1China National Medical Products Administration approval summary:anlotinib for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer after two lines of chemotherapy显示文摘Background:On May 8,2018,the China National Medical Products Administration(NMPA)approved anlotinib,an orally administered anti-angiogenesis inhibitor,for the treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung can-cer(NSCLC)who have progressed after treatment with two or more lines of prior systemic chemotherapy.Main body of the abstract:China NMPA reviewed and inspected a regional double-blinded,placebo-controlled,Phase III trial comparing the overall survival(OS)of NSCLC patients between the anlotinib and placebo arms.A total of 437 patients were randomized(2:1)to receive either anlotinib(n=294)or placebo(n=143)once daily on a 2-week on and 1-week off schedule.Patients with epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)or activating anaplastic lymphoma kinase(ALK)genomic tumor aberrations should have disease progression on NMPA-approved therapy.Anlotinib is the first NMPA-approved drug for patients with advanced NSCLC who have progressed on at least two lines of prior systemic chemotherapies in China.The approval was based on a statistically and clinically significant improvement in median OS with anlotinib(9.46 months)compared with placebo[6.37 months;hazard ratio(HR])=0.70,95%confidence interval(CI)=0.55-0.89;two-sided log-rank P=0.002].The confirmed objective response rate(ORR)was 9.2%in the anlotinib arm and 0.7%in the placebo arm.The median duration of response(DoR)was 4.83 months,with a 95%CI of 3.31-6.97 months.The toxicity profile of anlotinib was consistent with that of known anti-angiogenesis inhibitors.Common adverse drug reactions(ADRs)in anlotinib-treated patients included hypertension(67.4%),hand-foot syndrome(43.9%),hemoptysis(14.0%),thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)elevation(46.6%),and corrected QT interval(QTc)prolongation(26.2%).Short conclusion:Anlotinib demonstrated a clinically significant OS prolongation as a novel therapeutic option for advanced or metastatic NSCLC following at least two lines of chemotherapy.Ming Zhou Xiaoyuan Chen Hong Zhang Lin Xia Xin Tong Limin Zou Ruimin Hao Jianhong Pan Xiao Zhao Dongmei Chen Yuanyuan Song Yueli Qi Ling Tang Zhifang Liu Rong Gao Yuankai Shi Zhimin Yang 2019Cancer Communications2019,39,1:35

3Application of next-generation sequencing technology to precision medicine in cancer: joint consensus of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology显示文摘Next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology is capable of sequencing millions or billions of DNA molecules simultaneously.Therefore, it represents a promising tool for the analysis of molecular targets for the initial diagnosis of disease, monitoring of disease progression, and identifying the mechanism of drug resistance. On behalf of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) and the China Actionable Genome Consortium(CAGC), the present expert group hereby proposes advisory guidelines on clinical applications of NGS technology for the analysis of cancer driver genes for precision cancer therapy. This group comprises an assembly of laboratory cancer geneticists, clinical oncologists, bioinformaticians,pathologists, and other professionals. After multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, the expert group has reached a preliminary consensus on the need of NGS in clinical diagnosis, its regulation, and compliance standards in clinical sample collection. 4Microstructural Evolution of 6061 Alloy during Isothermal Heat Treatment显示文摘The semi-solid billet of 6061 aluminum alloy was prepared by the near-liquidus semi-continuous casting(LSC) with rosette or near-spheroide grains.The pre-deformation processing was applied before partial remelting to further improve the microstructure and properties of the semi-solid alloy.The effects of different processing parameters,such as holding temperature and holding time,on the semisolid microstructures during partial remelting have been investigated.It was found that the optimal partial remelting parameters should be 630℃ and 10-15 min for 6061 alloy cold rolled with 60% reduction in height of pre-deformation.The coarsening rates were anasysed by Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner(LSW) theory.The