2Reproductive management through integration of PGD and MPS-based noninvasive prenatal screening/diagnosis for a family with GJB2-associated hearing impairment显示文摘A couple with a proband child of GJB2(encoding the gap junction protein connexin 26)-associated hearing impairment and a previous pregnancy miscarriage sought for a reproductive solution to bear a healthy child. Our study aimed to develop a customized preconception-to-neonate care trajectory to fulfill this clinical demand by integrating preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD), noninvasive prenatal testing(NIPT), and noninvasive prenatal diagnosis(NIPD) into the strategy. Auditory and genetic diagnosis of the proband child was carried out to identify the disease causative mutations. The couple then received in-vitro-fertilization treatment, and eight embryos were obtained for day 5 biopsy. PGD was performed by short-tandem-repeat linkage analysis and Sanger sequencing of GJB2 gene. Transfer of a GJB2 c.235del C heterozygous embryo resulted in a singleton pregnancy. At the 13 th week of gestation, genomic DNA(g DNA) from the trio family and cell-free DNA(cf DNA) from maternal plasma were obtained for assessment of fetal chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2 mutations. NIPT and NIPD showed the absence of chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2-associated disease in the fetus, which was later confirmed by invasive procedures and postnatal genetic/auditory diagnosis. 3Selective removal of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid from water by molecularly-imprinted amino-functionalized silica gel sorbent显示文摘A molecularly-imprinted amino-functionalized sorbent for selective removal of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D) was prepared by a surface imprinting technique in combination with a sol-gel process.The 2,4-D-imprinted amino-functionalized silica sorbent was characterized by FT-IR,nitrogen adsorption and static adsorption experiments.The selectivity of the sorbent was investigated by a batch competitive binding experiment using an aqueous 2,4-D and 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP) mixture or using an aqueous 2,4-D and 2,4dichlorophenylacetic acid(DPAC) mixture.The largest selectivity coefficient for 2,4-D in the presence of 2,4-DCP was found to be over 18,the largest relative selectivity coefficient between 2,4-D and 2,4-DCP over 9.The static uptake capacity and selectivity coefficient of the 2,4-D-imprinted functionalized sorbent are higher than those of the non-imprinted sorbent.The imprinted functionalized silica gel sorbent offered a fast kinetics for the extraction/stripping of 2,4-D,73% of binding capacity(200 mg/L 2,4-D onto 20 mg of imprinted sorbent) was obtained within 5 min and the adsorbed 2,4-D can be easily stripped by the mixture solution of ethanol and 6 mol/L HCl(V:V =1:1).In a test of five extraction/stripping cycles,the adsorption capacity of the sorbent was all above 93% of that of the fresh sorbent.Experimental result showed the potential of molecularly-imprinted amino-functionalized sorbent for selective removal of 2,4-D.Deman Han ,Wenping Jia,Huading Liang Department of Chemistry,Taizhou University,Linhai 317000,China. 2010Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,2:11
4Error Compensation of Thin Plate-shape Part with Prebending Method in Face Milling显示文摘Low weight and good toughness thin plate parts are widely used in modern industry, but its flexibility seriously impacts the machinability. Plenty of studies focus on the influence of machine tool and cutting tool on the machining errors. However, few researches focus on compensating machining errors through the fixture. In order to improve the machining accuracy of thin plate-shape part in face milling, this paper presents a novel method for compensating the surface errors by prebending the workpiece during the milling process. First, a machining error prediction model using finite element method is formulated, which simplifies the contacts between the workpiece and fixture with spring constraints. Milling forces calculated by the micro-unit cutting force model are loaded on the error prediction model to predict the machining error. The error prediction results are substituted into the given formulas to obtain the prebending clamping forces and clamping positions. Consequently, the workpiece is prebent in terms of the calculated clamping forces and positions during the face milling operation to reduce the machining error. Finally, simulation and experimental tests are carried out to validate the correctness and efficiency of the proposed error compensation method. The experimental measured flatness results show that the flatness improves by approximately 30 percent through this error compensation method. 