2Ultramafic xenoliths in Mesozoic diorite in west Shandong Province显示文摘Ultramafic xenoliths are common in Tietonggou intrusion, Laiwu, Shandong Prov-ince. Peridotite xenoliths develop two-stage metasomatism popularly: (i) The early metasoma-tism is characterized by intergranular clinopyroxene and phlogopite; (ii) The later metasomatism is characterized by orthopyroxene veins with a few plagioclases and amphiboles. These ul-tramafic xenoliths are thought to be mostly from the crust-mantle transitional zone on the basis of their combination, mineral chemistry, equilibrium temperature, and metasomatic characteristics. Major elements, rare earth elements, and Sr-Nd isotopic composition of the ultramafic xenoliths indicate that there is a petrogenetic relationship between the silica-enriched xenoliths and their host diorites. 3A rare Waxy allele coordinately improves rice eating and cooking quality and grain transparency显示文摘In rice(Oryza sativa), amylose content(AC) is the major factor that determines eating and cooking quality(ECQ). The diversity in AC is largely attributed to natural allelic variation at the Waxy(Wx)locus. Here we identified a rare Wx allele, Wx^(mw) ,which combines a favorable AC, improved ECQ and grain transparency. Based on a phylogenetic analysis of Wx genomic sequences from 370 rice accessions, we speculated that Wx^(mw) may have derived from recombination between two important natural Wx alleles, Wx^(in) and Wx^(b). We validated the effects of Wx^(mw) on rice grain quality using both transgenic lines and near-isogenic lines(NILs). When introgressed into the japonica Nipponbare(NIP) background, Wx^(mw) resulted in a moderate AC that was intermediate between that of NILs carrying the Wx^(b)allele and NILs with the Wx^(mp) allele. Notably, mature grains of NILs fixed for Wx^(mw) had an improved transparent endosperm relative to soft rice. Further, we introduced Wx^(mw) into a high-yielding japonica cultivar via molecular marker-assisted selection: the introgressed lines exhibited clear improvements in ECQ and endosperm transparency. 4Genetic analysis and molecular mapping of a presenescing leaf gene psll in rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘A rice psl1 (presenescing leaf) mutant was obtained from a japonica variety Zhonghua 11 via radiation of 60Co-γ in M2 generation. Every leaf of the mutant began to wither after it reached the big-gest length,while the leaves of the wild variety could keep green for 25―35 d. In this study,genetic analysis and gene mapping were carried out for the mutant identified. The SSR marker analysis showed that the mutant was controlled by a single recessive gene (psl1) located on chromosome 2. Fine mapping of the psl1 locus was conducted with 34 new STS markers developed around psl1 anchored region based on the sequence diversity between Nippon-bare and 93-11. The psl1 was further mapped be-tween two STS markers,STS2-19 and STS2-26,with genetic distances of 0.43 and 0.11 cM,respectively,while cosegregated with STS2-25. A BAC contig was found to span the psl1 locus,the region being delim-ited to 48 kb. 5Synergistic effect between Sn and K promoters on supported platinum catalyst for isobutane dehydrogenation显示文摘Catalytic dehydrogenation of isobutane has recently received considerable attention because of the increasing demand for isobutene.In this study,the synergistic effect between Sn and K on PtSnK/γ-Al2O3 catalysts has been investigated by changing the content of Sn.It was found that with the presence of potassium,suitable addition of Sn could not only increase the metal dispersion,but also reduce the catalyst acidity.In these cases,the synergistic effect could also strengthen the interactions between the metal and support,which resulted in an increase in both catalytic activity and stability.In our experiments,Pt-0.6SnK/Al catalyst exhibited the lowest deactivation rate (12.4%) and showed a selectivity to isobutene higher than 94% at the isobutane conversion of about 45.3% after running the reaction for 6 h.However,with the excessive loading of Sn,surface property of active sites and the interactions between metal and support were changed.As a result,the initial optimal ratio between the metallic function and acid function would be destroyed,which was disadvantageous to the reaction.Yiwei Zhang Yuming Zhou Lihui Wan Mengwei Xue Yongzheng Duan Xuan Liu 2011Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,6:12