pre-deformed 6061 alloy exhibits lower coarsening rate constants than that of the as-cast one,and also lower than other alloys processed by different method found in previous literature.It is because the coarsening rate is associated with the initial microstructure and composition of the alloy.The secondary phases in the alloy inhibit the migration of the liquid film grain boundaries.The microstructure obtained by using the combination of near-liquidus semicontinuous casting and pre-deformation treatment is better than that without pre-deformation processing,which demonstrates that the used method is promising for fabricating high quality semi-solid alloys.Na Wang Zhimin Zhou Guimin Lu 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,1:11

6A Multicenter Study of Viral Aetiology of Community-Acquired Pneumonia in Hospitalized Children in Chinese Mainland显示文摘Community-acquired pneumonia(CAP) is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in children worldwide.In this study,we aimed to describe the aetiology of viral infection of pediatric CAP in Chinese mainland.During November2014 to June 2016,the prospective study was conducted in 13 hospitals.The hospitalized children under 18 years old who met the criteria for CAP were enrolled.The throat swabs or nasopharyngeal aspirates(NPAs) were collected which were then screened 18 respiratory viruses using multiplex PCR assay.Viral pathogens were present in 56.6%(1539/2721) of the enrolled cases,with the detection rate of single virus in 39.8% of the cases and multiple viruses in 16.8% of the cases.The most frequently detected virus was respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)(15.2%,414/2721).The highest detection rate of virus was in <6-month-age group(70.7%,292/413).RSV,human metapneumovirus(HMPV),human parainfluenza viruses(HPIVs) and influenza B virus(Flu B) showed the similar prevalence patterns both in north and south China,but HPIVs,Flu A,human bocavirus(HBoV),human adenovirus(HAdV) and human coronaviruses(HCoVs) showed the distinct circulating patterns in north and south China.Human enterovirus/human rhinovirus(HEV/HRV)(27.6%,27/98),HBoV(18.4%,18/98),RSV(16.3%,16/98) and HMPV(14.3%,14/98) were the most commonly detected viruses in severe pneumonia cases with single virus infection.In conclusion,viral pathogens are frequently detected in pediatric CAP cases and may therefore play a vital role in the aetiology of CAP.RSV was the most important virus in hospitalized children with CAP in Chinese mainland.Yun Zhu Baoping Xu Changchong Li Zhimin Chen Ling Cao Zhou Fu Yunxiao Shang Aihuan Chen Li Deng Yixiao Bao Yun Sun Limin Ning Shuilian Yu Fang Gu Chunyan Liu Ju Yin Adong Shen Zhengde Xie Kunling Shen 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,6:7
7A NOVEL SVM FOR GROUND PENETRATING SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR LANDMINE DETECTION显示文摘The use of vehicle- or air-borne Ground Penetrating Synthetic Aperture Radar (GPSAR) to quickly detect landmines over large areas is becoming a trend. However, producing too many false alarms in GPSAR landmine detection is a major challenge in practical applications of GPSAR. Support Vector Machine (SVM), employing structural risk minimization theory, does not need large amounts of training data, which makes it suitable for solving the landmine detection problem. In this paper, a novel SVM with a hypersphere instead of a hyperplane classification boundary is proposed for landmine detection in GPSAR. The HyperSphere-SVM (HS-SVM) can be trained with both landmine and clutter data, or with landmine data only, which are called the two-class HS-SVM and the one-class HS-SVM, respectively. The HS-SVM has better generalization capability than the traditional HyperPlane-SVM (HP-SVM) with respect to varying operating conditions. 