5Attribution of Persistent Precipitation in the Yangtze–Huaihe River Basin during February 2019显示文摘In February 2019,a month-long persistent precipitation event occurred in the Yangtze–Huaihe River basin.The geopotential height field that affected the duration of this frontal rainfall was divided into a high-latitude part and a lowlatitude part for analysis.In the high-latitude part,a two-wave structure led to quasi-stationary circulation,and the change of both the blocking high pressure and Arctic Oscillation phase caused cold air to invade South China continuously and changed the frontal position.In mid-to-low latitudes,the persistent precipitation showed quasi-biweekly oscillation characteristics.The so-called“subtropical high–precipitation–anticyclone”(SHPA)feedback mechanism blocked the circulation systems in the mid-to-low latitudes and provided a continuous supply of water vapor for precipitation.As for the effect of sea surface temperature,the western North Pacific anomalous anticyclone stimulated by El Niño strengthened the intensity of the southerly wind and provided support for the redevelopment of the anticyclone system in the SHPA feedback mechanism.The sea surface temperature anomaly in the South China Sea provided sensible heating for precipitation,and convergent rising airflow was conducive to the occurrence of precipitation.Additionally,the SHPA mechanism provides a reliable basis for the prediction of persistent precipitation in winter in the mid-to-low latitudes.Zhixuan WANG Jilin SUN Jiancheng WU Fangyue NING Weiqi CHEN 2020Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,12:1

7Resolving the lineage relationship between malignant cells and vascular cells in glioblastomas显示文摘Glioblastoma multiforme(GBM),a highly malignant and heterogeneous brain tumor,contains various types of tumor and non-tumor cells.Whether GBM cells can trans-differentiate into non-neural cell types,including mural cells or endothelial cells(ECs),to support tumor growth and invasion remains controversial.Here we generated two genetic GBM models de novo in immunocompetent mouse brains,mimicking essential pathological and molecular features of human GBMs.Lineage-tracing and transplantation studies demonstrated that,although blood vessels in GBM brains underwent drastic remodeling,evidence of trans-differentiation of GBM cells into vascular cells was barely detected.Intriguingly,GBM cells could promiscuously express markers for mural cells during gliomagenesis.Furthermore,single-cell RNA sequencing showed that patterns of copy number variations(CNVs)of mural cells and ECs were distinct from those of GBM cells,indicating discrete origins of GBM cells and vascular components.Importantly,single-cell CNV analysis of human GBM specimens also suggested that GBM cells and vascular cells are likely separate lineages.Rather than expansion owing to trans-differentiation,vascular cell expanded by proliferation during tumorigenesis.Therefore,cross-lineage trans-differentiation of GBM cells is very unlikely to occur during gliomagenesis.Our findings advance understanding of cell lineage dynamics during gliomagenesis,and have implications for targeted treatment of GBMs.Fangyu Wang Xuan Liu Shaowen Li Chen Zhao Yumei Sun Kuan Tian Junbao Wang Wei Li Lichao Xu Jing Jing Juan Wang Sylvia MEvans Zhiqiang Li Ying Liu Yan Zhou 2023Protein & Cell2023,14,2:0
8Double-cycle weighted imputation method for wastewater treatment process data with multiple missing patterns显示文摘Due to sensor malfunctions and communication faults,multiple missing patterns frequently happen in wastewater treatment process(WWTP).Nevertheless,the existing missing data imputation works cannot stand multiple missing patterns because they have not sufficiently utilized of data information.In this article,a double-cycle weighted imputation(DCWI)method is proposed to deal with multiple missing patterns by maximizing the utilization of the available information in variables and instances.The proposed DCWI is comprised of two components:a double-cycle-based imputation sorting and a weighted K nearest neighbor-based imputation estimator.First,the double-cycle mechanism,associated with missing variable sorting and missing instance sorting,is applied to direct the missing values imputation.Second,the weighted K nearest neighbor-based imputation estimator is used to acquire the global similar instances and capture the volatility in the local region.The estimator preserves the original data characteristics as much as possible and enhances the imputation accuracy.Finally,experimental results on simulated and real WWTP datasets with non-stationarity and nonlinearity demonstrate that the proposed DCWI produces more accurate imputation results than comparison methods under different missing patterns and missing ratios.HAN HongGui SUN MeiTing WU XiaoLong LI FangYu 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,12:0
