1Anti-inflammatory activity of curcumin-loaded tetrahedral framework nucleic acids on acute gouty arthritis显示文摘Gouty arthritis is a very familiar inflammatory arthritis.Controlling inflammation is the key to preventing gouty arthritis.However,colchicine,the most highly represented drug used in clinical practice,has strict contraindications owing to some severe side effects.Curcumin(Cur),a natural anti-inflammatory drug,has demonstrated good safety and efficacy.However,the rapid degradation,poor aqueous solubility,and low bioavailability of Cur limit its therapeutic effect.To strengthen the effectiveness and bioavailability of Cur.Cur loaded tetrahedral framework nucleic acids(Cur-TFNAs)were synthesized to deliver Cur.Compared with free Cur,Cur-TFNAs exhibit a preferable drug stability,good biocompatibility(CCK-8 assay),ease of uptake(immunofluorescence),and higher tissue utilization(in vivo biodistribution).Most importantly,Cur-TFNAs present better anti-inflammatory effect than free Cur both in vivo and in vitro experiments through the determination of inflammation-related cytokines expression.Therefore,we believe that Cur-TFNAs have great prospects for the prevention of gout and similar inflammatory diseases.Mei Zhang Xiaolin Zhang Taoran Tian Qi Zhang Yuting Wen Junyao Zhu Dexuan Xiao Weitong Cui Yunfeng Lin 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,2:10
2Aeroelastic optimization design for wing with maneuver load uncertainties显示文摘An aeroelastic optimization design methodology for air vehicle considering the uncertainties in maneuver load conditions is presented and applied to a structural design process of low-aspect-ratio wing. An aerodynamic load correction model is developed and used to predict the critical load conditions with the perturbations of theoretical linear aerodynamic forces and experimental aerodynamic forces from wind-tunnel test, when concerning the uncertainties in use of theoretical linear and experimental aerodynamic forces. Three objective functions of critical loads are defined. The load evaluations for three wing sections are investigated in four characteristic maneuvers, and the most critical load conditions are confirmed by using the sequential quadratic programming method. On this basis, the aeroelastic optimization design employing the genetic-gradient hybrid algorithm is conducted, in which the objective is to minimize structural mass subject to the constraints of stress, deformation and flutter speed. The resulting optimal structure is heavier than the one simply based on the theoretical linear or experimental aerodynamic forces. 4Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery in urology: The Chinese experience显示文摘Objective:To describe the Chinese experience of natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery(NOTES)in urology.Methods:From December 2008 to May 2017,35 animal experiments and 305 clinical surgeries of NOTES or natural orifices specimen extractions(NOSE)were performed in China.The animal experiments included five kidney biopsies,24 nephrectomies and six partial nephrectomies.The clinical surgeries included 12 transvaginal NOSE(TV-NOSE),266 hybrid transvaginal NOTES(TV-NOTES)and 27 pure TV-NOTES.The TV-NOSE procedure was performed in five transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site(U-LESS)nephrectomies,four suprapubic-assisted laparoendoscopic single-site surgery(SA-LESS)nephroureterectomies,and three laparoscopic radical cystectomies.The hybrid TV-NOTES procedure included 210 nephrectomies,31 adrenalectomies,eight nephroureterectomies,13 partial nephrectomies,and four heminephrectomies.The pure TV-NOTES procedure included five renal cyst decortications and 22 nephrectomies.Results:A total of 29 animal experiments were successfully performed.One partial nephrectomy was converted to standard laparoscopic surgery.Two kidney biopsies and two nephrectomies were unsuccessful.A total of 297 clinical surgeries were successfully performed.Six patients who underwent hybrid TV-NOTES were converted to open surgery.Two patients who underwent pure TV-NOTES were converted to SA-LESS.There were 22 major complications,16 occurred intraoperatively and six postoperatively.The mean visual analog score(VAS)of 48 h after the