1Optimization of Process Parameters for in High-Energy Ball Milling of CNTs/Al2024 Composites Through Response Surface Methodology显示文摘The mathematical models are developed to evaluate the ultimate tensile strength( UTS) and hardness of CNTs / Al2024 composites fabricated by high-energy ball milling. The effects of the preparation variables which are milling time,rotational speed,mass fraction of CNTs and ball to powder ratio on UST and hardness of CNTs / Al2024 composites are investigated. Based on the central composite design( CCD),a quadratic model is developed to correlate the fabrication variables to the UST and hardness. From the analysis of variance( ANOVA),the most influential factor on each experimental design response is identified. The optimum conditions for preparing CNTs / Al2024 composites are found as follows: 1. 53 h milling time,900 r / min rotational speed,mass fraction of CNTs 2. 87% and Ball to powder ratio 25 ∶ 1. The predicted maximum UST and hardness are 273.30 MPa and 261.36 HV,respectively. And the experimental values are 283.25 MPa and256.8 HV,respectively. 2Cooperative Search of UAV Swarm Based on Ant Colony Optimization with Artificial Potential Field显示文摘An ant colony optimization with artificial potential field(ACOAPF)algorithm is proposed to solve the cooperative search mission planning problem of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)swarm.This algorithm adopts a distributed architecture where each UAV is considered as an ant and makes decision autonomously.At each decision step,the ants choose the next gird according to the state transition rule and update its own artificial potential field and pheromone map based on the current search results.Through iterations of this process,the cooperative search of UAV swarm for mission area is realized.The state transition rule is divided into two types.If the artificial potential force is larger than a threshold,the deterministic transition rule is adopted,otherwise a heuristic transition rule is used.The deterministic transition rule can ensure UAVs to avoid the threat or approach the target quickly.And the heuristics transition rule considering the pheromone and heuristic information ensures the continuous search of area with the goal of covering more unknown area and finding more targets.Finally,simulations are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed ACOAPF algorithm for cooperative search mission of UAV swarm.XING Dongjing ZHEN Ziyang ZHOU Chengyu GONG Huajun 2019Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2019,36,6:3
3Rate compatible reconciliation for continuous-variable quantum key distribution using Raptor-like LDPC codes显示文摘In the practical continuous-variable quantum key distribution(CV-QKD)system,the postprocessing process,particularly the error correction part,significantly impacts the system performance.Multi-edge type low-density parity-check(MET-LDPC)codes are suitable for CV-QKD systems because of their Shannon-limit-approaching performance at a low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR).However,the process of designing a low-rate MET-LDPC code with good performance is extremely complicated.Thus,we introduce Raptor-like LDPC(RL-LDPC)codes into the CV-QKD system,exhibiting both the rate compatible property of the Raptor code and capacity-approaching performance of MET-LDPC codes.Moreover,this technique can significantly reduce the cost of constructing a new matrix.We design the RL-LDPC matrix with a code rate of 0.02 and easily and effectively adjust this rate from 0.016 to 0.034.Simulation results show that we can achieve more than 98%reconciliation efficiency in a range of code rate variation using only one RL-LDPC code that can support high-speed decoding with an SNR less than-16.45 d B.This code allows the system to maintain a high key extraction rate under various SNRs,paving the way for practical applications of CV-QKD systems with different transmission distances.Chao Zhou Xiang Yu Wang ZhiGuo Zhang Song Yu ZiYang Chen Hong Guo 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,6:2