5Aerodynamic performance enhancement forflapping airfoils by co-flow jet显示文摘Introducing active flow control into the design of flapping wing is an effective way to enhance its aerodynamic performance.In this paper,a novel active flow control technology called Co-Flow Jet(CFJ)is applied to flapping airfoils.The effect of CFJ on aerodynamic performance of flapping airfoils at low Reynolds number is numerically investigated using Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS)simulation with Spalart-Allmaras(SA)turbulence model.Numerical methods are validated by a NACA6415-based CFJ airfoil case and a S809 pitching airfoil case.Then NACA6415 baseline airfoil and NACA6415-based CFJ airfoil with jet-off and jet-on are simulated in flapping motion,with Reynolds number 70,000 and reduced frequency 0.2.As a result,CFJ airfoils with jet-on generally have better lift and thrust characteristics than baseline airfoils and jet-off airfoil when Cμgreater than 0.04,which results from the CFJ effect of reducing flow separation by injecting high-energy fluid into boundary layer.Besides,typical kinematic and geometric parameters,including the reduced frequency and the positions of the suction and injection slot,are systematically studied to figure out their influence on aerodynamic performance of the CFJ airfoil.And a variable Cμjet control strategy is proposed to further improve effective propulsive efficiency.Compared with using constant Cμ,an increase of effective propulsive efficiency by22.6%has been achieved by using prescribed variable CμNACA6415-based CFJ airfoil at frequency 0.2.This study may provide some guidance to performance enhancement for Flapping wing Micro Air Vehicles(FMAV).Tao WU Bifeng SONG Wenping SONG Wenqing YANG Zhonghua HAN 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,10:7
6A transition prediction method for flow over airfoils based on high-order dynamic mode decomposition显示文摘This article presents a novel approach for predicting transition locations over airfoils,which are used to activate turbulence model in a Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes flow solver.This approach combines Dynamic Mode Decomposition(DMD)with e^Ncriterion.The core idea is to use a spatial DMD analysis to extract the modes of unstable perturbations from a steady flowfield and substitute the local Linear Stability Theory(LST)analysis to quantify the spatial growth of Tollmien–Schlichting(TS)waves.Transition is assumed to take place at the stream-wise location where the most amplified mode’s N-factor reaches a prescribed threshold and a turbulence model is activated thereafter.To improve robustness,the high-order version of DMD technique(known as HODMD)is employed.A theoretical derivation is conducted to interpret how a spatial highorder DMD analysis can extract the growth rate of the unsteady perturbations.The new method is validated by transition predictions of flows over a low-speed Natural-Laminar-Flow(NLF)airfoil NLF0416 at various angles of attack and a transonic NLF airfoil NPU-LSC-72613.The transition locations predicted by our HODMD/e^Nmethod agree well with experimental data and compare favorably to those obtained by some existing methods■.It is shown that the proposed method is able to predict transition locations for flows over different types of airfoils and offers the potential for application to 3D wings as well as more complex configurations.Mengmeng WU Zhonghua HAN Han NIE Wenping SONG Soledad Le CLAINCHE Esteban FERRER 2019Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2019,32,11:7
7Nonselective etching of GaN/AlGaN heterostructures by Cl2/Ar/BCl3 inductively coupled plasmas显示文摘A systematic study of the nonselective and smooth etching of GaN/AIGaN het-erostructures was performed using C12/Ar/BCI3 inductively coupled plasmas (ICR).Nonselective etching can be realized by adjusting the BCI3 ratio in the Cl2/Ar/BCI3 mixture (20%—60%), increasing the ICR power and dc bias, and decreasing the chamber pressure. Surface morphology of the etched heterostructures strongly depends on the gas chemistry and the chamber pressure. Specifically, with the addition of 20% BCI3 to Cl2/Ar (4:1) gas mixture, nonselective etching of GaN/Al0.28Ga0.72N heterostructures at high etch rate is maintained and the surface root-mean-square (rms) roughness is reduced from 10.622 to 0.495 nm, which is smoother than the as-grown sample. 9CMTM4 inhibits cell proliferation and migration via AKT, ERK1/2,and STAT3 pathway in colorectal cancer显示文摘CMTM4(CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain containing 4),a potential tumor suppressor gene,is involved in several types of malignancies.It has been reported to be downregulated and exhibit anti-tumorigenic activities by regulating cell growth and cell cycle in clear cell renal cell carcinoma.It has also been identified as a tumor suppressor in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and its negative expression is a risk factor for poor prognosis of HCC patients.In the present study,an integrated bioinformatics analysis based on The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)database showed that CMTM4 was frequently reduced in colorectal cancer(CRC)and high expression of CMTM4 was associated with increased overall survival rates.Based on these findings,we adopted gain-of-function and lost-of-function strategies using SW480 and HT29 CRC cell lines which have relatively low and high endogenous CMTM4 levels,respectively.We observed impeded cell proliferation and migration upon overexpression of CMTM4 in SW480 cells,and the opposite effects were observed upon knockdown of CMTM4 in HT-29 cells.Cell signaling pathways essential for CRC progression were then examined,and the phosphorylation levels of AKT,ERK1/2,and STAT3 were found to be decreased by CMTM4 overexpression in SW480 cells and elevated by CMTM4 silencing in HT29 cells.Their inhibitors were used to validate that the three signaling pathways contributed to the inhibitory effects of CMTM4 on CRC cells.Taken together,our results suggest that CMTM4 plays a tumor suppressive role in CRC.Hui Xue Ting Li Pingzhang Wang Xiaoning Mo Hejun Zhang Shigang Ding Dalong Ma Wenping Lv Jing Zhang Wenling Han 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,9:5