9Structure-guided discovery of potent and oral soluble epoxide hydrolase inhibitors for the treatment of neuropathic pain显示文摘Soluble epoxide hydrolase(sEH) is related to arachidonic acid cascade and is over-expressed in a variety of diseases, making sEH an attractive target for the treatment of pain as well as inflammatory-related diseases. A new series of memantyl urea derivatives as potent sEH inhibitors was obtained using our previous reported compound 4 as lead compound. A preferential modification of piperidinyl to 3-carbamoyl piperidinyl was identified for this series via structure-based rational drug design. Compound A20 exhibited moderate percentage plasma protein binding(88.6%) and better metabolic stability in vitro. After oral administration, the bioavailability of A20 was 28.6%. Acute toxicity test showed that A20 was well tolerated and there was no adverse event encountered at dose of 6.0 g/kg. Inhibitor A20 also displayed robust analgesic effect in vivo and dose-dependently attenuated neuropathic pain in rat model induced by spared nerve injury, which was better than gabapentin and sEH inhibitor(±)-EC-5026. 10Seabuckthorn juice alleviates allergic symptoms in shrimp-induced food allergy mice显示文摘Tropomyosin(TM)in shrimp is one of the predominant causes of food allergy around the world.In the present study,the effect of seabuckthorn juice against TM-induced shrimp allergy was investigated in BALB/c mice.Allergic symptoms,spleen index,intestinal section and diarrhea were measured in shrimp allergy mice.As the results,seabuckthorn juice suppressed the lesions in jejunum tissue,diarrhea and allergic symptoms in shrimp allergy mice.Seabuckthorn juice also reduced serum concentrations of tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-α)as well as immunoglobulin E(IgE)and stimulated the secretion of interleukin-10(IL-10)in mice with shrimp allergy.Taken together,our findings suggest that increased IL-10 by seabuckthorn juice inhibits Th2 cytokine production to suppress shrimp allergic symptoms.Furthermore,seabuckthorn juice also regulates shrimp allergy by reducing jejunum lesions,inhibiting levels of TNF-αand IgE.Hong Ren Xiaofan Zhu Shiyu Zhai Xiaoping Feng Zhuomin Yan Jiao Sun Ye Liu Zhenpeng Gao Fangyu Long 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,3:0
11Adenosine cyclic phosphate with ultrasonic-assisted pectinase extraction alleviated allergic reactions in RBL-2H3 through inhibiting the influx of intracellular Ca^(2+)显示文摘Jujube contains abundant cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP)and the ultrasonic-assisted pectinase extraction(UAPE)conditions for obtaining the maximum cAMP yield from jujube were optimized.Orthogonal array design was applied to evaluate the effects of 4 variables by UAPE on cAMP yield.The results showed that the optimal cAMP yield(783.0μg/g)was derived at ratio of liquid to solid 5 mL/g,ratio of pectinase to raw material 1.5%,time 60 min and temperature 40℃.Moreover,the effect of cAMP on the anti-allergic function of action induced by immunoglobulin E(IgE)and its meschanism was investigated through establishing the sensitized cell model in rat basophilic leukemia(RBL-2 H3)cells using dinitrophenylated(DNP)-bovine serum albumin(BSA)-IgE.The results showed that cAMP interfered with sensitized cells,effectively inhibited the occurrence of basophil degranulation in dose dependence,and significantly reduced the activity ofβ-hexosamindase(β-hex),at the optimal concentration of 50μg/mL.The level of anti-inflammatory factor interleukin-10(IL-10)was promoted and the content of pro-inflammatory factor tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)was suppressed by cAMP.In addition,influx of intracellular Ca^(2+) was repressed effectively.Our results demonstrate that jujube cAMP regulated the cytokine balance in the allergy pathway through blocking the influx of extracellular Ca^(2+),with the prevention of allergy symptoms.Qiao Bai Xiaoping Feng Yu Wang Chunyu Wu Ye Liu Jiao Sun Tianli Yue Fangyu Long 2023Food Science and Human Wellness2023,12,3:0
