1Temperature gradient and its effect on flat steel box girder of long-span suspension bridge显示文摘The temperature field variation law and distribution characteristics of an orthotropic flat steel box girder under sunny conditions were analyzed through a field temperature test on the steel box girder of the operational Runyang Yangtze River Bridge(the suspension bridge part).Function optimization fitting and error analysis of the test data were conducted.A temperature gradient distribution curve applicable to a hexagonal flat steel box girder was proposed.Based on the measurement results,the temperature effect of an orthotropic flat steel box girder was analyzed using finite element method and the effects of different temperature gradient modes on the mechanical characteristics and stress distribution of the steel box girder were compared.Under sunny conditions,heat conduction in the flat steel box girder structure shows distinct 'box-room effect' characteristics,and the actual temperature gradient distribution is inconsistent with the one suggested by the existing standards.The thermal stress of a steel box girder calculated from the measured temperature gradient mode exceeds that calculated from the standard,and the intensity approximates that under the action of designed vehicle loads.The temperature-induced stress is distributed centrally near the manufacturing welds of the orthotropic steel box girder,which should be considered in design,construction and research.Results from this study could supplement the existing bridge and culvert design standards.MIAO ChangQing SHI ChangHua 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,8:19
2Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. 3Modal identification of long-span Runyang Bridge using ambient responses recorded by SHMS显示文摘Runyang Bridge is a newly built cable-supported bridge that crosses the Yangtze River in China.The bridge is composed of one suspension bridge and one cable-stayed bridge.During the construction of the bridge,a structural health monitoring system(SHMS)was installed,which was designed by the Southeast University.Since the bridge was open to traffic,quantities of structural ambient responses have been recorded by the SHMS.And,it’s really important to extract structrural information from these records for health monitoring.This paper presents the study on modal identification of the bridge.The dynamic properites including modal frequencies,mode shapes and damping ratios are extracted from the ambient responses.Two identification methods are employed including the enhanced frequency domain decomposition and the stochastic subspace identification.The identified modal parameters from the two methods are compared.Results show that modal frequencies and mode shapes from the two methods are almost the same while the damping ratios are different.QingGuo Fei AiQun Li XiaoLin Han ChangQing Miao 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,12:4

7Study on effects of environmental temperature on dynamic characteristics of Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge显示文摘The dynamic characteristics of three-tower and two-span suspension bridge are analyzed at different global temperatures. An equivalent cable inner force method is proposed to consider temperature effects and to study the effects of environmental temperature on dynamic characteristics of Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge. The result demonstrates that the effects of temperature can not be neglected in static or dynamic analysis of Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge. The relationship between temperature and frequency is negative. 8The study of temperature effects on steel box girder for Taizhou Bridge显示文摘Using the temperature gradient which was proposed by continuously measuring flat steel box girder of Runyang Bridge, temperature effects of flat steel box girder were studied for Taizhou Bridge. With three temperature gradient models (JTG D60-2004 specification, BS5400 specification and the temperature gradient which was proposed in this paper), the stress of control sections was calculated by finite element program ANSYS. The calculated result indicated that the temperature gradient that was put forward in JTG D60-2004 specification and BS5400 specification for calculating the stress of flat steel box girder was not suitable to apply to flat steel box girder. 