6Effect of Ga Addition on Catalytic Performance of PtSnNa/ZSM-5 Catalyst for Propane Dehydrogenation显示文摘PtSnNaGa/ZSM-5 catalysts with different contents of Ga were prepared and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption, hydrogen chemisorption, ammonia temperature-programmed desorption (NH3-TPD), hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR), and temperature-programmed oxidation (TPO) techniques. The performances of these catalysts for propane dehydrogenation were investigated. The test results indicated that the addition of Ga not only could improve the catalytic stability and propene selectivity, but also could effectively prevent the catalysts from coking. It was found that the PtSnNaGa(0.5 m%)/ZSM-5 catalyst exhibited the best performance in terms of propene selectivity and propane conversion. 7Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)in Chinese narcissus and its use in functional analysis of NtMYB3显示文摘Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)is a natural defense mechanism of plants,which can cause sequence-specific degradation of viral RNA and is often used for studying the functional genome.At present,the VIGS system mediated by Tobacco rattle virus(TRV)has been successfully established in many plant species.However,the VIGS system in Chinese narcissus had not been reported yet.In this paper,the first use of the TRV-VIGS system in Chinese narcissus is described in detail.By injecting pTRV2-GFP into narcissus leaves,we confirmed that TRV could infect narcissus and move in narcissus plants.After the inoculation of pTRV2-Nt PDS by two methods,phenomena such as photo-bleaching appeared in narcissus leaves and qRT-PCR results proved that PDS gene of narcissus was successfully silenced.Besides,pTRV2-NtMYB3 was inoculated into basal plates of narcissus to study the function of NtMYB3;the results showed that NtMYB3 is an inhibitor of flavonoids biosynthesis,which can increase the content of proanthocyanidins in basal plates of narcissus by repressing the expression level of NtFLS.These results indicate that the TRV-VIGS system has been successfully established in Chinese narcissus and successfully applied to the functional study of NtMYB3.Ping Zhou Jiayu Peng Minjie Zeng Lixuan Wu Yuxin Fan Lihui Zeng 2021Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,6:4

9Generation of tooth-like structures from integration-free human urine induced pluripotent stem cells显示文摘Background:Tooth is vital not only for a good smile,but also good health.Yet,we lose tooth regularly due to accidents or diseases.An ideal solution to this problem is to regenerate tooth with patients’own cells.Here we describe the generation of tooth-like structures from integration-free human urine induced pluripotent stem cells(ifhU-iPSCs).Results:We first differentiated ifhU-iPSCs to epithelial sheets,which were then recombined with E14.5 mouse dental mesenchymes.Tooth-like structures were recovered from these recombinants in 3 weeks with success rate up to 30%for 8 different iPSC lines,comparable to H1 hESC.We further detected that ifhU-iPSC derived epithelial sheets differentiated into enamel-secreting ameloblasts in the tooth-like structures,possessing physical properties such as elastic modulus and hardness found in the regular human tooth.Conclusion:Our results demonstrate that ifhU-iPSCs can be used to regenerate patient specific dental tissues or even tooth for further drug screening or regenerative therapies.Jinglei Cai Yanmei Zhang Pengfei Liu Shubin Chen Xuan Wu Yuhua Sun Ang Li Ke Huang Rongping Luo Lihui Wang Ying Liu Ting Zhou Shicheng Wei Guangjin Pan Duanqing Pei 2013Cell Regeneration2013,2,1:4
10Evaluation of triage strategies for high-risk human papillomavirus-positive women in cervical cancer screening:A multicenter randomized controlled trial in different resource settings in China显示文摘Objective:We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of different triage strategies for high-risk human papillomavirus(hrHPV)-positive women in primary healthcare settings in China.Methods:This study was undertaken in 11 rural and 9 urban sites.Women aged 35-64 years old were enrolled.HrHPV-positive women were randomly allocated to liquid-based cytology(LBC),visual inspection with acetic acid and Lugol’s iodine(VIA/VILI)(rural only)triage,or directly referred to colposcopy(direct COLP).At 24 months,hrHPV testing,LBC and VIA/VILI were conducted for combined screening.Results:In rural sites,1,949 hrHPV-positive women were analyzed.A total of 852,218 and 480 women were randomly assigned to direct COLP,LBC and VIA/VILI.At baseline,colposcopy referral rates of LBC or VIA/VILI triage could be reduced by 70%-80%.LBC(n=3 and n=7)or VIA/VILI(n=8 and n=26)could significantly decrease the number of colposcopies needed to detect one cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)2 or worse and CIN3+compared with direct COLP(n=14 and n=23).For the 24-month cumulative detection rate of CIN2+,VIA/VILI triage was 0.50-fold compared with LBC triage and 0.46-fold with the direct COLP.When stratified by age,baseline LBC triage+performed best(P<0.001),peaking among women aged 35-44 years(Ptrend=0.002).In urban sites,1,728 women were hrHPV genotyping test positive.A total of 408,571 and 568women were randomly assigned to direct COLP for HPV16/18+,direct COLP for other hrHPV subtypes+,and LBC triage for other hrHPV subtypes+.LBC(n=12 and n=31)significantly decreased the number of colposcopies needed to detect one CIN2+and CIN3+compared with direct COLP(n=14 and n=44).HPV16/18+increased the 24-month cumulative detection rate of CIN2+(17.89%,P<0.001).Conclusions:LBC triage for hrHPV-positive women in rural settings and direct COLP for HPV16/18+women and LBC triage for other hrHPV subtype+women in urban settings might be feasible strategies.Le Dang Linghua Kong Yuqian Zhao Yi Dai Li Ma Lihui Wei Shulan Zhang Jihong Liu Mingrong Xi Long Chen Xianzhi Duan Qing Xiao Guzhalinuer Abulizi Guonan Zhang Ying Hong Qi Zhou Xing Xie Li Li Mayinuer Niyazi Zhifen Zhang Jiyu Tuo Yiling Ding Youlin Qiao Jinghe Lang 2022Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2022,34,5:2

