4Microstructure and properties of novel Al-Ce-Sc,Al-Ce-Y,Al-Ce-Zr and Al-Ce-Sc-Y alloy conductors processed by die casting,hot extrusion and cold drawing显示文摘In order to overcome the trade-off between the strength and electrical conductivity of aluminum alloy conductors,the new Al-Ce-Sc,Al-Ce-Y,Al-Ce-Zr and Al-Ce-Sc-Y alloys were prepared by die casting,high temperature homogenization treatment,hot extrusion and cold drawing.Adding Sc and Y eliminated the dendrite segregation of the as-cast Al-0.2 Ce alloy and promoted the formation of equiaxed grains with the average grain size of 142.5μm.The Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy inherited the great tensile properties of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy and the high electrical conductivity of Al-0.2 Ce-0.1 Y alloy simultaneously.After cold drawing and annealing at 200℃for 5 h,the ultimate tensile strength of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy reached 200 MPa and 198 MPa,the elongation reached 6.8%and 8.5%,and the electrical conductivity reached 61.01%and 61.77%,respectively.The main second phase of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy after hot extrusion were Al_(13)Fe_3 Ce containing a few Y and Si atoms.The larger size and proportion of the second phase greatly reduced the concentration of solute Fe and Si atoms and the addition of Y significantly decreased the density of defects after cold drawing compared to Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy,which improved electrical conductivity of the alloy.Furthermore,the dispersed and coherent nano-size Al_3 Sc precipitions of Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy greatly improved strength,elongation and heat resistance.Compared with Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc alloy,the lower density of dislocation,stacking fault and subgrain boundary and the larger size of Al_3 Sc precipitions with enrichment of Y atoms enable the Al-0.2 Ce-0.2 Sc-0.1 Y alloy to maintain high strength,elongation and electrical conductivity after annealing.Weiyi Wang Qinglin Pan Geng Lin Xiaoping Wang Yuqiao Sun Xiangdong Wang Ji Ye Yuanwei Sun Yi Yu Fuqing Jiang Jun Li Yaru Liu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23:4

6Wheat breeding history reveals synergistic selection of pleiotropic genomic sites for plant architecture and grain yield显示文摘Diversity surveys of crop germplasm are important for gaining insights into the genomic basis for plant architecture and grain yield improvement,which is still poorly understood in wheat.In this study,we exome sequenced 287 wheat accessions that were collected in the past 100 years.Population genetics analysis identified that 6.7%of the wheat genome falls within the selective sweeps between landraces and cultivars,which harbors the genes known for yield improvement.These regions were asymmetrically distributed on the A and B subgenomes with regulatory genes being favorably selected.Genome-wide association study(GWAS)identified genomic loci associated with traits for yield potential,and two underlying genes,TaARF12 encoding an auxin response factor and TaDEP1 encoding the G-proteinγ-subunit,were located and characterized to pleiotropically regulate both plant height and grain weight.Elite single-nucleotide haplotypes with increased allele frequency in cultivars relative to the landraces were identified and found to have accumulated over the course of breeding.Interestingly,we found that TaARF12 and TaDEP1 function in epistasis with the classical plant height Rht-1 locus,leading to propose a“Green Revolution”-based working model for historical wheat breeding.Collectively,our study identifies selection signatures that fine-tune the gibberellin pathway during modern wheat breeding and provides a wealth of genomic diversity resources for the wheat research community.Aili Li Chenyang Hao Zhenyu Wang Shuaifeng Geng Meiling Jia Fang Wang Xiang Han Xingchen Kong Lingjie Yin Shu Tao Zhongyin Deng Ruyi Liao Guoliang Sun Ke Wang Xingguo Ye Chengzhi Jiao Hongfeng Lu Yun Zhou Dengcai Liu Xiangdong Fu Xueyong Zhang Long Mao 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,3:4
7Strong interface contact between NaYF_(4):Yb,Er and CdS promoting photocatalytic hydrogen evolution of NaYF_(4):Yb,Er/CdS composites显示文摘To acquire efficient photocatalysts,it is necessary to make effective use of visible light/Near Infrared(NIR)light,which takes up a large percentage of sunlight.Integrating upconversion materials with visible light active photocatalysts has attracted much attention in this regard.The interface contact between upcon-version material and photocatalyst has potential influence on the properties and thus the performance of the system.In this work,NaYF_(4):Yb,Er/CdS composites of the upconversion material NaYF_(4):Yb,Er nanorods and CdS nanoparticles were synthesized by ion adsorption/precipitation process and were then annealed in an argon atmosphere at different temperatures to modulate the microstructures.The annealing pro-cess endows the crystal transformation of cubic CdS with low crystallinity to hexagonal CdS with high crystallinity and,importantly,good interface contact between NaYF_(4):Yb,Er and CdS.Consequently,the hy-drogen evolution activity greatly increases from 171 to 2539μmol h^(−1) g^(−1) under the light irradiation ofλ>400 nm,and from 0 to 19μmol h^(−1) g^(−1) under the light irradiation ofλ>600 nm.This work might provide a useful reference for the rational design of promising photocatalyst involving upconversion ma-terials.Huaze Zhu Yongqiang Yang Yuyang Kang Ping Niu Xiangdong Kang Zhiqing Yang Hengqiang Ye Gang Liu 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,7:3