8Mapping and analysis of a spatiotemporal H3K27ac and gene expression spectrum in pigs显示文摘The limited knowledge of genomic noncoding and regulatory regions has restricted our ability to decipher the genetic mechanisms underlying complex traits in pigs. In this study, we characterized the spatiotemporal landscape of putative enhancers and promoters and their target genes by combining H3K27ac-targeted Ch IP-Seq and RNA-Seq in fetal(prenatal days 74–75) and adult(postnatal days 132–150) tissues(brain, liver, heart, muscle and small intestine) sampled from Asian aboriginal Bama Xiang and European highly selected Large White pigs of both sexes. We identified 101,290 H3K27ac peaks, marking 18,521promoters and 82,769 enhancers, including peaks that were active across all tissues and developmental stages(which could indicate safe harbor locus for exogenous gene insertion) and tissue-and developmental stage-specific peaks(which regulate gene pathways matching tissue-and developmental stage-specific physiological functions). We found that H3K27ac and DNA methylation in the promoter region of the XIST gene may be involved in X chromosome inactivation and demonstrated the utility of the present resource for revealing the regulatory patterns of known causal genes and prioritizing candidate causal variants for complex traits in pigs. In addition, we identified an average of 1,124 super-enhancers per sample and found that they were more likely to show tissue-specific activity than ordinary peaks. 10Single atom catalytic oxidation mechanism of formaldehyde on Al doped graphene at room temperature显示文摘Formaldehyde(HCHO) is one kind of common indoor toxic pollutant,the catalytic oxidation degradation of formaldehyde at room temperature is desired.In this work,a new single atomic catalyst(SAC),Al doped graphene,for the catalytic oxidation of HCHO molecules was proposed through density function theory(DFT) calculations.It is found that Al atoms can be adsorbed on graphene stably without aggre s sion.Then HCHO can be effectively oxidized into CO2 and H2 O in the presence of O2 molecules on Al doped graphene with a low energy barrier of 0.82 eV and releasing energy of 2.29 eV with the pathway of HCHO→HCOOH→CO→CO2.The oxidation reaction can happen promptly with reaction time τ=56.9 s at the speed control step at room temperature.Therefore,this work proposed a high-performance catalyst Al-doped graphene without any noble metal for HCHO oxidation at ambient temperature,and corresponding oxidation pathway and mechanism are also deeply understood.Guanlan Liu Jtmhui Zhou Weina Zhao Zhimin Ao Taicheng An 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,7:3
11New edge detection method for high-resolution SAR images显示文摘A new edge detection method combining the scan ni ng window central edge (SWCE) detector and an improved active contour model is p roposed. The method first emploies the SWCE detector based on the difference of area pixel value means to perform an optimal edge detection, and then proposes an improved active contour model with modified energy functions to refine the lo cation of the edges. The initial nodes of the improved active contour model are automatically found from the vectorised results of the SWCE detector. 12Comparison of outcome of patients with acute minor ischaemic stroke treated with intravenous t-PA, DAPT or aspirin显示文摘Background Whether to treat minor stroke with intravenous tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA)treatment or antiplatelet therapy is a dilemma.Our study aimed to explore whether intravenous t-PA treatment,dual antiplatelet therapy(DAPT)and aspirin have different efficacies on outcomes in patients with minor stroke.Methods A post hoc analysis of patients with acute minor stroke treated with intravenous t-PA within 4.5 hours from a nationwide multicentric electronic medical record and patients with acute minor stroke treated with DAPT and aspirin from the Clopidogrel with Aspirin in Acute Minor Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack Database.Minor stroke was defined by a score of 0-3 on the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale at randomisation.Favourable functional outcome(defined as modified Rankin Scale(mRS)score of 0-1 or 0-2 at 3 months).Results Compared with those treated with intravenous t-PA,no significant association with 3-month favourable functional outcome(defined as mRS score of 0-1)was found neither in patients treated with aspirin(87.8%vs 89.4%;OR,0.83;95% CI,0.46 to 1.50;p=0.53)nor those treated with DAPT(87.4%vs 89.4%;OR,0.84;95% CI,0.46 to 1.52;p=0.56).Similar results were observed for the favourable functional outcome defined as mRS score of 0-2 at 3 months.Conclusions In our study,no significant advantage of intravenous t-PA over DAPT or aspirin was found.Due to insufficient sample size,our study is probably unable to draw such a conclusion that that intravenous t-PA was superior or non-superior to DAPT.Peng Wang Mengyuan Zhou Yuesong Pan Xia Meng Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Hao Li Yongjun Wang Zhimin Wang Yilong Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:3
