| 1 | Enhanced Photocatalytic Degradation of Rhodamine B by Cu_2O Coated Silicon Nanowire Arrays in Presence of H_2O_2显示文摘Highly ordered Cu2 O coated silicon nanowire arrays(Si NWAs) were fabricated as photocatalyst via depositing Cu nanoparticles on silver-assisted electroless-etched Si NWAs and subsequently annealing. The as-prepared samples have been characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and UV e VIS e NIR spectrophotometry. The photocatalytic properties of the Cu2 O coated Si NWAs were investigated by degradation of Rhodamine B(Rh B) under simulated solar light with a cut-off filter(l > 420 nm). The results indicated that H2O2 could greatly improve the photocatalytic properties of Cu2 O coated Si NWAs, and exhibited strong synergy effect between them. | 2 | Simultaneous determination of ivabradine and N-desmethylivabradine in human plasma and urine using a LC-MS/MS method: application to a pharmacokinetic study显示文摘A sensitive and specific liquid-chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)assay has been developed and validated for the simultaneous quantification of ivabradine and its active metabolite N-desmethylivabradine in human plasma and urine.The assay employed a single liquid–liquid extraction of the analytes from plasma and urine samples,and diazepam was used as internal standard(IS).The chromatographic separation was achieved on a Diamonsil C18 column(150 mm4.6 mm,5 mm,Dikma)using a mixture of methanol and aqueous 5 mM ammonium acetate buffer containing 0.2%formic acid(80:20,v/v)as mobile phase.The assay for ivabradine and N-desmethylivabradine in plasma showed good linearity(r≥0.99)over the ranges 0.1013–101.3 ng/mL and 0.085–25.5 ng/mL,respectively.The assay for ivabradine and N-desmethylivabradine in urine showed good linearity(r≥0.99)over the ranges 10.13–6078 ng/mL and 8.5–850 ng/mL,respectively.The intra-and inter-day accuracy and precision values were found to be within the assay variability limits(RSD<15%)in accordance with FDA guidelines.The methods were successfully used for evaluating the pharmacokinetic properties of ivabradine and N-desmethylivabradine in human plasma and urine in Chinese healthy volunteers. | Chengtao Lu Yanyan Jia Jing Yang Xin Jin Ying Songa Wenxing Liu Yi Ding Xiaoli Sun Aidong Wen | 2012 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2012,2,2: | 3 |
| 3 | Functional difference between Sinorhizobium meliloti NifA and Enterobacter cloacae NifA显示文摘The nifA gene is an important regulatory gene and its product, NifA protein, regulates the expression of many nif genes involved in the nitrogen fixation process. We introduced multiple copies of the constitutively expressed Sinorhizobium meliloti (Sm) or Enterobacter cloacae (Ec) nifA gene into both the nifA mutant strain SmY and the wild-type strain Sm1021. Root nodules produced by SmY containing a constitutively expressed Sm nifA gene were capable of fixing nitrogen, while nodules produced by SmY containing the Ec nifA gene remained unable to fix nitrogen, as is the case for SmY itself. However, transfer of an additional Sm nifA gene into Sm1021 improved the nitrogen-fixing efficiency of root nodules to a greater extent than that observed upon transfer of the Ec nifA gene into Sm1021. Comparative analysis of amino acid sequences between Sm NifA and Ec NifA showed that the N-terminal domain was the least similar, but this domain is indispensable for complementation of the Fix? phenotype of SmY by Sm NifA. | 6 | Molecular Epidemiology of Klebsiella pneumoniae from Clinical Bovine Mastitis in Northern Area of China,2018–2019显示文摘Klebsiella pneumoniae(K.pneumonia,KpⅠ)is a predominate inducement of bovine mastitis,which is associated with high mortality and milk yield reduction.However,data is lacking on the molecular characteristics of bovine K.pneumoniae,limiting the risk assessment of its transmission through the food chain.Herein,we investigated the prevalence of K.pneumoniae in 6301 clinical mastitis(CM)milk samples from dairy cattle in northern area of China.In total,183 K.pneumoniae isolates were recovered,with detection rates of 3.0% and 2.8% in 2018 and 2019,respectively.Like human clinical K.pneumoniae,all CM K.pneumoniae isolates belonged to one of three phylogroups:KpⅠ(n=143),Klebsiella.quasipneumoniae subsp.similipneumoniae(KpⅡ-B)(n=37),and Klebsiella variicola(KpⅢ)(n=3).We detected the extendedspectrum β-lactamase-encoding genes bla_(SHV-2a),blac_(CTX-M-14),and bla_(CTX-M-15),as well as clpC,lpfA,lacI,lacZ,lacY,and the fecABDEIR operon in the KpⅠ isolates,which may contribute to their pathogenicity and host adaptability in cows.The high prevalence of KpⅠ in dairy farms may be problematic,as it showed relatively higher rates of antibiotic resistance and virulence gene carriage than the KpⅡ-B and KpⅢ isolates.Furthermore,we observed distinct differences in population structure between CM-and human infection-associated KpⅠ isolates,with the genes associated with invasive infection in humans rarely being observed in bovine isolates,indicating that few CM-associated K.pneumoniae isolates pose a threat to human health.Nevertheless,bovine KpⅡ-B isolates shared a high level of nucleotide sequence identity with isolates from human infections and frequently carried the nitrogen-fixation gene nif,suggesting an association between KpⅡ-B isolates from cattle and humans,and plant-derived bacteria. | Shikai Song Wenjuan He Dawei Yang Manar Benmouffok Yao Wang Jiyun Li Chengtao Sun Xiangbin Song Shizhen Ma Chang Cai Shuangyang Ding Congming Wu Zhangqi Shen Yang Wang | 2022 | Engineering2022,8,3: | 1 |
