1Distribution of Traditional Chinese Medicine patterns in 324 cases with hepatitis B-related acute-on-chronic liver failure:a prospective,cross-sectional survey显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To determine the distribution of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) patterns in hepatitis B-related acute-on-chronic liver failure(HB-ACLF) in different stages for guiding clinical prescriptions and treatments.METHODS:A prospective,cross-sectional survey method was used in this study.A total of 324 cases with HB-ACLF in China were involved.RESULTS:The general frequency of TCM patterns in HB-ACLF were as follows:Heat Toxin Stagnation Pattern(134/324,41.36%),Damp-heat Obstruction Pattern(66/324,20.37%),Yang Qi Deficiency Pattern(52/324,16.05%),and Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency Pattern(26/324,8.02%).In the early stage of HB-ACLF,there was a remarkably higher percentage of excessive patterns than those in the middle and late stage.The incidence of Heat Toxin Stagnation reached 58.57%(82/140) in the early stage,while it was 33.96%(36/106) in the middle stage and 20.51%(16/78) in the late stage.In the early stage of HB-ACLF,excessive patterns,such as the Heat Toxin Stagnation Pattern,were more prevalent than those in the middle and late stages(P<α ' = 0.003).However,in the late stage of HB-ACLF,deficient patterns,such as the Yang Qi Deficiency Pattern,were more prevalent than those in the early and middle stages.The Yang Qi Deficiency Pattern had a higher rate of 41.03%(32/78) in the late stage compared with that of 20.75%(22/106) in the middle stage and 8.57%(12/140,P<α ' =0.003) in the early stage.The distribution of the other patterns was not significant between the three stages(P>0.003).CONCLUSIONS:There are four major patterns of HB-ACLF,including the Heat Toxin Stagnation Pattern,the Damp-heat Obstruction Pattern,the Yang Qi Deficiency Pattern,and the Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency Pattern.The Heat Toxin Stagnation and Yang Qi Deficiency Patterns are the representative patterns in the early and late stages of HB-ACLF.In the middle stage of HB-ACLF,the TCM patterns vary in a complicated manner,with no significant difference among the patterns.Treatment for HB-ACLF should vary with the different representative patterns in the early and late stages.Xiaoyu Hu Yang Zhang Guo Chen Yibei Li Sen Zhong 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4:6
2Fine-Tuned Expression of Programmed Death 1 Ligands in Mature Dendritic Cells Stimulated by CD40 Ligand is Critical for the Induction of an Efficient Tumor Specific Immune Response显示文摘During maturation,murine myeloid dendritic cells (DCs) upregulated the expressions of CD11c,CD25,CD40,CD80,CD86,MHC Ⅱ and programmed death 1 ligands 1 and 2 (PD-L1 and PD-L2). Differential expression patterns of PD-L1 and PD-L2 were found when DCs were triggered by CD40 ligand and TNF-α. PD-L1 expression was repressed and PD-L2 expression remained unchanged in mature CD40-ligated DCs,whereas TNF-α stimulated DCs kept high expression of PD-L1 and significantly enhanced PD-L2 expression on DCs. Proliferations of T lymphocytes stimulated by immature DCs were enhanced by blockade of the PD-1 and PD-1 ligand interaction. But inhibitive effects were found in T lymphocytes stimulated by CD40-ligated DCs. 3Effect of Pingan Fang, a Traditional Chinese Medicine compound, on behavioral sensitization and conditioned place preference induced by ethanol in mice显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of Pingan Fang(PG)on behavioral sensitization and conditioned place preference(CPP)induced by ethanol in mice,and to determine the intervention mechanism of PG on alcohol addiction.METHODS:A behavioral sensitization mouse model induced by ethanol was established to observe the effect of PG on the development and expression of behavioral sensitization induced by ethanol by recording the spontaneous activity of mice.The resident time of mice in a white box was measured to evaluate the effect of PG on developing CPP induced by ethanol.Concentrations of dopamine(DA),Glutamate(Glu),and?-aminobutyric acid(GABA)in the corresponding mesolimbic region of mice were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Although PG did not alter spontaneous activity in mice,it reduced the growth of spontaneous activity stimulated by ethanol.The residence time in the white box after-ethanol-training of mice in CPP experiments was decreased.CONCLUSION:Our data suggested that PG blocked the development and expression of behavioral sensitization induced by ethanol and the development of CPP in mice.The mechanism might be related to the decreased content of DA and Glu and increased content of GABA in the mesolimbic dopamine system.This suggests that PG might be useful for the prevention and treatment of alcohol addiction.Jia Lingyan Li Yibei Hu Xiaoyu Lin Wu Wen Dachao Zhong Sen 2016Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016,36,2:1
4Discrete-time inverse linear quadratic optimal control over fnite time-horizon under noisy output measurements显示文摘In this paper,the problem of inverse quadratic optimal control over fnite time-horizon for discrete-time linear systems is considered.Our goal is to recover the corresponding quadratic objective function using noisy observations.First,the identifability of the model structure for the inverse optimal control problem is analyzed under relative degree assumption and we show the model structure is strictly globally identifable.Next,we study the inverse optimal control problem whose initial state distribution and the observation noise distribution are unknown,yet the exact observations on the initial states are available.We formulate the problem as a risk minimization problem and approximate the problem using empirical average.It is further shown that the solution to the approximated problem is statistically consistent under the assumption of relative degrees.We then study the case where the exact observations on the initial states are not available,yet the observation noises are known to be white Gaussian distributed and the distribution of the initial state is also Gaussian(with unknown mean and covariance).EM-algorithm is used to estimate the parameters in the objective function.The efectiveness of our results are demonstrated by numerical examples.Han Zhang Yibei Li Xiaoming Hu 2021Control Theory and Technology2021,19,4:1

