1Radial propagation of magnetospheric substorm-injected energetic electrons observed using a BD-IES instrument and Van Allen Probes显示文摘In cases where substorm injections can be observed simultaneously by multiple spacecraft,they can help elucidate the potential mechanisms of particle transport and energization,of great importance to understanding and modeling the magnetosphere.In this paper,using data returned from the BeiDa-IES(BD-IES) instrument onboard a satellite in an inclined(55°) geosynchronous orbit(IGSO),in combination with two geo-transfer orbiting(GTO) satellite Van Allen Probes(A and B),we analyze a substorm injection event that occurred on the 16 th of October 2015.During this substorm injection,the IGSO onboard BD-IES was outbound,while both Van Allen Probe satellites(A and B) were inbound,a configuration of multiple trajectories that provides a unique opportunity to simultaneously investigate both the inward and outward radial propagation of substorm injection.Indicated by AE/AL indices,this substorm was closely related to an IMF/solar wind discontinuity that showed a sharp change in IMF Bz direction to the north.The innermost signature of this substorm injection was detected by Van Allen Probes A and B at L-3.7,while the outermost signature was observed by the onboard BD-IES instrument at L~\0.These data indicate that the substorm had a global,rather than just local,effect.Finally,we suggest that electric fields carried by fast-mode compressional waves around the substorm injection are the most likely candidate mechanism for the electron injection signatures observed in the inner- and outermost inner magnetosphere.ZONG QiuGang HAO YiXin ZOU Hong FU SuiYan ZHOU XuZhi REN Jie WANG LingHua YUAN ChongJing LIU ZhiYang JIA XiangHong QUAN Lin LIU Ying WANG YongFu 2016Science China Earth Sciences2016,59,7:8
2Genome architecture and tetrasomic inheritance of autotetraploid potato显示文摘Potato(Solanum tuberosum)is the most consumed non-cereal food crop.Most commercial potato cultivars are autotetraploids with highly heterozygous genomes,severely hampering genetic analyses and improvement.By leveraging the state-of-the-art sequencing technologies and polyploid graph binning,we achieved a chromosome-scale,haplotype-resolved genome assembly of a cultivated potato,Cooperation-88(C88).lntra-haplotype comparative analyses revealed extensive sequence and expression differences in this tetraploid genome.We identified haplotype-specific pericentromeres on chromosomes,suggesting a distinct evolutionary trajectory of potato homologous centromeres.Furthermore,we detected double reduction events that are unevenly distributed on haplotypes in 1021 of 1034 selfing progeny,a feature of autopolyploid inheritance.By distinguishing maternal and paternal haplotype sets in C88,we simulated the origin of heterosis in cultivated tetraploid with a survey of 3110 tetra-allelic loci with deleterious mutations,which were masked in the heterozygous condition bytwo parents.This study provides insights into the genomic architecture of autopolyploids and will guide their breeding.Zhigui Bao Canhui Li Guangcun Li Pei Wang Zhen Peng Lin Cheng Hongbo Li Zhiyang Zhang Yuying Li Wu Huang Mingwang Ye Daofeng Dong Zhukuan Cheng Peter VanderZaag Evert Jacobsen Christian W.B.Bachem Suomeng Dong Chunzhi Zhang Sanwen Huang Qian Zhou 2022Molecular Plant2022,15,7:4

5HTR2A agonists play a therapeutic role by restricting ILC2 activation in papain-induced lung inflammation显示文摘Group 2 innate lymphoid cells(ILC2s)are a category of heterogeneous cells that produce the cytokines IL-5 and IL-13,which mediate the type 2 immune response.However,specific drug targets on lung ILC2s have rarely been reported.Previous studies have shown that type 2 cytokines,such as IL-5 and IL-13,are related to depression.Here,we demonstrated the negative correlation between the depression-associated monoamine neurotransmitter serotonin and secretion of the cytokines IL-5 and IL-13 by ILC2s in individuals with depression.Interestingly,serotonin ameliorates papain-induced lung inflammation by suppressing ILC2 activation.Our data showed that the serotonin receptor HTR2A was highly expressed on ILC2s from mouse lungs and human PBMCs.Furthermore,an HTR2A selective agonist(DOI)impaired ILC2 activation and alleviated the type 2 immune response in vivo and in vitro.Mice with ILC2-specific depletion of HTR2A(Il5^(cre/+)·Htr2a^(flox/flox)mice)abolished the DOI-mediated inhibition of ILC2s in a papain-induced mouse model of inflammation.In conclusion,serotonin and DOI could restrict the type 2 lung immune response,indicating a potential treatment strategy for type 2 lung inflammation by targeting HTR2A on ST2+ILC2s.Zhishuo Wang Chenghua Yan Qizhen Du Yuying Huang Xuezhen Li Dan Zeng Ruizhi Mao Rama Krishna Gurram Shipeng Cheng Wangpeng Gu Lin Zhu Weiguo Fan Liyan Ma Zhiyang Ling Ju Qiu Dangsheng Li Enmei Liu Yaguang Zhang Yiru Fang Jinfang Zhu Bing Sun 2023Cellular & Molecular Immunology2023,20,4:1

