1Zircon SHRIMP U-Pb geochronology of the Neoproterozoic Chengjiang Formation in central Yunnan Province(SW China) and its geological significance显示文摘The Chengjiang Formation is the earliest continental clastic deposit after the Jinning Orogeny in central Yunnan Province,and therefore its accurate depositional age is significant for understanding the formation and evolution of the Neoproterozoic rift basins in southern China.However,hampered by accuracy of the dating technique,the existing age data for the Chengjiang Formation are not very reliable.A large number of magmatic zircons were obtained from the tuff interbed in the lower part of the Chengjiang Formation in Jinyang area and the bottom part of the Chengjiang Formation in Dongchuan area,central Yunnan Province,and high-precision SHRIMP U-Pb dating was carried out on these zircons.The results show that the weighted mean 206 Pb/238 U ages are 797.8±8.2 and 803.1±8.7 Ma respectively.In combination with related geological evidence,it has been demonstrated that the bottom boundary age of the Chengjiang Formation should be 800±5 Ma,whereas the top boundary age could be ca 725 Ma.By synthetically analyzing the latest age data for the relevant strata,it has been confirmed that the Chengjiang Formation should be correlated with the Suxiong Formation and the Kaijianqiao Formation in western Sichuan Province,the Liantuo Formation in the middle and lower Yangtze,the Hongchicun Formation and the Shangshu Formation in northern Zhejiang Province,the Puling Formation in southern Anhui Province,the Luokedong Formation and the Majianqiao Formation in northwestern Jiangxi Province,the Wuqiangxi Formation in northwestern Hunan Province,the Fanzhao Formation and the Qingshuijiang Formation in southeastern Guizhou Province,and the Sanmenjie Formation and the Gongdong Formation in northern Guangxi Province.Sedimentary cycle analysis shows that the sedimentary filling sequence of the Neoproterozoic rift basins in southern China can be divided into four cycles.Among them,Cycle II began at ca.800 Ma,accompanied by intensive tectonic-thermal events.The zircon U-Pb ages from the bottom of the Chengjiang Formation reported in this paper indicate that the Neoproterozoic Kangdian rift subbasin probably started to develop at ca.800 Ma and therefore missed Cycle I of the Neoproterozoic sedimentary filling sequence in southern China.JIANG XinSheng WANG Jian CUI XiaoZhuang ZHUO JieWen XIONG GuoQing LU JunZe LIU JianHui 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,11:25

3The rice OsV4 encoding a novel pentatricopeptide repeat protein is required for chloroplast development during the early leaf stage under cold stress显示文摘Pentatricopeptide repeat(PPR)proteins,characterized by tandem arrays of a 35 amino acid motif,have been suggested to play central and broad roles in modulating the expression of organelle genes in plants.However,the molecular mechanisms of most rice PPR genes remains unclear.In this paper,we isolated and characterized a temperature-conditional virescent mutant,OsV4,in rice(Oryza sativa cultivar Jiahua1(WT,japonica rice variety)).The mutant displays albino phenotype and abnormal chloroplasts at the three leaf stage,which gradually turns green after the four leaf stage at a low temperature(20°C).But the mutant always develops green leaves and well-developed chloroplasts at a high temperature(32°C).Genetic and molecular analyses uncovered that OsV4 encodes a novel chloroplast-targeted PPR protein including four PPR motifs.Further investigations show that the mutant phenotype is associated with changes in chlorophyll content and chloroplast development.The OsV4transcripts only accumulate to high levels in young leaves,indicating that its expression is tissue-specific.In addition,transcript levels of some ribosomal components and plastid-encoded polymerase-dependent genes are dramatically reduced in the albino mutants grown at 20°C.These findings suggest that OsV4 plays an important role during early chloroplast development under cold stress in rice.Xiaodi Gong Qianqian Su Dongzhi Lin Quan Jiang Jianlong Xu Jianhui Zhang Sheng Teng Yanjun Dong 2014Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2014,56,4:19
4恶性肿瘤骨转移及骨相关疾病临床诊疗中国专家共识(英文)显示文摘Since 1980s, palliative medicine has been an independent educational project. The development of palliative care in China started in the early 1990s. During the last 18 years, we have seen an increasing allocation of resources to palliative care, the establishment of an academic chair in palliative medicine, and more focused interest and awareness of the need for palliative care in the society at large. So the doctors in China have established principles of treatment on clinical diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumor bone metastases and bone related complications. In order to share our experience with the world, after two years’ preparation, the top-level experts in palliative medicine have written the consensus statement on clinical diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumor bone metastases and bone related complications. The overview includes not only the achievements in the world, but the hands-on experience in clinic, especially the experience in combination of TCM and Western medicine. 