3On-board measurement of particle numbers and their size distribution from a light-duty diesel vehicle:Influences of VSP and altitude显示文摘In this study,the particle size-resolved distribution from a China-3 certificated light-duty diesel vehicle was measured by using a portable emission measurement system(PEMS).In order to examine the influences of vehicle specific power(VSP) and high-altitude operation,measurements were conducted at 8 constant speeds,which ranged from 10 to 80 km/hr at10 km/hr intervals,and two different high altitudes,namely 2200 and 3200 m.The results demonstrated that the numbers of particles in all size ranges decreased significantly as VSP increased when the test vehicle was running at lower speeds(< 20 km/hr),while at a moderate speed(between 30 and 60 km/hr),the particle number was statistically insensitive to increase VSP.Under high-speed cruising conditions,the numbers of ultrafine particles and PM2.5were insensitive to changes in VSP,but the numbers of nanoparticles and PM10 surged considerably.An increase in the operational altitude of the test vehicle resulted in increased particle number emissions at low and high driving speeds;however,particle numbers obtained at moderate speeds decreased as altitude rose.When the test vehicle was running at moderate speeds,particle numbers measured at the two altitudes were very close,except for comparatively higher number concentrations of nanoparticles measured at 2200 m.Jia Liu Yunshan Ge Xin Wang Lijun Hao Jianwei Tan Zihang Peng Chuanzhen Zhang Huiming Gong Ying Huang 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7:12
4Water regime-nitrogen fertilizer incorporation interaction:Field study on methane and nitrous oxide emissions from a rice agroecosystem in Harbin, China显示文摘Water regime and nitrogen(N) fertilizer are two important factors impacting greenhouse gases(GHG) emission from paddy field, whereas their effects have not been well studied in cold region. In this study, we conducted a two-year field experiment to study the impacts of water regime and N fertilizer on rice yields and GHG emissions in Harbin, China, a cold region located in high latitudes. Our results showed that intermittent irrigation significantly decreased methane(CH_4) emission compared with continuous flooding, however,the decrement was far lower than the global average level. The N_2O emissions were very small when flooded but peaked at the beginning of the disappearance of floodwater. The N fertilizer treatments increased CH_4 emissions at low level(75 kg N/ha). But both CH_4 and N_2O emissions were uninfluenced at the levels of 150 kg N/ha and 225 kg N/ha. Rice yields increased under intermittent irrigation and were highest at the level of 150 kg N/ha. 5A New Arg54Gly Transthyretin Gene Mutation Associated with Vitreous Amyloidosis in Chinese显示文摘Purpose:To analyse the hereditary features of a Chinese pedigree with familial vitreous amyloidosis in Liaoning Province,China,and to investigate the correlation between the clinical appearance of the disease and transthyretin(TTR)gene mutation,including the locus and type of TTR gene mutation.Methods:Five patients (10 eyes) from one Chinese family were diagnosed with vitreous amyloidosis between July 1996 and April 2009.Family members were followed up subsequently,and peripheral venous blood was obtained from 13 subjects (including 2 patients,and 11 controls without clinical signs of disease).DNA samples were extracted and 4 exons of the TTR gene were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR).The gene fragments were subjected to sequencing analysis.The results were analyzed with DNAMAN Windows 5.2.2.0 and Chromas sequence chart analysis software,TTR gene exons were compared between affected patients and normal controls.Results:Family pedigree analysis revealed that patients were distributed in three generations.Male and female subjects had equal prevalence,and only one parent of affected patients had signs of disease.TTR gene exon sequencing showed that the sequence of patients was identical to that of normal individuals.No TTR gene mutations were noted in 10 unaffected family members.However,a TTR Gly-54 point mutation in the 2nd exon was detected in two patients and 1 unaffected family member (one of the patients' daughters).Vitreous samples in 4 cases (7 eyes) showed positive Congo red staining,suggesting that these family members suffered from familial vitreous amyloidosis.Conclusion:This pedigree affected with familial vitreous amyloidosis was characterized by autosomal dominant inheritance;.a TTR Gly-54 point mutation in the 2nd exon is presumed to be the cause.This Gly-54 point mutation of the TTR gene is a novel mutation in vitreous amyloidosis.Yining Shi Jing Li Jia Hu Jun Hu Lijun Sun Huijin Li Rui Shi Le Yang Ye Sun Chan Li 2011Eye Science2011,26,4:9