operation was 2.5 points in TV-NOSE,2.3 points in hybrid TV-NOTES and 1.7 points in pure TV-NOTES.The mean follow-up of 50.6(3.0-87.0)months showed that all patients were in good condition.The umbilicus scars were nearly invisible in TV-NOSE and hybrid TV-NOTES.The vaginal incision healed well.Conclusions:TV-NOSE and TV-NOTES are feasible,safe,and effective with little injury,low pain,fast recovery,and good cosmetic outcomes in properly selected patients.They are worth consideration for urological clinical practice.Xiaofeng Zou Guoxi Zhang Tianpeng Xie Yuanhu Yuan Rihai Xiao Gengqing Wu Xiaoning Wang Hui Xu Folin Liu Yuting Wu Yunfeng Liao Quanliang Liu Yinghao Sun Bo Yang Linhui Wang Chuanliang Xu Xiaofeng Gao 2020Asian Journal of Urology2020,7,1:5

7Vesicle-shaped ZIF-8 shell shielded in 3D carbon cloth for uniform nucleation and growth towards long-life lithium metal anode显示文摘Lithium metal has aroused extensive research interests as the anode for next-generation rechargeable batteries.However,the well-known dendritic Li growth and consequent safety issues still impair the long-term cycling performance.Herein,a hybrid structure composed of 3 D carbon cloth and vesicleshaped hollow ZIF-8 modification shell(HZS@CC)was prepared as a smart host for guiding uniform Li deposition.The long-range interconnected 3 D carbon fiber network enables the reduced local current density with homogeneous electrons distribution.Synergistically,abundant surface polar groups and the ultrastructure on ZIF-8 particles effectively guide a well-distributed Li-ions flow to promote the uniform Li nucleation and growth.As a result,stable Li plating/stripping for 2000 h with a low overpotential(≈15 mV)at 1 mA cm^(-2) were achieved in symmetric cells.Coupling with LiFePO_(4) cathode,the full cell delivered long life over 1200 cycles at 6 C.This research demonstrated that a homogenization guiding of Li-ions is of great importance to better make use of the structural advantage of 3 D hosts and achieve improved electrochemical performance.Yuting Fang Wenlong Cai Shanshan Zhu Kangli Xu Maogen Zhu Guannan Xiao Yongchun Zhu 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:2
8Enhanced thermoelectric performance in Cl-doped BiSbSe_(3) with optimal carrier concentration and effective mass显示文摘Possessing inherently low thermal conductivity,BiSbSe_(3) is a promising thermoelectric material for medium temperature.Therefore,to substantially optimize the thermoelectric performance of BiSbSe_(3),researchers mainly focus on the strategies to improve its electrical transport properties.Among these strongly coupled thermoelectric parameters,carrier concentration and effective mass are two intrinsic variables to decisively affect the electrical transport properties.In this work,Cl as a donor dopant is effective to provide extra electrons in n-type BiSbSe_(3),and the carrier concentration and effective mass can be well optimized simultaneously with increasing Cl content owing to the multiple conduction bands in BiSbSe_(3).What’s more,maximum weighted mobility~53 cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1)is obtained in Cl-doped BiSbSe_(3),which contributes to a largely enhanced power factor~4.8μW cm^(-1)K^(-2)at room temperature and outperforms other halogen-doped BiSbSe_(3) samples.Finally,combining the significantly enhanced power factor and maintained low thermal conductivity,a maximum ZT~1.0 is achieved in Cl-doped BiSbSe_(3) at 800 K.Sining Wang Lizhong Su Yuting Qiu Yu Xiao Li-Dong Zhao 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,11:2
9Realizing ranged performance in SnTe through integrating bands convergence and DOS distortion显示文摘As a typical IV-VI compound,SnTe has aroused widely attentions in the thermoelectric community due its similar crystal and band structures with PbTe.However,both the large number of inherent Sn vacancies and high thermal conductivity result in inferior thermoelectric performance in intrinsic SnTe over a broad temperature.In this work,we successfully improved those disadvantages of SnTe via stepwisely Pb heavily alloying and then In doping.A significantly wide fraction of Pb into SnTe(0-50%)achieves multiple effects:(a)the carrier concentration of SnTe is reduced through decreasing Sn vacancies