1RAB31 marks and controls an ESCRT-independent exosome pathway显示文摘Exosomes are generated within the multivesicular endosomes(MVEs)as intraluminal vesicles(ILVs)and secreted during the fusion of MVEs with the cell membrane.The mechanisms of exosome biogenesis remain poorly explored.Here we identify that RAB31 marks and controls an ESCRT-independent exosome pathway.Active RAB31,phosphorylated by epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),engages flotillin proteins in lipid raft microdomains to drive EGFR entry into MVEs to form ILVs,which is independent of the ESCRT(endosomal sorting complex required for transport)machinery.Active RAB31 interacts with the SPFH domain and drives ILV formation via the Flotillin domain of flotillin proteins.Meanwhile,RAB31 recruits GTPase-activating protein TBC1D2B to inactivate RAB7,thereby preventing the fusion of MVEs with lysosomes and enabling the secretion of ILVs as exosomes.These findings establish that RAB31 has dual functions in the biogenesis of exosomes:driving ILVs formation and suppressing MVEs degradation,providing an exquisite framework to better understand exosome biogenesis.Denghui Wei Weixiang Zhan Ying Gao Liyan Huang Run Gong Wen Wang Ruhua Zhang Yuanzhong Wu Song Gao Tiebang Kang 2021Cell Research2021,31,2:12

3Roles of Te and Mn in the two phases of manganite with nominal composition La_(0.6)Sr_(0.1)Te_xMnO_3显示文摘Powder samples with nominal composition La0.6Sr0.1TexMnO3 (x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20) were prepared using the sol-gel method with thermal treatment up to 1473 K. On the basis of powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric and magnetic measurements, it was found that almost all of the Te and a few of the Mn ions were lost from the samples when they were calcined at 1473 K. 4Intrusions of Kuroshio and Shelf Waters on Northern Slope of South China Sea in Summer 2015显示文摘The northern slope region of the South China Sea(SCS) is a biological hot spot characterized by high primary productivity and biomasses transported by cross-shelf currents, which support the spawning and growth of commercially and ecologically important fish species. To understand the physical and biogeochemical processes that promote the high primary production of this region, we conducted a cruise from June 10 and July 2, 2015. In this study, we used fuzzy cluster analysis and optimum multiparameter analysis methods to analyze the hydrographic data collected during the cruise to determine the compositions of the upper 55-m water masses on the SCS northern slope and thereby elucidate the cross-slope transport of shelf water(SHW) and the intrusions of Kuroshio water(KW). We also analyzed the geostrophic currents derived from acoustic Doppler current profiler measurements and satellite data. The results reveal the surface waters on the northern slope of the SCS to be primarily composed of waters originating from South China Sea water(SCSW), KW, and SHW. The SCSW dominated a majority of the study region at percentages ranging between 60% and 100%. 9Intercellular transfer of activated STING triggered by RAB22A-mediated non-canonical autophagy promotes antitumor immunity显示文摘STING,an endoplasmic reticulum(ER)transmembrane protein,mediates innate immune activation upon cGAMP stimulation and is degraded through autophagy.Here,we report that activated STING could be transferred between cells to promote antitumor immunity,a process triggered by RAB22A-mediated non-canonical autophagy.Mechanistically,RAB22A engages PI4K2A to generate PI4P that recruits the Atg12–Atg5–Atg16L1 complex,inducing the formation of ER-derived RAB22A-mediated non-canonical autophagosome,in which STING activated by agonists or chemoradiotherapy is packaged.This RAB22A-induced autophagosome fuses with RAB22A-positive early endosome,generating a new organelle that we name Rafeesome(RAB22A-mediated non-canonical autophagosome fused with early endosome).Meanwhile,RAB22A inactivates RAB7 to suppress the fusion of Rafeesome with lysosome,thereby enabling the secretion of the inner vesicle of the autophagosome bearing activated STING as a new type of extracellular vesicle that we define as R-EV(RAB22A-induced extracellular vesicle).Activated STING-containing R-EVs induce IFNβrelease from recipient cells to the tumor microenvironment,promoting antitumor immunity.Consistently,RAB22A enhances the antitumor effect of the STING agonist diABZI in mice,and a high RAB22A level predicts good survival in nasopharyngeal cancer patients treated with chemoradiotherapy.Our findings reveal that Rafeesome regulates the intercellular transfer of activated STING to trigger and spread antitumor immunity,and that the inner vesicle of non-canonical autophagosome originated from ER is secreted as R-EV,providing a new perspective for understanding the intercellular communication of organelle membrane proteins.Ying Gao Xueping Zheng Boyang Chang Yujie Lin Xiaodan Huang Wen Wang Shirong Ding Weixiang Zhan Shang Wang Beibei Xiao Lanqing Huo Youhui Yu Yilin Chen Run Gong Yuanzhong Wu Ruhua Zhang Li Zhong Xin Wang Qiuyan Chen Song Gao Zhengfan Jiang Denghui Wei Tiebang Kang 2022Cell Research2022,32,12:1
