1The chemosensory protein of Chinese honeybee, Apis cerana cerana: Molecular cloning of cDNA, immunocytochemical localization and expression显示文摘Chemosensory proteins (CSPs) are ubiquitous soluble small proteins isolated from sensory organs thought to be involved in chemical communication. Here we report the first cDNA of CSPs, called Ac-ASP3, cloned and characterized from antennas of adult worker bees in Chinese honeybee, Apis cerana cerana. The Ac-ASP3 cDNA comprises 2 exons, with an ORF of 393-bp encoding 130 aa. Protein signature analyses show that the protein consists of four conserved cysteines and a signal peptide with 19 aa in the N-terminal sequence. The deduced protein sequence shares high homology with Am-ASP3 of Apis mellifera and low similarity with other species of insects. Immunocytochemical localization shows that Ac-ASP3 is only specifically expressed on the antenna contact chemosensilla such as sensilla trichodea B and sensilla basiconica, whereas Ac-ASP3 is scarcely expressed on olfactory chemosensilla such as sensilla placodea. Real-time PCR of Ac-ASP3 transcripts shows that Ac-ASP3 is highly expressed on wings and legs, but expression is lower on antenna. Temporal expression patterns suggest that Ac-ASP3 is expressed during the period of pupa and adults from 1-d to 6-d stages when bees act as house bees, cleaning the comb and taking care of the queen and larvae in comb. The above evidence suggests that Ac-ASP3 is unique in species and is generally not involved in olfaction during searching for honey and pollen. 2Evidence for charge and spin density waves in single crystals of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7) and La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6)显示文摘Charge and spin orders are intimately related to superconductivity in copper oxide superconductors.Elucidation of the competing orders in various nickel oxide compounds is crucial,given the fact that superconductivity has been discovered in Nd_(0.8)Sr_(0.2)NiO_(2)films.Herein,we report structural,electronic transport,magnetic,and thermodynamic characterizations of single crystals of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)and La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6).La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)is metallic with mixed Ni^(2+)and Ni^(3+)valent states.Resistivity measurements yield two transition-like kinks at~110 and 153 K.The kink at 153 K is further revealed from magnetization and specific heat measurements,indicative of the formation of charge and spin density waves.La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6)single crystals obtained from the topochemical reduction of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)are insulating and show an anomaly at~176 K on magnetic susceptibility.The transition-like behaviors of La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(7)and La_(3)Ni_(2)O_(6)are analogous to those observed in La_(4)Ni_(3)O_(10) and La_(4)Ni_(3)O_(8),suggesting that charge and spin density waves are a common feature in the ternary La-Ni-O system with mixed-valent states of nickel.Zengjia Liu Hualei Sun Mengwu Huo Xiaoyan Ma Yi Ji Enkui Yi Lisi Li Hui Liu Jia Yu Ziyou Zhang Zhiqiang Chen Feixiang Liang Hongliang Dong Hanjie Guo Dingyong Zhong Bing Shen Shiliang Li Meng Wang 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,1:2

4Air-Steam Etched Construction of Hierarchically Porous Metal-Organic Frameworks显示文摘The introduction of mesoporosity into the microporous metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)is expected to expand their applications.Herein,we report a green and facile method to obtain hierarchically porous MOF structures by using an air-steam etching process.By virtue of the protonation reaction between the imidazole moiety and water vapor,the protonated imidazole related linkers leave the framework,resulting in the formation of mesopores in the zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs),as exemplified by ZIF-8.Given the mild etching process,the materials'structural integrity and crystallinity are well maintained.Accordingly,the hierarchical porous ZIF-8 exhibited enhanced performance in the dye removal as well as CO_(2) cycloaddition reaction with epichlorohydrin in comparison with microporous ZIF-8,owing to the accelerated mass transfer arising from mesoporous structures.Remarkably,the proposed steam etching approach is generally applicable,which can be readily extended to other ZIFs,such as ZIF-14,ZIF-69,and ZIF-71,thus representing a powerful strategy to construct hierarchically porous MOF materials.Hongliang Huang Yuxiu Sun Xuemeng Jia Wenjuan Xue Chenxu Geng Xin Zhao Donghai Mei Chongli Zhong 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,6:2

