| 2 | Cold Stress-induced Glucosyltransferase CsUGT78A15 is Involved in the Formation of Eugenol Glucoside in Camellia sinensis显示文摘Eugenol is a natural phenolic compound known for its health-promoting properties and its ability to add a floral scent to tea plants.Plant eugenol glycosides have been identified and shown to make important contributions to fruit floral quality.However,the details of their biosynthesis and metabolism in tea plants are still unknown.Here,eugenol glucoside was unambiguously identified as a native metabolite in the tea plant,and its biosynthesis was shown to be induced by low temperature treatment.Through the analysis of UGTs induced by low temperature,the glycosyltransferase CsUGT78A15 was identified in tea,and its encoded protein was shown to catalyze the glucosylation of eugenol.Vmax/Km ratios showed that eugenol was the most suitable substrate for CsUGT78A15.Sugar donor preference analysis showed that CsUGT78A15 had a higher selectivity for glucose,followed by galactose and glucuronic acid.The expression of CsUGT78A15was correlatedwith the accumulation of eugenol glucoside in different tissues and genotypes of tea.Down-regulation of CsUGT78A15 led to a decreased eugenol glucoside content under cold stress,indicating that CsUGT78A15 plays an important role in the biosynthesis of eugenol glucoside under cold stress.The identification of eugenol glucoside in the tea plant and the discovery of a cold stress-induced eugenol glucosyltransferase in tea provide the foundation for the improvement of tea flavor under cold stress and the biotechnological production of eugenol glucoside. | Mingyue Zhao Binbin Cai Jieyang Jin Na Zhang Tingting Jing Jingming Wang Yuting Pan Zixiang Zhou Yifan Zhao Yingying Feng Feng Yu Mengting Zhang Yating Li Zhonghua Liu Chuankui Song | 2020 | Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,6: | 4 |

| 4 | 中国家族性胃癌的研究(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of the study was to investigate the influence of gastric cancer family history in the gastric cancer (GC) patients. Methods: Gastric cancer family histories within second degree relatives and clinicopathological features were obtained for 497 patients. Results:Of the 497 probands,235 probands were incorporated into familial gastric cancer (FGC) group (there were at least two GC members in the family); 262 probands were included in the non-FGC group (relatives only affected with non-GCs). Of 614 tumors in relatives,GC was the most frequent,followed by lung cancer,esophageal cancer,hepatocellular cancer,colorectal cancer,urogenital cancer,breast cancer,and pancreatic cancer. Most affected members aggregated within first-degree relatives. The ratio of males to females in affected first-degree relatives was usually higher in male probands. Paternal history of GC was a strong risk for GC in males,while risk of GC by maternal history of GCs was increased in females. Difference in tumor histological types between the two groups was derived from an excess of diffuse GC in non-FGC male probands. The lower site was the most frequent tumor location in all subgroups. Conclusion:Distribution of associated non-GCs in a family history of GC may vary with geographic areas. Generally speaking, forum topics are evolving over time dynamically. In this paper, based on time series analysis and matrix modularity analysis, a novel prediction method is proposed through investigating the correlating influence of three key measurements: relationship strength, pillars, and change frequency of a forum topic. The method demonstrates that there exist some macroscopic and potential laws for forum situation prediction. | 11 | Effect of deep oxidation of chalcopyrite on surface properties and flotation performance显示文摘In this study, chalcopyrite was oxidized in hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)) solutions of different concentrations to simulate different degrees of oxidation in real ores, and the effects of H_(2)O_(2) treatment on chalcopyrite surface properties and flotation performance were investigated by surface analysis techniques and floatation experiments, which implied the reason for the poor grade and recovery of oxidized chalcopyrite concentrate in the production process of the ore. Flotation results showed that when the concentration of H_(2)O_(2) increased from 0%(by weight) to 5%, the flotation recovery of chalcopyrite decreased sharply.However, with increasing H_(2)O_(2) concentration