via alloying high solution Pb atoms in the matrix;(b)the band structure is optimized through promoting the convergence of the two valence bands,simultaneously enhancing the Seebeck coefficient;(c)HAADF-STEM coupled with EDS results illustrate that guest Pb atoms randomly and uniformly occupied Sn atomic sites in the matrix,concurrently strengthening the phonon scattering.Furthermore,we introduced indium into Sn_(0.6)Pb_(0.4)Te system to create resonant states further enlarging the power factors at low-medium temperature.The integration of bands convergence and DOS distortion achieves a considerably high ZT_(ave) of~0.67 over the wide temperature range of 300-823 K in(Sn_(0.6)Pb_(0.4))_(0.995)In_(0.005)Te sample.Huimei Pang Xiuxiu Zhang Dongyang Wang Rong Huang Zhenzhong Yang Xiao Zhang Yuting Qiu Li-Dong Zhao 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,1:2

11Arsenic trioxide elicits prophylactic and therapeutic immune responses against solid tumors by inducing necroptosis and ferroptosis显示文摘Boosting tumor immunosurveillance with vaccines has been proven to be a feasible and cost-effective strategy to fight cancer. Although major breakthroughs have been achieved in preventative tumor vaccines targeting oncogenic viruses, limited advances have been made in curative vaccines for virus-irrelevant malignancies. Accumulating evidence suggests that preconditioning tumor cells with certain cytotoxic drugs can generate whole-cell tumor vaccines with strong prophylactic activities. However, the immunogenicity of these vaccines is not sufficient to restrain the outgrowth of existing tumors. In this study, we identified arsenic trioxide (ATO) as a wide-spectrum cytotoxic and highly immunogenic drug through multiparameter screening. ATO preconditioning could generate whole-cell tumor vaccines with potent antineoplastic effects in both prophylactic and therapeutic settings. The tumor-preventive or tumor-suppressive benefits of these vaccines relied on CD8^(+) T cells and type I and II interferon signaling and could be linked to the release of immunostimulatory danger molecules. Unexpectedly, following ATO-induced oxidative stress, multiple cell death pathways were activated, including autophagy, apoptosis, necroptosis, and ferroptosis. CRISPR‒Cas9-mediated knockout of cell death executors revealed that the absence of Rip3, Mlkl, or Acsl4 largely abolished the efficacy of ATO-based prophylactic and therapeutic cancer vaccines. This therapeutic failure could be rescued by coadministration of danger molecule analogs. 12An efficient chemical reduction-induced assembly of Fe_(3)O_(4)@graphene fiber for wire-shaped supercapacitors with ultrahigh volumetric energy density显示文摘Benefiting from high flexibility and weavability,the wire-shaped supercapacitors(SCs)arouse tremendous interests for the applications in wearable/portable electronics.Graphene fiber(GF)is considered as a promising linear electrode for wire-shaped SCs.However,the bottleneck is how to develop the GF-based linear electrode with facile fabrication process while wellmaintaining satisfactory electrochemical performance.Herein,a novel Fe_(3)O_(4)@GF composite linear electrode is proposed via a chemical reduction-induced assembly approach,in which the GO and Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles(NPs)realize the efficient selfassembly owing to the electrostatic and van der Waals interactions,as well as the sufficient reduction of GO during the preparation process.The resultant fiber-shaped architecture shows boosted charge-transfer kinetics,high flexibility and structural integrity.Such Fe_(3)O_(4)@GF linear electrode exhibits excellent electrochemical behaviors including a large volumetric specific capacitance(~250.75 F cm^(−3)),remarkable rate capability and favorable electrochemical kinetics in aqueous electrolyte,superior than previously reported GF-based linear electrodes.For real application,a high-performance wire-shaped SC with excellent flexibility and weavability is fabricated based on such Fe_(3)O_(4)@GF linear electrode and gel electrolyte,demonstrating ultrahigh volumetric energy density(18.8 mWh cm^(−3)),power density(4000 mW cm^(−3))and strong durability(~93.5%retention after 10000 cycles).Prospectively,the fabricated wire-shaped SC can maintain reliable electrochemical behaviors in various deformation states,showing its potentials in future portable and wearable devices.XIAO Peng SHI MinJie XU Li TAO FengBo LI Yu ZHU HangTian LIU YuTing LI ZhiMin ZHOU YunPeng FENG Wei 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,10:1