13The return and loss of litter phosphorus in different types of sand dunes in Horqin Sandy Land,northeastern China显示文摘Litter phosphorus(P) return is important to maintain the P cycle and balance in the sandy land of arid areas.In this study,we determined the loss and return of litter P in sand dune areas and elucidated their relationship.We investigated litter production and litter P amount,and simulated leaf litter moving dynamics to understand the relationships between the loss of litter P and the total litter P,and between the return of litter P and the total litter P in active(AD),semi-stabilized(SSD) and stabilized(SD) dunes in Inner Mongolia,northeastern China.The vegetation litter P was 12.6,94.5,and 201.6 mg P/m2 in AD,SSD,and SD,respectively.A significant movement and loss of leaf litter P with time occurred on the three types of sand dunes.As a result,the loss of P was 7.4,46.9,and 69.8 mg P/m2 and the return of P was 5.5,47.6,and 131.8 mg P/m2 in AD,SSD,and SD,respectively.The relationship between both loss and return of P and total litter P in AD,SSD,and SD was revealed by linear regression.The slope of the regression line indicated the rate of loss or return of litter P.From AD to SD,the loss rate showed a declining slope(0.52,0.32,and 0.17 for AD,SSD,and SD,respectively),and the return rate showed a rising slope(0.48,0.67,and 0.83 for AD,SSD,and SD,respectively).The loss of litter P should be regarded in the local management of vegetation and land in sand dune areas.Improved vegetation restoration measures are necessary to decrease litter P loss to maintain the stability of ecosystems in sand dune areas.QuanLai ZHOU DeMing JIANG ZhiMin LIU Alamusa XueHua LI YongMing LUO HongMei WANG 2012Journal of Arid Land2012,4,4:3
14Formation and cytotoxicity of a new disinfection by-product (DBP) phenazine by chloramination of water containing diphenylamine显示文摘Disinfection by-products (DBPs) in drinking water have caused worldwide concern due to their potential carcinogenic effects. The formation of phenazine from diphenylamine (DPhA) chloramination was studied and its cytotoxicities for two human cancer cells were also investigated. Phenazine was detected synchronously with the consumption of DPhA by chloramination, which further confirmed that the new DBP phenazine can be produced along with N-nitrosodiphenylamine (NDPhA) from DPhA chloramination. The formation of phenazine had a maximum molar yield with solution pH increasing from 5.0 to 9.0, with phenazine as the main product for DPhA chloramination at lower pH, but higher pH favored the formation of NDPhA. Thus, solution pH is the key factor in controlling the formation of phenazine and NDPhA. Both the initial DPhA and chloramine concentrations did not show a significant effect on the molar yields of phenazine, although increasing the chloramine concentration could speed up the reaction rate of DPhA with chloramines. The cytotoxicity assays showed that phenazine had significant cell-specific toxicity towards T24 (bladder cancer cell lines) and HepG2 (hepatic tumor cell lines) cells with IC50 values of 0.50 and 2.04 mmol/L, respectively, and T24 cells being more sensitive to phenazine than HepG2 cells. The IC50 values of phenazine, DPhA, and NDPhA for T24 cells were of the same order of magnitude and the cytotoxicity of phenazine for T24 cells was slightly lower than that of NDPhA (IC50, 0.16 mmol/L), suggesting that phenazine in drinking water may have an adverse effect on human health.Wenjun Zhou Linjie Lou Lifang Zhu Zhimin Li Lizhong Zhu 2012Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,7:3

