An Effective and Secure Access Control System Scheme in the Cloud显示文摘Cloud computing services have got rapid development in the field of the lightweight terminal, especially wireless communications. The comprehensive access control system framework is proposed for the cloud. A kind of access control scheme based on attribute encryption is designed, in which lightweight devices can safely use cloud computing resources to outsource encrypt/decrypt operations, and not worry for exposing terminal sensitive data. The scheme is verified by performance evaluation about the security, computing, storage, to ensure the legitimate interests of users in the cloud. | NIU Shaozhang TU Shanshan Huang Yongfeng | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2015,24,3: | 8
Synthesis of Chitosan-Hydroxyapatite Composites and Its Effect on the Properties of Bioglass Bone Cement显示文摘Chitosan-hydroxyapatite(CS-HA) composite powders were synthesized via in situ co-precipitation method, through the reaction of Ca(NO3)2 and H3PO4 in the simulated body fluid(SBF) containing appropriate amount of chitosan. The thermal evolution, microstructure and morphology were studied by TG-DTA(thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis),XRD(X-ray diffraction),FTIR(Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) and TEM(transmission electron microscopy). The in vitro bioactivity test showed that the obtained CS-HA composites had higher capability of inducing calcium ions deposition.Effects of CS-HA composites on the bioactivity and compressive strength of bioglass bone cement were investigated. The results indicated that the bioactivity of bioglass bone cement could be improved further when CS-HA composite powders were added into the cement, and appropriate amount of CS-HA additive was favorable for compressive strength improvement of bioglass bone cement. | Jingxiao Liu Fei Shi Ling Yu Liting Niu Shanshan Gao | 2009 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,4: | 3
Feasibility of Booster Vaccination in High-Risk Populations for Controlling Coronavirus Variants—China,2021显示文摘Introduction:Vaccination booster shots are completely necessary for controlling breakthrough infections of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)in China. The study aims to estimate effectiveness of booster vaccines for high-risk populations(HRPs).Methods:A vaccinated Susceptible-Exposed-Symptomatic-Asymptomatic-Recovered/Removed(SEIAR)model was developed to simulate scenarios of effective reproduction number(Reff)from 4 to 6.Total number of infectious and asymptomatic cases were used to evaluated vaccination effectiveness. Results:Our model showed that we could not prevent outbreaks when covering 80%of HRPs with booster unless Reff=4.0 or the booster vaccine had efficacy against infectivity and susceptibility of more than 90%.The results were consistent when the outcome index was confirmed cases or asymptomatic cases. Conclusions:An ideal coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)booster vaccination strategy for HRPs would be expected to reach the initial goal to control the transmission of the Delta variant in China.Accordingly, the recommendation for the COVID-19 booster vaccine should be implemented in HRPs who are already vaccinated and could prevent transmission to other groups. | Kangguo Li Zeyu Zhao Hongjie Wei Jia Rui Jiefeng Huang Xiaohao Guo Yichao Guo Shiting Yang Guzainuer Abudurusuli Li Luo Xingchun Liu Yao Wang Jingwen Xu Yuanzhao Zhu Meng Yang TianlongYang Weikang Liu Bin Deng Chan Liu Zhuoyang Li Peihua Li Shanshan Yu Zimei Yang Yanhua Su Benhua Zhao Yan Niu Tianmu Chen | 2021 | China CDC weekly2021,3,50: | 2
Chinese Web users' daily image needs and seeking behavior in a Q&A community显示文摘Purpose: In order to further the understanding of Chinese Web users' image-seeking behavior, this study explores the kinds of images that Chinese Web users seek online and how they express their requests.Design/methodology/approach: We used five pairs of simulated keywords to collect 893 image-seeking questions from Baidu Zhidao. Then, we revised the subject category of questions to analyze popular image needs. In addition, we conducted content analysis and descriptive statistical analysis to identify image-seeking motivations and image features used in the requests in terms of the two theories of image feature classification and image use.Findings: Among the 893 questions, the image searches for entertainment accounted for 47.59%, more than the searches for professional knowledge(37.40%) and personal daily activities(15.01%). With regard to motivation, over 60% of the questions were identified as used for learning, which is well over the proportion of questions used for illustrating. Thus, these questions requested images as sources of data rather than sources of objects. Non-visual features(47.58%) were used most frequently in question descriptions, slightly higher than semantic features(45.96%). Users who lacked domain knowledge tended to use general words rather than specific words to describe their requests. However, not many users used syntactic features when seeking images. Nevertheless, most of the users had a fairly clear idea about what the target image should look like.Research limitations: We studied only one question and answer(Q&A) community using five pairs of simulated keywords. Practical implications: The findings should be helpful in strengthening the functionality of Q&A systems, promoting the theories of image feature classification, and shedding light on information literacy training.Originality/value: This study is one of the first research efforts that discusses Chinese Web users' daily image searches and querying behavior in natural language in a Q&A community, which should help to further the understanding of the principles of image-seeking behavior among Chinese Web users. | Kun HUANG Xi NIU Shanshan WANG Kaifei WANG | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Library and Information Science2015,,1: | 1