9VO2·0.2H2O nanocuboids anchored onto graphene sheets as the cathode material for ultrahigh capacity aqueous zinc ion batteries显示文摘Aqueous Zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs),using zinc negative electrode and aqueous electrolyte,have attracted great attention in energy storage field due to the reliable safety and low-cost.A composite material comprised of VO2·0.2H2O nanocuboids anchored on graphene sheets(VOG)is synthesized through a facile and efficient microwave-assisted solvothermal strategy and is used as aqueous ZIBs cathode material.Owing to the synergistic effects between the high conductivity of graphene sheets and the desirable structural features of VO2·0.2H2O nanocuboids,the VOG electrode has excellent electronic and ionic transport ability,resulting in superior Zn ions storage performance.The Zn/VOG system delivers ultrahigh specific capacity of 423 mAh·g^−1 at 0.25 A·g^−1 and exhibits good cycling stability of up to 1,000 cycles at 8 A·g^−1 with 87%capacity retention.Systematical structural and elemental characterizations confirm that the interlayer space of VO2·0.2H2O nanocuboids can adapt to the reversible Zn ions insertion/extraction.The as-prepared VOG composite is a promising cathode material with remarkable electrochemical performance for low-cost and safe aqueous rechargeable ZIBs.Dedong Jia Kun Zheng Ming Song Hua Tan Aitang Zhang Lihua Wang Lijun Yue Da Li Chenwei Li Jingquan Liu 2020Nano Research2020,13,1:6
10Emission characteristics of surface second-order metal grating distributed feedback semiconductor lasers显示文摘To obtain high-power semiconductor lasers with stable operation in a single longitudinal mode and improve the characteristics of the output beam,an end-emitting surface second-order metal grating distributed feedback(DFB) laser emitting at around 940 nm is fabricated.The characteristics of the uncoated devices with and without gratings are tested under room temperature continuous-wave conditions without any temperature-control device and compared.The devices with gratings achieve high powers of up to 385 mW/facet and a small lateral far-field angle of 2.7° at 1.5 A,have only 4.13 nm/A wavelength-shift,and 0.09 nm spectral linewidth at 600 mA,and operate in a stable longitudinal mode.Devices without gratings operate in multimode,with a larger lateral far-field angle(7.3°) and spectral linewidth(1.3 nm),although with higher output powers.Because of the integration of second-order metal gratings and their very high coupling capability,the output beam quality is improved greatly,the lasing wavelength is stable and varies slowly with changes in injection current,while the spectrum is narrowed dramatically,and the far-field angles are greatly reduced.This opens the way for the realization of watt-scale power broad-stripe(>100 μm) surface second-order metal grating end and surface-emitting DFB lasers and arrays with single frequency,single mode operation and high output beam quality.SHI JunXiu QIN Li LIU Yun ZHANG Nan ZHANG Jian ZHANG LiSen JIA Peng NING YongQiang ZENG YuGang ZHANG JinLong WANG LiJun 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17:5
11Proteome analysis of hepatic non-parenchymal cells of immune liver fibrosis rats显示文摘Elucidation of the mechanisms of liver fibrogenesis is important to treat liver fibrosis.In this study,we established rat models of liver fibrosis with stages from 0–1,2,and 3–4 to 4 at 2,4,6,and 8 weeks,respectively,by injection of pig serum.Liver fibrogenesis was detected by Masson’s trichrome staining.Rat non-parenchymal cells(NPCs)were enriched 4-fold by Percoll density gradient centrifugation.Protein extracts from NPCs were prepared at 4 and 8 weeks,separated by two-dimensional electrophoresis,and then stained with Coomassie Blue G-250.At 4 weeks,we identified 18 non-redundant differentially expressed proteins of which protein disulfide-isomerase associated protein 3(PDIA3)and NDUV showed consistent expression at protein and mRNA levels from 4 to 8 weeks.PDIA3 was found to be down-regulated by Western blotting in the rat model and immunohistochemically in human liver.Our results revealed important aspects of the pathogenesis/progression of liver fibrosis and demonstrated important changes in protein expression levels of NPCs at various stages of liver fibrosis.ZHAO QianQian FENG YanLing JIA XiaoFang YIN Lin ZHENG Ye OUYANG DongSheng ZHOU HongHao ZHANG LiJun 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,3:5

