1Identification and mapping of genes for improving yield from Chinese common wild rice (O.rufipogon Griff.) using advanced backcross QTL analysis显示文摘To identify useful genes from wild rice which have been lost or weakened in cultivated rice has become more and more important for modern breeding strategy. In this study, a BC4 population derived from 94W1, an accession of common wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff.) from Dongxiang in Jiangxi Province of China, as the donor, and a high-yielding Indica cultivar (O. sativa L.), 'Guichao 2', as the recipient, was used to identify quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated with yield and its components. Based on the analysis for the genotype of BC4F1 population with 87 SSR markers distributed throughout the genome and investigation of the plant height, yield and yield components of BC4F2, a total of 52 QTLs, were detected. Of 7 QTLs associated with grain yield per plant, 2 QTLs on chromosome 2 and chromosome 11 for grain yield, explaining 16% and 11% of the phenotypic variance respectively, were identified. 2Identification and mapping of quantitative trait loci controlling cold-tolerance of Chinese common wild rice (O. rufipogon Griff.) at booting to flowering stages显示文摘An advanced backcross population of rice was used to identify the quantitative trait locus (QTL) controlling the cold-tolerance at booting to flowering stages. The recipient, Guichao 2 (GC2), was a commercial Indica rice; the donor Dongxiang common wild rice, was an accession of common wild rice (DXCWR, Oryza rufipogon Griff.). Three QTLs for cold-tolerance were detected on chromosomes 1, 6 and 11. Two of them coming from DXCWR could enhance the cold-tolerance of the backcross progenies. 3Genetic diversity of rice cultivars (Oryza sativa L.) in China and the temporal trends in recent fifty years显示文摘To understand geographical distribution of the genetic diversity of rice cultivars {Oryza sativa L.) and its trends in recent fifty years in China, 453 ’ accessions were analyzed by 36 microsatellites loci and 42 phenotypic traits. Results revealed that the genetic diversity by SSRs is highly consistent with that by phenotypic traits and the genetic diversity of indica cultivars was higher than that of japonica cultivars; the genetic diversity of cultivars declined from 1950s to 1980s and then increased greatly; among the six rice ecological zones (REZs), genetic diversity of REZTl was the highest and those of REZV and REZVT were the lowest at both DNA and phenotypic level. Jiangsu and Jiangxi provinces in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and Sichuan province in southwest of China were the areas with the highest genetic diversity. 7Microwave-assisted conversion of biomass wastes to pseudocapacitive mesoporous carbon for high-performance supercapacitor显示文摘Developing an efficient approach of transforming biomass waste to functional carbon-based electrode materials applied in supercapacitor offers an important and high value-added practical application due to the abundance and considerable low price of biomass wastes.Herein,a hierarchical carbon functionalized with electrochemical-active oxygen-containing groups was fabricated by microwave treatment from the biomass waste of camellia oleifera.The obtained mesoporous carbon(MAC)owns nanosheet morphology,rich mesoporosity,large surface area(1726 m2/g)and very high oxygenic functionalities(16.2 wt%)with pseudocapacitive activity.Prepared electrode of supercapacitor and tested in 2.0 M H2 SO4,the MAC exhibits an obvious pseudocapacitive activity and achieved a superior supercapacitive performance to that of directly activated carbon(DAC-800)including high specific capacitance(367 F/g vs.298 F/g)and better rate performance(66%vs.44%).The symmetrical supercapacitor based on MAC shows a high capacity of275 F/g,large energy density of 9.55 Wh/kg(at power density of 478 W/kg)and excellent cycling stability with 99%capacitance retention after 10000 continuous charge-discharge,endowing the obtained MAC a promising functional material for electrochemical energy storage.Xiangkun Bo Kun Xiang Yu Zhang Yu Shen Shanyong Chen Yongzheng Wang Mingjiang Xie Xuefeng Guo 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,12:6
8Identification and classification of subspecies of Asian cultivated rice and their hybrids显示文摘Having reviewed the major classification systems proposed by various scholars across the world, it is found that \%indica\% and \%japonica\% under \%O.sativa\% L. are two major directions thoroughly differentiated from the Asian cultivated rice, forming the framework of the classification structure. 9Genetic structure and diversity of Oryza sativa L. in Guizhou,China显示文摘Preserving many kinds of rice resources and rich variations, Guizhou Province is one of the districts with the highest genetic diversity of cultivated rice (Oryza sativa L.) in China. In the current research, genetic diversity and structure of 537 accessions of cultivated rice from Guizhou were studied using 36 microsatellite markers and 39 phenotypic characters. The results showed that the model-based genetic structure was the same as genetic-distance-based one using SSRs but somewhat different from the documented classification (mainly based on phenotype) of two subspecies. The accessions being classified into indica by phenotype but japonica by genetic structure were much more than that being classified into japonica by phenotype but indica by genetic structure. Like Ding Ying’s taxonomic sys- tem of cultivated rice, the subspecific differentiation was the most distinct differentiation within culti- vated rice. But the differentiation within indica or japonica population was different: japonica presented clearer differentiation between soil-watery ecotypes than indica, and indica presented clearer differen- tiation between seasonal ecotypes than japonica. Cultivated rices in Guizhou revealed high genetic diversity at both DNA and phenotypic levels. 