| 1 | Experimental Study on Uniaxial and Multiaxial Strain CyclicCharacteristics and Ratcheting of 316L Stainless Steel显示文摘An experimental study was carried out on the strain cyclic characteristics and ratcheting of 316L stainless steel subjected to uniaxial and multiaxial cyclic loading. The strain cyclic characteristics were researched under the strain-controlled uniaxial tension-compression and multiaxial circular paths of loading. The ratcheting tests were conducted for the stress-controlled uniaxial tensioncompression and multiaxial circular, rhombic and linear paths of loading with different mean stresses, stress amplitudes and histories. The experiment results show that 316L stainless steel features the cyclic hardening, and its strain cyclic characteristics depend on the strain amplitude and its history apparently. The ratcheting of 316L stainless steel depends greatly on the values of mean stress, stress amplitude and their histories. | 2 | Daytime HONO formation in the suburban area of the megacity Beijing, China显示文摘Nitrous acid(HONO),as a primary precursor of OH radicals,has been considered one of the most important nitrogencontaining species in the atmosphere.Up to 30%of primary OH radical production is attributed to the photolysis of HONO.However,the major HONO formation mechanisms are still under discussion.During the Campaigns of Air Quality Research in Beijing and Surrounding Region(CAREBeijing2006)campaign,comprehensive measurements were carried out in the megacity Beijing,where the chemical budget of HONO was fully constrained.The average diurnal HONO concentration varied from 0.33 to 1.2 ppbv.The net OH production rate from HONO,POH(HONO)net,was on average(from 05:00 to 19:00)7.1×106 molecule/(cm3 s),2.7 times higher than from O3 photolysis.This production rate demonstrates the important role of HONO in the atmospheric chemistry of megacity Beijing.An unknown HONO source(Punknown)with an average of 7.3×106molecule/(cm3 s)was derived from the budget analysis during daytime.Punknown provided four times more HONO than the reaction of NO with OH did.The diurnal variation of Punknown showed an apparent photo-enhanced feature with a maximum around 12:00,which was consistent with previous studies at forest and rural sites.Laboratory studies proposed new mechanisms to recruit NO2 and J(NO2)in order to explain a photo-enhancement of of Punknown.In this study,these mechanisms were validated against the observation-constraint Punknown.The reaction of exited NO2 accounted for only 6%of Punknown,and Punknown poorly correlated with[NO2](R=0.26)and J(NO2)[NO2](R=0.35).These results challenged the role of NO2 as a major precursor of the missing HONO source. | YANG Qiang SU Hang LI Xin CHENG YaFang LU KeDing CHENG Peng GU JianWei GUO Song HU Min ZENG LiMin ZHU Tong ZHANG YuanHang | 2014 | Science China Chemistry2014,57,7: | 8 |
| 3 | An online monitoring system for atmospheric nitrous acid(HONO) based on stripping coil and ion chromatography显示文摘A new instrument for measuring atmospheric nitrous acid(HONO) was developed,consisting of a double-wall glass stripping coil sampler coupled with ion chromatography(SC-IC).SC-IC is featured by small size(50 × 35 × 25 cm) and modular construction,including three independent parts:the sampling unit,the transfer and supporting unit,and the detection unit.High collection efficiency(> 99%) was achieved with 25 μmol/L Na2CO3 as absorption solution even in the presence of highly acidic compounds.This instrument has a detection limit of 8 pptv at 15 min time resolution,with a measurement uncertainty of 7%.Potential interferences from NOx,NO2+SO2,NO2+VOCs,HONO+O3,HNO3,peroxyacetyl nitrite(PAN) and particle nitrite were quantified in laboratory studies and were found to be insignificant under typical atmospheric conditions.Within the framework of the 3C-STAR project,inter-comparison between the SC-IC and LOPAP(long path liquid absorption photometer) was conducted at a rural site in the Pearl River Delta.Good agreement was achieved between the two instruments over three weeks.Both instruments determined a clear diurnal profile of ambient HONO concentrations from 0.1 to 2.5 ppbv.However,deviations were found for low ambient HONO concentrations(i.e.< 0.3 ppbv),which cannot be explained by previous investigated interference species.To accurately determine the HONO budget under illuminated conditions,more intercomparison of HONO measurement techniques is still needed in future studies,especially at low HONO concentrations. | Peng Cheng Yafang Cheng Keding Lu Hang Su Qiang Yang Yikan Zou Yanran Zhao Huabing Dong Limin Zeng Yuanhang Zhang | 2013 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,5: | 5 |
