2New incompatible pair of TCM:Epimedii Folium combined with Psoraleae Fructus induces idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity under immunological stress conditions显示文摘Epimedii Folium(EF)combined with Psoraleae Fructus(PF)is a common modern preparation,but liver injury caused by Chinese patent medicine preparations containing EF and PF has been frequently reported in recent years.Zhuangguguanjiewan pills(ZGW),which contain EF and PF,could induce immune idiosyncratic liver injury according to clinical case reports and a nonhepatotoxic dose of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)model.This present study evaluated the liver injury induced by EF or PF alone or in combination and investigated the related mechanism by using the LPS model.Liver function indexes and pathological results showed that either EF or PF alone or in combination led to liver injury in normal rats;however,EF or PF alone could lead to liver injury in LPS-treated rats.Moreover,EF combined with PF could induce a greater degree of injury than that caused by EF or PF alone in LPS-treated rats.Furthermore,EF or PF alone or in combination enhanced the LPS-stimulated inflammatory cytokine production,implying that IL-1β,which is processed and released by activating the NLRP3 inflammasome,is a specific indicator of EF-induced immune idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity.Thus,EF may induce liver injury through enhancing the LPS-mediated proinflammatory cytokine production and activating the NLRP3 inflammasome.In addition,the metabolomics analysis results showed that PF affected more metabolites in glycerophospholipid and sphingolipid metabolic pathways compared with EF in LPS model,suggesting that PF increased the responsiveness of the liver to LPS or other inflammatory mediators via modulation of multiple metabolic pathways.Therefore,EF and PF combination indicates traditional Chinese medicine incompatibility,considering that it induces idiosyncratic hepatotoxicity under immunological stress conditions.Yuan Gao Zhilei Wang Jinfa Tang Xiaoyi Liu Wei Shi Nan Qin Xiaoyan Wang Yu Pang Ruisheng Li Yaming Zhang Jiabo Wang Ming Niu Zhaofang Bai Xiaohe Xiao 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,1:32

9A multi-step induced strategy to fabricate core-shell Pt-Ni alloy as symmetric electrocatalysts for overall water splitting显示文摘Devising an electrocatalyst with brilliant efficiency and satisfactory durability for hydrogen production is of considerable demand,especially for large-scale application.Herein,we adopt a multi-step consequential induced strategy to construct a bifunctional electrocatalyst for the overall water splitting.Graphene oxide(GO)was used as a carbon matrix and in situ oxygen source,which was supported by the octahedral PtNi alloy to form the PtxNiy-GO precursor.When calcinating in Ar atmosphere,the oxygen in GO induced the surface segregation of Ni from the PtNi octahedron to form a core-shell structure of Ptx@Niy.Then,the surface-enriched Ni continuously induced the reformation of C in reduced graphene oxide(rGO)to enhance the degree of graphitization.This multi-step induction formed a nanocatalyst Pt_(x)@Ni_(y)-rGO which has very high catalytic efficiency and stability.By optimizing the feeding ratio of PtNi(Pt:Ni=1:2),the electrolytic overall water splitting at 10 mA·cm^(-2) can be driven by an electrolytic voltage of as low as 1.485 V,and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)only needs an overpotential of 37 mV in 1.0 M KOH aqueous solution.Additionally,the catalyst exhibited consistent existence form in both HER and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which was verified by switching the anode and cathode of the cell in the electrolysis of water.This work provides a new idea for the synthesis and evaluation of the bifunctional catalysts for water splitting.Wenjuan Xu Jinfa Chang Yinggang Cheng Hongqi Liu Jifan Li Yongjian Ai Zenan Hu Xinyue Zhang Yiming Wang Qionglin Liang Yang Yang Hongbin Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

11Scheduling algorithms for time-constrained big-le transfers in the Internet of Vehicles显示文摘In order to transfer large les and provide high-quality services in the IoV(Internet of Vehicles),intelligent routing and scheduling are indispensable for fast transfers and effcient network utilization,particularly when multi-path routing is allowed in the wired-transfer.Thus,a network administrator must select a set of feasible paths over which the transfer can be conducted.We consider a TBTS(Time-constrained Big-le Transfer Scheduling)problem in this paper.We prove that TBTS problem is NP-hard and that the TBTS problem can be solved by addressing a corresponding maximum ow over time problem with multi-path routing technique.We then propose both a heuristic algorithm(TBTS-H)and an exact algorithm(TBTS-A)to solve the TBTS problem.Although both of the proposed approaches can solve the TBTS problem,the heuristic runs more effciently by trading accuracy for delay,while the exact algorithm can achieve high accuracy for delay,at the cost of increased running-time.The corresponding simulation results illustrate this trade-o.Additionally,we conduct some comparisons between our proposed approaches and a traditional single-path routing scheme.Chuan Lin Yuanguo Bi Hai Zhao Zeshen Wang Jinfa Wang 2017Journal of Communications and Information Networks2017,2,2:1