13Transport Patterns and Potential Sources of Atmospheric Pollution during the ⅩⅩⅣ Olympic Winter Games Period显示文摘The attainment of suitable ambient air quality standards is a matter of great concern for successfully hosting the ⅩⅩⅣ Olympic Winter Games(OWG). Transport patterns and potential sources of pollutants in Zhangjiakou(ZJK) were investigated using pollutant monitoring datasets and a dispersion model. The PM_(2.5) concentration during February in ZJK has increased slightly(28%) from 2018 to 2021, mostly owing to the shift of main potential source regions of west-central Inner Mongolia and Mongolian areas(2015–18) to the North China Plain and northern Shanxi Province(NCPS) after 2018.Using CO as an indicator, the relative contributions of the different regions to the receptor site(ZJK) were evaluated based on the source-receptor-relationship method(SRR) and an emission inventory. We found that the relative contribution of pollutants from NCPS increased from 33% to 68% during 2019–21. Central Inner Mongolia(CIM) also has an important impact on ZJK under unfavorable weather conditions. 14Self-assembled all-inclusive organic-inorganic nanoparticles enable cascade reaction for the detection of glucose显示文摘Traditional colorimetric glucose biosensor generally involves complex assay procedures.Free labile enzymes and peroxidase substrates are used separately for triggering a chromogenic reaction.These limits result in inferior enzyme stability and defective enzymatic catalytic efficiency,making it hard to routinely utilize them for the direct and fast test of glucose.In this work,we provide an all-inclusive substrates/enzymes nanoparticle employed 3,3’5,5’-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB) as chromogenic substrates and glucose oxidase(GOx)/horseradish peroxidase(HRP) as signal amplifier enzymes(TMB-GH NPs) by the molecule self-assembly technique.The 'all-inclusive' nanoparticles can realize the tandem colorimetric reactions,and the oxidation product of TMB(ox-TMB) exhibits a strong NIR laserdrive n photothermal effect,thus allowing qua ntitative photothermal detection of glucose.Owing to the restriction of the molecular motion of GOx,HRP,and TMB,the distance of mass transfer between substrates was s hortened largely,leading to improved catalytic activity for glucose.Overall,our strategy will simplify the analysis procedure,furthermore,these integrated nanoparticles not only display higher stability and activity than that of the free GOx/HRP system and possesses an excellent performance for colorimetric and photothermal bioassay of glucose simultaneously.We believe that this unique technique will give good inspirations to develop simple and precise methods for bioassay.Ximei Sun Yan Li Qian Yang Yunwei Xiao Yuting Zeng Jindi Gong Ziyu Wang Xiaofeng Tan He Li 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,5:1
15Improved spatiotemporal resolution of anti-scattering super-resolution label-free microscopy via synthetic wave 3D metalens imaging显示文摘Super-resolution(SR)microscopy has dramatically enhanced our understanding of biological processes.However,scattering media in thick specimens severely limits the spatial resolution,often rendering the images unclear or indistinguishable.Additionally,live-cell imaging faces challenges in achieving high temporal resolution for fast-moving subcellular structures.Here,we present the principles of a synthetic wave microscopy(SWM)to extract three-dimensional information from thick unlabeled specimens,where photobleaching and phototoxicity are avoided.SWM exploits multiple-wave interferometry to reveal the specimen’s phase information in the area of interest,which is not affected by the scattering media in the optical path.SWM achieves~0.42λ/NA resolution at an imaging speed of up to 106 pixels/s.SWM proves better temporal resolution and sensitivity than the most conventional microscopes currently available while maintaining exceptional SR and anti-scattering capabilities.Penetrating through the scattering media is challenging for conventional imaging techniques.Remarkably,SWM retains its efficacy even in conditions of low signal-to-noise ratios.It facilitates the visualization of dynamic subcellular structures in live cells,encompassing tubular endoplasmic reticulum(ER),lipid droplets,mitochondria,and lysosomes.Yuting Xiao Lianwei Chen Mingbo Pu Mingfeng Xu Qi Zhang Yinghui Guo Tianqu Chen Xiangang Luo 2023Opto-Electronic Science2023,2,11:1
