| 1 | Climate changes in East China since the Late-glacial inferred from high-resolution mountain peat humification records显示文摘High-resolution peat humification records were obtained from Dajiuhu of the Shennongjia Mountains and Qianmutian of the Tianmu Mountains to study climate changes in East China.The analyses of pollen,organic matters,TOC,and Rb/Sr indicate a high degree of peat humification and thus strong decomposition of organic matter when climate was dry.Conversely,when climate was humid,the degree of humification is low because peat was preserved in a waterlogged condition.Peat humification from Dajiuhu occurred not only during the Younger Dryas(about 11.4-12.6 cal ka BP),the Blling-Allerd Warm Period(12.6-15.2 cal ka BP),and the Oldest Dryas(about 15.2-16.0 cal ka BP),but also during the early Holocene(about 11.4-9.4 cal ka BP),the 8.2 cal ka BP cold event,and the Holocene Optimum(about 7.0-4.2 cal ka BP).Both peat humification records since nearly 5 ka BP are consistent,showing that mountain peatland has synchronous responses to the East Asia monsoon-induced precipitation.The LOI data confirm the above observation.The monsoon precipitation since nearly 5 ka BP recorded in these two peat profiles can be divided into three phases.During 4.9-3.5 ka BP,precipitation amount was high but fluctuated greatly.During 3.5-0.9 ka BP,precipitation amount was low.During 0.9-0 ka BP,degree of humification reduced gradually,indicating the increase of monsoon precipitation.Contrast to other high-resolution records from East China monsoon region shows that the monsoon precipitation records of the two peat profiles since nearly 16 ka BP are controlled by a common forcing mechanism of summer solar radicalization in the Northern Hemisphere. | MA ChunMei ZHU Cheng ZHENG ChaoGui YIN Qian ZHAO ZhiPing | 2009 | Science China Earth Sciences2009,52,1: | 22 |
| 2 | Effects of antisense CENP-B on the proliferation of HeLa (Tet-off) cells显示文摘In order to study the change of the expression of centromere protein B (CENP-B) caused by antisense transfection, proto-eukaryotically expressed fused protein GST-CENP-B (65 ku) was injected into mouse, and a peculiar anti-CENP-B serum MaCenpB was collected. A strain of transfected HeLa Tet-off cell HaCb, which contains antisense CENP-B expressing vector pBI-EGFP-as-CenpB, was prepared. Northern blot and Western blot were used to analyze the repression of internal CENP-B in transfected cells. According to the growth curve, the proliferation of HeLa (Tet-off) is repressed by antisense CENP-B, and the multiplication time is prolonged for 32.81 h. The analysis of flow cytometry revealed that, compared with HeLa (Tet-off), the G1 cell population of HaCb is increased (AG1=9%) while S fraction is decreased (AS=11%), but the G2/M phase is nearly unchanged (AG2/M=3%). | 3 | Animal diversities and characteristics of environmental change revealed by skeletons unearthed at Zhongba Site of Chongqing City,China显示文摘Nearly 200000 animal skeletons are unearthed in the Unit T0202 from Zhongba Site of Zhongxian County.According to the analysis of 129165 specimens,these skeletons may be classified into 5 kinds, namely,Mammalia,Osteichthys,Aves,Amphibian and Reptilia,which belong to 13 orders,28 families and 42 genera.In this paper,based on archeological dating and AMS 14 C data,through statistically analyzing the unearthed skeletons and studying the change of the smallest individual numbers,these research results detected the following:1)In almost all the time of 2370―200 BC,in Zhongba region, some animals distributed widely,such as Muntiacus sp,Elaphodus cephalophus and Muntiacus sp. inhabiting in glade and grassland,Scrofa sp.and Canis familiaris raised by the ancient people,rodentia rabbit and Rattus rattus,which suggested that a fairly good ecological environment of forest and grassland was preserved at that period and the predecessors began to raise domestic animals from 1750 to 1000 BC,which has lasted until today.2)Rhinoceros only lived during 2000―1750 BC,1000― 700 BC and 700―500 BC,which indicates that the ecological environment of grassland and wetland might be better in these phases.3)Macaca sp.and Ursus arctos appeared only after 1750―1000 BC, which may show that the forest condition is better for animals to live during 1750―200 BC.4)The smallest individual numbers of Bublus sp.,bos sp.and otters emerged during about 2370―1750 BC, which perhaps infers that water area during the early period was wider than