| 1 | 4-Hydroxybenzyl-substituted amino acid derivatives from Gastrodia elata显示文摘Seven new 4-hydroxybenzyl-substituted amino acid derivatives(1-7), together with 11 known compounds, were isolated from an aqueous extract of the rhizomes of Gastrodia elata Blume.Their structures were determined by spectroscopic and chemical methods. Compounds 1-3 are pyroglutamate derivatives containing 4-hydroxybenzyl units at the N atom and 4-7 are the first examples of natural products with the 4-hydroxybenzyl unit linked via a thioether bond to 2-hydroxy-3-mercaptopropanoic acid(4-6) and 2-hydroxy-4-mercaptobutanoic acid(7), which would be biogenetically derived from cysteine and homocysteine, respectively. The structures of 1 and 2 were verified by synthesis, while the absolute configurations of 4, 5 and 7 were assigned using Mosher's method based on the MPA determination rule of ΔδRS values. | 4 | Sulfur-enriched alkaloids from the root of Isatis indigotica显示文摘Five new sulfur-enriched alkaloids isatithioetherins A–E(1–5), and two pairs of scalemic enantiomers(t)-and( à)-isatithiopyrin B(6 a and 6 b) and isoepigoitrin and isogoitrin(7 a and 7 b), along with the known scalemic enantiomers epigoitrin and goitrin(8 a and 8 b), were isolated and characterized from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots. Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic data analysis, including 2 D NMR and theoretical calculations of electronic circular dichroism(ECD) spectra based on the quantum-mechanical time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT). Compounds 1–5 represent a novel group of sulfur-enriched alkaloids, biogenetically originating from stereoselective assemblies of epigoitrin-derived units. Isolation and structure characterization of 6 a and 6 b support the postulated biosynthetic pathways for the diastereomers 9 a and 9 b via a rare thio-Diels–Alder reaction. | 5 | Isatindolignanoside A, a glucosidic indole-lignan conjugate from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots显示文摘A glucosidic indole-lignan conjugate with a novel carbon skeleton, named isatindolignanoside A(1), was isolated from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots 'ban lan gen'. Its structure was elucidated by comprehensive analysis of spectroscopic data, including J-and NOESY correlation-based configurational analysis, circular dichroism(CD) data, enzyme hydrolysis, and theoretical ECD calculation. | 6 | Towards a universal organogelator:A general mixing approach to fabricate various organic compounds into organogels显示文摘Low-molecular-weight organogels(LMOG) have been attracting a surge interest in fabricating soft materials.Although the finding of the gelator molecules has been developed from serendipity to objective design,the achievement of the gelator molecules still needs good design and tedious organic synthesis.In this paper,we proposed a simple and general mixing approach to get the organogel for nearly all the organic compounds and even soluble nanoparticles without any modification.We have designed a universal gelator molecule,which forms organogels with more than 40 kinds of organic solvents from aploar to polar solvents.More interestingly,when other organic compounds or even nanomaterials,which are soluble in certain organic solvents,are mixed with this gelator molecule,they can form organogels no matter whether the individual compounds could form organogel or not.This method is applicable to nearly all kinds of soluble organic compounds and opens an efficient and universal way to fabricate gel materials. | DUAN PengFei LI YuanGang JIANG Jian WANG TianYu LIU MingHua | 2011 | Science China Chemistry2011,54,7: | 5 |
| 7 | An improved surface-plasmonic nanobeam cavity for higher Q and smaller V显示文摘We demonstrate a high-Q hybrid surface-plasmon-polariton-photonic crystal(SP3C) nanobeam cavity.The proposed cavities are analyzed numerically using the three-dimensional finite difference time domain(3D-FDTD) method.The results show that a Q-factor of 2076 and a modal volume V of 0.16(/2n) 3 can be achieved in a 50 nm silica-gap hybrid SP3C nanobeam cavity when it operates at telecommunications wavelengths and at room temperature.V can be further reduced to 0.02(/2n) 3 when the silica thickness decreases to 10 nm,which leads to a Q/V ratio that is 11 times that of the corresponding plasmonic-photonic nanobeam cavity(without silica).The ultrahigh Q/V ratio originates from the low-loss nature and deep sub-wavelength confinement of the hybrid plasmonic waveguide,as well as the mode gap effect used to reduce the radiation loss.The proposed structure is fully compatible with semiconductor fabrication techniques and could lead to a wide range of applications. | YU Ping QI Biao XU Chao HU Ting JIANG XiaoQing WANG MingHua YANG JianYi | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,25: | 4 |