16Ultrathin FeS nanosheets with high chemodynamic activity for sensitive colorimetric detection of H_(2)O_(2) and glutathione显示文摘Iron chalcogenides have attracted great interest as potential substitutes of nature enzymes in the colorimetric biological sensing due to their unique chemodynamic characteristics.Herein,we report the preparation of ultrathin Fe S nanosheets(NSs)by a simple one-pot hydrothermal method and the prepared Fe S NSs exhibit strong Fenton-reaction activity to catalyze hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))for generation of hydroxyl radical(^(·)OH).Based on the chromogenic reaction of resultant^(·)OH with 3,3,5,5-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB),we develop colorimetric biosensors for highly sensitive detection of H_(2)O_(2)and glutathione(GSH).The fabricated biosensors show wide linear ranges for the detection of H_(2)O_(2)(5–150μmol/L)and GSH(5–50μmol/L).Their detection limits for H_(2)O_(2)and GSH reach as low as0.19μmol/L and 0.14μmol/L,respectively.The experimental results of sensing intracellular H_(2)O_(2)and GSH demonstrate that this colorimetric method can realize the accurate detection of H_(2)O_(2)and GSH in normal cells(L02 and 3T3)and cancer cells(MCF-7 and He La).Our results have demonstrated that the synthesized Fe S NSs is a promising material to construct colorimetric biosensors for the sensitive detection of H_(2)O_(2)and GSH,holding great promising for medical diagnosis in cancer therapy.Yefan Duan Qi Li Panpan He Yan Li Jingrun Song Jing Wang Junjie Liu Jiang Zhou Fei Chen Zhusheng Huang Jianfei Sun Ying Zhang Zhimin Luo 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:2
17Fabrication of Cu/rGO/MoS2 nanohybrid with energetic visible-light response for degradation of rhodamine B显示文摘A novel visible-light-driven Cu/rGO/MoS2(CRM) ternary nanostructure as a photocatalyst with high catalytic activity towards environmental purification using solar energy was successfully synthesized through a facile solvothermal method.It was found that the nanoflower structure of MoS2 increased the number of its exposed edges.Meanwhile rGO as a catalytic substrate played a role of charge-carrier channel to improve the separation of holes and electrons,which originated from the band gap absorption of MoS2.The content of Cu in photocatalyst affected photocatalytic performance obviously.And the optimal 30% Cu/rGO/MoS2 possessed the highest photocatalytic performance,which could be attributed to the improved separation of charges and synergistic effects among Cu,rGO and MoS2.The removal efficiency of Rhodamine B(RhB) over CRM was up to 100% in 5 min.CRM as a photocatalyst maintained good reproducibility and stability during 3 times of the recycle experiments.These results indicate CRM is a promising photocatalyst for degrading organic pollutants in wastewater.Huanjing Liang Peng Hua Yufei Zhou Zhimin Fu Jiaoning Tang Junfeng Niu 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,12:2
18Preparation and Dielectric Properties of Nonstoichiometric β-SiC Powder by Combustion Synthesis显示文摘The nonstoichiometric β-SiC powders were synthesized via combustion reaction of Si and C system in a 0.1 MPa nitrogen atmosphere, using Teflon as the chemical activator. The prepared powders were invistigated by XRD and Raman spectra. The results indicates that the cell parameters of all the prepared β-SiC powder are smaller than the standard value of β-SiC because of generation of CSi defects. The complex permittivity of prepared products was carried out in the frequency range of 8.2-12.4 GHz. It shows that the dielectric property of prepared β-SiC powder decrease with increasing PTFE content. 19UWB SAR RFI SUPPRESSION BASED ON REGION OF SUPPORT IN 2-D WAVENUMBER DOMAIN显示文摘Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) degrades the quality of focused Ultra-WideBand Syn- thetic Aperture Radar (UWB SAR) images. From both the theoretical analysis and real data valida- tion, it is concluded that target echo and RFI have different Region Of Support (ROS) in 2-D fast- time wavenumber and aperture wavenumber domain. Consequently, a novel adaptive filter is pro- posed according to the Wiener optimum criterion on the distinct ROS characteristics of target echo and RFI. Compared with the notch filter and the Least Mean Square (LMS) adaptive filter in previ- ous literatures, the proposed method is more computationally efficient with satisfactory suppression results. There is also widespread interest in the development of thrombolytic agents that can be used in cases of delayed presentation. Current agents that can be used in cases of delayed presentation of nerve damage by thrombus. Current systemic thrombolytic therapy is associated with adverse effects such as fibrinogenolysis and bleeding. In an attempt to increase the efficacy, safety, and specificity of thrombolytic therapy, a number of targeted thrombolytic agents have been studied in recent years.
