2Hd1,Ghd7,and DTH8 synergistically determine the rice heading date and yield-related agronomic traits显示文摘Heading date determines the seasonal and regional adaptation of rice(Oryza sativa L.)varieties and is mainly controlled by photoperiod sensitivity(PS).The core heading date genes Hd1,Ghd7,DTH8,and PRR37 act synergistically in regulating the PS.In this study,we systematically analyze the heading date,PS,and agronomic traits of eight homozygous lines with various combinations of Hd1,Ghd7,and DTH8 alleles in the prr37 background under long-day(LD)and short-day(SD)conditions,respectively.We find that Hd1 alone promotes heading,regardless of the day length.However,under LDs,Hd1 suppresses flowering,in coordination with functional Ghd7 or with Ghd7 and DTH8.These loci cooperate to negatively regulate the Ehd1-Hd3 a/RFT1 pathway and delay heading.Under SDs,Hd1 competes with various heading suppressors to promote heading.Therefore,the dual function of Hd1 is vital for PS.The lines carrying Hd1 alone show reduced plant height with fewer primary and secondary branches in panicles.Lines carrying Ghd7 and DTH8(with hd1)show delayed heading and improve agronomic traits.Overall,our results reveal the regulation of rice PS flowering by the core heading date genes and their effects on agronomic traits,providing valuable information for the selection of rice varieties for adaptation to different light and temperature conditions.Kangli Sun Minghui Huang Wubei Zong Dongdong Xiao Chen Lei Yanqiu Luo Yingang Song Shengting Li Yu Hao Wanni Luo Bingqun Xu Xiaotong Guo Guangliang Wei Letian Chen Yao-Guang Liu Jingxin Guo 2022Journal of Genetics and Genomics2022,49,5:4
3Vibration of functionally graded sandwich doubly curved shells using improved shear deformation theory显示文摘Nonlinear forced vibrations and natural frequency of sandwich functionally graded material doubly curved shallow shell with a rectangular base are investigated. The sandwich functionally graded material(FGM) doubly curved shell is subjected to a harmonic point load at centre. The sandwich doubly curved shell with homogeneous face sheets and FGM face sheets is considered respectively when the natural frequencies are studied. Reddy's third order shear deformation theory is expanded in which stretching effects in thickness are considered by introducing the secant function. Hamilton's principle and von-Karman type nonlinear geometric equation are applied to obtain partial differential equation of the FGM sandwich doubly curved shell. Comparative studies with other shear deformation theories are carried out to validate the present formulation. Navier method is used to discuss the natural vibration frequencies of the FGM sandwich doubly curved shell. Numerical simulation is applied to demonstrate the nonlinear dynamic responses of the FGM sandwich doubly curved shell. 4Versatile Graphene-Isolated AuAg-Nanocrystal for Multiphase Analysis and Multimodal Cellular Raman Imaging显示文摘Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)-based bioanalytical technique involves the interaction of SERS-active substrate with complex environment,which has aroused intensive research interests.Compared to the commonly used Au SERS substrates,Ag nanocrystals have larger optical absorption cross section and acceptable price,but they possess poor oxidation resistance and potential biotoxicity,and the occurrence of unnecessary chemical reactions is inevitable due to the direct contact with probe molecules.Herein,we report a graphene-isolated AuAg nanocrystal(GIAAN)with the SERS-active AuAg core confined in a nanospace of few-layer graphene shell,which possesses unique Raman peaks,high SERS activity,excellent stability,superior fluorescence quenching performance and good biocompatibility.Based on the limited solubility of GIAAN in water and organic solvents,it is able to spontaneously generate interfacial self-assembled GIAAN(ISA-GIAAN)film at immiscible two-phase interfaces without any inducer,and multiphase Raman analysis of both water-and lipid-soluble drug model molecules is further achieved.Moreover,the GIAAN is further non-covalently functionalized with polyoxyethylenestearyl ether(C18-PEG)to acquire GIAAN@PEG with good water-solubility for SERS quantitative analysis in homogeneous system and multimodal Raman imaging of MCF-7 cells.We expect the versatile GIAAN holds great potential to monitor drug metabolism and guide intended drug delivery in clinic trials.Shengkai Li Zhaotian Zhu Xinqi Cai Minghui Song Shen Wang Qing Hao Long Chen Zhuo Chen 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,6:2