5Opening time and filling pattern of the Neoproterozoic Kangdian Rift Basin,western Yangtze Continent,South China显示文摘The Neoproterozoic Kangdian Rift Basin is a continental rift basin in the western Yangtze Continent.Determining its time of opening and subsequent filling pattern is an important aspect of understanding the formation and evolution of the Yangtze Continent,South China.The Luliang Formation is the early filling in the eastern part of this rift basin,and its deposition age and filling sequence are significant for studies of the regional stratigraphic correlation,opening time,and filling pattern of this basin.Having been correlated to the upper part of the Mesoproterozoic Kunyang Group or to the Neoproterozoic Chengjiang Formation,the age and regional stratigraphic correlation of the Luliang Formation have long been uncertain.This is due to a lack of reliable absolute age constraints.To address this issue,the first zircon SHRIMP U-Pb geochronology has been established for this formation,yielding two high-precision isotopic ages of 818.6±9.2 and 805±14 Ma for the tuff layers at the bottoms of the lower and upper members of the Luliang Formation,respectively.Given the error factor,the bottom age of the lower member of the Luliang Formation can be interpreted as ca.820 Ma,corresponding to the bottom age of the lower part of the Banxi Group,which is the early filling of the Neoproterozoic Xianggui Rift Basin,a representative basin of the Neoproterozoic rift basins in the Yangtze Continent,South China.The bottom age of the upper member of the Luliang Formation can be interpreted as ca.800±5 Ma,corresponding to the bottom age of the Chengjiang Formation in the western part of the Neoproterozoic Kangdian Rift Basin and also corresponding to the bottom age of the upper part of the Banxi Group in the Neoproterozoic Xianggui Rift Basin.These ages indicate that the Neoproterozoic Kangdian Rift Basin shares the same opening time and filling sequences as those of the other Neoproterozoic rift basins in South China.Basin analysis shows that the Neoproterozoic Kangdian Rift Basin is a typical half-graben basin,with its main boundary fault in the west and basin center in the east.This basin consisted of mini unidirectional half-graben basins in its juvenile stage and simplified to become a large united half-graben basin in its mature stage,i.e.,a supradetachment basin.ZHUO JieWen JIANG XinSheng WANG Jian CUI XiaoZhuang XIONG GuoQing LU JunZe LIU JianHui MA MingZhu 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,10:12
6Major advances in studies of the physical geography and living environment of China during the past 70 years and future prospects显示文摘The natural environment provides material essentials for human survival and development. The characteristics,processes, regional differentiation and forcing mechanisms of the elements of the natural environment(e.g. geomorphology,climate, hydrology, soil, etc.) are the main objects of research in physical geography. China has a complex natural environment and huge regional differentiation and therefore it provides outstanding reserach opportunities in physical geography. This review summarizes the most important developments and the main contributions of research in the physical geography and human living environment in China during the past 70 years. The major topics addressed are the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the evolution of its cryosphere, the development of fluvial systems, the acidification of the vast arid region of the Asian interior, variations in the monsoon and westerly climate systems on multiple timescales, the development of lakes and wetlands, the watershed system model, soil erosion, past human-environment interactions, biogeography, and physical geographic zonality. After briefly introducing international research developments, we review the history of research in physical geography in China, focusing on the major achievements and major academic debates, and finally we summarize the status of current research and the future prospects. 7Theoretical Calculations and Experimental Verification for the Pumping Effect Caused by the Dynamic Micro-tapered Angle显示文摘The atomizer with micro cone apertures has advantages of ultra-fine atomized droplets, low power consumption and low temperature rise. The current research of this kind of atomizer mainly focuses on the performance and its application while there is less research of the principle of the atomization. Under the analysis of the dispenser and its micro-tapered aperture's deformation, the volume changes during the deformation and vibration of the micro-tapered aperture on the dispenser are calculated by coordinate transformation. Based on the characters of the flow resistance in a cone aperture, it is found that the dynamic cone angle results from periodical changes of the volume of the micro-tapered aperture of the atomizer and this change drives one-way flows. Besides, an experimental atomization platform is established to measure the atomization rates with different resonance frequencies of the cone aperture atomizer. The atomization performances of cone aperture and straight aperture atomizers are also measured. The experimental results show the existence of the pumping effect of the dynamic tapered angle. This effect is usually observed in industries that require low dispersion and micro- and nanoscale grain sizes, such as during production of high-pressure nozzles and inhalation therapy. Strategies to minimize the pumping effect of the dynamic cone angle or improve future designs are important concerns. 