimensional one-dimensional (1D)/2D heterostructures have been fabricated using various physical assembly approaches.However,direct epitaxial growth method which has notable advantages in preparing large-scale products and obtaining perfect interfaces is rarely investigated.Herein,we demonstrate for the first time the direct synthesis of the 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures by sequential vapor-phase growth of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers.X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern and Raman spectrum confirm the composition of the Sb2Se3/NS2 heterostructures.Transmission electron microscope (TEM) measurement demonstrates high quality of the heterostructures.Electrical transport characterization reveals that Sb2Se3 nanowire exhibits p-type characteristic and that WS2 monolayer exhibits n-type behavior,and that the p-n diode from 1D/2D mixed-dimensional Sb2Se3/WS2 heterostructure possesses obvious current rectification behavior.Optoelectronic measurements of the heterostructures show apparent photovoltaic response with an open-circuit voltage of 0.19 V,photoresponsivity of 1.51 A/W (Vds =5 V) and fast response time of less than 8 ms.The van der Waals epitaxial growth mode of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers is verified by stripping the Sb2Se3 nanowire from the heterostructures using tape.Together,the direct van der Waals epitaxy opens a facile pathway to 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures for functional electronic and optoelectronic devices. | Guangzhuang Sun Bo Li Jia Li Zhengwei Zhang Huifang Ma Peng Chen Bei Zhao Ruixia Wu Weiqi Dang Xiangdong Yang Xuwan Tang Chen Dai Ziwei Huang Yuan Liu Xidong Duan Xiangfeng Duan | 2019 | Nano Research2019,12,5: | 2 |
| 15 | Evidence for a Dirac nodal-line semimetal in SrAs_3显示文摘Dirac nodal-line semimetals with the linear bands crossing along a line or loop, represent a new topological state of matter. Here, by carrying out magnetotransport measurements and performing first-principle calculations, we demonstrate that such a state has been realized in high-quality single crystals of SrAs_3.We obtain the nontrivial ∏ Berry phase by analysing the Shubnikov-de Haas quantum oscillations.
