2Optimization and control of a reactive distillation process for the synthesis of dimethyl carbonate显示文摘Dimethyl carbonate is an environmentally benign and biodegradable chemical.Based on integration of reactive distillation and pressure-swing distillation technologies,a novel process for synthesis of dimethyl carbonate through transesterification with propylene carbonate and methanol has been developed by Huang et al.In this work,the optimization of this process was performed by minimizing the total TAC.The results show that the optimal design flowsheet can save energy consumption by 18.6% with the propylene carbonate conversion of 99.9%.Then,an effective plant-wide control structure for the process was developed.Dynamic simulation results demonstrate that the temperature/flow rate cascade control plus with simple temperature control can keep not only product purity but also the conversion of the reactant at their desired values in the face of the disturbance in reactant feed flow rate and feed composition.Zhixian Huang Yixiong Lin Xiaoda Wang Changshen Ye Ling Li 2017Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2017,25,8:8
3Non-axisymmetric Flow Characteristics in Centrifugal Compressor显示文摘The flow field distribution in centrifugal compressor is significantly affected by the non-axisymmetric geometry structure of the volute.The experimental and numerical simulation methods were adopted in this work to study the compressor flow field distribution with different flow conditions.The results show that the pressure distribution in volute is characterized by the circumferential non-uniform phenomenon and the pressure fluctuation on the high static pressure zone propagates reversely to upstream,which results in the non-axisymmetric flow inside the compressor.The non-uniform level of pressure distribution in large flow condition is higher than that in small flow condition,its effect on the upstream flow field is also stronger.Additionally,the non-uniform circumferential pressure distribution in volute brings the non-axisymmetric flow at impeller outlet.In different flow conditions,the circumferential variation of the absolute flow angle at impeller outlet is also different.Meanwhile,the non-axisymmetric flow characteristics in internal impeller can be also reflected by the distribution of the mass flow.The high static pressure region of the volute corresponds to the decrease of mass flow in upstream blade channel,while the low static pressure zone of the volute corresponds to the increase of the mass flow.In small flow condition,the mass flow difference in the blade channel is bigger than that in the large flow condition.WANG Leilei LAO Dazhong LIU Yixiong YANG Ce 2015Journal of Thermal Science2015,24,4:7
4Hot corrosion behavior of nanostructured Gd2O3 doped YSZ thermal barrier coating in presence of Na2SO4+V2O5 molten salts显示文摘Nickel-based superalloy DZ125 was first sprayed with a NiCrAlY bond coat and followed with a nanostructured 2 mol% Gd_2O_3-4.5 mol% Y_2 O_3-ZrO_2(2 GdYSZ) topcoat using air plasma spraying(APS). Hot corrosion behavior of the as-sprayed thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) were investigated in the presence of 50 wt%Na_2SO_4 + 50 wt% V_2O_5 as the corrosive molten salt at 900 ℃ for 100 h. The analysis results indicate that Gd doped YVO_4 and m-ZrO_2 crystals were formed as corrosion products due to the reaction of the corrosive salts with stabilizers(Y_2O_3, Gd_2O_3) of zirconia. Cross-section morphology shows that a thin layer called TGO was formed at the bond coat/topcoat interface. After hot corrosion test, the proportion of m-ZrO_2 phase in nanostructured 2GdYSZ coating is lower than that of nano-YSZ coating. 5Using in situ REE analysis to study the origin and diagenesis of dolomite of Lower Paleozoic,Tarim Basin显示文摘In situ REE concentrations of various dolomites from Tarim Basin were obtained by LA-ICP-MS analysis,and the data were normalized to standard seawater(Seawater Normalized=SWN).Most of the samples have a ΣREE range of less than 20 ppm.All samples show similar REESWN distributions with heavy REE depletion,and positive Ce anomaly,which indicates that they have the same dolomitization fluids(seawater).According to the origin and diagenetic process of dolomite,two types of dolomite are determined and described as follows:1) syndepositional dolomite,with the highest REE concentrations(more than 20 ppm),the cores of which are more enriched in REE compared with their cortexes,indicating that they underwent the dolomitization of calcareous sediments by hypersaline and subsequent diagenesis decreased the REE content of the cortex because of the low REE concentration of the diagenetic fluids;2) diagenetic dolomite,which can be subdivided into four groups.