from 5% to 30%, chalcopyrite recovery improved relatively to different degrees with different collector concentrations. Analyses of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and inductively coupled plasma-atomic optical emission spectrophotometry(ICP-OES) results indicated that the pretreatment with H_(2)O_(2) caused that hydrophilic substance formed on chalcopyrite surface with the dissolution of copper ions, and the dissolution amount of copper increased with the increase of H_(2)O_(2) concentration. UV–visible spectrophotometer and Fourier transform infrared spectrum(FTIR) studies indicated that the pretreatment of chalcopyrite with H_(2)O_(2) had little effect on the adsorption amount of potassium butyl xanthate(PBX) on chalcopyrite surface. | 13 | The studies of PLGA nanoparticles loading atorvastatin calcium for oral administration in vitro and in vivo显示文摘A biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) loading atorvastatin calcium(AC) nanoparticles(AC-PLGA-NPs) were prepared by probe ultrasonication and evaporation method aiming at improving the oral bioavailability of AC. The effects of experimental parameters, including stabilizer species, stabilizer concentration and pH of aqueous phase, on particle size were also evaluated. The resultant nanoparticles were in spherical shape with an average diameter of 174.7 nm and a narrow particle size distribution. And the drug loading and encapsulation efficiency were about 8% and 71%, respectively. The particle size and polydispersion were almost unchanged in 10 days. The release curves of AC-PLGA-NPs in vitro displaying sustained release characteristics indicated that its release mechanisms were matrix erosion and diffusion. The pharmacokinetic study in vivo revealed that the Cmax and AUC0-∞ of AC-PLGA-NPs in rats were nearly 3.7-fold and 4.7-fold higher than that of pure atorvastatin calcium suspension. The investigation was conducted in the form of a computer-assisted telephone survey with a sample size of 4,025 samples, covering 332 prefecture-level administrative units and four municipalities in China.Urban-rural proportion and sex proportion were specially taken into account, so as to demonstrate the Chinese public awareness objectively. The investigation measures the public awareness from six aspects, which includes climate change beliefs, impacts, response, policies, actions, and the assessment of the effectiveness of climate communication. | 20 | Characterization,expression dynamics,and potential function of OPA1 for regulation of mitochondrial morphology during spermiogenesis in Phascolosoma esculenta显示文摘Mitochondria undergo morphological changes during spermatogenesis in some animals.The mechanism and role of mitochondrial morphology regulation,however,remain somewhat unclear.In this study,we analyzed the molecular characteristics,expression dynamics and subcellular localization of optic atrophy protein 1(OPA1),a mitochondrial fusion and cristae maintenance-related protein,to reveal the possible regulatory mechanisms underlying mitochondrial morphology in Phascolosoma esculenta spermiogenesis.The full-length cDNA of the P.esculenta opa1 gene(Pe-opa1)is 3743 bp in length and encodes 975 amino acids.The Pe-OPA1 protein is highly conservative and includes a transmembrane domain,a GTPase domain,two helical bundle domains,and a lipid-interacting stalk.Gene and protein expression was higher in the coelomic fluid(a site of spermatid development)of male P.esculenta and increased first and then decreased from March to December.Moreover,their expression during the breeding stage was significantly higher than during the non-breeding stage,suggesting that Pe-OPA1 is involved in P.esculenta reproduction.The Pe-OPA1 protein was more abundant in components consisting of many spermatids than in components without,indicating that Pe-OPA1 mainly plays a role in the spermatid in coelomic fluid.Moreover,Pe-OPA1 was mainly detected in the spermatid mitochondria.Immunofluorescence experiments showed that the Pe-OPA1 are constitutively expressed and co-localized with mitochondria during spermiogenesis,suggesting its involvement in P.esculenta spermiogenesis.These results provide evidence for Pe-OPA1's involvement in the regulation of mitochondrial morphology during spermiogenesis. | Xinming GAO Binbin FENG Chen DU Congcong HOU Shan JIN Daojun TANG Junquan ZHU | 2024 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2024,42,1: | 0 |