12Geochronology and geochemistry of the W-Mo-ore-related granitic rocks from eastern Ningzhen,lower Yangtze river belt,eastern China显示文摘Here we present zircon U–Pb–Hf and wholerock major and trace element studies of eastern Ningzhen W-Mo-ore-related magmatic rocks,Yushan and Longwangshan granitic rocks,to constrain their form timing,magma sources,and tectonic settings.The results showed that the two plutons were formed in the Early Cretaceous with;Pb/;U ages of 107.8±1.2 and 105.2±1.5 Ma(;Pb/;U),respectively.The trapped/residual zircons are mainly distributed in 2.0–2.5 Ga.The two intrusions are characterized by high silicon(68.60–73.99%),high aluminum(13.56–15.02%),high Mg#(47–55),high Sr,Sr/Y,LaN/YN,and low Yb,falling into high Mg#adakitic rock region.The zirconεHf(t)values of the two intrusions range from-24.8 to-13.2,indicating an ancient continental crust in their magma sources.The average Ti-inzircon temperature is 689°C,slightly higher than those of other high-Mg adakitic rocks in the lower Yangtze River belt,but lower than those of high-Mg adakitic rocks in the Southern Tanlu Fault(STLF).Zircon Ce;/Ce;show low oxygen fugacity(LWS-1:3–400,average 92;sample ZYS-4:9–382,average 93).These geochemical features indicate a thickened lower continental crust in the Eastern Ningzhen region in a subduction setting.Comparing the geochemical characteristics of the eastern Ningzhen to the western Ningzhen and other areas in the Lower Yangtze River Metallogenic Belt(LYRMB)and the high-Mg ore-barren adakitic rocks of the STLF,we propose that the magmatic rocks from eastern Ningzhen may be mainly from a thickened lower continental crust that hybridized with a very small part of mantle sources,while the west Ningzhen magmatic rocks may have experienced a higher degree of mantle contaminations in their source.The metallogenic differences between the eastern(W–Mo)and western(Cu–Fe–Pb–Zn)parts of Ningzhen also indicate different proportions of crustal materials in their magma source.Fangyue Wang Yongjie Guo Haiyang Yan Haiou Gu He Sun Can Ge 2022Acta Geochimica2022,41,2:0
13Differential Transcriptomic Landscapes of SARS-CoV-2 Variants in Multiple Organs from Infected Rhesus Macaques显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)caused the persistent coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic,which has resulted in millions of deaths worldwide and brought an enormous public health and global economic burden.The recurring global wave of infections has been exacerbated by growing variants of SARS-CoV-2.In this study,the virological characteristics of the original SARS-CoV-2 strain and its variants of concern(VOCs;including Alpha,Beta,and Delta)in vitro,as well as differential transcriptomic landscapes in multiple organs(lung,right ventricle,blood,cerebral cortex,and cerebellum)from the infected rhesus macaques,were elucidated.The original strain of SARS-CoV-2 caused a stronger innate immune response in host cells,and its VOCs markedly increased the levels of subgenomic RNAs,such as N,Orf9b,Orf6,and Orf7ab,which are known as the innate immune antagonists and the inhibitors of antiviral factors.Intriguingly,the original SARS-CoV-2 strain and Alpha variant induced larger alteration of RNA abundance in tissues of rhesus monkeys than Beta and Delta variants did.Moreover,a hyperinflammatory state and active immune response were shown in the right ventricles of rhesus monkeys by the up-regulation of inflammation-and immune-related RNAs.Furthermore,peripheral blood may mediate signaling transmission among tissues to coordinate the molecular changes in the infected individuals.Collectively,these data provide insights into the pathogenesis of COVID-19 at the early stage of infection by the original SARS-CoV-2 strain and its VOCs.Tingfu Du Chunchun Gao Shuaiyao Lu Qianlan Liu Yun Yang Wenhai Yu Wenjie Li Yong Qiao Sun Cong Tang Junbin Wang Jiahong Gao Yong Zhang Fangyu Luo Ying Yang Yun-Gui Yang Xiaozhong Peng 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,5:0
14Optical Fibre Communication Feature Analysis and Small Sample Fault Diagnosis Based on VMD-FE and Fuzzy Clustering显示文摘To solve the problems of a few optical fibre line fault samples and the inefficiency of manual communication optical fibre fault diagnosis,this paper proposes a communication optical fibre fault diagnosis model based on variational modal decomposition(VMD),fuzzy entropy(FE)and fuzzy clustering(FC).Firstly,based on the OTDR curve data collected in the field,VMD is used to extract the different modal components(IMF)of the original signal and calculate the fuzzy entropy(FE)values of different components to characterize the subtle differences between them.The fuzzy entropy of each curve is used as the feature vector,which in turn constructs the communication optical fibre feature vector matrix,and the fuzzy clustering algorithm is used to achieve fault diagnosis of faulty optical fibre.The VMD-FE combination can extract subtle differences in features,and the fuzzy clustering algorithm does not require sample training.The experimental results show that the model in this paper has high accuracy and is relevant to the maintenance of communication optical fibre when compared with existing feature extraction models and traditional machine learning models.Xiangqun Li Jiawen Liang Jinyu Zhu Shengping Shi Fangyu Ding Jianpeng Sun Bo Liu 2024Energy Engineering2024,121,1:0