10Pore engineering of ZIF-8 with ionic liquids for membrane-based CO_(2)separation:bearing functional group effect显示文摘CO_(2)separation performance of polymer membranes can be significantly enhanced by selecting porous fillers with high CO_(2)affinity.Ionic liquids incorporation has been recognized as an effective strategy for improving the separation ability of pristine porous fillers.However,the influence of the specific functional groups of ILs in IL@MOF composites on separation performance of MMMs still remains unclear.Herein,we designed three microenvironment-tuned IL@ZIF-8 composites in which the three ILs contain different functional groups(-CH3,–SO3H,and–NH2).Molecular simulation results showed that the NH2-IL@ZIF-8 has a commendable CO_(2)adsorption capacity and CO_(2)/CH4 adsorptive selectivity,and the results were well confirmed by the following experimental data.More importantly,the prepared NH2-IL@ZIF-8 based MMMs also exhibit superior CO_(2)separation performance among the three IL@ZIF-8 based MMMs owning to its high CO_(2)affinity.Thus,this work can provide guidance for designing IL@MOF composites for MMMs fabrication towards gas separation,and the research mode combining molecular simulation prediction and experimental verification can afford valuable reference for material development in membrane separation field.Zhengqing Zhang Xuemeng Jia Yuxiu Sun Xiangyu Guo Hongliang Huang Chongli Zhong 2021Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,1:1

15Application of Pelvic Peritoneum Closure Combined with Extraperitoneal Colostomy in Laparoscopic Surgery for Low Rectal Cancer显示文摘Background:In the treatment of colorectal cancer,laparoscopic surgery has seen a significant amount of success.Reducing the risk of postoperative complications and improving patients’quality of life can be accomplished by appropriately employing pelvic peritoneal repair and sigmoid colostomy when appropriate.Objective:To compare fusion closure of pelvic peritoneum combined with extraperitoneal colostomy with non-closure of pelvic peritoneum combined with intraperitoneal colostomy in patients with low rectal cancer who had permanent colostomy.Methods:Low rectal cancer patients admitted to Hengshui People’s Hospital for permanent colostomy were evaluated.The participants were divided into two groups:an observation and a control group.All 30 cases in the observation group underwent pelvic peritoneum closure and extraperitoneal colostomy,while the other 30 cases in the control group underwent intraperitoneal colostomy.The C-reactive protein(CRP)levels of the participants in both groups were evaluated for 6 months to 2 years(24 h before,24 h after,48 h after,96 h after surgery).Results:Comparing the colostomy operative time,time to first passage of flatus postoperatively,time to first defecation postoperatively,length of hospital stay,laboratory indicators,stoma-related complications,colostomy function,etc.,the colostomy operative time significantly differed between the two groups(P<0.05);the observation group did considerably better than the control group in terms of stoma-related complications and bowel movement control 6 months after surgery(P<0.05);and although serum CRP levels increased in both groups 48 h after surgery,the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Extraperitoneal colostomy can improve the quality of life of patients with permanent stoma and reduce the occurrence of stoma-related complications.Thus,this technique is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.Hongliang Yao Jipan Liu Caihua Sun Chengjun Wang Yun Li Li Li Bin Zhao Jia Liu 2023Proceedings of Anticancer Research2023,7,3:0
