| 2 | A potential red-emitting phosphor Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+):Luminescence properties,thermal stability and applications for white LEDs显示文摘A novel red-emitting phosphor tantalate Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)was synthesized by a solid-state reaction.The purity and surface morphology of the phosphors were characterized.The Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)phosphors show a sharp emission peak at 612 nm under near-ultraviolet(n-UV) at 395 nm because of the ^(5)D0→^(7)F_(2) transition of Eu^(3+).The optimal Eu^(3+)doping concentration in Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) is 40 mol% and the critical energy-transfer distance of Eu^(3+)ions was calculated to be 0.9 nm.The emission spectra of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu_(3+)from 300 to 480 K were investigated.The thermal-quenching temperature(T_(0.5)) of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):Eu^(3+)is above 480 K.The color purity of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)is as high as 99.8%.The luminescence lifetime of Ca_(2)YTaO_(6):40 mol%Eu^(3+)was also discussed.The high color purity and high thermal stability of Eu^(3+)-doped Ca_(2)YTaO_(6) phosphors contribute to its application value in white lightemitting diodes(w-LEDs). | Ka Ding Siru A Shuo Pang Leyan Shan Yaqi Zhang Pengfei Sun Bin Deng Ruijin Yu | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7: | 4 |
| 3 | Active and stable Cu doped NiMgAlO catalysts for upgrading ethanol to n-butanol显示文摘Upgrading ethanol to n-butanol is an attractive way for renewable n-butanol production. Herein, Cu was selected to modify NiMgAlO catalysts for improving ethanol conversion and n-butanol selectivity. Over the optimized 2%Cu-NiMgAlO catalyst, ethanol conversion and n-butanol selectivity were enhanced to 30.0% and 64.2%, respectively, in 200 h time on stream at 523 K. According to physicochemical characterizations and theoretical calculations, the key role of multiple active sites in this reaction was extensively investigated. The plate-like structure of hydrotalcite was maintained over 2%Cu-NiMgAlO catalysts, with an average Ni particle size of ca. 5.4 nm. The presence of Cu species created CuNi alloy sites and Lewis acid-base pairs, and increased hydrogen transfer and condensation reactions, resulting in elevated ethanol conversion and n-butanol selectivity. | 8 | Improved stability of superelasticity and elastocaloric effect in Ti-Ni alloys by suppressing Lüders-like deformation under tensile load显示文摘Functional stability of superelasticity is crucial for practical applications of shape memory alloys.It is degraded by a Lüders-like deformation with elevated local stress concentration under tensile load.By increasing the degree of solute supersaturation and applying appropriate thermomechanical treatments,a Ti-Ni alloy with nanocrystallinity and dispersed nanoprecipitates is obtained.In contrast to conventional Ti-Ni alloys,the superelasticity in the target alloy is accompanied by homogeneous deformation due to the sluggish stress-induced martensitic transformation.The alloy thus shows a fully recoverable strain of 6%under tensile stress over 1 GPa and a large adiabatic temperature decrease of 13.1 K under tensile strain of 4.5%at room temperature.Moreover,both superelasticity and elastocaloric effect exhibit negligible degradation in response to applied strain of 4%during cycling.We attribute the improved functional stability to low dislocation activity resulting from the suppression of localized deformation and the combined strengthening effect of nanocrystalline structure and nanoprecipitates.Thus,the design of such a microstructure enabling homogeneous deformation provides a recipe for stable superelasticity and elastocaloric effect. | Pengfei Dang Jianbo Pang Yumei Zhou Lei Ding Lei Zhang Xiangdong Ding Turab Lookman Jun Sun Dezhen Xue | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,15: | 1 |

| 11 | Development of the magnetic separation device for surface cracks of delinted cottonseed显示文摘In seed processing for commercial production,the collision or friction between mechanical parts and seed is inevitable.These collisions or friction can cause cracks on the surface of the seed,which can affect germination rates and ultimately reduce crop yields.Using the difference of the seed motion trajectories with different crack degrees in the magnetic field,the grading of the surface crack seed can be realized.In this study,the motion law of seed in a non-uniform magnetic field was analyzed by taking the delinted cottonseed as an object.A magnetic separation device for crop seeds was developed.This device was essentially composed of the feed throat,magnetic roller,conveyor belt,and variable-frequency adjustable-speed motor.The magnetic powder adhering seeds enter the magnetic separation device through the feed throat and are conveyed to the magnetic roller through the conveyor belt.The magnetic roller has different adsorption forces on seeds with different degrees of cracking,and seeds fall into different outlets,thus completing the grading of the seeds.By adjusting working parameters such as the magnetic field strength and the speed of the conveyor belt,magnetic separation could be made.In order to verify the grading effect,the magnetic separation accuracy was taken as the inspection index,the magnetic powder’s mesh number,the mass mixing ratio between magnetic powder and delinted cottonseed,and the rotation speed of the magnetic roller were taken as the inspection factors.The response surface methodology was used to optimize the working parameters of the experimental device.The results showed that the optimal process parameters of the magnetic separation device were as follows:the number of magnetic powder meshes was 250,the mass mixing ratio between magnetic powder and delinted cottonseed was 1:20,and when the rotational speed of the magnetic separation roller was 20 r/min,the detection rate reached 92.5%.The designed magnetic separation device can realize the non-destructive batch detection of seed surface cracks with high work efficiency and has guiding significance for the high-precision and low-damage classification detection and classification of commercial seed. | Xinwu Du Guodong Wang Jing Pang Pengfei Li Xin Jin Wenhua Mao | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,6: | 0 |

| 19 | Algorithm to identify circulating tumor cell clusters using in vivo flow cytometer显示文摘Recent studies in oncology have addressed the importance of detecting circulating tumor cell clusters because circulating tumor cell clusters might survive and metastasize more easily than single circulating tumor cells.Signals with larger peak widths detected by in vivo flow cytometer(IVFC)have been used to identify cell clusters in previous studies.However,the accuracy of this criterion might be greatly degraded by variance in blood°ow and the rolling behaviors of circulating tumor cells.Here,we propose a criterion and algorithm to distinguish cell clusters from single cells.In this work,we first used area-based and volume-based models for single°uorescent cells.Simulating each model,we analyzed the corresponding morphology of IVFC signals from cell clusters.According to the Rayleigh criterion,the valley between two adjacent peak signals from two distinguishable cells should be lower than 73.5%of the peak values.A novel signal processing algorithm for IVFC was developed based on this criterion.The results showed that cell clusters can be reliably identied using our proposed algorithm.Intravital imaging was also performed to further support our algorithm.With enhanced accuracy,IVFC is a powerful tool to study circulating cell clusters. | Kai Pang Dan Wei Pengfei Hai Zhangru Yang Xiaofu Weng Xunbin Wei | 2018 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2018,,5: | 0 |