Urban Metabolism Based on Emergy and Slack Based Model: A Case Study of Beijing, China显示文摘The key to studying urban sustainable development depends on quantifying stores, efficiencies of urban metabolisms and capturing urban metabolisms′ mechanisms. This paper builds up the metabolic emergy account and quantifies some important concepts of emergy stores. Emphasis is placed on the urban metabolic model based on the slack based model(SBM) method to measure urban metabolic efficiencies. Urban metabolic mechanisms are discussed by using the regression method. By integrating these models, this paper analyzes the urban metabolic development in Beijing from 2001 to 2010. We conclude that the metabolic emergy stores of Beijing increased significantly from 2001 to 2010, with the emergy imported accounting for most of the increase. The metabolic efficiencies in Beijing have improved since the 2008 Olympic Games. The population, economic growth, industrial structures, and environmental governance positively affect the overall urban metabolism, while the land expansion, urbanization and environmentally technical levels hinder the improving of urban metabolic efficiencies. The SBM metabolic method and the regression model based on the emergy analysis provide insights into the urban metabolic efficiencies and the mechanism. They can promote to integrate such concepts into their sustainability analyses and policy decisions. | SONG Tao CAI Jianming XU Hui DENG Yu NIU Fangqu YANG Zhenshan DU Shanshan | 2015 | Chinese Geographical Science2015,25,1: | 1
Single-atom Pt promoted Mo_(2)C for electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Hydrogen generation from electrochemical water splitting powered by renewable energy is important to the sustainable society, but the prohibitive cost of current Pt electrocatalyst has impeded the large-scale production of hydrogen by water electrolysis. In this contribution,a new low-Pt electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) has been fabricated by a facile one-pot synthesis approach,in which Pt^(2+)cations and phosphomolybdic acid confined in the metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) were submitted to pyrolysis to yield Pt single atoms dispersed into Mo_(2)C nanocrystals in 3 D porous carbon matrix. The as-synthesized Pt_(1)-Mo_(2)C-C catalyst with Pt content of only 0.7 wt% exhibited remarkably enhanced activity for HER in 1 M KOH,with overpotential at 10 mA/cm^(2) lowered from 211 mV to 155 mV and 7-fold higher mass activity(7.14 A/mgpt) than the benchmark 20 wt% Pt/C.The promoted activity can be attributed to the electronic interaction between Pt single atoms and Mo2C surface, which not only improved water activation but also strengthened hydrogen adsorption,as indicated by FTIR and microcalorimetric characterizations. | Shanshan Niu Ji Yang Haifeng Qi Yang Su Zhiyu Wang Jieshan Qiu Aiqin Wang Tao Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6: | 1
Associations of Residential Greenness with Depression and Anxiety in Rural Chinese Adults显示文摘BACKGROUND Depression and anxiety are top contributors to non-fatal health loss globally.Several studies have indicated the association between residential greenness and mental health.METHOD The participants(n=27,366)were recruited from four counties in Henan Province,China during 2015–2017.Symptoms of depression and anxiety were evaluated using the Patient Health Questionnaire-2(PHQ-2)and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-2(GAD-2)in the baseline survey. The level of residential greenness during the 3-year period before the baseline survey was assessed using the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI).The mixed-effect linear regression model was applied to examine the associations of residential greenness with depression and anxiety.RESULTS The results of adjusted models showed that the score of PHQ-2(Dscore and 95%confidence interval[CI])decreased by-0.024(-0.041,-0.006)and-0.022(-0.038,-0.004)with an interquartile range(IQR)increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius, respectively. The score of GAD-2(Dscore and 95%CI)decreased by-0.024(-0.040,-0.006)and-0.028(-0.044,-0.011),in relation to an IQR increase in NDVI and EVI within a 1,000-m buffer radius, respectively.CONCLUSIONS A higher level of residential greenness was significantly associated with lower risk of depression and anxiety in rural areas of Henan Province.Improving residential greenness accessibility may help to promote the mental health of rural populations. | Niu Di Shanshan Li Hao Xiang Yinyu Xie Zhenxing Mao Jian Hou Xiaotian Liu Wenqian Huo Boyi Yang Guanghui Dong Chongjian Wang Gongbo Chen Yuming Guo | 2020 | The Innovation2020,1,3: | 1