| 4 | IL-17A-dependent gut microbiota is essential for regulating diet-induced disorders in mice显示文摘The gut microbiota plays a key role in obesity and related metabolic disorders, and multiple factors including diet, host genotype, and age regulate it. Many studies have examined the contribution of extrinsic factors to the regulation of the gut microbiota, but the importance of the host genetic constitution cannot be ignored. Interleukin 17A(IL-17A), a pro-inflammatory cytokine, is important in the defense against infection and diseases. Here, we investigated the association among IL-17, a high-fat diet(HFD), and the gut microbiota. Mice deficient in IL-17A were resistant to diet-induced obesity and related diseases. Compared with the Ⅱ-17^(-/-)mice, wild-type(WT) mice challenged with HFD showed obvious weight fluctuations, such as those seen in type 2 diabetes, and hematological changes similar to those associated with metabolic syndrome. However, housing WT mice and Ⅱ-17a^(-/-)mice together significantly alleviated these symptoms in the WT mice. A metagenomic analysis of the mouse feces indicated that the microbial community compositions of these two groups differed before HFD feeding. The HFD mediated shifts in the gut microbial compositions, which were associated with the mouse phenotypes.We also identified potentially beneficial and harmful species present during this period, and drew networks of the most abundant species. A functional analysis indicated pathway changes in the WT and Ⅱ-17a^(-/-)mice when fed the HFD. | 5 | Incomplete lineage sorting and introgression in the diversification of Chinese spot-billed ducks and mallards显示文摘Incomplete lineage sorting and introgression are 2 major and nonexclusive causes of specieslevel non-monophyly.Distinguishing between these 2 processes is notoriously difficult because they can generate similar genetic signatures.Previous studies have suggested that 2 closely related duck species,the Chinese spot-billed duck Anas zonorhyncha and the mallard A.platyrhynchosvjere polyphyletically intermixed.Here,we utilized a wide geographical sampling,multilocus data and a coalescent-based model to revisit this system.Our study confirms the finding that Chinese spot-billed ducks and Mallards are not monophyletic.There was no apparent interspecific differentiation across loci except those at the mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)control region and the Z chromosome(CHD1Z).Based on an isolation-with-migration model and the geographical distribution of lineages,we suggest that both introgression and incomplete lineage sorting might contribute to the observed non-monophyly of the 2 closely related duck species.The mtDNA introgression was asymmetric,with high gene flow from Chinese spot-billed ducks to Mallards and negligible gene flow in the opposite direction.Given that the 2 duck species are phenotypically distinctive but weakly genetically differentiated,future work based on genomescale data is necessary to uncover genomic regions that are involved in divergence,and this work may provide further insights into the evolutionary histories of the 2 species and other waterfowls. | Wenjuan WANG Yafang WANG Fumin Lei Yang LIU Haitao WANG Jiakuan Chen | 2019 | Current Zoology2019,65,5: | 2 |

| 10 | Distinct lung microbial community states in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis显示文摘An improved understanding of the lung microbiome may lead to better strategies to diagnose, treat, and prevent pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB). However, the characteristics of the lung microbiomes of patients with TB remain largely undefined. In this study, 163 bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) samples were collected from 163 sputum-negative suspected PTB patients. Furthermore, 12 paired BAL samples were obtained from 12 Mycobacterium tuberculosis-positive (MTB+) patients before and after negative conversion following a two-month anti-TB treatment. The V3–V4 region of the 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene was used to characterize the microbial composition of the lungs. The results showed that the prevalence of MTB in the BAL samples was 42.9% (70/163) among the sputum-negative patients. The α-diversity of lung microbiota was significantly less diverse in MTB+ patients compared with Mycobacterium tuberculosis-negative (MTB–) patients. There was a significant difference in β-diversity between MTB+ and MTB– patients. MTB+ patients were enriched with Anoxybacillus, while MTB– patients were enriched with Prevotella, Alloprevotella, Veillonella, and Gemella. There was no significant difference between the Anoxybacillus detection rates of MTB+ and MTB– patients. The paired comparison between the BAL samples from MTB+ patients and their negative conversion showed that BAL negative-conversion microbiota had a higher α-diversity. In conclusion, distinct features of airway microbiota could be identified between samples from patients with and without MTB. | 14 | Genetic diversity of coronaviruses in Miniopterus fuliginosus bats显示文摘Coronaviruses, such as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, pose significant public health threats. Bats have been suggested to act as natural reservoirs for both these viruses, and periodic monitoring of coronaviruses in bats may thus provide important clues about emergent infectious viruses. The Eastern bent-wing bat Miniopterus fuliginosus is distributed extensively throughout China. We therefore analyzed the genetic diversity of coronaviruses in samples of M. fuliginosus collected from nine Chinese provinces during 2011–2013. The only coronavirus genus found was Alphacoronavirus. We established six complete and five partial genomic sequences of alphacoronaviruses, which revealed that they could be divided into two distinct lineages, with close relationships to coronaviruses in Miniopterus magnater and Miniopterus pusillus. Recombination was confirmed by detecting putative breakpoints of Lineage 