13The juxtamembrane domains of Arabidopsis CERK1,BAK1,and FLS2 play a conserved role in chitin-induced signaling显示文摘Arabidopsis thallana CERK1 is an essential receptor-like kinase in the chitin signal transduction pathway. The juxtamembrane (JM) domain of CERK1 regulates the kinase activity of this receptor. Here we demonstrate that the JM domains of LysM RLKs, CERK1,and OsCERK1 play a functionally conserved role in the activation of chitin signaling in Arabidopsis. The Ctrmini of the JM domains of both CERK1 and OsCERK1 are indispensable for their function. Moreover, after replacing the JM domain of CERK1 with that of the non-homologous RLK, BAK1 (CJBa) or FL52 (CJFI), the chimeric CERK1 receptors maintained their ability to ac.tivate chitin signaling in Arabidopsis. Interestingly, theheterologous expression of CJBa and CJFI did not induce cell death in Nicotiand benthamiand leaves. 14Atomically dispersed catalysts for small molecule electrooxidation in direct liquid fuel cells显示文摘Direct liquid fuel cells(DLFCs) have received increasing attention because of their high energy densities,instant recharging abilities, simple cell structure, and facile storage and transport. The main challenge for the commercialization of DLFCs is the high loading requirement of platinum group metals(PGMs) as catalysts. Atomically dispersed catalysts(ADCs) have been brought into recent focus for DLFCs due to their well-defined active sites, high selectivity, maximal atom-utilization, and anti-poisoning property. In this review, we summarized the structure–property relationship for unveiling the underlying mechanisms of ADCs for DLFCs. More specifically, different types of fuels used in DLFCs such as methanol, formic acid,and ethanol were discussed. 16A targeted QTL analysis for fiber length using a genetic population between two introgressed backcrossed inbred lines in upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum)显示文摘Cotton fiber is the most important natural raw material for the textile industry, and fiber length(FL) is one of the most important traits in cotton.Quantitative trait locus(QTL)mapping based on high-density genetic maps is an efficient approach to identify genetic regions for FL.In our study, two backcrossed inbred lines(BILs) were chosen as parents to construct a high-density genetic map in F2 which was used to fine map FL QTL in F2:3 population.The genetic map had a total size of 3462.8 cM, containing 9182 singlenucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) based on genotyping-by-sequencing.Two FL related stable QTL were identified on two chromosomes(qFL-A08–1 on A08 and qFL-D03–1 on D03),and qFL-A08–1 was confirmed by a meta-analysis.Utilizing previously obtained RNA-seq data for the two BILs and qRT-PCR analysis, two candidate genes annotated as cytochrome b5(CB5, Gh_A08 G1729) and microtubule end-binding 1 C(EB1C, Gh_D03 G0232) that may regulate FL during the fiber elongation stage were identified.In addition, nine recombination hotspots in this population were found.The results of this study will provide an important foundation for further studies on the molecular and genetic regulation of fiber elongation.Guoyuan Liua Wenfeng Pei Dan Li Jianjiang Ma Yupeng Cui Nuohan Wang Jikun Song Man Wu Libei Li Xinshan Zang Shuxun Yu Jinfa Zhang Jiwen Yu 2019The Crop Journal2019,7,3:0

18Electron-enriched Pt induced by CoSe_(2)promoted bifunctional catalytic ability for low carbon alcohol fuel electro-reforming of hydrogen evolution显示文摘Alcohol fuel electro-reforming is promising for green hydrogen generation while developing efficient bifunctional catalysts for alcohol fuel electrolysis is still very tricky.Herein,we for the first time proposed the electron-enriched Pt induced by CoSe_(2)has an efficient bi-functional catalytic ability for alcohol fuels electro-reforming of hydrogen in acid electrolytes.The theoretical calculation revealed the advantages of electron-enriched Pt surface for the adsorption of intermediate,which is well supported by spectroscopic analysis and CO-stripping techniques.Largely improved catalytic performances of activity,durability,and kinetics are demonstrated compared to the conventional alloy system and commercial Pt/C catalyst,due to the efficient synergism of Pt and CoSe_(2);the peak current density of Pt/CoSe_(2)for methanol(ethanol)oxidation is 87.61(48.27)m A cm^(-2),which is about 3.3(2.0)times higher than that of Pt/C catalyst and 2.0(1.5)times that of the traditional PtCo alloy catalysts.Impressively,about 80%of the initial current was found after 1000 cycles of stability test for alcohol fuel oxidation of Pt/CoSe_(2)catalyst,higher than that of Pt/C(ca.50%)and PtCo catalyst(65%).When Pt/CoSe_(2)catalyst serviced as bi-functional catalysts for electrolyzer,a low cell potential of 0.65(0.78)V for methanol(ethanol)electrolysis was required to reach 10 m A cm^(-2),which was about 1030(900)m V less than that of conventional water electrolysis using Pt/C as the catalyst.The current result is instructive for the design of novel bifunctional catalyst and the understanding of hydrogen generation via alcohol fuel electro-reforming.Yang Zhou Qiaowei Wang Xinlong Tian Jinfa Chang Ligang Feng 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12:0

20A comparative analysis of small RNAs between two Upland cotton backcross inbred lines with different fiber length: Expression and distribution显示文摘The cotton fiber is the most important raw material for the textile industry and an ideal model system for studying cell elongation. However, the genetic variation of fiber elongation in relation to miRNA is poorly understood. A high-throughput comparative RNA-seq of two lines differing in fiber length(FL) from a backcross inbred line(BIL)population of G. hirsutum × G. barbadense revealed differentially expressed(DE) miRNAs and their targets in rapidly elongating fibers. A real-time quantitative PCR analysis was further performed to validate the results. A total of 463(including 47 DE) miRNAs were identified,and seven DE miRNAs were co-localized with seven FL quantitative trait loci(QTL)identified in the G. hirsutum × G. barbadense population. Of 82(including 21 DE) targets identified, nine(including one DE) were also co-localized with the seven FL QTL. The relationship between the allopolyploid and its diploid ancestral species with respect to miRNAs and their targets was also characterized.
