| 2 | Effect of electromagnetic stirring on the microstructure and wear behavior of iron-based composite coatings显示文摘The effect of electromagnetic stirring on the microstructure and wear behavior of coatings has been investigated. A series of iron-based coatings were fabricated by the plasma-transferred arc cladding process by applying different magnetic field currents. The microstructure and wear resistance of the composite coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and wet sand rubber wheel abrasion tester. The experimental re- sults showed that the microstructure of the coatings was mainly the γ-Fe matrix and (Cr, Fe)7C3 carbide reinforced phase. The coatings were metallurgically bonded to the substrate. With increasing magnetic field current, the amount of the block-like (Cr, Fe)7C3 carbide reinforced phase increased at first, reached a local maximum, and then decreased sharply. | 3 | Investigation on High Power Diode Laser Cladding of Ni-Fe-Cr Based Alloy Coatings显示文摘Appropriate laser cladding processing parameters for a Ni-Fe-Cr based alloy coating with good quality were studied using 3.5 kW diode laser.The characterization of the coating was investigated,and the influence of each parameter was analyzed.The mechanical properties and wear resistance of the coating were compared with the corresponding chemical composition wrought and cast materials.The results showed that a coating with aspect ratio about 3,dilution ratio 8%-10%and wetting angle 35o-50°could be formed with the laser power 1200-1500 W,travelling speed 8-10 mm/s,powder feed rate 16-18 g/min and shield gas flow 15 l/min.The tensile strength of the coating reached 953 MPa which was higher than that of wrought material 918 MPa and cast material 830 MPa.The microhardness of multi-layer coating was higher than that of single layer coating.The wear resistance of the coating was at the same level with the wrought and cast materials. | Zhang Yaocheng Jian, Huang Nie Pulin Liu Honggang Li Zhuguo Wu Yixiong | 2012 | 稀有金属材料与工程2012,41,S1: | 2 |
| 4 | Microstructure and Wear Behavior of FeBSiNbCr Metallic Glass Coatings显示文摘In this paper,FeBSiNbCr metallic glass coatings were prepared onto AISI 1045 steel substrate by using wire arc spraying process.The phase and structure of the coating were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning election microscopy(SEM)equipped with energy dispersive X-ray analysis(EDX).The microstructure of the coating consists of full amorphous phase.The coating has high hardness and low porosity.Full density and little oxides are detected in the coating.The mechanical properties,especially wear resistance,were investigated.The relationship between wear behavior and structure of the coatings were analyzed in detail.The main failure mechanism of the metallic glass coating is brittle breaking and fracture.The results indicate that FeBSiNbCr metallic glass coating has excellent resistance to abrasive wear. | Jiangbo Cheng Xiubing Liang Binshi Xu Yixiong Wu | 2009 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,5: | 2 |

The high temperature erosion, wear and corrosion resistance of the coatings were investigated. The coating properties such as bonding strength,porosity, hardness as well as microstructures were characterized. The results show that the coatings have relatively high heat tremble bond strength, hardness, and typical layer-shaped coatings' microstructures. With the rise of temperature, the coating erosion resistance increases too; the impingement angel does effects on erosion properties, and the erosion mechanism changes from ductile to brittle behaviors at 450℃. The coatings have good room temperature wear resistance and relatively good high temperature resistance.The wear mechanism of the coatings is peeling wear behavior.