8A facile method to fabricate surfaces showing superhydrophilicity in air and superhydrophobicity in oil显示文摘The changes of the wettability of the solid surfaces have attracted massive attention due to their important practical implications in numerous fields. As a new subject, the research on the wettability under the different environments is still in its early stage. So the fundamental research must be performed for the practical applications under different environments. However, it is seldom that the comprehensive wettability of a surface in air, in water and in oil has been reported. In this paper, the authors investigated the wettability of the stainless steel mesh coated with polyurethane in the above three different environments. The surface of the uncoated mesh was found to be hydrophobic in air, but the surface of the coated mesh was superhydrophilic in air. More interestingly, the surfaces of the coated meshes were superoleophilic in water and superhydrophobic in oil. 11Analysis on virus resistance and fruit quality for T4 generation of transgenic papaya显示文摘Molecular biological characterization,fruit char-acters,and nutrients were analyzed for T4 generation of transgenic papaya.All transgenic papaya plants with the mutated replicase(RP)gene from papaya ringspot virus(PRSV)showed high resistance or immunity against PRSV in the field.The RP transgene can be steadily inherited to,and expressed at RNA level,the progenies.The growth char-acteristics of transgenic papaya were much better than non-transgenic papaya in the field.The non-transgenic papaya seedlings began to show typical symptoms caused by PRSV after being inoculated with PRSV.They died quickly and never grew to produce fruit.The adult trees developed yellow leaves and produced smaller fruits and were doomed to a slow death after some time,while most of transgenic papaya plants(about 91.8%)did not show any symptoms caused by PRSV,and produced more,bigger,and high quality fruits.Compared with non-transgenic plants,the fresh fruit length of T4 gen-eration of transgenic papaya increased 2.6%-5%,and the diameter decreased 0.6%-1.5%.The flesh thickness of fresh fruit increased 12%-15%,which made it fitter for eating.Although the fresh fruit quality changed,there was no sig-nificant difference between transgenic and non-transgenic papaya.The quality characteristics of dry fruit including the contents of water,lipid,N,protein,reduced sugar,vitamin A,vitamin C,and carotene in the T4 generation of transgenic papaya were all the same as their non-transgenic parents.This means that transgenic plants and non-transgenic plants are substantially equivalent,and the transgene has no effect on dry fruit quality.In this study,we found that vitamin A and vitamin C in red-fleshed papaya were 1.4-1.8 and 1.78-2.07 times more than the yellow-fleshed ones,respectively,while N and protein were only 84.2%-92.1%and 82.1%-98.9%of the yellow-fleshed ones.WEI Xiangdong LAN Congyu LU Zhijing YE Changming 2007Frontiers in Biology2007,2,3:1

16Mapping of de novo mutations in primary biliary cholangitis to a disease-specific co-expression network underlying homeostasis and metabolism显示文摘Primary biliary cholangitis(PBC) is an autoimmune disease involving dysregulation of a broad array of homeostatic and metabolic processes. Although considerable single-nucleotide polymorphisms have been unveiled, a large fraction of risk factors remains enigmatic. Candidate genes with rare mutations that tend to confer more deleterious effects need to be identified. To help pinpoint cellular and developmental mechanisms beyond common noncoding variants, we integrate whole exome sequencing with integrative network analysis to investigate genes harboring de novo mutations. Prominent convergence has been revealed on a network of disease-specific co-expression comprised of 55 genes associated with homeostasis and metabolism. The transcription factor gene MEF2 D and the DNA repair gene PARP2 are highlighted as hub genes and identified to be up-and down-regulated, respectively, in peripheral blood data set. Enrichment analysis demonstrates that altered expression of MEF2 D and PARP2 may trigger a series of molecular and cellular processes with pivotal roles in PBC pathophysiology. 17RP5-1148A21.3 (lncRP5) exerts oncogenic function in human ovarian carcinoma显示文摘Ovarian cancer(OC)is a fatal gynecological malignancy that is difficult to diagnose at early stages.Various long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are aberrantly expressed in OC and exert regulatory effects on OC;however,the underlying mechanism requires in-depth investigation.This work is designed to explore the molecular regulatory axis of a newly identified lncRNA in OC,that is,lncRNA RP5-1148A21.3(lncRP5).RT-qPCR shows lncRP5 is significantly upregulated in OC patients and cell lines,and it is mainly located in the cytoplasm of OC cells.The results of CCK-8,colony formation,and transwell assays demonstrate that overexpression of lncRP5 greatly contributes to malignant behaviors of OC cells,while inhibition of lncRP5 shows the opposite effects.Moreover,the binding relationship between lncRP5 and miR-545-5p is predicted by bioinformatics and is further verified by luciferase assay.Functionally,the regulatory effects of lncRP5 and miR-545-3p are negatively related;miR-545-5p serves as a tumor suppressor in OC.Further studies demonstrate that PTP4A1 is the target gene of miR-545-5p.Overexpression of PTP4A1 abrogates the inhibitory function of miR-545-5p on OC cell growth and metastasis.The lncRP5/miR-545-5p/PTP4A1 axis is subsequently demonstrated in vivo,and knockdown of lncRP5 notably inhibits tumor growth.This study provides a novel regulatory mechanism of OC,which may contribute to the diagnosis and therapy of OC.Pingping Sun Aimei Bao Xiangdong Hua Jian Cao Ye Ding 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,2:1