9Efficacy of Yiqigubiao pill on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in rats with the disease induced by lipopolysaccharide and cigarette-smoke fumigation显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Yiqigubiao pill(YQGB)on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in rats with the COPD induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and cigarettesmoke fumigation.METHODS:In this study,six groups of rats were set up,including control group,model group,positive control group(aminophylline)and YQGB(high,medium and low doses)groups.Tracheal injection of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and cigarette-smoke fumigation induced COPD in rats.The general condition,incubation period and coughing times,lung function,level of inflammatory factors,leukocyte condition and pathological changes of bronchus and lung tissue were observed in rats of each group.RESULTS:In the COPD rats,the latent period of coughing was shortened and the cough frequency was increased significantly;the pulmonary function was significantly decreased,which was manifested by the increased lung tissue resistance and respiratory system resistance,and the decreasing percentage of forced expiratory volume and forced expiratory volume in the 0.3 s(FEV0.3/FVC);the contents of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)and interleukin-4 in serum were obviously increased,and the NEUT%in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid was significantly increase.YQGB could obviously prolong the latent period of cough,and reduce the cough frequency and the content of TNF-αin serum.YQGB can also significantly reduce respiratory resistance and increase FEV0.3/FVC value.The results of histopathology showed that YQGB significantly reduced the pathological changes of tracheal mucosa and lung caused by COPD.YQGB obviously increased level of AQP1,which was down-regulated in the COPD rats.CONCLUSION:YQGB could significantly improve the pulmonary function,reduce inflammation and alleviate lung and bronchial diseases in the COPD rats.Jiang Lin Li Fengsen Sun Jianhui Huo Hairu Li Xiaoqin Li Hongmei 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6:6
10A Multi-Objective Optimization Method of Initial Virtual Machine Fault-Tolerant Placement for Star Topological Data Centers of Cloud Systems显示文摘Virtualization is the most important technology in the unified resource layer of cloud computing systems.Static placement and dynamic management are two types of Virtual Machine(VM)management methods.VM dynamic management is based on the structure of the initial VM placement,and this initial structure will affect the efficiency of VM dynamic management.When a VM fails,cloud applications deployed on the faulty VM will crash if fault tolerance is not considered.In this study,a model of initial VM fault-tolerant placement for star topological data centers of cloud systems is built on the basis of multiple factors,including the service-level agreement violation rate,resource remaining rate,power consumption rate,failure rate,and fault tolerance cost.Then,a heuristic ant colony algorithm is proposed to solve the model.The service-providing VMs are placed by the ant colony algorithms,and the redundant VMs are placed by the conventional heuristic algorithms.The experimental results obtained from the simulation,real cluster,and fault injection experiments show that the proposed method can achieve better VM fault-tolerant placement solution than that of the traditional first fit or best fit descending method.Wei Zhang Xiao Chen Jianhui Jiang 2021Tsinghua Science and Technology2021,26,1:4
11Homogeneous label-free fluorescent assay of small molecule-protein interactions using protein binding-inhibited transcription nanomachine显示文摘Quantitative analysis of interactions between small molecules and proteins is a central challenge in chemical genetics, molecular diagnostics and drug developments. Here, we developed a RNA transcription nanomachine by assembling T7 RNA polymerase on a small molecule-labeled DNA heteroduplex. The nanomachine, of which the RNA transcription activity can be quantitatively inhibited by protein binding, showed a great potential for small molecule-protein interaction assay. This finding enabled us to develop a novel homogeneous label-free strategy for assays of interactions between small molecules and their protein receptors. Three small molecule compounds and their protein receptors have been used to demonstrate the developed strategy. The results revealed that the protein-small molecule interaction assay strategy shows dynamic responses in the concentration range from 0.5 to 64 nM with a detection limit of 0.2 nM. 12Cisplatin-induced vestibular hair cell lesion-less damage at high doses显示文摘Cisplatin, a widely used anticancer drug, damages hair cells in cochlear organotypic cultures at low doses, but paradoxically causes little damage at high doses resulting in a U-shaped dose-response function. To determine if the cisplatin dose-response function for vestibular hair cells follows a similar pattern, we treated vestibular organotypic cultures with doses of cisplatin ranging from 10 to 1000 μM. Vestibular hair cell lesions progressively increased as the dose of cisplatin increased with maximum damage occurring around 50-100 μM, but the lesions progressively decreased at higher doses resulting in little hair cell loss at 1000 μM. 13Efficient Scheduling Mapping Algorithm for Row Parallel Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Architecture显示文摘Row Parallel Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Architecture(RPCGRA)has the advantages of maximum parallelism and programmable flexibility.Designing an efficient algorithm to map the diverse applications onto RPCGRA is difficult due to a number of RPCGRA hardware constraints.To solve this problem,the nodes of the data flow graph must be partitioned and scheduled onto the RPCGRA.In this paper,we present a Depth-First Greedy Mapping(DFGM)algorithm that simultaneously considers the communication costs and the use times of the Reconfigurable Cell Array(RCA).Compared with level breadth mapping,the performance of DFGM is better.The percentage of maximum improvement in the use times of RCA is 33%and the percentage of maximum improvement in non-original input and output times is 64.4%(Given Discrete Cosine Transfor 8(DCT8),and the area of reconfigurable processing unit is 56).Compared with level-based depth mapping,DFGM also obtains the lowest averages of use times of RCA,non-original input and output times,and the reconfigurable time.Naijin Chen Zhen Wang Ruixiang He Jianhui Jiang Fei Cheng Chenghao Han 2021Tsinghua Science and Technology2021,26,5:4

