1Spatio-temporal variability of phytoplankton assemblages and its controlling factors in spring and summer in the Subei Shoal of Yellow Sea, China显示文摘The Subei Shoal is a special coastal area with complex physical oceanographic properties in the Yellow Sea.In the present study,the distribution of phytoplankton and its correlation with environmental factors were studied during spring and summer of 2012 in the Subei Shoal of the Yellow Sea.Phytoplankton species composition and abundance data were accomplished by Utermohl method.Diatoms represented the greatest cellular abundance during the study period.In spring,the phytoplankton cell abundance ranged from 1.59×10^3 to 269.78×10^3 cell/L with an average of 41.80×10^3 cell/L,and Skeletonema sp.and Paralia sulcata was the most dominant species.In summer,the average phytoplankton cell abundance was 72.59×10^3 cell/L with the range of 1.78×10^3 to 574.96×10^3 cell/L,and the main dominant species was Pseudo-nitzschia pungens,Skeletonema sp.,Dactyliosolen fragilissima and Chaetoceros curvisetus.The results of a redundancy analysis(RDA)showed that turbidity,temperature,salinity,pH,dissolved oxygen(DO),the ratio of dissolved inorganic nitrogen to silicate and SiO4-Si(DIN/SiO4-Si)were the most important environmental factors controlling phytoplankton assemblages in spring or summer in the Subei Shoal of the Yellow Sea.Yuanzi Huo Honghua Shi Jianheng Zhang Qiao Liu Yuanliang Duan Qing He Kefeng Yu Hongsheng Bi Chunlei Fan Peimin He 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,10:4
2BP neural network based flexural strength prediction of open-porous Cu-SnTi composites显示文摘Open-porous Cu-Sn-Ti composites are fabricated by the space holder sintering technique using carbamide particles as space-holder material. Generally, the mechanical properties of open-porous sintered composites,especially the flexural strength affect the machine tools wear significantly. In this paper, a back-propagation(BP)artificial neural network with genetic algorithm(GA) and particle swarm optimization algorithm(PSOA) was then employed to relate the composition parameters(pore size, porosity and concentration of molybdenum disulfide particles) to the flexural strength. Furthermore, a comparison of predicted and experimental results using GA-BP and PSOA-BP models was conducted and good prediction accuracy was obtained. The study showed that PSOA-BP models could achieve better prediction results in aspects of the higher convergence velocity, lower relative errors of the flexure strength utilizing GA-BP models. 4Synthesis of the superfine high-entropy zirconate nanopowders by polymerized complex method显示文摘The high-purity and superfine high-entropy zirconate nanopowders,namely(Y_(0.25)La_(0.25)Sm_(0.25)Eu_(0.25))_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)nanopowders,without agglomeration,were successfully synthesized via polymerized complex method at low temperatures for the first time.The results showed that the crystallinity degree,lattice strain,and particle size of the as-synthesized powders were gradually enhanced with the increase of the synthesis temperature from 800 to 1300℃.The as-synthesized powders involved fluorite phase in the range of 800-1200℃while they underwent the phase evolution from fluorite to pyrochlore at 1300℃.It is worth mentioning that the as-synthesized powders at 900℃are of the highest quality among all the as-synthesized powders,which is due to the fact that they not only possess the particle size of 11 nm without agglomeration,but also show high purity and good compositional uniformity.Yangjie HAN Renwang YU Honghua LIU Yanhui CHU 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,1:2
5Biochar-Induced Priming Effects in Young and Old Poplar Plantation Soils显示文摘The priming effect(PE)induced by biochar provides a basis for evaluating its carbon(C)sequestration potential in soils.A 60 days’laboratory incubation was conducted,which involved the amendment of biochar(1%of soil mass)produced from rice straw at 300℃(B300)and 500℃(B500)to young(Y)and old(O)poplar plantation soils,with the aim of studying the responses of biochar-induced PEs to poplar plantation ages.This incubation included six treatments:Y+CK(control),Y+B300,Y+B500,O+CK,O+B300,and O+B500.Carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions were significantly increased(p<0.05)in the B300 amended soils,while it was decreased in the B500 amended soils compared to the CK.The primed CO_(2) emissions were 2.35 times higher in the Y+B300 than the O+B300 treatments,which was measured to be 18.6 and 5.56 mg C·kg^(-1) with relative PEs of 12.4%and 3.35%,respectively.However,there was little difference between the primed CO_(2) emissions in Y+B500 and O+B500 treatments,which were measured to be-24.9 and-29.6 mg·C·kg^(-1) with relative PEs of-16.6%and-17.8%,respectively.Dissolved organic carbon(DOC)was significantly lower in the young poplar plantation soil than that in the old poplar plantation soil regardless of biochar amendment throughout the incubation,indicating greater C-limit of soil microorganisms in the young poplar plantation soil.Using ^(13)C isotope tracing,neither B300 nor B500 decreased native soil-derived DOC,which indicated that the negative B500-induced PEs were not due to a reduction in the availability of native soil-derived C.In conclusion,the response of biochar-induced PEs to poplar plantation age depends on biochar types while soil available C indirectly affects biochar-induced PEs.Further studies should focus on how the interactive effects between soil C availability and microbial community impacts biochar-induced PEs.Weiwei Lu Yirui Zhang Yixian Yao Yuying Wu Han Y.H.Chen Hailin Zhang Jia Yu Caiqin Shen Qi Liu Honghua Ruan 2020Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,1:2