Spatial Differentiation and Convergence Trend of High-quality Development Level of China’s Tourism Economy显示文摘This paper aims to interpret the connotation of high-quality development of tourism economy(HQTE)from the perspective of the new development concepts of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, and then to evaluate the spatial differenti-ation of China’s HQTE based on provincial panel data from 2009 to 2018.Specifically,we employ the spatial convergence model to ex-plore the absolute and conditionalβconvergence trends of HQTE in the whole country and the eastern, central and western regions of China. Our empirical results reveal that:1)within the decade, from 2009 to 2018,regions of China with the highest HQTE index is its eastern region followed by the central region and then the western region, but the fastest growing one is the western region of China fol-lowed by the central region and then the eastern region.2)Whether or not the spatial effect is included, there are absolute and condition-alβconvergence in HQTE in the whole country and aforementioned three regions.3)The degree of government attention as well as the level of economic development and location accessibility are the positive driving factors for the convergence of HQTE in the whole country and the three regions. The degree of marketization and human capital have not passed the significance test either in the whole country or in the three regions. The above conclusions could deepen the understanding of the regional imbalance and spatial conver-gence characteristics of HQTE,clarify the primary development objects, and accomplish the goal of China’s HQTE. | CAO Shanshan HE Zhaoli NIU Jinlan WANG Songmao ZHAO Lei | 2024 | Chinese Geographical Science2024,34,2: | 0
Transmissibility of tuberculosis among students and non-students:an occupational-specific mathematical modelling显示文摘Background: Recently, despite the steady decline in the tuberculosis (TB) epidemic globally, school TB outbreaks have been frequently reported in China. This study aimed to quantify the transmissibility ofMycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) among students and non-students using a mathematical model to determine characteristics of TB transmission. Methods: We constructed a dataset of reported TB cases from four regions (Jilin Province, Xiamen City, Chuxiong Prefecture, and Wuhan City) in China from 2005 to 2019. We classified the population and the reported cases under student and non-student groups, and developed two mathematical models [nonseasonal model (Model A) and seasonal model (Model B)] based on the natural history and transmission features of TB. The effective reproduction number (R(eff)) of TB between groups were calculated using the collected data. Results: During the study period, data on 456,423 TB cases were collected from four regions: students accounted for 6.1% of cases. The goodness-of-fit analysis showed that Model A had a better fitting effect (P < 0.001). The average R_(eff) of TB estimated from Model A was 1.68 [interquartile range (IQR): 1.20–1.96] in Chuxiong Prefecture, 1.67 (IQR: 1.40–1.93) in Xiamen City, 1.75 (IQR: 1.37–2.02) in Jilin Province, and 1.79 (IQR: 1.56–2.02) in Wuhan City. The average R_(eff) of TB in the non-student population was 23.30 times (1.65/0.07) higher than that in the student population. Conclusions: The transmissibility of MTB remains high in the non-student population of the areas studied, which is still dominant in the spread of TB. TB transmissibility from the non-student-to-student-population had a strong influence on students. Specific interventions, such as TB screening, should be applied rigorously to control and to prevent TB transmission among students. | Qiuping Chen Shanshan Yu Jia Rui Yichao Guo Shiting Yang Guzainuer Abudurusuli Zimei Yang Chan Liu Li Luo Mingzhai Wang Zhao Lei Qinglong Zhao Laurent Gavotte Yan Niu Roger Frutos Tianmu Chen | 2022 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,6: | 0
Current state of stem cell research in non-human primates:an overview显示文摘The remarkable similarity between non-human primates(NHPs)and humans establishes them as essential models for understanding human biology and diseases,as well as for developing novel therapeutic strategies, thereby providing more comprehensive reference data for clinical treatment.Pluripotent stem cells such as embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells provide unprecedented opportunities for cell therapies against intractable diseases and injuries. As continue to harness the potential of these biotechnological therapies,NHPs are increasingly being employed in preclinical trials, serving as a pivotal tool to evaluate the safety and efficacy of these interventions. Here,we review the recent advancements in the fundamental research of stem cells and the progress made in studies involving NHPs. | Junmo Wu Yuxi Shi Shanshan Yang Zengli Tang Zifan Li Zhuoyao Li Jiawei Zuo Weizhi Ji Yuyu Niu | 2023 | Medical Review2023,3,4: | 0
