1Global correlation for strontium isotope curve in the Late Cretaceous of Tibet and dating marine sediments显示文摘87Sr/86Sr ratios of marine carbonate samples collected from a sedimentary section of the Late Cretaceous in the south of Tibet were measured. Based on the absence of cathodoluminescence and a very low Mn/Sr ratio (average 0.06) of the samples, it is thought that they contain information on the original seawater strontium isotope composition. The strontium isotope evolution curve of the Late Cretaceous in Tibet we established here, is consistent with other coeval curves from Europe, North America and Antarctica, supports the notion that the strontium isotope composition of seawater is governed by global events, which provides a new approach for the inter-continental and inter-basinal correlations of Late Cretaceous in the area and is a complementarity for biostratigraphy. In addition, we attempt to determine the age of the boundaries for Campanian/Santonian and Maastrichtian/Campanian by 87Sr/86Sr ratios for Gamba section in southern Tibet. 2High-Resolution Genome-wide Association Study Identifies Genomic Regions and Candidate Genes for Important Agronomic Traits in Wheat显示文摘Wheat(Triticum aestivum)is a major staple food crop worldwide.Genetic dissection of important agronomic traits is essential for continuous improvement of wheat yield to meet the demand of the world's growing population.We conducted a large-scale genome-wide association study(GWAS)using a panel of 768 wheat cultivars that were genotyped with 327609 single-nucleotide polymorphisms generated by genotyping-by-sequencing and detected 395 quantitative trait loci(QTLs)for 12 traits under 7 environments.Among them,273 QTLs were delimited to≤1.0-Mb intervals and 7 of them are either known genes(Rht-D,Vrn-B1,and Vrn-D1)that have been cloned or known QTLs(TaGA2ox8,APO1,TaSus1-7B,and Rht12)that were previously mapped.Eight putative candidate genes were identified for three QTLs that enhance spike seed setting and grain size using gene expression data and were validated in three bi-parental populations.Protein sequence analysis identified 33 putative wheat orthologs that have high identity with rice genes in QTLs affecting similar traits.Large r^2 values for additive effects observed among the QTLs for most traits indicated that the phenotypes of these identified QTLs were highly predictable.Results from this study demonstrated that significantly increasing GWAS population size and marker density greatly improves detection and identification of candidate genes underlying a QTL,solidifying the foundation for large-scale QTL fine mapping,candidate gene validation,and developing functional markers for genomics-based breeding in wheat.Yunlong Pang Chunxia Liu Danfeng Wang Paul St.Amand Amy Bernardo Wenhui Li Fang He Linzhi Li Liming Wang Xiufang Yuan Lei Dong Yu Su Huirui Zhang Meng Zhao Yunlong Liangi Hongze Jia Xitong Shen Yue Lu Hongming Jiang Yuye Wu Anfei Li Honggang Wang Lingrang Kong Guihua Bai Shubing Liu 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,9:8

4Isotopic composition charac-teristics and identification of immature and low-mature oils显示文摘Isotopic composition characteristics and the significance of immature and low-mature oils are first systematically discussed. The carbon isotopes of the whole oil can be divided into two groups, one has δ13C main peak values ranging from -30‰ to -29 and the other from -27‰ to -25‰, they are related to lacustrine and salt-lake facies or swamp facies, respectively. The carbon isotopic fractionation among different group components is relatively small, usually less than 2‰ and the biggest difference in fractionation often occurs between saturated and aromatic fractions. Their δD values vary between -180‰ and -130‰. The main peak of their δD values concentrates between -170‰ and -150‰, suggesting a domination of lacustrine facies. However, the secondary peak ranges from -160‰ to -150‰, showing a frequent salinization of paleo-water bodies. The average δ13C values of the methane vary between -50‰ and -52‰, about 10‰ lighter than those of mature oils. 6A breakthrough of researching reservoir adsorption gas and its significance显示文摘GC-C-MS on linear isotope analysis equipment makes it possible to measure the hydrocarbon gases at the level of 10 -3-10 -2 μL- By applying this technique the carbon isotopes of C1-C3 of the adsorbed gas from the Triassic oil sand bed of the Aican-l Well in the Turpan-Hami basin were analysed. The δ13C values of C1-C3, are -55.1‰, -38.6‰ and -35.0‰ respectively. In terms of geochemical characteristics of natural gases and crude oils, in combination with basinal geological backgrounds, it is considered that the reservoir adsorbed gas was formed by crude-oil biodegradation, absorbed by reservoir rocks and its oil-gas source is related with the Permain (perhaps including the Carboniferous). 