7Ultra-sensitive flexible Ga_(2)O_(3)solar-blind photodetector array realized via ultra-thin absorbing medium显示文摘The quest for solar-blind photodetectors with outstanding optoelectronic properties and weak signals detection capability is essential for their applications in the field of imaging,communication,warning,etc.To date,Ga_(2)O_(3)has demonstrated potential for high-performance solar-blind photodetectors.However,the performance usually decays superlinearly at low light intensities due to carrier-trapping effect,which limits the weak signal detection capability of Ga_(2)O_(3)photodetectors.Herein,a Ga_(2)O_(3)solarblind photodetector with ultra-thin absorbing medium has been designed to restrain trapping of photo-generated carriers during the transporting process by shortening the carrier transport distance.Meanwhile,multiple-beam interference is employed to enhance the absorption efficiency of the Ga_(2)O_(3)layer using an Al/Al_(2)O_(3)/Ga_(2)O_(3)structure.Based on the ultra-thin absorbing medium with enhanced absorption efficiency,a 7×7 flexible photodetector array is developed,and the detectivity can reach 1.7×10^(15)Jones,which is among the best values ever reported for Ga_(2)O_(3)photodetectors.Notably,the performance of the photodetector decays little as the illumination intensity is as weak as 5 nW/cm2,revealing the capacity to detect ultra-weak signals.In addition,the flexible photodetector array can execute the functions of imaging,spatial distribution of light source intensity,real-time light trajectory detection,etc.Our results may provide a route to high-performance solar-blind photodetectors for ultra-weak light detection.Yancheng Chen Xun Yang Yuan Zhang Xuexia Chen Junlu Sun Zhiyang Xu Kaiyong Li Lin Dong Chongxin Shan 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1
8Upregulation of E-cadherin by the combination of methionine restriction and HDAC2 intervention for inhibiting gastric carcinoma metastasis显示文摘Invasion and metastasis are the leading causes of death in individuals with malignant tumors,including gastric cancer.In this study,we aim to explore the effect and related mechanisms of methionine restriction(MR)on gastric carcinoma metastasis.In the MR cell model,gastric carcinoma cells are cultured in the MR medium,and in the animal model,BALB/c nude rodents are administered with a methionine-free diet after receiving injections of MKN45 cells into the caudal vein.Transwell assay is used to detect cell invasion and migration.Chromatin im-munoprecipitation is performed to investigate the levels of H3K9me2,H3K27Ac,and H3K27me3 in the E-cadherin promoter.The results show that MR inhibits gastric carcinoma cell migration,invasion,and lung metastasis.MR increases E-cadherin while reducing the H3K27me3 level in the E-cadherin promoter.E-cadherin expression in gastric carcinoma cells is adversely regulated by HDAC2.Overexpressing HDAC2 reduces the H3K27Ac level in the E-cadherin promoter,while interfering with HDAC2 increases the H3K27Ac level.HDAC2 interference under MR conditions further upregulates E-cadherin expression and inhibits gastric carcinoma cell migration,invasion,and lung metastasis.MR combined with HDAc2 interference promotes E-cadherin expression by mediating the me-thylation and acetylation of E-cadherin,thus inhibiting the invasion,migration,and lung metastasis of gastric carcinoma cells.Our study provides a new theoretical basis for the inhibitory effect of MR on gastric cancer.Yifan Li Chenxi Liu Lin Xin Chuan Liu Jiaqing Cao Zhenqi Yue Jie Sheng Yiwu Yuan Qi Zhou Zhiyang Liu 2024Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,1:0