7Analyses of dynamic characteristics of a fluid-filled thin rectangular porous plate with various boundary conditions显示文摘Based on the classical theory of thin plate and Biot theory, a precise model of the transverse vibrations of a thin rectangular porous plate is proposed. The first order differential equations of the porous plate are derived in the frequency domain. By considering the coupling effect between the solid phase and the fluid phase and without any hypothesis for the fluid displacement, the model presented here is rigorous and close to the real materials. Owing to the use of extended homogeneous capacity precision integration method and precise element method, the model can be applied in higher frequency range than pure numerical methods. This model also easily adapts to various boundary conditions. 11Development of urban underground space in coastal cities in China:A review显示文摘The development of urban underground space is a critical way to alleviate the lack of urban resources,and improve environmental conditions as well as residents'quality of life,which has important practical significance.As the most densely populated and economically developed areas,coastal cities face many challenges in underground space development owing to their unique environmental geological conditions.This study examined the current situation of underground space development,academic research,technology application,evaluation methods,planning,and legislation in coastal cities in China.On this basis,it analyzed the future development trends,and presented reasonable suggestions for the critical scientific and technical problems faced by the development of underground space in coastal cities.The key suggestions are as follows:it is necessary to define and clarify the critical geological issues,distributions,and hazards that affect underground space development and major engineering construction in coastal cities;the land-sea integrated detection technology for sea crossing bridges and submarine tunnels needs to be studied;in evaluating the suitability of underground space in coastal cities,the land and sea area evaluation factors should be integrated;and the evaluation system of landsea integration needs to be established.Peng Yu Honghua Liu Zhongsheng Wang Jiani Fu Hui Zhang Jia Wang Qi Yang 2023Deep Underground Science and Engineering2023,2,2:0
12The Inhibitory Effects of PSS-Loaded Nanoparticles on the Dysfunction of Cardiac Microvascular Endothelia in Rats with Diabetic Cardiomyopathy显示文摘Propylene glycol alginate sodium sulfate-loaded nanoparticles(PSS-NP) has been shown potential to prevent the microvascular endothelial injuries caused by diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM). In this study, we aimed to investigate the effects of PSS-NP on the dysfunction of cardiac microvascular endothelia in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced DCM rat model. Echocardiographic measurements showed a significant improvement of cardiac function in the PSS-NP-treated group. Our results revealed that the abnormalities of cardiac systolic and diastolic functions were suppressed by the treatments of prostaglandin E1(PGE1), low molecular weight heparin(LMWH), PSS and PSS-NP. Our comparison analysis indicated that PSS-NP showed the strongest inhibitory effects on microvascular endothelial injuries. Transmission electron microscopy analysis demonstrated that PSS-NP protected the cardiac microvascular endothelium and further improved endothelium dysfunction in DCM rats. ELISA and Western blot assays further showed a high efficiency of improving cardiac microvascular endothelial dysfunction with PSS-NP. Our results demonstrated that PSS-NP increased the protein expression of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)-p85 and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)-A, and the phosphorylation of protein kinase B(Akt) and endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS), which were involved in the amelioration of cardiac microvascular endothelial dysfunction. 13Characteristics of Water Type Distribution and Seasonal Variations in the Southern East China Sea显示文摘By using the data of Summer and Winter 1987, Spring and Autumn 1988 obtained by the R/V ' Shijian' during the China-Japan Joint Research Program on Kuroshio, the paper makes an analysis and research on the water type distribution and its variations in the studied sea area. Trie results of which are mainly as follows: (1) The Class IV mixing water whose property is similar to that of the continental coastal water is located in the northeast sea area, along the coast of the continent in autumn and winter while extending to the open sea in spring and summer. (2) The boundary between the Kuroshio water and the shelf mixing water (called the left boundary of the Kroshio water) is approximately located in between the 100m and 200m isobaths in various seasons and various layers, and mostly near the 200m isobath. In the sea area northeast of Taiwan, the Kuroshio water is to the west most in spring and then in winter.