16Synthesis and magnetic properties of Fe_3O_4/helical carbon nanofiber nanocomposites from the catalytic pyrolysis of ferrocene显示文摘High purity Fe3O4 /helical carbon nanofiber composites were obtained on a large scale by the catalytic pyrolysis of ferrocene in the presence of tin powder at 500°C over 12 h. The sizes of Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles are 35–65 nm in size, and the diameters of the helical carbon nanofibers range from 40–70 nm. The shapes and compositions of the nanocomposites are simply controlled by adjusting the reaction temperatures. On the basis of the obtained experimental results the formation of the helical Fe3O4/carbon nanofiber composites was investigated and discussed. 17High-lying excited states in ^10Be from the ^9Be(^9Be,^10Be)^8Be reaction显示文摘A transfer-reaction experiment of ~9Be(~9Be,^(10)Be)~8Be was performed at a beam energy of 45 Me V.Excited states in ^(10)Be up to 18.80 Me V are produced using missing mass and invariant mass methods.Most of the observed high-lying resonant states,reconstructed from theα+~6He and t+~7Li decay channels,agree with the previously reported results.In addition,two new resonances at 15.6 and 18.8 Me V are identified from the present measurement.The 18.55 Me V state is found to decay into both the t + ~7Lig:s: and t + ~7Li?(0.478 MeV) channels, with a relative branching ratio of 0:93 ± 0:33. 18Enhanced monopole transition strength from the cluster decay of ^(13)C显示文摘The inelastic excitations and cluster decay of ^(13)C have been measured using the reaction,9Be(^(13)C, ^(13)C* →~9Be + α)~9Be. We observe strong excitation to the 14.3-MeV(1/2-) resonant state from the cluster-decay channel, leading to an enhanced monopole matrix element of(6.3 ± 0.6) fm^2. This large cluster-related monopole strength is a clear indication of the cluster-structure domination of this state and is consistent with the recent prediction of the orthogonality condition model(OCM). 19A mixed culture of Propionibacterium freudenreichii and Lactiplantibacillus plantarum as antifungal biopreservatives in bakery product显示文摘In this study,15 strains of Lactic acid bacteria(Allata et al.)and 6 strains of propionic acid bacteria(PAB)were firstly tested for their antifungal activity against three spoilage fungi,Aspergillus niger,Penicillium crustosum and Aspergillus flavus.Two strains of LAB and PAB were selected and assessed,alone or paired,for their abilities to inhibit the most resistant mold,Aspergillus niger.A mixed culture of P.freudenreichii D6 and L.plantarum L9 was found to be the most active and their optimal inoculum was 1×10^(8) and 1×10^(6) CFU/mL,respectively.Furthermore,the in situ antifungal effect of the mixed culture was evaluated against bakery product spoilage fungi.It was found that the growth of airborne fungi was delayed for up to 7 days.The cell number of L.plantarum L9 was slightly increased by the presence of P.freudenreichii D6.Quantification of three main acids(propionic,lactic and acetic acid)produced by the protective cultures suggested that acetic acid was mainly responsible for the antifungal activity.In conclusion,the mixed culture of P.freudenreichii and L.plantarum may be exploited as biopreservatives in bakery products.Qiong Ran Fan Yang Min Geng Lujie Qin Zhongyi Chang Hongliang Gao Deming Jiang Chunjing Zou Caifeng Jia 2022Food Bioscience2022,47,3:0
20Steering structural mesoporosity and working microenvironment of Fe-N-C catalysts for boosting cathodic mass transport of zinc-air batteries显示文摘Transition metal-N-C materials have considerably been demonstrated as promising catalysts for cathodic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in Zn-air batteries.Current efforts mainly focus on tailoring coordination structure and identifying active sites of metal-N-C materials for ORR,while the mass transport of metal-N-C employed in catalytic layers of working electrodes is seldom engineered.Herein,a Fe-N-C single-atom catalyst featuring high mesoporosity and abundant electrochemically accessible active sites is developed through post-loading Fe species into defective N-doped carbon support.The Fe-N-C single-atom catalyst serving as the air cathode of Zn-air battery delivers a peak power density of 189.9 mW cm^(−2),significantly larger than 114.2 mW cm^(−2) of commercial Pt/C and 162.9 mW cm^(−2) of the Fe-N-C contrast catalyst with low mesoporosity.More importantly,through adding hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE)nanoparticles in the catalytic layer of air cathode,the peak power density of Fe-N-C single-atom catalyst is further increased to 212.3 mW cm^(−2).The increased peak power density is attributed to the enhancement of O_(2) mass transport,as evidenced by a substantially decreased diffusion layer thickness that is obtained from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.Hang Shen Yanyan Jia Yanbin Qi Sheng Dai Hongliang Jiang Yihua Zhu Chunzhong Li 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,8:0