that of the late period.5) Since skeletons of rhinoceros are discovered in strata of Zhongba Site during 2000―1750 BC and 1000―500 BC,according to the climate and ecology environment which rhinoceros live in now,the average annual temperature and precipitation during 2000―1750 BC and 1000―500 BC are supposed to be probably higher than that of today.Although Zhu Kezhen considered that the first low temperature period in the past 5000 years of China was between 1100 BC and 850 BC,massive pollen of Morus, Ulmus,Fagus,Quercus,Castanea,etc.were found in Dajiuhu peat at that time,which should indicate that the climate was still moderate for living things to live at least in Dajiuhu basin and Zhongba Site.6) Because skeletons of Gervus albirostris were unearthed during 310―200 BC at Zhongba Site,based onthe climate and the ecological environment those animals live in now,the average annual temperature and the average annual precipitation in Zhongba area between 310 BC and 200 BC should be lower than those of today,which is confirmed by the TOC research of Zhongba Site strata. | ZHU Cheng MA ChunMei OUYANG Jie LI ZhongXuan YIN Qian SUN ZhiBin HUANG YunPing R.K.FLAD LI Lan LI YuMei | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,S1: | 4 |
| 4 | Reconstructing past subsistence patterns on Zhongba Site using stable carbon and oxygen isotopes of fossil tooth enamel显示文摘The oxygen and carbon isotopic ratios in human and animal tooth enamel were measured to reconstruct the subsistence patterns on Zhongba Site between 2400 and 4200 aBP.The results indicate that human consumed chiefly C4 resources,such as millet,and the C3 plants,such as rice and wheat,constituted only a small fraction of the human diets,normally no more than 15%.There are significant differences in food sources between human and pig,and the percentages of C3 plants in pig diets were higher than those in human diets.But theδ13C values of pig partially overlap those of human,demonstrating some similarities in their food sources.The differences in water sources between human and pig are significant.There are significant differences in food and water sources between cattle and deer. | 7 | Application of Human Adenovirus Genotyping by Phylogenetic Analysis in an Outbreak to Identify Nosocomial Infection显示文摘Nosocomial infections are common in pediatric patients and can be fatal in infants and immunocompromised patients. In September 2018, a high positive rate of human adenovirus HAdV was occurred among hospitalized children in the Children's Hospital Affiliated to the Capital Institute of Paediatrics in Beijing. To investigate whether this outbreak of HAdV was related to nosocomial infections or the result of community infections, we collected respiratory specimens from patients with acute respiratory infections in a respiratory ward during June to December 2018, and screened for respiratory viruses. Among 1,840 cases included, 95(5.2%, 95/1840) were positive for HAdV and 81 were genotyped based on phylogenetic analysis, including seven as HAdV-1(8.6%), 30 HAdV-3(37.0%), two HAdV-6(2.5%), and 42 HAdV-7(51.9%). More HAdV-positive samples were collected in August(4.7%, 12/255), September(15.0%, 41/274) and October(6.9%, 17/247), with a peak in September 2018. By combining the results of HAdV phylogenetic analysis with clinical data of patients, there were 77 cases(4.2%, 77/1840;81.1%, 77/95) excluded from nosocomial infections, eight cases representing possible infections transmitted by visitors or attending parents, three cases without sequences that might have been due to infection transmitted by roommates positive for HAdV, one case of a roommate without an HAdV sequence, and six cases that shared highly homologous sequences with those of their roommates, for which nosocomial infections might be considered. | 11 | Molecular genetic analysis of phosphomannomutase genes in Triticum monococcum显示文摘In higher plants, phosphomannomutase(PMM) is essential for synthesizing the antioxidant ascorbic acid through the Smirnoff–Wheeler pathway. Previously, we characterized six PMM genes(Ta PMM-A1, A2, B1, B2, D1 and D2) in common wheat(Triticum aestivum, AABBDD).Here, we report a molecular genetic analysis of PMM genes in Triticum monococcum(AmAm), a diploid wheat species whose Amgenome is closely related to the A genome of common wheat. Two distinct PMM genes, Tm PMM-1 and Tm PMM-2, were found in T. monococcum. The coding region of Tm PMM-1 was intact and highly conserved. In