6Antifouling nanocomposite polymer coatings for marine applications:A review on experiments,mechanisms,and theoretical studies显示文摘Marine fouling is a worldwide challenge with huge damages on industrial structures,side effects on economics of industries,and environmental and safety-related hazards.Different approaches have been used for combating fouling in the marine environment.Meanwhile,nanocomposite polymer coatings are a novel generation of antifouling coatings with merits of toxin-free chemical composition and ease of large-scale application.Nanomaterials such as nano-metals,nano-metal oxides,metal-organic frameworks,carbon-based nanostructures,MXene,and nanoclays have antibacterial and antifouling properties in the polymer coatings.Besides,these nanomaterials can improve the corrosion resistance,mechanical strength,weathering stability,and thermal resistance of the polymer coatings.Therefore,in this review paper,the antifouling nanocomposite coatings are introduced and antifouling mechanisms are discussed.This review explicitly indicates that the antifouling efficiency of the nanocomposite coatings depends on the properties of the polymer matrix,the inherent properties of the nanomaterials,the weight percent and the dispersion method of the nanomaterials within the coating matrix,and the chemicals used for modifying the surface of the nanomaterials;meanwhile,the hybrids of different nanomaterials and appropriate chemical agents could be used to improve the antifouling behavior of the prepared nanocomposites.Moreover,the theoretical studies are introduced to pave the way of researchers working on theantifouling coatings,and the importance of the theoretical studies and computational modeling along with the experimental research is notified to develop antifouling coatings with high efficiency.Sepideh Pourhashem Abdolvahab Seif Farhad Saba Elham Garmroudi Nezhad Xiaohong Ji Ziyang Zhou Xiaofan Zhai Majid Mirzaee Jizhou Duan Alimorad Rashidi Baorong Hou 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,23:1

8Centrifuge modelling of ground-borne vibrations induced by railway traffic in underground tunnels显示文摘Increased attention has been given to ground-borne vibrations induced by railway vehicles and to the effects of these vibrations as they propagate through the ground into nearby buildings.Various studies,mainly based on numerical methods as well as physical modelling,have been carried out to investigate this problem.To study the dynamic response of tunnels and the surrounding soil due to train-induced vibration loads,a centrifuge test was conducted with a small-scale model in 1 g and 50 g stress field environments.An aluminum tube was embedded in sand to model the underground tunnel.A small parallel pre-stressed actuator(PPA)was employed to apply vibration loads on the tunnel invert.The model responses were measured using accelerometers.Both time and frequency domain analyzes were performed.The test results demonstrated that electronic noise had a clear impact on the test results and should be eliminated.It also found that the dynamic response of both the tunnel and soil were affected by the stress field.Therefore,it is important to account for the stress field effects when assessing the ground-borne vibration from tunnels.Yang Wenbo Qian Zhihao Tu Jiulin Zhou Ziyang Yan Qixiang Fang Yong He Chuan 2022Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,2:1
9Effect of niobium content on irradiation microstructure and hardening in FeCrAl-based alloys显示文摘Iron-chromium-aluminum(FeCrAl)alloys with different content of niobium(Nb)—0,0.4 wt%,0.8 wt%,and 1.2 wt%—were designed and prepared.All samples were then irradiated with 2.4 MeV Fe^(2+)ion to the dose of 1 and 15 displacements per atom(dpa)at 400℃.The formations of dislocation loops induced by self-ion irradiation in these alloys were investigated by transmission electron microscopy(TEM).Nano-indentation tests were used to assess the hardness and irradiation hardening of samples.For the samples before irradiation,the(Fe,Cr)_(2)(Nb,Mo)Laves phases density and the nano-indentation hardness increased with increasing Nb content of the samples.After irradiation to 1 and 15 dpa,both of a/2<111>and a<100>dislocation loops were produced but no voids orα’phase were found in all samples.With increasing Nb content of the samples,the size of dislocation loops increased first and then decreased,while the total volume number density decreased and then increased.The fraction of a<100>dislocation loops increased first and then decreased with increasing Nb content,and increased with increasing irradiation dose.Dislocation networks