(1) burial dolomite which has higher REE concentrations than limestone,but lower than syndepositional dolomite.This shows that pore fluids with high salinity dolomitized the pre-existing limestone;(2) void filling dolomite which has the similar REE patterns with the matrix dolomite.In addition,the Eu anomaly is not obvious,suggesting that the dolomitization fluids originated from the diagenetic fluids;(3) recrystallized dolomite,whose REE concentration was obviously decreased,indicating that the REE concentration was decreased during the recrystallization processes;and(4) hydrothermal altered void-filling dolomite,which has the lowest REE concentration,but obvious positive Eu anomaly,reflecting its hydrothermal activity related origin.Thus,the diverse REE signatures,which were recorded in different dolomites,retain the information of their formation conditions and subsequent diagenetic processes.In situ REE analysis of dolomite is an effective probe into the origin and diagenetic process of dolomite.WANG XiaoLin JIN ZhiJun HU WenXuan ZHANG JunTao QIAN YiXiong ZHU JingQuan LI Qing 2009Science China Earth Sciences2009,52,5:7
6Effect of Gd_2O_3 on the microstructure and thermal properties of nanostructured thermal barrier coatings fabricated by air plasma spraying显示文摘The nanostructured 4–8 mol% Gd_2O_3-4.5 mol% Y_2O_3-ZrO_2(4–8 mol% Gd YSZ) coatings were developed by the atmospheric plasma spraying technique. The microstructure and thermal properties of plasmasprayed 4–8 mol% Gd YSZ coatings were investigated. The experimental results indicate that typical microstructure of the as-sprayed coatings were consisted of melted zones, nano-zones, splats, nano-pores,high-volume spheroidal pores and micro-cracks. The porosity of the 4, 6 and 8 mol% Gd YSZ coatings was about 9.3%, 11.7% and 13.3%, respectively. It was observed that the addition of gadolinia to the nano-YSZ could significantly reduce the thermal conductivity of nano-YSZ. The thermal conductivity of Gd YSZ decreased with increasing Gd_2O_3 addition. 8Spatio-temporal Variation of Landscape Heterogeneity under Influence of Human Activities in Xiamen City of China in Recent Decade显示文摘Xiamen is an economically competitive and highly urbanized city along the coastal area of Fujian Province, China. The research on spatio-temporal variation of landscape heterogeneity under the influence of human activities is of great importance to the further study on the relationship of landscape pattern and ecological process. It is also crucial to the discovery of spatial variation and intensity distribution of human activities. The research analyzed the intensity of human impacts and the spatial variation features and dynamics of landscape patterns by introducing statistical theories and approaches. We analyzed spatio-temporal variation of landscape heterogeneity using the geostatistical techniques, such as semivariogram and Kriging interpolation.Results show that there is a higher correlation between landscape heterogeneity indexes and human impact index. Both the indexes show a moderate spatial autocorrelation as well as an obvious characteristic of anisotropy. From 1998 to 2008, the spatial differentiation of the changes in the intensity of human activities and the changes in landscape heterogeneity shows that the landscape patterns in Xiamen are closely related with the urban land utilization methods, the condition of traffic and geographical location and the physical geographical condition such as the terrain and the ecological environment. 9Failure Detection and Correction for Appearance Based Facial Tracking显示文摘The appearance based facial tracking methods, such as active appearance models and candide models, are widely used in intelligent user interface and facial expression recognition. This paper proposes a novel method to detect and correct the failures in appearance based facial tracking. A sparse coding strategy is applied to learn an efficient feature representation for the difference between the warped image and the face template. The features are extracted by directly pro ject the difference image to the space spanned by the dictionary of the sparse coding. An iterative regression based method is proposed to detect and correct the failures according to the features. 