| 2 | Genetic diversity of Tricholoma matsutake in Yunnan Province显示文摘To investigate the genetic diversity of Tricholoma matsutake,we studied ITS and IGS1 sequences and PCR polymorphism of a retrotransposon in 56 fruit bodies collected from 13 counties of 9 regions in Yunnan Province. We found one and three haplotypes based on ITS and IGS1 sequences,respectively. Moreover,there was no significant difference in PCR polymorphism of the retrotransposon among different populations. | 6 | Genome sequences of five Sitopsis species of Aegilops and the origin of polyploid wheat B subgenome显示文摘Common wheat(Triticum aestivum,BBAADD)is a major staple food crop worldwide.The diploid progenitors of the A and D subgenomes have been unequivocally identified;that of B,however,remains ambiguous and controversial but is suspected to be related to species of Aegilops,section Sitopsis.Here,we report the assembly of chromosome-level genome sequences of all five Sitopsis species,namely Aegilops bicornis,Ae.longissima,Ae.searsii,Ae.sharonensis,and Ae.speltoides,as well as the partial assembly of the Amblyopyrum muticum(synonym Aegilops mutica)genome for phylogenetic analysis.Our results reveal that the donor of the common wheat B subgenome is a distinct,and most probably extinct,diploid species that diverged from an ancestral progenitor of the B lineage to which the still extant Ae.speltoides and Am.muticum belong.In addition,we identified interspecific genetic introgressions throughout the evolution of the Triticum/Aegilops species complex.The five Sitopsis species have various assembled genome sizes(4.11-5.89 Gb)with high proportions of repetitive sequences(85.99%-89.81%);nonetheless,they retain high collinearity with other genomes or subgenomes of species in the Triticum/Aegilops complex.Differences in genome size were primarily due to independent post-speciation amplification of transposons.We also identified a set of Sitopsis genes pertinent to important agronomic traits that can be harnessed for wheat breeding.These newly assembled genome resources provide a new roadmap for evolutionary and genetic studies of the Triticum/Aegilops complex,as well as for wheat improvement. | Lin-Feng Li Zhi-Bin Zhang Zhen-Hui Wang Ning Li Yan Sha Xin-Feng Wang Ning Ding Yang Li Jing Zhao Ying Wu Lei Gong Fabrizio Mafessoni Avraham A.Levy Bao Liu | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,3: | 5 |

| 8 | The role of pineal microRNA-325 in regulating circadian rhythms after neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain damage显示文摘Circadian rhythm disorder is a common,but often neglected,consequence of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD).However,the underlying molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown.We previously showed that,in a rat model of HIBD,up-regulation of microRNA-325(miR-325)in the pineal gland is responsible for the suppression of Aanat,a key enzyme involved in melatonin synthesis and circadian rhythm regulation.To better understand the mechanism by which miR-325 affects circadian rhythms in neonates with HIBD,we compared clinical samples from neonates with HIBD and samples from healthy neonates recruited from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University(Dushuhu Branch)in 2019.We found that circulating miR-325 levels correlated positively with the severity of sleep and circadian rhythm disorders in neonates with HIBD.Furthermore,a luciferase reporter gene assay revealed that LIM homeobox 3(LHX3)is a novel downstream target of miR-325.In addition,in miR-325 knock-down mice,the transcription factor LHX3 exhibited an miR-325-dependent circadian pattern of expression in the pineal gland.We established a neonatal mouse model of HIBD by performing doublelayer ligation of the left common carotid artery and exposing the pups to a low-oxygen environment for 2 hours.Lhx3 mRNA expression was significantly down-regulated in these mice and partially rescued in miR-325 knockout mice subjected to the same conditions.Finally,we showed that improvement in circadian rhythm-related behaviors in animals with HIBD was dependent on both miR-325 and LHX3.Taken together,our findings suggest that the miR-325-LHX3 axis is responsible for regulating circadian rhythms and provide novel insights into the identification of potential therapeutic targets for circadian rhythm disorders in patients with neonatal HIBD.The clinical trial was approved by Institutional Review Board of Children’s Hospital of Soochow University(approval No.2015028)on July 20,2015.Animal experiments were approved by Animal Care and Use Committee,School of Medicine,Soochow University,China(approval No.XD-2016-1)on January 15,2016. | Ning Sha Hua-Wei Wang Bin Sun Min Gong Po Miao Xiao-Lu Jiang Xiao-Feng Yang Mei Li Li-Xiao Xu Chen-Xi Feng Yuan-Yuan Yang Jie Zhang Wen-Jing Zhu Yuan-Yuan Gao Xing Feng Xin Ding | 2021 | Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,10: | 4 |