10Transcriptome analysis suggests mechanisms for a novel flowering type: Cleistogamous wheat显示文摘Wheat is one of the most important staple crops worldwide.Fusarium head blight severely reduces wheat yield and quality.Cultivation of a novel type of cleistogamous wheat mutant,ZK001,which was created by static magnetic field treatment,is a new strategy for controlling Fusarium head blight.However,little is known about the mechanism of cleistogamy in wheat.The present study demonstrated that anthers of ZK001 were retained on the glumes at all flowering stages,whereas those of YM18 were extruded from the paleae and lemmae.There was a clear difference in the morphological characteristics of lodicules between YM18 and ZK001.Lodicule calcium and potassium contents were significantly higher in YM18 than in ZK001 from white to yellow anther stages.In Fusarium head blight resistance,the diseased kernel rate and deoxynivalenol content of ZK001 were markedly lower than those of YM18 and QM725.Comparative transcriptome analysis of YM18 and ZK001 was performed to identify regulatory mechanisms of cleistogamy.The main differentially expressed genes identified in the spikelets of YM18 and ZK001 at the green anther stage were associated with cell walls,carbohydrates,phytohormones,water channel,and ion binding,transport,and homeostasis.These differentially expressed genes may play an important role in regulating cellular homeostasis,osmotic pressure,and lodicule development.The results indicate that ZK001 lost the ability to push the lemmae and paleae apart during the flowering stage because of the thin lodicules.ZK001 was speculated to provide structural barriers for Fusarium head blight during the flowering stage.The thin lodicule of ZK001 results from low levels of soluble sugar,calcium ions,and potassium ions in the lodicules.These levels are regulated by differentially expressed genes.Caiguo Tang Minghao Li Minghui Cao Ruiju Lu Huilan Zhang Chenghong Liu Shengwei Huang Pingping Zhang Hao Hu Weiwei Zhao Lifang Wu 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,2:1

13Reconstructing avascular necrotic femoral head through a bioactiveβ-TCP system:From design to application显示文摘A variety of techniques have been used for treating avascular necrosis of the femoral head(ANFH),but have frequently failed.In this study,we proposed aβ-TCP system for the treatment of ANFH by boosting revascularization and bone regeneration.The angio-conductive properties and concurrent osteogenesis of the highly interconnected porousβ-TCP scaffold were revealed and quantified through an in vivo model that simulated the ischemic environment of ANFH.Mechanical test and finite element analysis showed that the mechanical loss caused by tissue necrosis and surgery was immediately partially compensated after implantation,and the strength of the operated femoral head was adaptively increased and eventually returned to normal bone,along with continuous material degradation and bone regeneration.For translational application,we further conducted a multi-center open-label clinical trial to assess the efficacy of theβ-TCP system in treating ANFH.Two hundred fourteen patients with 246 hips were enrolled for evaluation,and 82.1%of the operated hips survived at a 42.79-month median follow-up.The imaging results,hip function,and pain scores were dramatically improved compared to preoperative levels.ARCO stage II disease outperformed stage III in terms of clinical effectiveness.Thus,bio-adaptive reconstruction using theβ-TCP system is a promising hip-preserving strategy for the treatment of ANFH.Yajie Lu Xiantao Chen Xiao Lu Changning Sun Minghui Li Guojing Chen Zuoyao Long Yuan Gao Haoqiang Zhang Mengquan Huang Chuanlei Ji Hongbin Fan Dong Liu Yuewen Hao Hong Wang Leilei Zhang Hongmei Zhang Jianxi Lu Zhen Wang Jing Li 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,10:1