7Crucial function of histone lysine methylation in plant reproduction显示文摘Unlike animals, plants do not set aside germ cells early in development. In angiosperm species, reproduction occurs in the adult plant upon flowering. The multicellular male and female gametophytes differentiate from meiotic products within reproductive floral organs. Double fertilization is another remarkable feature of most angiosperm species. The zygote derived from fertilization of the egg cell by one of the sperm cells and the endosperm from fertilization of the central cell by the second sperm cell develop in a coordinated manner together and enclosed in the sporophytic maternal integuments, forming the seed. Understanding plant reproduction is biologically pertinent and agronomically and ecologically important. Here, we describe the known functions of histone lysine methylations in various steps of reproduction in the reference plant Arabidopsis thaliana. 8Natural gas geochemistry of low evolutionary stage of mediumand small-sized basins in Yunnan Province, southwestern China显示文摘The biogenic gas and premature-low mature associated gases in some medium and small-sized basins of Yannan Province, such as Luliang, Yanglin, Baoshan and Jinggu basins, have beed researched. The results show that the biogenic-gas consists mainly of methane which is more than 99% in gasous hydrocarbons and of lighter carbon isotopic composition with δ13C1 values from -60.0‰ to - 75.4‰. 9Effect of Zibushenjing Fang on skeletal development and brain tissue antioxidation in mice with kidney essence insufficiency: a mechanistic study显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Zibushenjing Fang (formula for tonifying the kidney essence) on skeletal development and brain tissue antioxidation in mice with kidney essence insufficiency. METHODS: Fifty male Kunming mice were randomly divided into five groups: normal group, model group, Jinkuishenqi Wan group, Zibushenjing Fang high dose group, and Zibushenjing Fang low dose group, with 10 mice in each group. The model of kidney essence insufficiency syndrome was established in all the mice except the normal group by using a cat to threaten the mice and by swimming until exhaustion daily which lasted about 21 days. Mice in the model group were administered 20 mL/ kg -1 · d -1 of normal saline intragastrically. The Jinkuishenqi Wan group was given 2.7 g/kg-1 · d-1 ofa solution of Jinkuishenqi Wan. The Zibushenjing Fang high dose group was given 20 g/kg -1 · d -1 and the Zibushenjing Fang low dose group was given 10 g/kg -1 · d -1 of a solution of Zibushenjing Fang.The general condition of all the groups was observed, including the quantity of food and water intake, swimming time, length of femur, and weight of the femur and musculus quadriceps femoris. The total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), glutathione peroxi- dase (GSH-Px), and methane dicarboxylic aldehyde (MDA) activities in the brain tissues were detected. RESULTS: Zibushenjing Fang could improve the manifestation of kidney essence insufficiency, increase the quantity of food and water intake, swimming time, femur length, and femur and musculus quadriceps femoris weight. It could also regulate the activities of T-SOD, GSH-Px, and MDA in brain tissue. 16Super enhancers targeting ZBTB16 in osteogenesis protect against osteoporosis显示文摘As the major cell precursors in osteogenesis, mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) are indispensable for bone homeostasis and development. However, the primary mechanisms regulating osteogenic differentiation are controversial. Composed of multiple constituent enhancers, super enhancers(SEs) are powerful cis-regulatory elements that identify genes that ensure sequential differentiation. The present study demonstrated that SEs were indispensable for MSC osteogenesis and involved in osteoporosis development. Through integrated analysis, we identified the most common SE-targeted and osteoporosis-related osteogenic gene,ZBTB16. ZBTB16, positively regulated by SEs, promoted MSC osteogenesis but was expressed at lower levels in osteoporosis.Mechanistically, SEs recruited bromodomain containing 4(BRD4) at the site of ZBTB16, which then bound to RNA polymerase IIassociated protein 2(RPAP2) that transported RNA polymerase Ⅱ(POL Ⅱ) into the nucleus. The subsequent synergistic regulation of POL Ⅱ carboxyterminal domain(CTD) phosphorylation by BRD4 and RPAP2 initiated ZBTB16 transcriptional elongation, which facilitated MSC osteogenesis via the key osteogenic transcription factor SP7. 