7Identifiability and Solvability in Inverse Linear Quadratic Optimal Control Problems显示文摘In this paper, the inverse linear quadratic(LQ) problem over finite time-horizon is studied.Given the output observations of a dynamic process, the goal is to recover the corresponding LQ cost function. Firstly, by considering the inverse problem as an identification problem, its model structure is shown to be strictly globally identifiable under the assumption of system invertibility. Next, in the noiseless case a necessary and sufficient condition is proposed for the solvability of a positive semidefinite weighting matrix and its unique solution is obtained with two proposed algorithms under the condition of persistent excitation. Furthermore, a residual optimization problem is also formulated to solve a best-fit approximate cost function from sub-optimal observations. 8Effect of thermo-mechanical processing parameters on the dynamic restoration mechanism in an Mg-4Y-2Nd-1Sm-0.5Zr alloy during hot compression显示文摘Microstructure evolution and dynamic restoration mechanism of solution-treated Mg-4Y-2Nd-1Sm-0.5Zr alloy have been studied under three TMP parameters consisting of deformation temperatures(350-500℃),strain rates(0.01-5 s^(-1)),and strains(0.2,0.4,and 0.8).A strong dynamic softening is observed in all stress-strain curves,even at higher strain rates(1 and 5 s^(-1))due to an adiabatic heating effect.Various stress-strain curves are applied to construct a processing map and develop an Arrhenius-type constitutive equation.With the prediction of the processing map,an optimal processing domain has been determined to be the temperature range 450-500℃and strain rate range 0.01-0.1 s^(-1)at a strain of 0.8.The volume fraction of DRX grains is the largest in the corresponding domain of high temperature and low strain rate.For the effect of TMP parameters on the dynamic restoration,the discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX)and continuous DRX(CDRX)synergistic effect occur throughout the whole process at high temperature and high strain rate.In terms of high temperature and low strain rate,DDRX characteristics at a low strain and then the DDRX+CDRX synergistic effect is observed at a higher strain.Although the DRX process is weak at low temperature and low strain rate,deformation twins have occurred and provided nucleation sites for DRX grains.Yunwei Gui Lingxiao Ouyang Yibei Xue Quanan Li 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,31:0
9Novel phthalimides regulating PD-1/PD-L1 interaction as potential immunotherapy agents显示文摘Programmed cell death 1(PD-1)/programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)have emerged as one of the most promising immune checkpoint targets for cancer immunotherapy.Despite the inherent advantages of small-molecule inhibitors over antibodies,the discovery of small-molecule inhibitors has fallen behind that of antibody drugs.Based on docking studies between small molecule inhibitor and PD-L1 protein,changing the chemical linker of inhibitor from a flexible chain to an aromatic ring may improve its binding capacity to PD-L1 protein,which was not reported before.A series of novel phthalimide derivatives from structure-based rational design was synthesized.P39 was identified as the best inhibitor with promising activity,which not only inhibited PD-1/PD-L1 interaction(IC_(50)=8.9 nmol/L),but also enhanced killing efficacy of immune cells on cancer cells.Co-crystal data demonstrated that P39 induced the dimerization of PD-L1 proteins,thereby blocking the binding of PD-1/PD-L1.Moreover,P39 exhibited a favorable safety profile with a LD_(50)>5000 mg/kg and showed significant in vivo antitumor activity through promoting CD8^(+)T cell activation.All these data suggest that P39 acts as a promising small chemical inhibitor against the PD-1/PD-L1 axis and has the potential to improve the immunotherapy efficacy of T-cells.Chengliang Sun Yao Cheng Xiaojia Liu Gefei Wang Wenjian Min Xiao Wang Kai Yuan Yi Hou Jiaxing Li Haolin Zhang Haojie Dong Liping Wang Chenguang Lou Yanze Sun Xinmiao Yu Hongbin Deng Yibei Xiao Peng Yang 2022Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2022,12,12:0
10Twin-twin geometric structure effect on the twinning behavior of an Mg-4Y-3Nd-2Sm-0.5Zr alloy traced by quasi-in-situ EBSD显示文摘We studied the microstructure evolution of Mg-4Y-3Nd-2Sm-0.5Zr alloy by quasi-in-situ electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)along with several strains under compression tests,which provided direct evidence for the influence of different twin-twin geometric structure on the twinning behavior.The results showed that the mechanical properties of the alloy were higher than traditional magnesium alloys(the maximum compressive strength reaches 402.5 MPa)due to the strengthening effect of Sm and Nd elements addition on solution strengthening,precipitation strengthening,and grain refinement.Combined with the quasi-in-situ EBSD technique,two different twin-twin geometric structures,‘parallel structure’and‘cross structure’,were observed directly in the alloy.In the later stage of deformation,for‘parallel structure’,residual stress and a large number of dislocations mainly existed in the twin boundary and tip position.For the‘cross structure’,there was a lot of dislocation density in the interior of twins after fusion.The twin growth rate of‘parallel structure’was much faster than that of‘cross structure’because the stress of twins was mainly concentrated on the tip of twin.When the movement for the tip of twin was blocked,the growth rate of twin would be obviously decreased.Moreover,the‘cross structure’was easy to produce closed space.Due to the constraints of surrounding twins,the confined space was easy to stress concentration,thus inhibiting the growth of twins.At the same time,the‘cross structure’of twins needed a more external force to continue to deform,which also served as a strengthening structure.Yunwei Gui Quanan Li Yibei Xue Lingxiao Ouyang 2023Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,4:0