17Enhanced efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells by 2D perovskite vapor-assisted interface optimization显示文摘Organic–inorganic perovskites solar cells(PSCs)have attracted great attention due to their rapid progress in power conversion efficiency(PCE).However,there is still an enormous challenge to achieve both high efficiency and stability devices as the decomposition of perovskite materials under humid and light conditions.Herein,we demonstrate that high efficiency and stability of PSCs can be obtained by the reaction of three-dimensional(3D)perovskite with 1,4-butanediamine iodide(BEAI2)vapor.The incorporation of BEAI2 intensively promotes the crystallization of perovskite film with large grain size(~500 nm).Further characterization reveals that the post-treatment perovskite film delivered low interface trap density with long carrier lifetime(>200 ns),long carrier diffusion length(>600 nm)and large carrier mobility(>1.5 cm^2 V-1S-1).Solar cells employing such post-treatment films demonstrated 19.58%PCE without hysteresis.Moreover,the post-treatment devices can retain over 90%original efficiencies stored under ambient atmospheric conditions and exhibit better stability under 85℃and continuous illumination as a two-dimensional(2D)perovskite thin layer is formed on the surface/or at the grain boundaries of 3D perovskite.This study offers an effective way to obtain PSCs with high efficiency and stability.Minghui Chen Pengwei Li Chao Liang Hao Gu Weishuang Tong Shiping Cheng Weili Li Ganqing Zhao Guosheng Shao 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,6:1
18Enhanced strength-ductility synergy via high dislocation density-induced strain hardening in nitrogen interstitial CrMnFeCoNi high-entropy alloy显示文摘The present work demonstrates that nitrogen doping inhibits the formation of deformation twins in a CrMnFeCoNi high entropy alloy,while significantly increases the strength without sacrificing much duc-tility at 77 K.Microstructural characterization and first-principles calculations were employed to unveil the role of interstitial nitrogen atoms in obtaining such an excellent combination of strength and ductility at 77 K.It is found that nitrogen addition increases generalized stacking fault energy(GSFE)and reduces twinning.However,the pinning of dislocations by nitrogen atoms effectively suppresses dislocation cross-slip and dynamic recovery and in turn,promotes the accumulation of dislocations.The high dislocation density induces a high strain hardening capacity and improves uniform elongation,which compensates for the ductility loss accompanied by solid solution strengthening.The effect of nitrogen doping enriches the design concept of high-and medium-entropy alloys,providing an economical and effective strategy to develop ultra-high-performance alloys that are suitable for cryogenic applications.Huabing Li Yu Han Hao Feng Gang Zhou Zhouhua Jiang Minghui Cai Yizhuang Li Mingxin Huang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,10:0
19Output Prediction of Helical Microfiber Temperature Sensors in Cycling Measurement by Deep Learning显示文摘The inconsistent response curve of delicate micro/nanofiber(MNF)sensors during cycling measurement is one of the main factors which greatly limit their practical application.In this paper,we proposed a temperature sensor based on the copper rod-supported helical microfiber(HMF).The HMF sensors exhibited different light intensity-temperature response relationships in single-cycle measurements.Two neural networks,the deep belief network(DBN)and the backpropagation neural network(BPNN),were employed respectively to predict the temperature of the HMF sensor in different sensing processes.The input variables of the network were the sensor geometric parameters(the microfiber diameter,wrapped length,coiled turns,and helical angle)and the output optical intensity under different working processes.The root mean square error(RMSE)and Pearson correlation coefficient(R)were used to evaluate the predictive ability of the networks.The DBN with two restricted Boltzmann machines(RBMs)provided the best temperature prediction results(RMSE and R of the heating process are 0.9705℃and 0.9969,while the values of RMSE and R of the cooling process are 0.7866℃and 0.9977,respectively).The prediction results obtained by the optimal BPNN(five hidden layers,10 neurons in each layer,RMSE=1.1266℃,R=0.9957)were slightly inferior to those obtained by the DBN.The neural network could accurately and reliably predict the response of the HMF sensor in cycling operation,which provided the possibility for the flexible application of the complex MNF sensor in a wide sensing range.Minghui CHEN Jinjin HAN Juan LIU Fangzhu ZHENG Shihang GENG Shimeng TANG Zhijun WU Jixiong PU Xining ZHANG Hao DAI 2023Photonic Sensors2023,13,3:0