1 coronaviruses in M. fuliginosus and M. pusillus(Wu et al., 2015), which supported the results of topological and phylogenetic analyses. The established alphacoronavirus genome sequences showed high similarity to other alphacoronaviruses found in other Miniopterus species, suggesting that their transmission in different Miniopterus species may provide opportunities for recombination with different alphacoronaviruses. | 15 | Natural products for infectious microbes and diseases:an overview of sources,compounds,and chemical diversities显示文摘As coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) threatens human health globally,infectious disorders have become one of the most challenging problem for the medical community.Natural products(NP) have been a prolific source of antimicrobial agents with widely divergent structures and a range of vast biological activities.A dataset comprising 618 articles,including 646 NP-based compounds from 672 species of natural sources with biological activities against 21 infectious pathogens from five categories,was assembled through manual selection of published articles.These data were used to identify 268 NP-based compounds classified into ten groups,which were used for network pharmacology analysis to capture the most promising lead-compounds such as agelasine D,dicumarol,dihydroartemisinin and pyridomycin.The distribution of maximum Tanimoto scores indicated that compounds which inhibited parasites exhibited low diversity,whereas the chemistries inhibiting bacteria,fungi,and viruses showed more structural diversity.A total of 331 species of medicinal plants with compounds exhibiting antimicrobial activities were selected to classify the family sources.The family Asteraceae possesses various compounds against C.neoformans,the family Anacardiaceae has compounds against Salmonella typhi,the family Cucurbitacea against the human immunodeficiency virus(HIV),and the family Ancistrocladaceae against Plasmodium.This review summarizes currently available data on NPbased antimicrobials against refractory infections to provide information for further discovery of drugs and synthetic strategies for anti-infectious agents. | Lu Luo Jun Yang Cheng Wang Jie Wu Yafang Li Xu Zhang Hui Li Hui Zhang Yumei Zhou Aiping Lu Shilin Chen | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,6: | 1 |

| 17 | Surface recrystallization of a Ni_3Al based single crystal superalloy at different annealing temperatures and blasting pressure显示文摘The effects of annealing temperature and grit blasting pressure on the recrystallization behavior of a Ni3Al based single crystal superalloy were studied in this work. The results show that the precipitation of the Y-NiMo phase occurs at 900 and 1000 °C, which precedes recrystallization. The initial recrystallization temperature was between 1000 and 1100 °C. Cellular recrystallization was formed at 1100 and 1200 °C, which consisted of large columnar γ′ and fine γ + γ′. The dendrite arm closed to the interdendritic region may act as nucleation sites during initial recrystallization by a particle simulated nucleation mechanism at 1280 °C. | 20 | Correlation of ARNTL2 with Immune Infiltration and Its Role as a Potential Prognostic Biomarker in Lung Adenocarcinoma显示文摘Background:ARNTL2 is a core component of the circadian clock genes and plays regulatory roles in the cell cycle and immune infiltration,but its mechanism in lung cancer(LC)remains unclear.Objective:To investigate the clinical and therapeutic value of ARNTL2 in LC.Methods:The Oncomine and Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia(CCLE)databases were adopted for assessing the ARNTL2 expression,after which the Kaplan-Meier plotter and Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis 2(GEPIA2)databases were used to assess the correlation of ARNTL2 with prognosis.The univariate and multi-variate Cox regression analyses were utilized to identify independent prognostic factors.Also,we explored how ARNTL2 expression is related to immune infiltration,and immunomodulators in non-small lung cancer(NSCLC)using the Tumor Immune Estimation Resource(TIMER)database,TISIDB database and Gene Set Enrichment Analysis(GSEA).Finally,coexpression of ARNTL2 and PD-L1 in lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)was verified via immunofluorescence staining and COXPRESdb v7 database.Results:Our study demonstrated a remarkable upregulated expression of ARNTL2 in multiple cell lines and can-cers,including NSCLC.Prognostic analysis displayed a remarkable correlation between high ARNTL2 expression and unfavorable overall survival(OS)and first progressive(FP)survival among patients ailing from LUAD,and ARNTL2 was an independent predictor of prognosis for LUAD patients.GSEA analysis showed that overexpres-sion of ARNTL2 was significantly linked with cell cycle and immunity.Furthermore,we reported a correlation of ARNTL2 expression with immunomodulators and lymphocytes.Immunofluorescence staining revealed that ARNTL2 and PD-L1 were elevated relative to normal tissue for LUAD,and colocalization of them was observed.Conclusion:Elevated ARNTL2 expression in LUAD revealed the prognostic values and its prospective role as a target for cell cycle and immune therapy. | Junjie Pan Hongkuan Yang Lihong Zhu Yafang Lou | 2021 | Clinical Complementary Medicine and Pharmacology2021,1,1: | 0 |