10Fusion of Internal Similarity to Improve the Accuracy of Recommendation Algorithm显示文摘Collaborative filtering algorithms(CF)and mass diffusion(MD)algorithms have been successfully applied to recommender systems for years and can solve the problem of information overload.However,both algorithms suffer from data sparsity,and both tend to recommend popular products,which have poor diversity and are not suitable for real life.In this paper,we propose a user internal similarity-based recommendation algorithm(UISRC).UISRC first calculates the item-item similarity matrix and calculates the average similarity between items purchased by each user as the user’s internal similarity.The internal similarity of users is combined to modify the recommendation score to make score predictions and suggestions.Simulation experiments on RYM and Last.FM datasets,the results show that UISRC can obtain better recommendation accuracy and a variety of recommendations than traditional CF and MD algorithms.Zejun Yang Denghui Xia Jin Liu Chao Zheng Yanzhen Qu Yadang Chen Chengjun Zhang 2021Journal on Internet of Things2021,3,2:0
11Integrated guidance and control design method based on finite-time state observer显示文摘A composited integrated guidance and control(IGC) algorithm is presented to tackle the problem of the IGC design in the dive phase for the bank-to-turn(BTT) vehicle with the inaccuracy information of the line-of-sight(LOS) rate. For the sake of theoretical derivation, an IGC model in the pitch plane is established. The high-order finite-time state observer(FTSO), with the LOS angle as the single input, is employed to reconstruct the states of the system online. Besides, a composited IGC algorithm is presented via the fusion of back-stepping and dynamic inverse. Compared with the traditional IGC algorithm, the proposed composited IGC method can attenuate effectively the design conservation of the flight control system, while the LOS rate is mixed with noise. 13Effect of calcination temperature on B-site vacancy content of La0.75Sr0.25Mn0.92△0.08O3-δperovskite显示文摘Lanthanum manganite with cation vacancies from nominal La_(0.75)Sr_(0.25)Mn_(0.92)△_(0.08)O_(3-δ) nanocrystalline powder was successfully prepared at different calcination temperatures using the sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction shows that as the calcination temperature(T_(Cal)) increases, the crystal particle diameter increases, but the B-site vacancy content decreases. According to a powder diffraction profile fitting technique and transmission electron microscopy results, the vacancy content can be estimated as 0.08,0.01, and 0.005 for T_(Cal) = 1073,1273, and 1473 K, respectively. Magnetization versus temperature curves show that the magnetic transition temperatures, including the Curie temperature, are influenced by both B-site vacancies and double-exchange interaction between Mn^(3+) and Mn^(4+) cations. A core-shell model is proposed for vacancies located on the surfaces of the crystal particles. 14Oxygen-deficient TiO_(2) Yolk-shell Spheres for Enhanced Lithium Storage Properties显示文摘Anatase TiO_(2) is a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)owing to its low cost and stability.However,the intrinsically kinetic limits seriously hindered its lithium-ion storage capability.Here we present that anatase TiO_(2) with rich oxygen vacancies can enhance its lithium-ion storage performance.We synthesize anatase TiO_(2) with well-retained hierarchical structure by annealing the H_(2)Ti_(5)O_(11)·3H_(2)O yolk-shell spheres precursor in nitrogen atmosphere.EPR and XPS data evidence that the oxygen-deficient environment could generate abundant oxygen vacancies in the as-derived anatase TiO_(2),which leads to improved electron conductivity and reduced charge-transfer resistance.The rich oxygen vacancies and high structural integrity of the hierarchical yolk-shell spheres enable the as-derived anatase TiO_(2) yolk-shell spheres with a high specific capacity of 280 mAh g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1) and 71%of capacity retention after 5000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1).Zhaoqian Li Yuqi Peng Chaofeng Liu Xianxi Zhang Xiuling Li Yang Huang Yingke Ren Denghui Ji Guozhong Cao 2022Energy & Environmental Materials2022,5,1:0
15Characterization of functional transposable element enhancers in acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘Transposable elements(TEs)have been shown to have important gene regulatory functions and their alteration could lead to disease phenotypes.Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)develops as a consequence of a series of genetic changes in hematopoietic precursor cells,including mutations in epigenetic factors.Here,we set out to study the gene regulatory role of TEs in AML.We first explored the epigenetic landscape of TEs in AML patients using ATAC-seq data.We show that a large number of TEs in general,and more specifically mammalian-wide interspersed repeats(MIRs),are more enriched in AML cells than in normal blood cells.We obtained a similar finding when analyzing histone modification data in AML patients.Gene Ontology enrichment analysis showed that genes near MIRs in open chromatin regions are involved in leukemogenesis.To functionally validate their regulatory role,we selected 19 MIR regions in AML cells,and tested them for enhancer activity in an AML cell line(Kasumi-1)and a chronic myeloid leukemia(CML)cell line(K562);the results revealed several MIRs to be functional enhancers.Taken together,our results suggest that TEs are potentially involved in myeloid leukemogenesis and highlight these sequences as potential candidates harboring AML-associated variation.Yingying Zeng Yaqiang Cao Rivka Sukenik Halevy Picard Nguyen Denghui Liu Xiaoli Zhang Nadav Ahituv Jing-Dong JHan 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,5:0