| 7 | Outcomes of haploidentical bone marrow transplantation in patients with severe aplastic anemia-II that progressed from non-severe acquired aplastic anemia显示文摘Severe aplastic anemia II(SAA-II)progresses from non-severe aplastic anemia(NSAA).The unavailability of efficacious treatment has prompted the need for haploidentical bone marrow transplantation(haplo-BMT)in patients lacking a human leukocyte antigen(HLA)-matched donor.This study aimed to investigate the efficacy of haplo-BMT for patients with SAA-II.Twenty-two patients were included and followed up,and FLU/BU/CY/ATG was used as conditioning regimen.Among these patients,21 were successfully engrafted,19 of whom survived after haplo-BMT.Four patients experienced grade II–IV aGvHD,including two with grade III–IV aGvHD.Six patients experienced chronic GvHD,among whom four were mild and two were moderate.Twelve patients experienced infections during BMT.One was diagnosed with post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder and one with probable EBV disease,and both recovered after rituximab infusion.Haplo-BMT achieved 3-year overall survival and disease-free survival rate of 86.4%±0.73%after a median follow-up of 42 months,indicating its effectiveness as a salvage therapy.These promising outcomes may support haplo-BMT as an alternative treatment strategy for patients with SAA-II lacking HLA-matched donors. | Hongchen Liu Xiaoli Zheng Chengtao Zhang Jiajun Xie Beibei Gao Jing Shao Yan Yang Hengxiang Wang Jinsong Yan | 2021 | Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,5: | 1 |

| 13 | Regulatory variation within 3’UTR of STAT5A correlates with sudden cardiac death in Chinese populations显示文摘Definitive diagnosis to sudden cardiac death(SCD)is often challenging since the postmortem examination on SCD victims could hardly demonstrate an adequate cause of death.It is therefore important to uncover the inherited risk component to SCD.Signal transducer and activators of transcription 5 A(STAT5A)is a member of the STAT family and a transcription factor that is activated by many cell ligands and associated with various cardiovascular processes.In this study,we performed a systematic variant screening on the STAT5A to filter potential functional genetic variations.Based on the screening results,an insertion/deletion polymorphism(rs3833144)in 3’UTR of STAT5A was selected as the candidate variant.A total of 159 SCD cases and 668 SCD matched healthy controls was enrolled to perform a case-control study and evaluate the association between rs3833144 and SCD susceptibility in Chinese populations.Logistic regression analysis showed that the deletion allele of rs3833144 had significantly increased the SCD risk(odds ratio(OR)=1.54;95%confidence interval(CI)=1.18-2.01;P=0.000955).Further genotype-expression eQTL analysis showed that samples with deletion allele appeared to lower expression of STAT5A,and in silico prediction suggested the local 3 D structure changes of STAT5A mRNA caused by the variant.On the other hand,the bioinformatic analysis presented that promoters of RARA and PTGES3L-AARSD1 could interact with rs3833144,and eQTL analysis showed the higher expression of both genes in samples with deletion allele.Dual-luciferase activity assays also suggested the significant regulatory role of rs3833144 in gene transcription.Our current data thus suggested a possible involvement of rs3833144 to SCD predisposition in Chinese populations and rs3833144 with potential function roles may become a candidate marker for SCD diagnosis and prevention. | Huan Yu Yadong Guo Zhenzhen Yang Qing Zhang Jiabin Xu Qi Yang Yiling Qu Rui Tan Lijuan Li Yan He Chengtao Li Suhua Zhang Bin Luo Yuzhen Gao | 2022 | Forensic Sciences Research2022,7,4: | 0 |