Pressure shear assisted extraction of polysaccharide from Auricularia auricula and its biological activities显示文摘In this paper, using to the comprehensive scoring method, pressure shear assisted extraction was used to prepare polysaccharide from Auricularia auricula(PS-AAP)by orthogonal test to optimize the extraction. The highest comprehensive score(90.70)was obtained under 1:70 g/mL solid-liquid ratio,110°C reaction temperature,60 min reaction time and 1.0 MPa reaction pressure.Compared to AAP by water bath(WB-AAP),PS-AAP led to a higher extraction efficiency and decreased the relative molecular weight. In addition, infrared spectrum(FT-IR)analysis showed that pressure shear assisted did not change the polysaccharide structure.Scanning electron microscope(SEM)showed that PS-AAP was smaller and more broken by pressure shear assisted.Furthermore, the ratio of glucose to mannose in PS-AAP was relatively higher than WB-AAP,which also proved that PS-AAP had certain antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities.Compared with WB-AAP,the inhibitionα-glucosidase andα-amylase activity of PS-AAP increased by 11.37%and 24.43%respectively.These results revealed that PS-AAP has the poten-tial value of being a antioxidant and hypoglycemic agent. | Yuetong Chen Wenhao Yu Shanshan Zhang Yabin Niu Yanrong Zhang Tingting Liu | 2023 | Journal of Future Foods2023,3,1: | 0
New definition of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease with elevated brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity and albuminuria: a prospective cohort study显示文摘A new definition of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)has recently been proposed. We aim to examine the associations of MAFLD,particularly its discordance from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),with the progression of elevated brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV)and albuminuria in a community-based study sample in Shanghai,China. After 4.3 years of follow-up,778 participants developed elevated baPWV and 499 developed albuminuria. In comparison with the non-MAFLD group, the multivariable adjusted odds ratio(OR)of MAFLD group for new-onset elevated baPWV was 1.25(95%confidence interval(CI)1.01–1.55)and 1.35(95%CI 1.07–1.70)for albuminuria.Participants without NAFLD but diagnosed according to MAFLD definition were associated with higher risk of incident albuminuria(OR 1.77;95%CI 1.07–2.94).Patients with MAFLD with high value of hepamet fibrosis score or poor-controlled diabetes had higher risk of elevated baPWV or albuminuria. In conclusion,MAFLD was associated with new-onset elevated baPWV and albuminuria independently of body mass index, waist circumference, and hip circumference.Individuals without NAFLD but diagnosed as MAFLD had high risk of albuminuria, supporting that MAFLD criteria would be practical for the evaluation of long-term risk of subclinical atherosclerosis among fatty liver patients. | Jialu Wang Shanshan Liu Qiuyu Cao Shujing Wu Jingya Niu Ruizhi Zheng Lizhan Bie Zhuojun Xin Yuanyue Zhu Shuangyuan Wang Hong Lin Tiange Wang Min Xu Jieli Lu Yuhong Chen Yiping Xu Weiqing Wang Guang Ning Yu Xu Mian Li Yufang Bi Zhiyun Zhao | 2022 | Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,5: | 0
Developmental systems biology flourishing on new technologies显示文摘Organism development is a systems level process. It has benefited greatly from the recent technological advances in the field of systems biology. DNA microarray, phenome, interactome and transcriptome mapping, the new generation of deep sequencing technologies, and faster and better computational and modeling approaches have opened new frontiers for both systems biologists and developmental biologists to reexamine the old developmental biology questions, such as pattern formation, and to tackle new problems, such as stem cell reprogramming. As showcased in the International Developmental Systems Biology Symposium organized by Chinese Academy of Sciences, developmental systems biology is flourishing in many perspectives, from the evolution of developmental systems, to the underly-ing genetic and molecular pathways and networks, to the genomic, epigenomic and noncoding levels, to the computational analysis and modeling. | 17 | Mathematical Models Supporting Control of COVID-19显示文摘Mathematical models have played an important role in the management of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.The aim of this review is to describe uses of COVID-19 mathematical models, their classification, and the advantages and disadvantages of different types of models. We conducted subject heading searches of PubMed and China National Knowledge Infrastructure with the terms“COVID-19,”“Mathematical Statistical Model,”“Model,”“Modeling,”“Agent-based Model,”and“Ordinary Differential Equation Model”and classified and analyzed the scientific literature retrieved in the search. We categorized the models as data-driven or mechanism-driven.Data-driven models are mainly used for predicting epidemics, and have the advantage of rapid assessment of disease instances. However, their ability to determine transmission mechanisms is limited.Mechanism-driven models include ordinary differential equation(ODE)and agent-based models.ODE models are used to estimate transmissibility and evaluate impact of interventions.Although ODE models are good at determining pathogen transmission characteristics, they are less suitable for simulation of early epidemic stages and rely heavily on availability of first-hand field data.Agent-based models consider influences of individual differences, but they require large amounts of data and can take a long time to develop fully. Many COVID-19 mathematical modeling studies have been conducted, and these have been used for predicting trends, evaluating interventions, and calculating pathogen transmissibility.Successful infectious disease modeling requires comprehensive considerations of data, applications, and purposes. | Bin Deng Yan Niu Jingwen Xu Jia Rui Shengnan Lin Zeyu Zhao Shanshan Yu Yichao Guo Li Luo Tianmu Chen Qun Li | 2022 | China CDC weekly2022,4,40: | 0