10Standard pancreatoduodenectomy versus extended pancreatoduodenectomy with modified retroperitoneal nerve resection in patients with pancreatic head cancer:a multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Background:The extent of pancreatoduodenectomy for pancreatic head cancer remains controversial,and more high-level clinical evidence is needed.This study aimed to evaluate the outcome of extended pancreatoduodenectomy(EPD)with retroperitoneal nerve resection in pancreatic head cancer.Methods:This multicenter randomized trial was performed at 6 Chinese highvolume hospitals that enrolled patients between October 3,2012,and September 21,2017.Four hundred patients with stage I or II pancreatic head cancer and without specific pancreatic cancer treatments(preoperative chemotherapy or chemoradiation)within three months were randomly assigned to undergo standard pancreatoduodenectomy(SPD)or EPD,with the latter followed by dissection of additional lymph nodes(LNs),nerves and soft tissues 270◦on the right side surrounding the superior mesenteric artery and celiac axis.The primary endpoint was overall survival(OS)by intention-to-treat(ITT).The secondary endpoints were disease-free survival(DFS),mortality,morbidity,and postoperative pain intensity.Results:TheR1 ratewas slightly lower with EPD(8.46%)thanwith SPD(12.56%).The morbidity and mortality rates were similar between the two groups.The median OS was similar in the EPD and SPD groups by ITT in the whole study cohort(23.0 vs.20.2 months,P=0.100),while the median DFS was superior in the EPD group(16.1 vs.13.2 months,P=0.031).Patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL had significantly improved OS and DFS with EPD(EPD vs.SPD,30.8 vs.20.9 months,P=0.009;23.4 vs.13.5 months,P<0.001).The EPD group exhibited significantly lower locoregional(16.48%vs.35.20%,P<0.001)andmesenteric LNrecurrence rates(3.98%vs.10.06%,P=0.022).The EPD group exhibited less back pain 6 months postoperation than the SPD group.Conclusions:EPD for pancreatic head cancer did not significantly improve OS,but patients with EPD treatment had significantly improved DFS.In the subgroup analysis,improvements in bothOS and DFS in the EPD armwere observed in patients with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL.EPD could be used as an effective surgical procedure for patients with pancreatic head cancer,especially those with preoperative CA19–9<200.0 U/mL.Qing Lin Shangyou Zheng Xianjun Yu Meifu Chen Yu Zhou Quanbo Zhou Chonghui Hu Jing Gu Zhongdong Xu LinWang Yimin Liu Qingyu Liu MinWang Guolin Li He Cheng Dongkai Zhou Guodong Liu Zhiqiang Fu Yu Long Yixiong Li Weilin Wang Renyi Qin Zhihua Li Rufu Chen 2023Cancer Communications2023,43,2:3

14Investigation on Inlet Recirculation Characteristics of Double Suction Centrifugal Compressor with Unsymmetrical Inlet显示文摘The inlet recirculation characteristics of double suction centrifugal compressor with unsymmetrical inlet structures were studied in numerical method,mainly focused on three issues including the amounts and differences of the inlet recirculation in different working conditions,the circumferential non-uniform distributions of the inlet recirculation,the recirculation velocity distributions of the upstream slot of the rear impeller.The results show that there are some differences between the recirculation of the front impeller and that of the rear impeller in whole working conditions..In design speed,the recirculation flow rate of the rear impeller is larger than that of the front impeller in the large flow range,but in the small flow range,the recirculation flow rate of the rear impeller is smaller than that of the front impeller.In different working conditions,the recirculation velocity distributions of the front and rear impeller are non-uniform along the circumferential direction and their non-uniform extents are quite different.The circumferential non-uniform extent of the recirculation velocity varies with the working conditions change.The circumferential non-uniform extent of the recirculation velocity of front impeller and its distribution are determined by the static pressure distribution of the front impeller,but that of the rear impeller is decided by the coupling effects of the inlet flow distortion of the rear impeller,the circumferential unsymmetrical distribution of the upstream slot and the asymmetric structure of the volute.In the design flow and small flow conditions,the recirculation velocities at different circumferential positions of the mean line of the upstream slot cross-section of the rear impeller are quite different,and the recirculation velocities distribution forms at both sides of the mean line are different.The recirculation velocity distributions in the cross-section of the upstream slot depend on the static pressure distributions in the intake duct.YANG Ce WANG Yingjun LAO Dazhong TONG Ding WEI Longyu LIU Yixiong 2016Journal of Thermal Science2016,25,4:1
