| 1 | Strain hardening behavior of Mg-Y alloys after extrusion process显示文摘The strain hardening is an effective mode of enhancing mechanical properties in alloys.In this work,the strain hardening behaviors of Mg-xY(x=1,2,and 3 wt%)after extrusion process was investigated using uniaxial tensile tests.Results suggest that the Mg-xY alloys are composed ofα-Mg with a little amount of Mg24Y5 phase.The average grain size reduces from 19.8μm to 12.2μm as the Y content adds from 1 wt%to 2 wt%.Nevertheless,when Y content reaches 3 wt%,the grain size reaches to 12.9μm,which is close to that of Mg-2Y.The strain hardening rate decreases from 883 MPa to 798 MPa at(σ-σ0.2)=40 MPa,and Mg-2Y and Mg-3Y have the similar strain hardening response.Moreover,Mg-1Y shows an obvious ascending stage after the steep decreasing stage,which is mainly caused by the activation of twinning.The strain hardening behavior of Mg-xY is explained based on understanding the roles of the deformation mechanisms via deformation microstructure analysis and Visco-Plastic Self Consistent(VPSC)model.The variation of strain hardening characteristics with increasing Y content is related to the effects of grain size and texture. | Chaoyue Zhao Ziyan Li Jiahui Shi Xianhua Chen Teng Tu Zhu Luo Renju Cheng Andrej Atrens Fusheng Pan | 2019 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4: | 6 |
| 2 | An in situ ATR-FTIR study of mixed collectors BHA/DDA adsorption in ilmenite-titanaugite flotation system显示文摘This paper researched the enhanced flotation separation performance of ilmenite and titanaugite using the mixed collector benzhydroxamic acid/dodecylamine(BHA/DDA).The interface assembly mechanism was mainly investigated through in situ attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared(ATRFTIR)spectroscopy combined with the two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy(2D-COS)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).It has been found that BHA/DDA mixed collectors successfully separate ilmenite from titanaugite at a molar ratio of 8:1.Zeta potential experiments suggested that,in the presence of mixed collector system,the BHA-DDA complex adsorbed on the ilmenite surface via the chemically adsorbed BHA and the electrostatically adsorbed DDA,however,the complex adsorbed on the surface of titanaugite unstably.According to in situ ATR-FTIR combined with 2D-COS and XPS results,the interface assembly mechanism of BHA/DDA is summarized as:the function group of BHA molecules first binds to the metal sites on minerals to form bidentate ligand,then DDA co-adsorbed with BHA on the surface of minerals through hydrogen bonding.DDA may change the adsorption modes of some BHA on the ilmenite surface from four-membered ring to five-membered ring,while the modes on the titanaugite surface is true opposite.Finally,recommended adsorption configurations of the BHA/DDA complex on the two mineral surfaces are proposed. | Liping Luo Houqin Wu Longhua Xu Jinping Meng Jiahui Lu Huan Zhou Xiaomei Huo Lingyun Huang | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,4: | 4 |
| 3 | Comparison of stratospheric evolution during the major sudden stratospheric warming events in 2018 and 2019显示文摘Using Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications,Version 2(MERRA-2)data in the northern hemisphere at the 10 hPa level,we compared the stratospheric evolution of temperature and geopotential height during two major sudden stratosphere warming events(SSWs)that occurred in the Arctic winter of 2018 and 2019.In the prewarming period,poleward temperature-enhanced regions were mainly located around 120°E with a displaced vortex and around 120°E and 60°W with splitting vortices.The evolution of geopotential height indicated that these temperature-enhanced regions were both on the western side of high-latitude anticyclones.In the postwarming period,the polar vortex turned from splitting to displacement in the 2018 SSW but from displacement to splitting in the 2019 SSW.Both transitions were observed over the Atlantic region,which may have been caused by anticyclones moving through the polar region.Our findings revealed that the evolution of the anticyclone is important during SSWs and is closely related to temperature-enhanced regions in the prewarming periods and to transitions of the polar vortices in postwarming periods. | Zheng Ma Yun Gong ShaoDong Zhang JiaHui Luo QiHou Zhou ChunMing Huang KaiMing Huang | 2020 | Earth and Planetary Physics2020,4,5: | 2 |