10Amoxicillin effects on functional microbial community and spread of antibiotic resistance genes in amoxicillin manufacture wastewater treatment system显示文摘This study aimed to reveal how amoxicillin(AMX) affected the microbial community and the spread mechanism of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs) in the AMX manufacture wastewater treatment system. For this purpose, a 1.47 L expanded granular sludge bed(EGSB) reactor was designed and run for 241 days treating artificial AMX manufacture wastewater. 454 pyrosequencing was applied to analyze functional microorganisms in the system. The antibiotic genes OXA_(-1), OXA_(-2), OXA_(-10), TEM_(-1), CTX-M_(-1), class I integrons(intI1) and 16 SrRNA genes were also examined in sludge samples. The results showed that the genera Ignavibacterium, Phocoenobacter,Spirochaeta, Aminobacterium and Cloacibacillus contributed to the degradation of different organic compounds(such as various sugars and amines). 11Zinc Isotope Characteristics in the Biogeochemical Cycle as Revealed by Analysis of Suspended Particulate Matter(SPM) in Aha Lake and Hongfeng Lake, Guizhou, China显示文摘Zn isotope is a useful tool for tracing biogeochemical processes as zinc plays important roles in the biogeochemistry of natural systems. However, the Zn isotope composition in the lake ecosystems has not been well characterized. In order to resolve this problem, we investigate the Zn isotope compositions of suspended particulate matter(SPM) and biological samples collected from the Aha Lake and Hongfeng Lake, and their tributaries in summer and winter, aiming to explore the potential of this novel isotope system as a proxy for biogeochemical processes in aqueous environments. Concentration of dissolved Zn ranges from 0.65 to 5.06 μg/L and 0.74 to 12.04 μg/L for Aha Lake and Hongfeng Lake, respectively, while Zn(SPM) ranges from 0.18 to 0.70 mg/g and 0.24 to 0.75 mg/g for Aha Lake and Hongfeng Lake, respectively. The Zn isotope composition in SPM from Aha Lake and its main tributaries ranges from -0.18‰ to 0.27‰ and -0.17‰ to 0.46‰, respectively, and it varies from -0.29‰ to 0.26‰ and -0.04‰ to 0.48‰, respectively in Hongfeng Lake and its main tributaries, displaying a wider range in tributaries than lakes. These results imply that Zn isotope compositions are mainly affected by tributaries inputting into Aha Lake, while adsorption process by algae is the major factor for the Zn isotope composition in Hongfeng Lake, and ZnS precipitation leads to the light Zn isotope composition of SPM in summer. 12The Marine Redox Change and Nitrogen Cycle in the Early Cryogenian Interglacial Time: Evidence from Nitrogen Isotopes and Mo Contents of the Basal Datangpo Formation, Northeastern Guizhou, South China显示文摘Cryogenian Datangpo Formation was deposited during the interglacial time between the Sturtian and Marinoan ice ages. We studied nitrogen isotope compositions and contents of Mo of the black shales from the basal Datangpo Formation in northeastern Guizhou, South China, for an attempt to reconstruct the marine redox change and nitrogen cycle during the interglacial time. Based on lithostratigraphy as well as geochemical profiles, the basal black shales can be divided into four intervals: Interval 1 has the lowest δ^(15)N value(+5.0‰); in interval 2, δ^(15)N values vary between +6.4‰ and +7.4‰(the first peak); interval 3 records stable values of δ^(15)N around +6‰; and interval 4 is characterized by its higher δ^(15)N values, between +6.7‰ and +7.8‰(the second peak). The values of enrichment factor of Mo decrease from 56.8 to 2.6 with the ascending stratigraphic trend. It indicated that immediately after the Sturtian glaciations, the marine seawater above the transitional zone between the shelf to slope of the southern margin of the Yangtze Platform was stratified, with shallow seawater being oxic but deep water being sulfidic. 20An investigation on microwave transmissivity at frequencies of 18.7 and 36.5 GHz for diverse forest types during snow season显示文摘Forests have invariably been considered as an obstacle in retrieving land surface parameters from spaceborne passive microwave brightness temperature(T_(B))observations.For quantifying the effect of forests on microwave signals,several models have been developed.However,these models rarely reveal the dependence of microwave radiation on forest types,which can hardly meet the needs of high-accuracy retrieval of terrestrial parameters in forested regions.A ground-based microwave radiometric observation experiment was designed to investigate the dependence of microwave radiation on frequency,polarization,and forest type.Downward TB at 18.7-and 36.5-GHz for horizontal-and vertical-polarization from the forest canopy was measured at 14 sample plots in Northeast China,along with snowpack and forest structural parameters.By providing fits to experimental data,new empirical transmissivity models for three forest types were developed,as a function of woody stem volume and depending on the frequency/polarization.The proposed models give diverse asymptotic transmissivity saturation levels and the corresponding saturation point of woody stem volume for different forest types.Root-mean-square error results between T_(B) simulations and Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer-2 observations are approximately 3-6 K.This study provides an experimental and theoretical reference for further development of inversion models for snow parameters in forested areas.Wang Guangrui Li Xiaofeng Chen Xiuxue Jiang Tao Zheng Xingming Wei Yanlin Wan Xiangkun Wang Jian 2021International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,10:1