10Far-field sonic boom prediction considering atmospheric turbulence effects: An improved approach显示文摘Accurate prediction of sonic boom is one of key challenges for the design of a low-boom supersonic aircraft. For most of available far-field prediction methods, the effect of atmospheric turbulence appearing in the planetary boundary layer cannot be considered, which results in remarkable inaccuracy of predicting ground-level sonic boom waveform. Although some efforts have been made to overcome the shortcoming, the turbulence effects are not yet well described so far. This article proposes an improved method by extending the two-dimensional Heterogeneous One-Way Approximation for the Resolution of Diffraction(HOWARD) equation to account for the axial and transverse convections of wind fluctuation as well as the effect of temperature fluctuation. The proposed method is validated by comparing the predictions with the flight-test data of JAXA D-SEND#1 LBM, which shows that the result of the proposed method is in better agreement with the flight-test data than that of the method without considering atmospheric turbulence effects.Then, distortion mechanism of sonic boom waveforms caused by atmospheric turbulence is analyzed by using the proposed method. It is indicated that the effect of turbulent convection makes uniform sonic-boom wavefronts irregular, which creates the condition of diffraction effect to perturb waveforms. Finally, the proposed method is applied to investigate the behavior of two types of waveforms given by the sonic boom minimization theory. 11Ultrathin Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate nanosheets natively anchored on CNTs films for flexible lithium ion batteries显示文摘The rapid development of portable and wearable electronics has called for novel flexible electrodes with superior performance.The development of flexible electrode materials with excellent mechanical and electrochemical properties has become one of the key factors for this goal.Here,a Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate@CNTs film is developed as a flexible anode for lithium ion batteries(LIBs).On this film,Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate nanosheets are firmly and intimately anchored on the surface of CNTs,which have a 3D network structure and link the adjacent nanosheets together.Benefitted from this,the composite film is not only sufficient to withstand various deformations due to its excellent flexibility but also has excellent electrochemical properties,in terms of high reversible capacity of 1047 mAh g^(-1) at 0.1 A g^(-1) as well as a high rate and cycling performance(capacity retention up to 78.13% after 140 cycles).The pouch-type full flexible LIB using this material can stably operate under various bending conditions,showing the great potential of this 3 D Ni_(x)Co_(y)-silicate@CNTs film for flexible energy storage devices with high durability.Wenlei Guo Wenping Si Tao Zhang Yonghuan Han Lei Wang Ziyue Zhou Pengyi Lu Feng Hou Ji Liang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:2

16A novel high-order scheme for numerical simulation of wake flow over helicopter rotors in hover显示文摘Accurate prediction of tip vortices is crucial for predicting the hovering performance of a helicopter rotor.A new high-order scheme(we call it WENO-K)proposed by our research group is employed to minimize numerical dissipation and extended to numerical simulation of unsteady compressible viscous flows dominated by tip vortices over hovering rotors.WENO-K is referred to as an adaptively optimized WENO scheme with Gauss-Kriging reconstruction,and its advantage is to reduce dissipation in smooth regions of flow while preserving high-resolution around discontinuities.Here WENO-K scheme is adopted to reconstruct left and right state values within the Roe Riemann solver updating the inviscid fluxes on a structured dynamic overset grid.To minimize the accuracy loss for high-order reconstruction on artificial boundaries of overset grid,a method of multilayer fringes is proposed to carry out interpolation between background grid and blade grid.Massively parallel computing considering automatic load balance on averagely partitioned overset grid is developed to reduce the wall-clock time of an unsteady simulation.Numerical results for Caradonna-Tung(C-T)rotor in hover at the conditions of subsonic and transonic tip Mach numbers show that the thrust coefficient error for the result of WENO-K scheme is no more than 3%.Compared with WENO-JS scheme,WENO-K scheme achieves about 40%improvement on accuracy of predicting rotor thrust with only 4.1%extra computational cost.More importantly,WENO-K scheme can capture more sophisticated unsteady flow structures and resolve tip vortices to a larger wake age with an increment of about 270°compared to WENO-JS scheme.Shaoqiang HAN Wenping SONG Zhonghua HAN 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,5:1