| 7 | CCGD-ESCC: A Comprehensive Database for Genetic Variants Associated with Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Chinese Population显示文摘Esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma(ESCC) is one of the most lethal malignancies in the world and occurs at particularly higher frequency in China. While several genome-wide association studies(GWAS) of germline variants and whole-genome or whole-exome sequencing studies of somatic mutations in ESCC have been published, there is no comprehensive database publically available for this cancer. Here, we developed the Chinese Cancer Genomic Database-Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma(CCGD-ESCC) database, which contains the associations of 69,593 single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) with ESCC risk in 2022 cases and 2039 controls, survival time of 1006 ESCC patients(survival GWAS) and gene expression(expression quantitative trait loci,eQTL) in 94 ESCC patients. Moreover, this database also provides the associations between8833 somatic mutations and survival time in 675 ESCC patients. Our user-friendly database is a resource useful for biologists and oncologists not only in identifying the associations of genetic variants or somatic mutations with the development and progression of ESCC but also in studying the underlying mechanisms for tumorigenesis of the cancer. | 12 | An Efficient Sleep Spindle Detection Algorithm Based on MP and LSBoost显示文摘Sleep spindles are an electroencephalogram(EEG)biomarker of non-rapid eye movement(NREM)sleep and have important implications for clinical diagnosis and prognosis.However,it is challenging to accurately detect sleep spindles due to the complexity of the human brain and the uncertainty of neural mechanisms.To improve the reliability and objectivity of sleep spindle detection and to compensate for the limitations of manual annotation,this study proposes a new automatic detection algorithm based on Matching Pursuit(MP)and Least Squares Boosting(LSBoost),where the automatic sleep spindle detection algorithm can help reduce the visual annotation workload of sleep clinicians.Specifically,MP is a time-frequency analysis method suitable for extracting spindle wave characteristics,which can accurately locate spindle waves on a time-frequency plane.LSBoost is an ensemble learning classification method to deal with unbalanced data.Initially,theMP method is used to search for EEG segments that are possible spindle waves from the filtered raw EEG data.Then,the designed feature segments are thrown into the LSBoost classifier to further identify the real spindles from all candidates and output the final results.The proposed method is verified on the common public dataset DREAMS.The experiment results showthat the sensitivity and F1-scores based on the sample-based assessments achieve 68.2% and 55.4%,respectively.Furthermore,the Recall and F1-score based on the event assessments are 83.8% and 70.8%,respectively.These results show that the proposed algorithm is robust to the subject changes in the DREAMS dataset.In addition,it improves the quality of sleep spindle detection,which is expected to assist the manual marking of experts. | Fei Wang Li Li Yinxing Wan Zhuorong Li Lixian Luo Bangshun Hu Jiahui Pan Zhenfu Wen Haiyun Huang | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,76,8: | 0 |

| 15 | Preparation of CeO_(2) abrasives by reducing atmosphere-assisted molten salt method for enhancing their chemical mechanical polishing performance on SiO_(2)substrates显示文摘Ce^(3+)as the active site on the CeO_(2)abrasive surface is the key to enhancing the material removal rate(MRR).The CeO_(2)abrasives with high chemical activity were prepared by the molten salt method under a reducing atmosphere.The crystal structure and morphology of CeO_(2)abrasive s were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),ultraviolet—visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-Vis DRS),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The CeO_(2)abrasives were obtained under different atmospheres(Air,Ar,and Ar/H_(2)).With the enhancement of the reducing atmosphere,the morphology of the abrasives transforms from spherical to octahedral,while more oxygen vacancies and Ce^(3+)are generated on the surface of CeO_(2)abrasives.The CMP experiments show that the MRRs of the CeO_(2)-Air,CeO_(2)-Ar,and CeO_(2)-Ar/H_(2)abrasives on SiO_(2)substrates are 337.60,578.74,and 691.28 nm/min,respectively.Moreover,as confirmed by atomic force microscopy(AFM),the substrate surfaces exhibit low roughness(20.5 nm)after being polished using all of the prepared samples.Especially,the MRR of CeO_(2)-Ar/H_(2)abrasives is increased by 104.76%compared with CeO_(2)-air abrasives.The improved CMP performance is attributed to the increased Ce^(3+)concentration and the octahedral morphology of the abrasives enhancing the chemical reaction and mechanical removal at the abrasive-substrate interface. | Ning Xu Jiahui Ma Qi Liu Yuxin Luo Yongping Pu | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,10: | 0 |

| 18 | Study of biomass gasification in an industrial-scale dual circulating fluidized bed(DCFB)using the Eulerian-Lagrangian method显示文摘Dual circulating fluidized bed(DCFB)has emerged as an efficient reactor for biomass gasification due to its unique feature of high gas-solid contact efficiency and separated reactions in two reactors,yet the understanding of complex in-furnace phenomena is still lacking.In this study,biomass gasification in an industrial-scale DCFB system was numerically studied using a multiphase particle-in-cell(MP-PIC)method featuring thermochemical sub-models(e.g.,heat transfer,heterogeneous reactions,and homogeneous reactions)under the Eulerian-Lagrangian framework.After model validation,the hydrodynamics and thermochemical characteristics(i.e.,pressure,temperature,and species)in the DCFB are comprehensively investigated.The results show that size-/density-induced segregation makes solid fuels concentrate on the bed surface.Interphase momentum exchange leads to the continuous decrease of the gas pressure axially.In the gasifier and combustor,the lower heating value(LHV)of the gas products is 5.56 MJ/Nm^(3)and 0.2 MJ/Nm^(3)and the combustible gas concentration(CGC)is 65.5%and 1.86%,respectively.The temperature in the combustor is about 100 K higher than that in the gasifier.A higher solid concentration results in a smaller value of particle heat transfer coefficient(HTC).The HTCs range from 50 to 150 W/(m^(2) K)for a solid concentration larger than 0.3 in the combustor while the HTCs range from 100 to 200 W/(m^(2 )K)in the gasifier.The Reynolds number of biomass particles is two orders of magnitude larger than that of the sand particle.The numerical results shed light on the reactor design and process optimization of biomass gasification in DCFBs. | Jiahui Yu Shuai Wang Kun Luo Debo Li Jianren Fan | 2023 | Particuology2023,,12: | 0 |