| 9 | Effects of long-term fertilization on oxidizable organic carbon fractions on the Loess Plateau,China显示文摘The effects of long-term fertilization on pools of soil organic carbon(SOC)have been well studied,but limited information is available on the oxidizable organic carbon(OOC)fractions,especially for the Loess Plateau in China.We evaluated the effects of a 15-year fertilization on the OOC fractions(F1,F2,F3 and F4)in the 0–20 and 20–40 cm soil layers in flat farmland under nine treatments(N(nitrogen,urea),P(phosphorus,monocalcium phosphate),M(organic fertilizer,composted sheep manure),N+P(NP),M+N(MN),M+P(MP),M+N+P(MNP),CK(control,no fertilizer)and bare land(BL,no crops or fertilizer)).SOC content increased more markedly in the treatment containing manure than in those with inorganic fertilizers alone.F1,F2,F4 and F3 accounted for 47%,27%,18% and 8% of total organic carbon,respectively.F1 was a more sensitive index than the other C fractions in the sensitivity index(SI)analysis.F1 and F2 were highly correlated with total nitrogen(TN)and available nitrogen(AN),F3 was negatively correlated with p H and F4 was correlated with TN.A cluster analysis showed that the treatments containing manure formed one group,and the other treatments formed another group,which indicated the different effects of fertilization on soil properties.Long-term fertilization with inorganic fertilizer increased the F4 fraction while manure fertilizer not only increased labile fractions(F1)in a short time,but also increased passive fraction(F4)over a longer term.The mixed fertilizer mainly affected F3 fraction.The study demonstrated that manure fertilizer was recommended to use in the farmland on the Loess Plateau for the long-term sustainability of agriculture. | DING Shaonan XUE Sha LIU Guobin | 2016 | Journal of Arid Land2016,8,4: | 4 |

| 11 | Preparation of New Cementitious System using Fly Ash and Dehydrated Autoclaved Aerated Concrete显示文摘We experimentally studied the interaction between pozzolanic material(fly ash) and dehydrated autoclaved aerated concrete(DAAC). The DAAC powder was obtained by grinding aerated concrete waste to particles fi ner than 75μm and was then heated to temperatures up to 900 ℃. New cementitious material was prepared by proportioning fly ash and DAAC, named as AF. X-ray diffraction(XRD) was employed to identify the crystalline phases of DAAC before and after rehydration. The hydration process of AF was analyzed by the heat of hydration and non-evaporable water content(Wn). The experimental results show that the highest reactivity of DAAC can be obtained by calcining the powder at 700 ℃ and the dehydrated products are mainly β-C2 S and CaO. The cumulative heat of hydration and Wn was found to be strongly dependent on the replacement level of fl y ash, increasing the replacement level of fl y ash lowered them in AF. | 12 | Enhancement of strength-ductility balance of heavy Ti and Al alloyed FeCoNiCr high-entropy alloys via boron doping显示文摘As one of the most effective mechanisms,precipitation-hardening is widely used to strengthen high-entropy alloys.Yet,heavy precipitation-hardened high-entropy alloys usually exhibit serious embrittlement.How to effectively achieve ultra-high strength and maintain reliable ductility remains a challenge.Here,we report a study of doping extremely little boron to meet this target.We found that adding of 30 ppm boron into the heavy Ti and Al alloyed FCC FeCoNiCr high-entropy,(FeCoNiCr)_(88) Ti_(6) Al_(6) HEA(at.%)which is strengthened mainly by both coarse BCC-based(Ni,Co)_(2) TiAl Heusler and fine L12-type FCC-based(Ni,Co)_(3) TiAl precipitates and shows ultrahigh strength but poor ductility,could significantly change the original microstructure and consequently improve mechanical performance,owing to the well-known effect of boron on reducing the energy of grain boundaries.The boron addition can(1)eliminate microcavities formed at Heusler precipitate-matrix interfaces;(2)suppress the formation and segregation of coarse BCC Heusler precipitates;(3)promote the formation of L12 nanoparticles.This changes of microstructure substantially improve the tensile ductility more than by~86%and retain comparable or even better ultimate tensile strength.These findings may provide a simple and costless solution to produce heavy precipitation-strengthened HEAs with ultrahigh strength and prevent accidental brittleness. | Yongliang Qi Tinghui Cao Hongxiang Zong Yake Wu Lin He Xiangdong Ding Feng Jiang Shenbao Jin Gang Sha Jun Sun | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,16: | 2 |