contrast, two main Tm PMM-2 alleles were identified, with Tm PMM-2a possessing an intact coding sequence and Tm PMM-2b being a pseudogene. The transcript level of Tm PMM-2a was much higher than that of Tm PMM-2b, and a bacterially expressed Tm PMM-2a recombinant protein displayed relatively high PMM activity. In general, the total transcript level of PMM was substantially higher in accessions carrying Tm PMM-1 and Tm PMM-2a than those harboring Tm PMM-1 and Tm PMM-2b. However, total PMM protein and activity levels did not differ drastically between the two genotypes. | 17 | Experimental Study on Inert Gas-assisted Laser Cut Veneer Based on LOM显示文摘Based on the LOM(Laminated Object Manufacturing)process,an inert gas-assisted laser method for wood cutting was proposed.The carbonization degree of wood surface was improved by the introduction of helium(He)gas,and the influence of process parameters on the carbonization layer of wood surface was solved,it was significance to reduce the post-processing of LOM and improve the quality of forming workpiece.The cherry wood veneer was used as the experimental material,under the condition of the same process parameters,the wood was cut with or without inert gas-assisted,and the influence factors of kerf quality were studied by variance analysis.The results showed that under the same condition,compared with traditional laser processing,the kerf width was obviously reduced in the inert gas-assisted cutting.Because the He gas had oxygen-isolation and flame retardant effect,which prevented heat accumulation and conduction.The micro morphology of the kerf surface showed that the flatness was better in the inert gas-assisted cutting.As the excess heat was blown out by the cooling and purging of the gas,the phenomenon of oxidation and burning was reduced,the range of HAZ(heat affected zone)was reduced,and the carbonization phenomenon was obviously improved.The surface quality of kerf was improved effectively.According to the analysis of variance,in addition to the effect of laser power,cutting speed and inert gas flow on the cutting width,the interaction between inert gas flow and laser power,laser power and cutting speed were also the main factors which affected the cutting width.The feasibility of the combined inert gas and laser processing to improve wood cutting quality has been verified through experimental research,which provided a certain reference for the followup research on improving the wood processing quality. | Qingwei Liu Chunmei Yang Qian Miao Yifan Liu Jiuqing Liu Wenji Yu | 2020 | Journal of Renewable Materials2020,8,12: | 0 |

| 19 | Identification and profile of phenolamides with anthracnose resistance potential in tea(Camellia sinensis)显示文摘Tea anthracnose is a prevalent disease in China that can lead to reduced tea production and lower quality,yet there is currently a lack of effective means for controlling this disease.In this study,we identified 46 phenolamides(including 27 isomers)in different tissues and organs of tea plants based on a developed workflow,and the secondary mass spectra of all these compounds have been documented.It was revealed that tea plants predominantly accumulate protonated aliphatic phenolamides,rather than aromatic phenolamides.The profile of phenolamides indicate that their buildup in tea plants is specific to certain tissues and acyl-acceptors,and this distribution is associated with the extent of phenolamide acyl-modification.Additionally,it was observed that N-Feruloylputrescine(Fer-Put,a type of phenolamides)was responsive to the stimulated accumulation of the tea anthracnose pathogen.The findings of anti-anthracnose experiments in vitro and on tea leaf demonstrated that Fer-Put was capable of significantly inhibiting the growth of anthracnose pathogen colony,effectively prevented tea leaf disease.Furthermore,it was observed that Fer-Put treatment can enhance the antioxidant enzyme activity of tea leaves.TEA002780.1 and TEA013165.1 gene may be responsible for the biosynthesis of Fer-Put in the disease resistance process in tea plants.Through these studies,the types and distribution of phenolamides in tea plants have been elucidated,and Fer-Put’s ability to resist anthracnose has been established,providing new insights into the resistance of tea anthracnose. | Wenzhao Wang Xingcui Xie Yuanyuan Lv Haonan Guan Lu Liu Qian Huang Yumeng Bao Jie Zhou Lu Bao Chunmei Gong Youben Yu | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,9: | 0 |