and the amorphization of the Laves phases were observed in the samples with irradiation dose of 15 dpa.Irradiation hardening of Nb free samples was two to four times that of Nb containing samples,and the irradiation hardening increased with increasing Nb content of Nb containing samples.The experimental results indicate that the increase of Nb content in Fe Cr Al alloys can increase the density of Laves phases,leading to the decrease of Mo content and increase of Cr content in the matrix.The competition between the two types of solutes affects the nucleation and growth of the dislocation loops.Xiong Zhou Hui Wang Liping Guo Yiheng Chen Fang Li Yunxiang Long Cheng Chen Ziyang Xie Hongtai Luo Shaobo Mo 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,36:0

13Free or fixed state of nHAP differentially regulates hBMSC morphology and osteogenesis through the valve role of ITGA7显示文摘Nano-hydroxyapatite(nHAP)has been widely used in bone repair as an osteo-inductive and naturally-occurring material.However,the optimal applied form of nHAP and the underlying mechanisms involved remain unclear.Herein,to investigate into these,a range of corresponding models were designed,including three applied forms of nHAP(Free,Coating and 3D)that belong to two states(Free or fixed).The results indicate that when fixed nHAP was applied in the 3D form,optimal osteogenesis was induced in human bone marrow stem cells(hBMSCs)with increased bone volume via integrinα7(ITGA7)-mediated upregulation of the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway,while contrary results were observed with free nHAP.Ectopic osteogenesis experiments in mice subcutaneous transplantation model further confirmed the different tendencies of ITGA7 expression and osteogenesis of hBMSCs in free and fixed states of nHAP.Our results revealed that the two states of nHAP play a different regulatory role in cell morphology and osteogenesis through the valve role of ITGA7,providing cues for better application of nanoparticles and a potential new molecular target in bone tissue engineering.Fangyuan Bao Junzhi Yi Yixiao Liu Yuliang Zhong Hui Zhang Zhonglin Wu Boon Chin Heng Ying Wang Ziyang Wang Lizi Xiao Hua Liu Hongwei Ouyang Jing Zhou 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,12:0
14Two‑Dimensional Cr_(5)Te_(8)@Graphite Heterostructure for Efficient Electromagnetic Microwave Absorption显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal chalcogenides(TMCs)hold great promise as novel microwave absorption materials owing to their interlayer interactions and unique magnetoelectric properties.However,overcoming the impedance mismatch at the low loading is still a challenge for TMCs due to the restricted loss pathways caused by their high-density characteristic.Here,an interface engineering based on the heterostructure of 2D Cr_(5)Te_(8) and graphite is in situ constructed via a one-step chemical vapor deposit to modulate impedance matching and introduce multiple attenuation mechanisms.Intriguingly,the Cr_(5)Te_(8)@EG(ECT)heterostructure exhibits a minimum reflection loss of up to−57.6 dB at 15.4 GHz with a thin thickness of only 1.4 mm under a low filling rate of 10%.The density functional theory calculations confirm that the splendid performance of ECT heterostructure primarily derives from charge redistribution at the abundant intimate interfaces,thereby reinforcing interfacial polarization loss.Furthermore,the ECT coating displays a remarkable radar cross section reduction of 31.9 dB m^(2),demonstrating a great radar microwave scattering ability.This work sheds light on the interfacial coupled stimulus response mechanism of TMC-based heterogeneous structures and provides a feasible strategy to manipulate high-quality TMCs for excellent microwave absorbers.Liyuan Qin Ziyang Guo Shuai Zhao Denan Kong Wei Jiang Ruibin Liu Xijuan Lv Jiadong Zhou Qinghai Shu 2024Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,3:0