16Metal-atom-doped W_(18)O_(49) nanowires for electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction in alkaline medium显示文摘Non-noble transition metal oxides(TMOs)are promising catalysts with improved catalytic activity and stability in oxygen evolution reaction(OER).However,the structural complexity of TMO-based electrocatalysts renders the determination of the active sites and OER mechanisms challenging.Here,we demonstrate that the OER activity of Co-doped one-dimensional W_(18)O_(49)(Co-W_(18)O_(49))is intrinsically dominated by the surface structure and electronic properties of the octahedral sites and Co-O-W bonds.Compared with RuO_(2) and W_(18)O_(49) heterogeneous electrocatalysts,Co-W_(18)O_(49) exhibits higher turnover frequency,attaining 1.97 s−1 at 500 mV overpotential.The results indicate that Co substitution contributes to the localized charge distribution of the active octahedral sites constructed by the Co-O-W bonds under OER conditions.Here,we determine the mechanism of TMOs for the OER,which may be applied to various other TMOs for OER electrocatalyst design.Liangbo Xie Long Hai Yuan Meng Wenwen Zheng Huapu Hu Denghui Shang Ke Shao Cailing Zhang Yi Li 2023ChemPhysMater2023,2,2:0
17Privacy‐preserving remote sensing images recognition based on limited visual cryptography显示文摘With the arrival of new data acquisition platforms derived from the Internet of Things(IoT),this paper goes beyond the understanding of traditional remote sensing technologies.Deep fusion of remote sensing and computer vision has hit the industrial world and makes it possible to apply Artificial intelligence to solve problems such as automatic extraction of information and image interpretation.However,due to the complex architecture of IoT and the lack of a unified security protection mechanism,devices in remote sensing are vulnerable to privacy leaks when sharing data.It is necessary to design a security scheme suitable for computation‐limited devices in IoT,since traditional encryption methods are based on computational complexity.Visual Cryptography(VC)is a threshold scheme for images that can be decoded directly by the human visual system when superimposing encrypted images.The stacking‐to‐see feature and simple Boolean decryption operation make VC an ideal solution for privacy‐preserving recognition for large‐scale remote sensing images in IoT.In this study,the secure and efficient transmission of high‐resolution remote sensing images by meaningful VC is achieved.By diffusing the error between the encryption block and the original block to adjacent blocks,the degradation of quality in recovery images is mitigated.By fine‐tuning the pre‐trained model from large‐scale datasets,we improve the recognition performance of small encryption datasets for remote sensing images.The experimental results show that the proposed lightweight privacy‐preserving recognition framework maintains high recognition performance while enhancing security.Denghui Zhang Muhammad Shafiq Liguo Wang Gautam Srivastava Shoulin Yin 2023CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2023,8,4:0
18A Virtual Machine Placement Strategy Based on Virtual Machine Selection and Integration显示文摘Cloud data centers face the largest energy consumption.In order to save energy consumption in cloud data centers,cloud service providers adopt a virtual machine migration strategy.In this paper,we propose an efficient virtual machine placement strategy(VMP-SI)based on virtual machine selection and integration.Our proposed VMP-SI strategy divides the migration process into three phases:physical host state detection,virtual machine selection and virtual machine placement.The local regression robust(LRR)algorithm and minimum migration time(MMT)policy are individual used in the first and section phase,respectively.Then we design a virtual machine migration strategy that integrates the process of virtual machine selection and placement,which can ensure a satisfactory utilization efficiency of the hardware resources of the active physical host.Experimental results show that our proposed method is better than the approach in Cloudsim under various performance metrics.Denghui Zhang Guocai Yin 2021Journal on Internet of Things2021,3,4:0
19YOLO-Banana:An Effective Grading Method for Banana Appearance Quality显示文摘The increasing trend towards independent fruit packaging demands a high appearance quality of individually packed fruits.In this paper,we propose an improved YOLOv5-based model,YOLO-Banana,to effectively grade banana appearance quality based on the number of banana defect points.Due to the minor and dense defects on the surface of bananas,existing detection algorithms have poor detection results and high missing rates.To address this,we propose a densitybased spatial clustering of applications with noise(DBSCAN)and K-means fusion clustering method that utilizes refined anchor points to obtain better initial anchor values,thereby enhancing the network’s recognition accuracy.Moreover,the optimized progressive aggregated network(PANet)enables better multi-level feature fusion.Additionally,the non-maximum suppression function is replaced with a weighted non-maximum suppression(weighted NMS)function based on distance intersection over union(DIoU).Experimental results show that the model’s accuracy is improved by 2.3%compared to the original YOLOv5 network model,thereby effectively grading the banana appearance quality.Dianhui Mao Xuesen Wang Yiming Liu Denghui Zhang Jianwei Wu Junhua Chen 2023Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2023,32,3:0