16USP7 deubiquitinates and stabilizes NOTCH1 in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia显示文摘T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia(T-ALL)is a highly aggressive leukemia that is primarily caused by aberrant activation of the NOTCH1 signaling pathway.Recent studies have revealed that posttranslational modifications,such as ubiquitination,regulate NOTCH1 stability,activity,and localization.However,the specific deubiquitinase that affects NOTCH1 protein stability remains unestablished.Here,we report that ubiquitin-specific protease 7(USP7)can stabilize NOTCH1.USP7 deubiquitinated NOTCH1 in vivo and in vitro,whereas knockdown of USP7 increased the ubiquitination of NOTCH1.USP7 interacted with NOTCH1 protein in T-ALL cells,and the MATH and UBL domains of USP7 were responsible for this interaction.Depletion of USP7 significantly suppressed the proliferation of T-ALL cells in vitro and in vivo,accompanied by downregulation of the NOTCH1 protein level.Similarly,pharmacologic inhibition of USP7 led to apoptosis of T-ALL cells.More importantly,we found that USP7 was significantly upregulated in human T-ALL cell lines and patient samples,and a USP7 inhibitor exhibited cell cytotoxicity toward primary T-ALL cells,indicating the clinical relevance of these findings.Overall,our results demonstrate that USP7 is a novel deubiquitinase that stabilizes NOTCH1.Therefore,USP7 may be a promising therapeutic target in the currently incurable T-ALL.Huizhuang Shan Xiangyun Li Xinhua Xiao Yuting Dai Jinyan Huang Junjun Song Meng Liu Li Yang Hu Lei Yin Tong Li Zhou Hanzhang Xu Yingli Wu 2018Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2018,3,1:0

18温带草原生态系统土壤原核生物特征对自然水分梯度的响应显示文摘土壤水分是影响生态系统功能的重要因素,其不仅可以维持微生物的活性,还可以通过改变植被多样性,控制土壤养分的扩散和运输,最终改变微生物群落。为探索土壤含水量对土壤原核生物群落的影响,本研究在中国内蒙古呼伦湖南岸的草原生态系统中建立了一个覆盖自然土壤水分梯度的研究区域,并将其细分为高含水量(4.80%±1.18%)、中含水量(2.17%±0.09%)和低含水量(1.85%±0.14%)三个梯度。环境因子是通过实地调查和实验室分析获得的。土壤原核生物是通过高通量测序技术测定的。植被特征和土壤理化性质对原核生物丰富度多样性有显著影响,其中土壤含水量是最重要的影响因素。在中含水量梯度中,差异原核生物的数量最少,且门水平原核微生物的多样性和相对丰度最高。这表明中含水量梯度下的原核生物群落的内在变异较小,整体活性较高。此外,高含水量和低含水量梯度的原核生物多样性和门水平相对丰度较低。表型预测结果表明,这两组条件下的原核微生物群落具有更强的耐受性。总之,原核生物群落对呼伦湖南岸草地生态系统的自然水分梯度有明显响应,土壤水分过高或过低都会增加原核生物的抗逆性。Xin Chen Yujue Wang Yuting Shen Weiguo Sang Nengwen Xiao Chunwang Xiao 2023Journal of Plant Ecology2023,16,6:0

20New insights into the formation of ammonium nitrate from a physical and chemical level perspective显示文摘High levels of fine particulate matter(PM_(2.5))is linked to poor air quality and premature deaths,so haze pollution deserves the attention of the world.As abundant inorganic components in PM_(2.5),ammonium nitrate(NH_(4)NO_(3))formation includes two processes,the diffusion process(molecule of ammonia and nitric acid move from gas phase to liquid phase)and the ionization process(subsequent dissociation to form ions).In this study,we discuss the impact of meteorological factors,emission sources,and gaseous precursors on NH4NO3 formation based on thermodynamic theory,and identify the dominant factors during clean periods and haze periods.Results show that aerosol liquid water content has a more significant effect on ammonium nitrate formation regardless of the severity of pollution.The dust source is dominant emission source in clean periods;while a combination of coal combustion and vehicle exhaust sources is more important in haze periods.And the control of ammonia emission is more effective in reducing the formation of ammonium nitrate.The findings of this work inform the design of effective strategies to control particulate matter pollution.Yuting Wei Xiao Tian Junbo Huang Zaihua Wang Bo Huang Jinxing Liu Jie Gao Danni Liang Haofei Yu Yinchang Feng Guoliang Shi 2023Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,11:0