| 15 | Multi-locus identification of Psilocybe cubensis by high-resolution melting(HRM)显示文摘Hallucinogenic mushroom is a kind of toxic strain containing psychoactive tryptamine substances such as psilocybin,psilocin and ibotenic acid,etc.The mushrooms containing hallucinogenic components are various,widely distributed and lack of standard to define,which made a great challenge to identification.Traditional identification methods,such as morphology and toxicology analysis,showed shortcomings in old or processed samples,while the DNA-based identification of hallucinogenic mushrooms would allow to identify these samples due to the stability of DNA.In this paper,four primer sets are designed to target Psilocybe cubensis DNA for increasing resolution of present identification method,and the target markers include largest subunit of RNA polymerase II(marked as PC-R1),psilocybin-related phosphotransferase gene(marked as PC-PT),glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase(marked as PC-3)and translation EF1α(marked as PC-EF).Real-time PCR with high-resolution melting(HRM)assay were used for the differentiation of the fragments amplified by these primer sets,which were tested for specificity,reproducibility,sensitivity,mixture analysis and multiplex PCR.It was shown that the melting temperatures of PC-R1,PC-PT,PC-3 and PC-EF of P.cubensis were(87.93±0.12)℃,(82.21±0.14)℃,(79.72±0.12)℃ and(80.11±0.19)℃ in our kinds of independent experiments.Significant HRM characteristic can be shown with a low concentration of 62.5pg/µL DNA sample,and P.cubensis could be detected in mixtures with Homo sapiens or Cannabis sativa.In summary,the method of HRM analysis can quickly and specifically distinguish P.cubensis from other species,which could be utilized for forensic science,medical diagnosis and drug trafficking cases. | Xiaochun Zhang Huan Yu Ziwei Wang Qi Yang Ruocheng Xia Yiling Qu Ruiyang Tao Yan Shi Ping Xiang Suhua Zhang Chengtao Li | 2022 | Forensic Sciences Research2022,7,3: | 0 |

| 17 | Fully Bio-Based Composites of Poly(Lactic Acid)Reinforced with Cellulose-Graft-Poly-(ε-Caprolactone)Copolymers显示文摘Due to the increasing demand for modified polylactide(PLA)meeting“double green”criteria,the research on sustainable plasticizers for PLA has attracted broad attentions.This study reported an open-ring polymerization method to fabricate cellulose(MCC)-g-PCL(poly(ε-caprolactone))copolymers with a fully sustainable and biodegradable component.MCC-g-PCL copolymers were synthesized,characterized,and used as green plasticizers for the PLA toughening.The results indicated that the MCC-g-PCL derivatives play an important role in the compatibility,crystallization,and toughening of the PLA/MCC-g-PCL composites.The mechanical properties of the fully bio-based PLA/MCC-g-PCL composites were optimized by adding 15 wt%MCC-g-PCL,that is,the elongation at break was 22.6%(~376%higher than that of neat PLA),the tensile strength was 47.3 MPa(comparable to that of neat PLA),and the impact strength was 26 J/m(~130%higher than that of neat PLA).DSC results indicated that MCC-g-PCL reduced the Tg of the PLA blend.When the addition amount was 15 wt%,the Tg of the blend was 58.4°C.Compared with MCC,MCC-g-PCL polyester plasticizer has better thermal stability,T5%(°C)can still be maintained above 300°C.The rheological results showed that MCC-g-PCL acted as a plasticizer,the introduction of PCL flexible chain increased the mobility of PLA molecular chain,and decreased the complex viscosity,storage modulus and loss modulus of PLA blends.The MCC-g-PCL derivatives,as a new green plastic additive,have shown an interesting prospect to prepare fully bio-based composites. | Chengtao Gao Yang Wu Haibo Xie | 2023 | Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,3: | 0 |

| 19 | Development of a Roebel structure transposed cable with in-plane bending of REBCO tapes显示文摘A compact High Temperature Superconductor(HTS)cable that can carry large current is crucial for developing high field superconducting accelerator magnets.Herein,we are reporting a high current and low AC loss REBCO cable that adopts the Roebel structure,but it is implemented by in‐plane bending stacked REBCO tapes directly to realize the transposition,instead of by punching REBCO tapes to the desired shape.The cable maximizes the utilization of the original REBCO tapes,so that the material cost is significantly reduced comparing with the present“Roebel”REBCO cable.Recently,a prototype cable has been successfully fabricated.The critical current of each REBCO tape after cabling shows no degradation,and the cable’s measured critical current is 1939.8 A at 77 K and self‐field,which is very close to the predicted critical current by simulation.Calculations also show that the AC loss of the cable is lower compared with that of a simple REBCO stack with the same cross‐section and current‐carrying capacity.In this paper,we first introduce the fabrication process of the cable.What follows is the measurement of the in‐plane bending performance of REBCO tapes.Then,we present the design and fabrication of the prototype cable together with current‐carrying performance tests.Finally,the AC loss calculation and analysis of the cable are reported. | Juan Wang Rui Kang Xin Chen Chao Yang Yingzhe Wang Chengtao Wang Qingjin Xu | 2022 | Superconductivity2022,,3: | 0 |