15Simulation Analysis and Experimental Verification of Spiral-tube-type Valveless Piezoelectric Pump with Gyroscopic Effect显示文摘The current research of the valveless piezoelectric pump focuses on increasing the flow rate and pressure differential. Compared with the valve piezoelectric pump, the valveless one has excellent performances in simple structure, low cost, and easy miniaturization. So, their important development trend is the mitigation of their weakness, and the multi-function integration. The flow in a spiral tube element is sensitive to the element attitude caused by the Coriolis force, and that a valveless piezoelectric pump is designed by applying this phenomenon. The pump has gyroscopic effect, and has both the actuator function of fluid transfer and the sensor function, which can obtain the angular velocity when its attitude changes. First, the present paper analyzes the flow characteristics in the tube, obtains the calculation formula for the pump flow, and identifies the relationship between pump attitude and flow, which clarifies the impact of flow and driving voltage, frequency, spiral line type and element attitude, and verifies the gyroscopic effect of the pump. Then, the finite element simulation is used to verify the theory. Finally, a pump is fabricated for experimental testing of the relationship between pump attitude and pressure differential. Experimental results show that when Archimedes spiral θ=4π is selected for the tube design, and the rotation speed of the plate is 70 r/min, the pressure differential is 88.2 Pa, which is 1.5 times that of 0 r/min rotation speed. 16Coastal environment of the past millennium recorded by a coastal dune in Fujian,China显示文摘Coastal dune is a common aeolian geomorphology in a sandy coast,which records the evolution process of the aeolian landscape system and reflects the complex interaction among land surface,atmosphere and ocean.Coast is a sensitive area to global climate change.Restricted by chronology,most previous researches in China focused only on the cause of formation of coastal dunes.In recent years,the development of optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating provides a good method and acts as a carrier for coastal dunes to paleoclimate and paleoenvironmental studies.In this study,we selected an aeolian dune at the Anshan archaeological site,Fujian,China as the research object based on field observations.For determining their sedimentary stages and the primary influencing factors,we used the OSL dating method to construct a chronological framework for the aeolian dune.In addition,the sizes of grains were analyzed for identifying factors influencing the winter monsoon during the Medieval Warm Period (MWP) and the Little Ice Age (LIA) in this area.The results showed that the deposition of the aeolian dune was closely related to variations in the winter monsoon intensity.The changes of the winter monsoon were similar to the tendency of the East Asian winter monsoon,although there were several sub-fluctuations.From an overall perspective,the winter monsoon was strengthened during the MWP (1050–1300) .The results of a power spectrum analysis showed that the intensity of the East Asian winter monsoon is correlated with sunspot activity.JIN Jianhui LI Zhizhong JIANG Feng deng tao HU Fan'gen LING Zhiyong 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,5:3

19Interference Robust Channel Hopping Strategies for Wireless Sensor Networks显示文摘Due to the shared nature of the wireless medium, the performance of wireless sensor network is often limited by both internal interference and external interference. The internal interference is that simultaneous traffic activity by neighboring nodes in the same network, while the external interference is from wireless transmissions by other types of devices, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth nodes. In this paper, we present two channel hopping algorithms for multichannel, single-radio wireless sensor networks. The first algorithm achieves collision-free transmission environment while do not introduce extra control overhead. The second algorithm, in addition to reducing internal interference effects, reduces the external interference effects from Wi-Fi devices. 20A survey on hearing acuity of centenarians in Hainan Province显示文摘Objective: This study aimed to investigate hearing acuity of centenarians in Hainan Province and provide basis for interventional considerations.Method: Door-to-door follow-up was conducted to investigate hearing acuity of centenarians(aged 100 years or above) in Hainan Province. Physical examination, pure tone audiometry and acoustic impedance test were performed, and the results were analyzed.Result: A total of 460 centenarians(920 ears) were tested by pure tone audiometry. The rate of normal hearing was 0.2%, the rate of mild hearing loss was 1.5%, 12% for moderate hearing loss, 33.9% for moderate to severe hearing loss, 37.4% for severe hearing loss is and 15% for profound hearing loss. Acoustic impedance test was performed in 340 centenarians(668 ears). Tympanogram was type A in 41.2% of the ears, type As in 34.1% ears,type Ad in 6.4%, type B in 11.8%, and type C in 4.9% of the ears, while no response was elicited in 1.5% of the ears.Conclusion: Age related sensorineural hearing loss is prevalent among centenarians in Hainan Province.
