| 1 | On the localised corrosion of carbon steel induced by the in-situ local damage of porous corrosion products显示文摘The effect of in-situ local damage of uniform porous corrosion products on the localised corrosion of carbon steel is investigated using the wire beam electrode technique(WBE)combined with morphology characterisation and electrochemical tests.The WBE measurements demonstrate that the localised corrosion is enhanced by the in-situ local removal of porous corrosion products,supported by the morphology characterisation and electrochemical tests.The enhanced localised corrosion does not originate from the damaged wire in WBE where the corrosion products are removed but from the other undamaged wires,which is reported for the first time.A mechanism is proposed that the intensive anodic polarisation effect of the damaged wire on the undamaged wires could account for the enhanced localised corrosion,which is due to the protective corrosion products newly formed on the damaged surface and the increase in the potential of damaged wire. | Lin Pang Zhengbin Wang Yugui Zheng Xueming Lai Xu Han | 2020 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,54,19: | 4 |
| 2 | Investigation of Amorphization of Nb-Si Alloys by Mechanical Alloying显示文摘Amorphous Nb_(62.5)Si_(37.5) and Nb_(75)Si_(25) alloys were produced from mixtures of elemental Nb and Si powders by mechanical alloying(MA).The structural changes of mechanically alloyed powders were monitored by x-ray diffraction.It was found that NbSi_(2),intermetallic compound was formed in the initial stage of MA of or Nb_(62.5)Si_(37.5) or Nb_(75)Si_(25) powders.With continued milling,the mixtures of intermetallic NbSi_(2) and elemental Nb transformed into amorphous Nb-Si alloys(Nb_(62.5)Si_(37.5) or Nb_(75)Si_(25)).The slow interdiffusion of Nb and Si and the slower diffusion of silicon atoms to niobium matrix than that of niobium atoms to silicon matrix were suggested to be responsible for the formation of intermetallic NbSi_(2).The amorphization of 3NbSi_(2)+7Nb mixtures(or NbSi_(2)+5Nb mixtures)is believed to be controlled by material transfer,which moves composition of line intermetallic NbSi2 off stoichiometry,and causes the matrix of elemental Nb deformed. | LI Bing MA Xueming LIU Lin QI Zhenzhong DONG Yuanda | 1994 | Chinese Physics Letters1994,11,11: | 4 |
| 3 | CHANGES IN MONSOON AND TROPICAL CYCLONE EXTREME PRECIPITATION IN SOUTHEAST CHINA FROM 1960 TO 2012显示文摘Using daily precipitation data from 110 stations in Southeast China from 1960 to 2012,the extreme precipitation(EP)events associated with monsoon and tropical cyclones were examined using the Objective Synoptic Analysis Technique.In Southeast China,the extreme precipitation associated with tropical cyclones(TEP),which mainly occur in the summer(July–September),accounted for 27.9%of the total extreme precipitation amount,with 40–50%in the coastal regions.While the regional mean TEP amount showed an inconspicuous trend,total EP and monsoon EP(MEP)both showed an increasing trend,with the MEP trend being statistically significant.Although there was little change in the frequency of tropical cyclones affecting Southeast China,the TEP contribution to frequency increased with increasing EP threshold and the frequency of TEP with daily precipitation of more than 300 mm showed an increasing trend in the background of global climate change.The upward trend in the highest-threshold TEP events presents a challenge for mitigation of the damage associated with tropical cyclones. | ZHIZ HONG SU FUMIN REN JIN WEI XIAOHONG LIN SHUNJI SHI XUEMING ZHOU | 2015 | Tropical Cyclone Research and Review2015,4,1: | 3 |
| 4 | Boosted photoreduction of diluted CO_(2) through oxygen vacancy engineering in NiO nanoplatelets显示文摘Converting carbon dioxide(CO_(2))to diverse value-added products through photocatalysis can validly alleviate the critical issues of greenhouse effect and energy shortages simultaneously.In particular,based on practical considerations,exploring novel catalysts to achieve efficient photoreduction of diluted CO_(2) is necessary and urgent.However,this process is extremely challenging owing to the disturbance of competitive adsorption at low CO_(2) concentration.Herein,we delicately synthesize oxygen vacancy-laden NiO nanoplatelets(r-NiO)via calcination under Ar protection to reduce diluted CO_(2) through visible light irradiation(>400 nm)assisted by a Ru-based photosensitizer.Benefitting from the strongly CO_(2) adsorption energy of oxygen vacancies,which was confirmed by density functional calculations,the r-NiO catalysts exhibit higher activity and selectivity(6.28×10^(3)µmol·h^(−1)·g^(−1);82.11%)for diluted CO_(2)-to-CO conversion than that of the normal NiO(3.94×10^(3)µmol·h^(−1)·g^(−1);65.26%).Besides,the presence of oxygen vacancies can also promote the separation of electron-hole pairs.Our research demonstrates that oxygen vacancies could act as promising candidates for photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction,offering fundamental guidance for the actual photoreduction of diluted CO_(2) in the future. | Weiyi Chen Xueming Liu Bin Han Shujie Liang Hong Deng Zhang Lin | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,3: | 2 |