17Effect of longitudinal lift distribution on sonic boom of a canard-wing-stabilator-body configuration显示文摘After the last flight of the Concorde in 2003,sonic boom has been one of the obstacles to the return of a supersonic transport aircraft to service.To reduce the sonic boom intensity to an acceptable level,it is of great significance to study the effect of lift distribution on far-field sonic boom,since lift is one of the most important contributors to an intense sonic boom.Existing studies on the longitudinal lift distribution used low-fidelity methods,such as Whitham theory,and in turn,only preliminary conclusions were obtained,such as that extending the lift distribution can reduce sonic boom.This paper uses a newly developed high-fidelity prediction method to quantitatively study the effect of longitudinal lift distribution on the sonic boom of a Canard-Wing-Stabilator-Body(CWSB)configuration.This high-fidelity prediction method combines near-feld CFD simulation with far-field propagation by solving the augmented Burgers equation.A multipole analysis method is employed for the extraction of near-field waveform in order to reduce computational cost.Seven configurations with the same total lift but different distributions are studied,and the quantitative relationship between the longitudinal lift distribution and far-field sonic boom intensity is investigated.It is observed that a small lift generated by the stabilator can prevent aft-stabilator and aft-fuselage shocks from merging,while the balanced lift generated by the canard and wing can effectively keep the corresponding shocks further apart,which is beneficial for reducing both the on-track and off-track sonic boom.In turn,the acoustic level perceived at the ground can be reduced by 5.9 PLdB on-track and 5.4 PLdB off-track,on average.Liwen ZHANG Zhonghua HAN Jianling QIAO Wenping SONG Yulin DING Xuehe WANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,6:1
18Efficacy of contrast-enhanced ultrasound-guided percutaneous core needle biopsy in anterior mediastinal masses显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of percutaneous core needle biopsy(PCNB)using ultrasound(US)-guided and contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)-guided procedures for anterior mediastinal masses(AMMs).Methods:In total,284 consecutive patients(166 men,118 women;mean age,43.0±18.4 years)who underwent PCNB for AMMs were enrolled.Patients were divided into the US-guided group(n=133)and the CEUS-guided group(n=151).PCNB was performed using a core needle(16-gauge or 18-gauge).Internal necrosis,diagnostic yield,and diagnostic accuracy were compared between the two groups.Results:The predominant final diagnosis of the cases in this study was thymoma(29.7%),lymphoma(20.5%),thymic carcinoma(13.3%),and germ cell tumour(13.3%),respectively.There was no significant difference in patient age,sex,number of percutaneous biopsies,or display rate of internal necrosis on conventional US between the two groups.The rate of internal necrosis of the lesions was significantly higher after contrast agent injection(72.2%vs.41.7%;P<0.001).The CEUS-guided group had a higher diagnostic yield than the US-guided group(100%vs.89.5%,P<0.001).There was no significant difference between the diagnostic accuracy of the CEUSguided and US-guided groups(97.3%vs.97.4%;P=1.000).None of the patients experienced adverse reactions or complications after US-guided or CEUS-guided PCNB.Conclusions:CEUS-guided PCNB can improve the diagnostic yield by optimizing the biopsy procedure.Peili Fan Jiaying Cao Yunjie Jin Hong Han Wenping Wang Huixiong Xu Zhengbiao Ji 2022Journal of Interventional Medicine2022,5,3:1
19Worldwide impacts of atmospheric vapor pressure deficit on the interannual variability of terrestrial carbon sinks显示文摘Interannual variability of the terrestrial ecosystem carbon sink is substantially regulated by various environmental variables and highly dominates the interannual variation of atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2))concentrations.Thus,it is necessary to determine dominating factors affecting the interannual variability of the carbon sink to improve our capability of predicting future terrestrial carbon sinks.Using global datasets derived from machine-learning methods and process-based ecosystem models,this study reveals that the inter annual variability of the atmospheric vapor pressure deficit(VPD)was significantly negatively correlated with net ecosystem production(NEP)and substantially impacted the inter annual variability of the atmospheric CO_(2)growth rate(CGR).Further analyses found widespread constraints of VPD interannual variability on terrestrial gross primary production(GPP),causing VPD to impact NEP and CGR.Partial correlation analysis confirms the persistent and widespread impacts of VPD on terrestrial carbon sinks compared to other environmental variables.Current Earth system models underestimate the interannual variability in VPD and its impacts on GPP and NEP.Our results highlight the importance of VPD for terrestrial carbon sinks in assessing ecosystems'responses to future climate conditions.Bin He Chen Chen Shangrong Lin Wenping Yuan Hans WChen Deliang Chen Yafeng Zhang Lanlan Guo Xiang Zhao Xuebang Liu Shilong Piao Ziqian Zhong Rui Wang Rui Tang 2022National Science Review2022,9,4:1