11Dynamic cooperations between lattice oxygen and oxygen vacancies for photocatalytic ethane dehydrogenation by a self-restoring LaVO_(4)catalyst显示文摘Thermocatalytic nonoxidative ethane dehydrogenation(EDH)is a promising strategy for ethene production but suffers from intense energy consumption and poor catalyst durability;exploring technology that permits efficient EDH by solar energy remains a giant challenge.Herein,we present that an oxygen vacancy(O_v)-rich LaVO_(4)(LaVO_(4)-O_v)catalyst is highly active and stable for photocatalytic EDH,through a dynamic lattice oxygen(O_(latt.))and O_(v)co-mediated mechanism.Irradiated by simulated sunlight at mild conditions,LaVO_(4)-O_(v)effectively dehydrogenates undiluted ethane to produce C_(2)H_(4)and CO with a conversion of 2.3%.By loading a small amount of Pt cocatalyst,the evolution and selectivity of C_(2)H_(4)are enhanced to 275μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)and 96.8%.Of note,LaVO_(4)-O_(v)appears nearly no carbon deposition after the reaction.The isotope tracked reactions reveal that the consumed O_(latt.)recuperates by exposing the used catalyst with O_(2),thus establishing a dynamic cycle of O_(latt.)and achieving a facile catalyst regeneration to preserve its intrinsic activity.The refreshed LaVO_(4)-O_(v)exhibits superior reusability and delivers a turnover number of about 305.The O_(v)promotes photo absorption,boosts ethane adsorption/activation,and accelerates charge separation/transfer,thus improving the photocatalytic efficiency.The possible photocatalytic EDH mechanism is proposed,considering the key intermediates predicted by density functional theory(DFT)and monitored by in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS).Fen Wei Weichao Xue Zhiyang Yu Xue Feng Lu Sibo Wang Wei Lin Xinchen Wang 2024Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,3:0
12Visual acuity is correlated with ischemia and neurodegeneration in patients with early stages of diabetic retinopathy显示文摘Purpose:We investigated the effects of retinal ischemia,neurodegeneration,and subclinical edema on best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA)in the early stages of diabetic retinopathy(DR).Methods:Ischemia was evaluated by the microvascular parameters measured by optical coherence tomography angiography.Neurodegeneration and subclinical edema were identified by the intraretinal layer thickness obtained by optical coherence tomography.Eyes with nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy(n=132)from 89 patients were analyzed.Eyes were classified as having normal BCVA(n=88[66.7%],Snellen equivalent≥20/20)or decreased BCVA(n=44[33.3%],Snellen equivalent<20/20).The prevalence of ischemia,neurodegeneration,and subclinical edema was explored in patients with and without decreased BCVA,and correlations between BCVA and these pathological pathways were determined.Results:Vessel density in the deep retinal capillary plexus(DRCP)and thickness of ganglion cell layer plus inner plexiform layer(GCL-IPL)were significantly lower in eyes with decreased BCVA compared with eyes with normal BCVA(both P<0.05).In the final multiple regression predictive model,age,DRCP vessel density,and GCL-IPL thickness(all P≤0.044)were predictors of BCVA.DRCP vessel density and GCL-IPL thickness have an interactive effect on visual acuity.The proportions of ischemia and neurodegeneration were significantly higher in eyes with decreased BCVA than in eyes with normal BCVA(P=0.001 and P=0.004,respectively).Conclusion:During the natural course of the early stages of DR,ischemia and neurodegeneration were the main disease pathways associated with visual acuity,and the mechanisms varied among patients.Jin Li Yue Zhou Feng Chen Yingzi Li Rong Zhou Chaoming Wu Huankai Yu Zhiyang Lin Ce Shi Gu Zheng Yilei Shao Qi Chen Fan Lu Meixiao Shen 2021Eye and Vision2021,8,1:0

14Bromocriptine protects perilesional spinal cord neurons from lipotoxicity after spinal cord injury显示文摘Recent studies have revealed that lipid droplets accumulate in neurons after brain injury and evoke lipotoxicity,damaging the neurons.However,how lipids are metabolized by spinal cord neurons after spinal cord injury remains unclear.Herein,we investigated lipid metabolism by spinal cord neurons after spinal cord injury and identified lipid-lowering compounds to treat spinal cord injury.We found that lipid droplets accumulated in perilesional spinal cord neurons after spinal cord injury in mice.Lipid droplet accumulation could be induced by myelin debris in HT22 cells.Myelin debris degradation by phospholipase led to massive free fatty acid production,which increased lipid droplet synthesis,β-oxidation,and oxidative phosphorylation.Excessive oxidative phosphorylation increased reactive oxygen species generation,which led to increased lipid peroxidation and HT22 cell apoptosis.Bromocriptine was identified as a lipid-lowering compound that inhibited phosphorylation of cytosolic phospholipase A2 by reducing the phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1/2 in the mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway,thereby inhibiting myelin debris degradation by cytosolic phospholipase A2 and alleviating lipid droplet accumulation in myelin debris-treated HT22 cells.Motor function,lipid droplet accumulation in spinal cord neurons and neuronal survival were all improved in bromocriptine-treated mice after spinal cord injury.The results suggest that bromocriptine can protect neurons from lipotoxic damage after spinal cord injury via the extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1/2-cytosolic phospholipase A2 pathway.Ying Peng Zhuoxuan Li Zhiyang Zhang Yinglun Chen Renyuan Wang Nixi Xu Yuanwu Cao Chang Jiang Zixian Chen Haodong Lin 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,5:0