The scalar contours reveal the mushroom-shaped streaklines observed in many experiments [l]and uncover by far more exquisite structures beyond experimental observations. The hydric bubbles released at a constant time interval are also simulated numerically. To help understand the visualization results, we analyze the behavior of the coherent structures, such as the streamwise ribs and the spanwise rollers. | 13 | Shen-Qi-Wan Protects the Renal Peritubular Capillary Injury from Adenine-mediated Damage by Upregulating Aquaporin 1显示文摘Background:Shen-Qi-Wan(SQW),a commonly used prescription against chronic kidney disease(CKD)in Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine(TCM),has a nephroprotective action in adenine-induced kidney injury.However,the mechanism of SQW in renal injury remains unclear.Objective:This study was undertaken to measure the effect of SQW on peritubular capillary injury both in vivo and in vitro assays.Methods:The effect of SQW on the peritubular capillary injury was evaluated according to measuring hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal(HPA)function,inflammatory cytokines,VEGF(vascular endothelial growth fac-tor),CD34(Cluster of differentiation 34),and AQP1(Aquaporin 1)levels in the kidney,cell migration,and lumen forming capacity.Results:SQW supplementation could ameliorate dysfunction of the HPA and renal function loss induced by adenine.SQW also significantly inhibited the inflammatory cytokines including MCP-1(monocyte chemotactic protein-1)and VCAM-1(vascular cell adhesion molecule-1)level.Alternatively,SQW administration showed an ameliorating effect from the toxicity and alleviated the injury of capillaries around renal tubules instigated by adenine through increasing AQP1 mRNA and protein level.SQW medicated the serum enhanced the migration and lumen formation ability of HMEC-1 cells,and significantly increased AQP1 protein level.Moreover,AQP1 knockdown efficiently inhibited the migration and lumen formation ability in HMEC-1 cells,and weakened the effect of SQW medicated serum.Conclusion:These results suggested that SQW attenuated peritubular capillary injury in adenine-induced CKD model rats through boosting angiogenesis in endothelial cell,and AQP1 may be a potential target of SQW for treating the renal injury. | Yuting Bao Yehui Zhang Yuanxiao Yang Xueming Chen Luning Lin Yunbo Fu Liting Ji Changyu Li | 2022 | Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2022,2,1: | 1 |

| 15 | Extraction of Cr(Ⅵ) from chromite ore processing residue via hydrothermal-assisted phase transformation显示文摘The effective extracting Cr(Ⅵ) from chromite ore processing residue(COPR) is the key to achieve COPR detoxification and recovery.We developed an effective method to extract Cr(Ⅵ) from COPR via controlling the phase transformation of Cr(Ⅵ)-containing minerals.Characteristic analysis showed that Cr(Ⅵ) was mainly incorporated in the hydrocalumite(NaCa4Al2O6(SO4/CrO4)1.5-15H2O) in COPR,which was a layered-double hydroxide(LDH) with multilayer structure.In the hydrothermal treatment experiments,the Na2CO3 solution showed significant extraction effect of Cr(Ⅵ) and detoxification effect of COPR.After treatment,95% of Cr(Ⅵ) was removed and the Cr(Ⅵ) concentration in the leachate was decreased to 1.6 mg/L by the toxicity characteristic leaching procedure(TCLP),within the regulatory limit disposal standard(HJ/T 301-2007,3 mg/L).Further study revealed that,during the treatment,hydrocalumite transformed into calcite(CaCO3) under the effect of mineralizer,therefore,the layered structure collapsed and the incorporated Cr(Ⅵ) was released to the supernatant.Meanwhile,the Cr(Ⅵ)desorbed from calcite with the calcite particles grew into large size with smooth surface.Stir-flow experiment revealed that the amount of chromium released from CORP to the environment was significantly reduced after treatment,and it is safer for landfill disposal.This work will provide an instructive guidance for the detoxification and recovery of COPR. | Xiaofeng Mo Jin Zhou Le Lin Zuqi Zhong Shaohua Yang Xueming Liu Zhenqing Shi Dongye Zhao Zhang Lin | 2020 | Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,7: | 1 |

| 19 | Lattice-strained nanotubes facilitate efficient natural sunlight-driven CO_(2) photoreduction显示文摘Photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2) holds tremendous promise for alleviating the energy crisis.Despite the progress that has been,made,there are still some challenges to overcome,such as the realization under real sunlight rather than the simulation condition.In this work,ultrathin Ni_(2)(OH)(PO_(4))nanotubes(NTs)prepared through hydrothermal route are applied as a novel catalyst for photocatalytic reduction of CO_(2) under real sunlight.The prepared Ni_(2)(OH)(PO_(4))NTs exhibit a 11.3 μmol·h^(-1) CO production rate with,96.1% CO selectivity.Interestingly,Ni_(2)(OH)(PO_(4))NTs have a positive impact on the facilitation of photoreduction in diluted CO_(2).Notably,when the system is performed under real sunlight,Ni_(2)(OH)(PO_(4))NTs afford an accumulated CO of ca.26.8 nmol with,96.9% CO selectivity,exceeding most previous inorganic catalysts under simulated irradiation in the laboratory.Our experimental results demonstrate that the multisynergetic effects induced by surface-OH and the lattice strain serve as highly active sites for CO_(2) molecular adsorption and activation as well as electron transfer,hence enhancing photoreduction activity.Therefore,this work provides experimental basis that CO_(2) photocatalysis can be put into practical use. | Shujie Liang Xueming Liu Zuqi Zhong Bin Han Xiaohui Zhong Weiyi Chen Kainan Song Hong Deng Zhang Lin | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,8: | 0 |