12Considering time-lag effects can improve the accuracy of NPP simulation using a light use efficiency model显示文摘Most terrestrial models synchronously calculate net primary productivity(NPP)using the input climate variable,without the consideration of time-lag effects,which may increase the uncertainty of NPP simulation.Based on Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and climate data,we used the time lag cross-correlation method to investigate the time-lag effects of temperature,precipitation,and solar radiation in different seasons on NDVI values.Then,we selected the Carnegie-Ames-Stanford approach(CASA)model to estimate the NPP of China from 2002 to 2017.The results showed that the response of vegetation growth to climate factors had an obvious lag effect,with the longest time lag in solar radiation and the shortest time lag in temperature.The time lag of vegetation to the climate variable showed great tempo-spatial heterogeneities among vegetation types,climate types,and vegetation growth periods.Based on the validation using eddy covariance data,the results showed that the simulation accuracy of the CASA model considering the time-lag effects was effectively improved.By considering the time-lag effects,the average total amount of NPP modeled by CASA during 2001-2017 in China was 3.977 PgC a^(−1),which is 11.37%higher than that of the original model.This study highlights the importance of considering the time lag for the simulation of vegetation growth,and provides a useful tool for the improvement of the vegetation productivity model.LI Chuanhua LIU Yunfan ZHU Tongbin ZHOU Min DOU Tianbao LIU Lihui WU Xiaodong 2023Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,5:1

15Effects Associated with Nanostructure Fabrication Using In Situ Liquid Cell TEM Technology显示文摘We studied silicon,carbon,and SiC xnanostructures fabricated using liquid-phase electron-beam-induced deposition technology in transmission electron microscopy systems.Nanodots obtained from fixed electron beam irradiation followed a universal size versus beam dose trend,with precursor concentrations from pure Si Cl4to 0%SiC l4in CH2Cl2,and electron beam intensity ranges of two orders of magnitude,showing good controllability of the deposition.Secondary electrons contributed to the determination of the lateral sizes of the nanostructures,while the primary beam appeared to have an effect in reducing the vertical growth rate.These results can be used to generate donut-shaped nanostructures.Using a scanning electron beam,line structures with both branched and unbranched morphologies were also obtained.The liquid-phase electron-beaminduced deposition technology is shown to be an effective tool for advanced nanostructured material generation.Xin Chen Lihui Zhou Ping Wang Hongliang Cao Xiaoli Miao Feifei Wei Xia Chen 2015Nano-Micro Letters2015,7,4:1

17Heavy Metal Migration Characteristics of Co-Combustion between Sewage Sludge and High Alkaline Coal on Circulating Fluidized Bed显示文摘The migration characteristics of heavy metals in co-combustion of sewage sludge and high alkali coal in circulating fluidized bed were studied by experiments and simulations. Temperature plays a crucial role in thermodynamic equilibrium distribution and migration characteristics of heavy metals. At the temperature range of 700℃-1200℃, Hg is completely gaseous and the proportion of Pb, Ni, and Cd in the gas phase is also high. As is mainly elemental in the system, and the proportion of Cr in the solid phase is large. Zn compounds are diverse and mostly solid materials. The volatility of Cu is not strong, and it will become gaseous when the temperature exceeds 1700℃. The proportion of heavy metals in the gas phase decreases as the excess air ratio increases. In an oxygen-rich atmosphere, most of Zn and Ni are converted to oxides;Pb and Cd are converted to crystalline silicate;Cu is converted to partial aluminate;Cr compound is decomposed to form Cr_(2)O_(3);they are good for the solidification and controlling of heavy metals. The elemental Hg is converted to HgCl_(2) and the elemental As is converted to AsCl_(3). Temperature also has a great influence on the volatilization rate of heavy metals.