15Consensus statement on research and application of Chinese herbal medicine derived extracellular vesicles-like particles(2023 edition)显示文摘To promote the development of extracellular vesicles of herbal medicine especially the establishment of standardization,led by the National Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles,research experts in the field of herbal medicine and extracellular vesicles were invited nationwide with the support of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles,Professional Committee on Extracellular Vesicle Research and Application,Chinese Society of Research Hospitals and the Guangdong Engineering Research Center of Chinese Herbal Vesicles.Based on the collation of relevant literature,we have adopted the Delphi method,the consensus meeting method combined with the nominal group method to form a discussion draft of“Consensus statement on research and application of Chinese herbal medicine derived extracellular vesicles-like particles(2023)”.The first draft was discussed in online and offline meetings on October 12,14,November 2,2022 and April and May 2023 on the current status of research,nomenclature,isolation methods,quality standards and research applications of extracellular vesicles of Chinese herbal medicines,and 13 consensus opinions were finally formed.At the Third Academic Conference on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles,held on May 26,2023,Kewei Zhao,convenor of the consensus,presented and read the consensus to the experts of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles.The consensus highlights the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine,inherits the essence,and keeps the righteousness and innovation,aiming to provide a reference for colleagues engaged in research and application of Chinese herbal vesicles at home and abroad,decode the mystery behind Chinese herbal vesicles together,establish a safe,effective and controllable accurate Chinese herbal vesicle prevention and treatment system,and build a bridge for Chinese medicine to the world.Qing Zhao Tong Wang Hongbin Wang Peng Cao Chengyu Jiang Hongzhi Qiao Lihua Peng Xingdong Lin Yunyao Jiang Honglei Jin Huantian Zhang Shengpeng Wang Yang Wang Ying Wang Xi Chen Junbing Fan Bo Li Geng Li Bifeng Liu Zhiyang Li Suhua Qi Mingzhen Zhang Jianjian Zheng Jiuyao Zhou Lei Zheng Kewei Zhao 2024Chinese Herbal Medicines2024,16,1:0
16Power Transformer Fault Diagnosis Using Random Forest and Optimized Kernel Extreme Learning Machine显示文摘Power transformer is one of the most crucial devices in power grid.It is significant to determine incipient faults of power transformers fast and accurately.Input features play critical roles in fault diagnosis accuracy.In order to further improve the fault diagnosis performance of power trans-formers,a random forest feature selection method coupled with optimized kernel extreme learning machine is presented in this study.Firstly,the random forest feature selection approach is adopted to rank 42 related input features derived from gas concentration,gas ratio and energy-weighted dissolved gas analysis.Afterwards,a kernel extreme learning machine tuned by the Aquila optimization algorithm is implemented to adjust crucial parameters and select the optimal feature subsets.The diagnosis accuracy is used to assess the fault diagnosis capability of concerned feature subsets.Finally,the optimal feature subsets are applied to establish fault diagnosis model.According to the experimental results based on two public datasets and comparison with 5 conventional approaches,it can be seen that the average accuracy of the pro-posed method is up to 94.5%,which is superior to that of other conventional approaches.Fault diagnosis performances verify that the optimum feature subset obtained by the presented method can dramatically improve power transformers fault diagnosis accuracy.Tusongjiang Kari Zhiyang He Aisikaer Rouzi Ziwei Zhang Xiaojing Ma Lin Du 2023Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing2023,,7:0