10Fatigue Performance Analysis and Evaluation for Steel Box Girder Based on Structural Health Monitoring System显示文摘Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge as a long-span suspension bridge,the finite element model(FEM)of it is established using the ANSYS Software.The beam4 element is used to simulate the main beam to establish the“spine beam”model of the Taizhou Yangtze River Bridge.The calculated low-order vibration mode frequency of the FEM is in good agreement with the completion test results.The model can simulate the overall dynamic response of the bridge.Based on the vehicle load survey,the Monte Carlo method is applied to simulate the traffic load flow.Then the overall dynamic response analysis of FEM is car-ried out.Taking the bending moment of the main beam as the control index,the fatigue sensitive section in the steel box girder of FEM is analyzed.Based on the strain time history data of steel box girder recorded by the structural health mon-itoring system(SHM),the true stress response of steel box girder under vehicle load is extracted.Taking the cumulative fatigue damage increment as the evalua-tion index,the fati gue performance evaluation of the steel box girders is con-ducted based on the collected health monitoring data.The fatigue effect of the beam section near the steel tower,especially the first section of the middle tower,is the key section of the fatigue analysis by health morning system,which is con-sistent with the calculation results of FEM.Meiling Zhuang Changqing Miao Rongfeng Chen 2020Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2020,14,1:1

12B_n(BO)_n^(2-),CB_(n-1)(BO)_n^-,and C_2B_(n-2)(BO)_n (n=5-12):Cage-like boron oxide clusters analogous to closo-B_nH_n^(2-),CB_(n-1)H_n^-,and C_2B_(n-2)H_n显示文摘A density functional theory (DFT) investigation has been performed in this work on the cage-like boron-rich boron oxide clus-ters Bn(BO)2n-,CBn-1(BO)-n,and C2Bn-2(BO)n (n = 5-12) which are boronyl analogues of the closo-boranes BnHn2-,monocarbo-ranes CBn-1H-n,and dicarboranes C2Bn-2Hn. These boron oxide clusters possess similar geometrical and electronic structures with the corresponding boranes and carboranes and prove to be three-dimensional (3D) aromatic compounds,consistent with the previously proposed BO/H isolobal analogy. Neutral C2Bn-2(BO)n species possess considerably high ionization potentials in the range 12.0-12.7 eV and CBn-1H-n monoanions have the vertical electron detachment energies in the range 6.6-9.4 eV at the DFT level. BO terminals singly bonded to the skeletal vertexes through a B atom possess the characteristic stretching vi-brational frequencies at about 2000 cm-1,clearly indicating the existence of B-O triple bonds in these clusters. 13Fabrication of interface heating composite evaporator for rapid sewage treatment and water purification显示文摘It is an ideal way to produce clean water after sewage treatment,during which two problems need to be solved:(1)how to deal with water soluble pollutants and surface oil slick;(2)photothermal devices should float on water.This paper presents a multifunctional water treatment device that can produce clean water vapor under light after sewage treatment.The bismuth oxybromide catalyst degrades water-soluble pollutants under light irradiation.Superhydrophobic(SH)melamine sponge has two functions:selectively adsorb surface oil slick and ensure that photothermal devices float.The hydrophilic layer provides water for local heating of the photothermal layer to produce water vapor.The SH sponge remains stable and is easy to operate during wastewater treatment,and the efficiency of water vapor production through the photothermal device is increased by 7.2 times compared with that of pure water.MIAO Xiao LIU Shuai WANG Min GE Bo ZHU ChangQing 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,10:1
14M@B_9 and M@B_(10) molecular wheels containing planar nona-and deca-coordinate heavy group 11, 12, and 13 metals (M=Ag, Au, Cd, Hg, In, Tl)显示文摘A density functional and ab initio theory investigation on M@B9 and M@B10 molecular wheels containing planar nona-and deca-coordinate heavy group 11, 12 and 13 metals (M=Ag, Au, Cd, Hg, In, Ti) has been performed. These unusual clusters all prove to be true minima on the potential energy surfaces of the systems and σ+π double aromatic in nature. The first two vertical one-electron detachment energies of M@B-10 (M=Ag, Au) anions and first two ionization potentials of M@B9 (M=Ag, Au) and M@B10 (M=Cd, Hg) neutrals were calculated to aid future experiments. 17INTERACTION OF THREE PARALLEL CRACKS IN RECTANGULAR PLATE UNDER CYCLIC LOADS显示文摘This paper presents a numerical approach for modeling the interaction between multiple cracks in a rectangular plate under cyclic loads.It involves the formulation of fatigue growth of multiple crack tips under mixed-mode loading and an extension of a hybrid displacement discontinuity method(a boundary element method)to fatigue crack growth analyses.Because of an intrinsic feature of the boundary element method,a general growth problem of multiple cracks can be solved in a single-region formulation.In the numerical simulation,remeshing of existing boundaries is not necessary for each increment of crack extension.Crack extension is conveniently modeled by adding new boundary elements on the incremental crack extension to the previous crack boundaries.As an example,the numerical approach is used to analyze the fatigue growth of three parallel cracks in a rectangular plate.The numerical results illustrate the validation of the numerical approach and can reveal the efect of the geometry of the cracked plate on the fatigue growth.Changqing Miao Xiangqiao Yan 2013Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2013,26,5:1