17Pressure-induced Lifshitz transition in the type Ⅱ Dirac semimetal PtTe_2显示文摘Numerous exotic properties have been discovered in Dirac Semimetals(DSMs) and Weyl Semimetals(WSMs). In a given DSM/WSM, the Dirac/Weyl nodes usually coexist with other bulk states, making their respective contribution elusive. In this work, we distinguish the role of bulk states from the tilted Dirac nodes on the transport properties in DSMs. Specifically, we applied pressure to a type-II DSM material, PtTe2, and studied its pressure modified electronic and lattice structure systematically by using in situ transport measurements and X-ray diffraction(XRD). A pressure-induced transition at about 20 GPa is revealed in the transport properties, while the layered lattice structure is robust against pressure as illustrated in XRD measurement results.Density functional theory(DFT) calculations suggest that this is originated from the Lifshitz transition in the bulk states. 18Osteoking downregulates Mgp in an osteoporotic fracture rat model显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effectiveness of osteoking, a Traditional Chinese Medicine originating from Yi nationality, against osteoporosis(OP) and osteoporotic fracture(OPF), and to elucidate its mechanism of action.METHODS: An osteoporotic fracture rat model was established;animals were divided into three treatment groups: parathyroid hormone, osteoking and0.9%NaCl. After 4, 8 and 12 weeks of treatment, serum and bone tissues were collected. Enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay, x-ray, histopathological evaluation and proteomics were used.Proteomics and GO annotation were performed based on identified peptides. The relative network was obtained from the STRING database and verified by polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting.RESULTS: After osteoking treatment, the bone mineral density(BMD) increased with time in the osteoking group. At week 12, the BMD and bone mineral salt content of the osteoking group were 4.5%and 20.6% higher than those of the negative control group, respectively. Furthermore, the body weight followed the order of positive control group > osteoking group > negative control group,with significant differences among the groups(P <0.05). Micro-CT analysis of femur sections revealed that the bone surface/volume ratio was significantly higher in the osteoking group than that in the negative control group. X-ray images demonstrated that the osteoking group showed clear callus.Moreover, high-voltage micro-CT demonstrated a massive cortical bone accumulation in the osteoking group. The gray values of callus in the osteoking group were higher than those in the negative group. From week 4 to 12, the serum bone alkaline phosphatase level increased by 49.6% in the osteoking group and the serum propeptide of type procollagen level decreased by 80.6%. Alizarin reⅠd staining demonstrated that the calcium deposition in the osteoking group was higher than that in the negative control group. Notably, the expression of Mgp, a key osteogenesis inhibitor, was lower in the osteoking group compared with the negative control group. 19Growth of large scale PtTe,PtTe_(2) and PtSe_(2) films on a wide range of substrates显示文摘1T phase of transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)formed by group 10 transition metals(e.g.Pt,Pd)have attracted increasing interests due to their novel properties and potential device applications.Synthesis of large scale thin films with controlled phase is critical especially considering that these materials have relatively strong interlayer interaction and are difficult to exfoliate.Here we report the growth of centimeter-scale PtTe,1T-PtTe2 and 1T-PtSe2 films via direct deposition of Pt metals followed by tellurization or selenization.We find that by controlling the Te flux,a hitherto-unexplored PtTe phase can also be obtained,which can be further tuned into PtTe2 by high temperature annealing under Te flux.These films with different thickness can be grown on a wide range of substrates,including NaCl which can be further dissolved to obtain free-standing PtTe2 or PtSe2 films.Moreover,a systematic thickness dependent resistivity and Hall conductivity measurements show that distinguished from the semiconducting PtSe2 with hole carriers,PtTe2 and PtTe films are metallic.Our work opens new opportunities for investigating the physical properties and potential applications of group 10 TMDC films and the new monochalcogenide PtTe film.Kenan Zhang Meng Wang Xue Zhou Yuan Wang Shengchun Shen Ke Deng Huining Peng Jiaheng Li Xubo Lai Liuwan Zhang Yang Wu Wenhui Duan Pu Yu Shuyun Zhou 2021Nano Research2021,14,6:1