15Clinical observation of Shenling Baizhu Powder combined with triamcinolone acetonide in treating macular edema induced by retinal vein occlusion显示文摘Objective:to observe the clinical effica-cy of Shenling Baizhu Powder(SLBZP)combined with a subconjunctival injection of triamcinolone acetonide(TA)in treating macular edema(ME)induced by retinal vein occlusion(RVO).Method:there were 62 patients(62 eyes)with ME induced by RVO that were selected and divided into two groups in accordance with the ran-dom number table.Each group had 31 eyes.Group one,the control group,was treated with a single subconjunc-tival injection of TA;group two,the observation group,was treated with a single subconjunctival injection of TA(20 mg/0.5 mL)per eye and one month of SLBZP.To evaluate the clinical efficacy,both groups were checked(3×)with the best corrected-visual acuity(BCVA),cen-ter macular thickness(CMT),and intraocular pressure(IOP).The checks were before treatment,one month af-ter injection,and three months after injection.Results:there were 26 eyes(83.87%)in the observation group,and 17 eyes(54.84%)in the control group in which the BCVA was significantly improved.The ME obviously de-creased in 27 eyes(87.10%)the observation group and in 19 eyes(61.29%)the control group.The clinical effica-cy of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:as one method to treat ME induced by RVO,SLBZP combined with subconjunctival injection of TA is significantly more effective than a single subconjunctival injection of TA.Besides,the SLBZP had less side-effects.Based on the above,this method deserves in-depth research.Zhiqiang Wang Muchen Luo Ziyang Huang Wanyu Zhou 2021Journal of Translational Neuroscience2021,6,3:0
16Cause Analysis and Preventive Measures of Drug Shortage显示文摘Objective To study the current situation and the root cause of drug shortage in China, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions accordingly for relevant national policy decisions. Methods Based on literature research, questionnaire survey and expert consultation, the causes of drug shortage in China were comprehensively investigated, and fishbone diagram was used to further analyze the logical relationship among the causes. Results and Conclusion The main reasons for the shortage of drugs are the low profit of production enterprises and insufficient active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The other reasons include uncertain demand, standard problem and few exclusive manufacturers. Besides, the monopoly of circulation enterprises also leads to the shortage of drugs to a certain extent. It is suggested that we should increase the punishment of monopoly, optimize the market environment, and establish a reasonable drug price mechanism. In addition, enterprises should participate in the information communication platform of medical institutions to solve the asymmetry between supply and demand. 18Mouse intestinal Lgr5^+ stem cells are more sensitive to heavy ion irradiation than Bmi1^+ stem cells显示文摘Before the human exploration of the Mars or other long-duration missions in outer space,the risks of cancer and other radiation injury induced by space radiations,containing high linear energy transfer(LET)particles such as heavy ions,must be accurately estimated and mitigated.On the other hand,accelerated carbon ions have been successfully used for clinical tumor treatment,and their damages to normal tissues are also of concern.Therefore,heavy ion particles are severely risky not only to manned space exploration but also to the patients experiencing particle radiotherapy [1,2].Earlier studies suggested that intestine was a radio-sensitive tissue which was seriously injured,and then lost main digestion-absorption function for individual survival after low LET radiation such as γ-rays and X-rays.But there is much uncertainty in understanding heavy-ion-induced intestinal injury because sufficient in vivo mechanistic data are not available.Here,we demonstrate for the first time that the Bmi1-expressing cells are more resistant to carbon ions than Lgr5^+ cells in mouse intestine and may be the major stem cells for the self-renewal of intestinal cells after intestinal injury induced by carbon ion irradiation.Anqing Wu Wentao Hu Jian Zhang Ziyang Guo Cuihua Liu Takanori Katsube Kaoru Tanaka Jing Nie Bing Wang Guangming Zhou 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,3:0