14Application of waste frying oils in the biosynthesis of biodemulsifier by a demulsifying strain Alcaligenes sp.S-XJ-1显示文摘Exploration of biodemulsifiers has become a new research aspect.Using waste frying oils(WFOs) as carbon source to synthesize biodemulsifiers has a potential prospect to decrease production cost and to improve the application of biodemulsifiers in the oilfield.In this study,a demulsifying strain,Alcaligenes sp.S-XJ-1,was investigated to synthesize a biodemulsifier using waste frying oils as carbon source.It was found that the increase of initial pH of culture medium could increase the biodemulsifier yield but decrease the demulsification ratio compared to that using paraffin as carbon source.In addition,a biodemulsifier produced by waste frying oils and paraffin as mixed carbon source had a lower demulsification capability compared with that produced by paraffin or waste frying oil as sole carbon source.Fed-batch fermentation of biodemulsifier using waste frying oils as supplementary carbon source was found to be a suitable method.Mechanism of waste frying oils utilization was studied by using tripalmitin,olein and tristearin as sole carbon sources to synthesize biodemulsifier.The results showed saturated long-chain fatty acid was diffcult for S-XJ-1 to utilize but could effectively enhance the demulsification ability of the produced biodemulsifier.Moreover,FT-IR result showed that the demulsification capability of biodemulsifiers was associated with the content of C=O group and nitrogen element.Jia Liu Kaiming Peng Xiangfeng Huang Lijun Lu Hang Cheng Dianhai Yang Qi Zhou Huiping Deng 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,6:4

16Synchronous breast cancer and breast lymphoma:two case reports and literature review显示文摘Synchronous breast cancer and breast lymphoma are rare. It is of high rate of misdiagnosis in clinical practice. Here we present two cases with this presentation. They are both middle-aged women, with stage I invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast. One patient happened to have primary breast lymphoma(PBL); the other was secondary breast lymphoma(SBL). Their pathology and immunohistochemistry(IHC) findings supported the diagnosis of multiple primary carcinoma. Both patients had a surgery. 18CsPb(I_(x)Br_(1-x))_(3) solar cells显示文摘Owing to its nice performance, low cost, and simple solution-processing, organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite solar cell(PSC) becomes a promising candidate for next-generation high-efficiency solar cells.The power conversion efficiency(PCE) has boosted from 3.8% to 25.2% over the past ten years. Despite the rapid progress in PCE, the device stability is a key issue that impedes the commercialization of PSCs. Recently, all-inorganic cesium lead halide perovskites have attracted much attention due to their better stability compared with their organic-inorganic counterpart. In this progress report, we summarize the properties of CsPb(IxBr1-x)3 and their applications in solar cells. The current challenges and corresponding solutions are discussed. 20Soil microbial community assemblage and its seasonal variability in alpine treeline ecotone on the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘The alpine treeline ecotone is characterized as the upper limit of the forest in the high-mountain ecosystem.Due to the freeze-thaw cycles,the soil organism community,such as microbial communities are expected to change between seasons.However,there are limited microbialcommunity studies focused on the high altitude alpine ecosystem.We conducted a study in the alpine treeline ecotone on the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China,and investigated the seasonal variability of the soil microbial community.We collected all soil samples within the alpine treeline ecotone,between the treeline and timberline in the high-mountain region.The 16S rRNA genes of the microbial communities(bacterial and archaeal)were analyzed by highthroughput sequencing to the genus level.The results showed that soil microbial community in the alpine treeline ecotone was consistently dominated by eight phyla which consisted of 95% of the total microbial community,including Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Acidobacteria,Firmicutes,Planctomycetes,Chloroflexi,Bacteroidetes,and Verrucomicrobia.The overall diversity and evenness of the community were relatively stable,with an average of 0.5% difference between seasons.The highest seasonal variability occurred at the upper boundary of the alpine treeline ecotone,and few or almost no seasonal change was observed at lower elevations,indicating dense forest cover and litter deposition might have created a local microclimate that reduced seasonal variation among the surrounding environmental conditions.Our study was one of the first group that documented the microbial community assemblage in the treeline ecotone on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Li Kui Hui Sun Qian Lei Wei Gao Lijun Bao Yuexi Chen Zhongjun Jia 2019Soil Ecology Letters2019,1,1:2