19Effect modifications of BMI transition and trajectory in the associations of adverse childhood experiences with new-onset dementia and its subtypes in older US adults显示文摘Background Adverse childhood experiences(ACEs)and dementia are associated and comorbid with obesity.However,according to emerging research,the role of obesity in the association between ACEs and dementia seems controversial.Aims This analysis aimed to explore the associations between ACEs and different dementia subtypes and the effect modification of long-term body mass index(BMI).Methods Data were obtained from the US Health and Retirement Study.Six ACEs were categorised as 0,1 and 2 or more.All-cause dementia,Alzheimer’s disease(AD)and other dementias were defined by self-reported or proxy-reported physician diagnosis.Cox proportional hazards regression was used to explore the associations of ACEs with new-onset all-cause dementia,AD and other dementias from 2010 to 2020.Effect modification of BMI in 2010 and BMI transition and trajectory(fitted by group-based trajectory modelling)from 2004 to 2010 were assessed.Results 15282 participants with a mean age of 67.0 years(58.0–75.0)were included in the 2010 data analysis.Significant interactions of ACEs with baseline BMI,BMI transition and BMI trajectory in their associations with new-onset all-cause dementia and AD were observed(all p<0.05).For instance,positive associations of two or more ACEs(vs none)with all-cause dementia and AD were found in those with a BMI trajectory of maintaining≥30 kg/m2(maintain obesity)rather than a decline to or maintaining<25 kg/m2(decline to or maintain normal weight),with hazard ratios(HRs)of 1.87(95%confidence interval(CI):1.45 to 2.42)and 1.85(95%CI:1.22 to 2.80),respectively.Conclusions ACEs were associated with dementia and AD in US adults with long-term abnormally elevated BMI but not with long-term normal or decreasing BMI.Integrated weight management throughout life could prevent dementia among those with childhood adversity.Ziyang Ren Binbin Su Yushan Du Tianjing Zhou Xiaoying Zheng Jufen Liu 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,4:0
20Role of autoreactive Tc17 cells in the pathogenesis of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis显示文摘Background:The pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis(MS)and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE-an animal model of MS)is primarily mediated by T cells.However,recent studies have only focused on interleukin(IL)-17-secreting CD4^(+)T-helper cells,also known as Th17 cells.This study aimed to compare Th17 cells and IL-17-secreting CD8^(+)T-cytotoxic cells(Tc17)in the context of MS/EAE.Methods:Female C57BL/6 mice were immunized with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein peptides 35-55(MOG35-55),pertussis toxin,and complete Freund's adjuvant to establish the EAE animal model.T cells were isolated from the spleen(12-14 days postimmunization).CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cells were purified using isolation kit and then differentiated into Th17 and Tc17,respectively,using MOG35-55 and IL-23.The secretion levels of interferon-(IFN-γ)and IL-17 were measured via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using cultured CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cell supernatants.The pathogenicity of Tc17 and Th17 cells was assessed through adoptive transfer(tEAE),with the clinical course assessed using an EAE score(0-5).Hematoxylin and eosin as well as Luxol fast blue staining were used to examine the spinal cord.Purified CD8^(+)CD3^(+)and CD4^(+)CD3^(+)cells differentiated into Tc17 and Th17 cells,respectively,were stimulated with MOG35-55 peptide for proliferation assays.Results:The results showed that Tc17 cells(15,951±19855VS.55,709±4196cpm;p<0.050)exhibited a weaker response to highest dose(20μg/mL)MOG35-55 than Th17 cells.However,this response was not dependent on Th17 cells.After the 48h stimulation,at the highest dose(20μg/mL)of MOG35-55.Tc17 cells secreted lower levels of IFN-(280.00±15.00vs.556.67±15.28pg/mL,p<0.050)and IL-17(102.67±5.86 pg/mL vs.288.33±12.58 pg/mL;p<0.050)than Th17 cells.Similar patterns were observed for IFN-γsecretion at 96 and 144h.Furthermore,Tc17 cell-induced tEAE mice exhibited similar EAE scores to Th17 cell-induced tEAE mice and also showed similar inflammation and demyelination.Conclusion:The degree of pathogenicity of Tc17 cells in EAE is lower than that of Th17 cells.Future investigation on different immune cells and EAE models is warranted to determine the mechanisms underlying MS.Yong Peng Xiuli Zhang Yandan Tang Shunqing He Guilan Rao Quan Chen Yahui Xue Hong Jin Shu Liu Ziyang Zhou Yun Xiang 2024Neuroprotection2024,2,1:0
