| 4 | Numerical simulation of Gurney flap on SFYT15thick airfoil显示文摘A two-dimensional steady Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes(RANS) equation was solved to investigate the effects of a Gurney flap on SFYT15 thick airfoil aerodynamic performance. This airfoil was designed for flight vehicle operating at 20 km altitude with freestream velocity of 25 m/s. The chord length(C) is5 m and the Reynolds number based on chord length is Re = 7.76 × 105. Gurney flaps with the heights ranging from 0.25%C to 3%C were investigated. The shear stress transport(SST) k-ω turbulence model was used to simulate the flow structure around the airfoil. It is showed that Gurney flap can enhance not only the prestall lift but also lift-to-drag ratio in a certain range of angles of attack. Specially, at cruise angle of attack(α = 3°), Gurney flap with 0.5%C height can increase lift-to-drag ratio by 2.7%, and lift coefficient by 12.9%, respectively. Furthermore, the surface pressure distribution, streamlines and trailing-edge flow structure around the airfoil are illustrated, which are helpful to understand the mechanisms of Gurney flap on airfoil aerodynamic performance. | 6 | Transonic buffet control research with two types of shock control bump based on RAE2822 airfoil显示文摘Current research shows that the traditional shock control bump(SCB) can weaken the intensity of shock and better the transonic buffet performance. The author finds that when SCB is placed downstream of the shock, it can decrease the adverse pressure gradient. This may prevent the shock foot separation bubble to merge with the trailing edge separation and finally improve the buffet performance. Based on RAE2822 airfoil, two types of SCB are designed according to the two different mechanisms. By using Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) and unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(URANS) methods to analyze the properties of RAE2822 airfoil with and without SCB, the results show that the downstream SCB can better the buffet performance under a wide range of freestream Mach number and the steady aerodynamics characteristic is similar to that of RAE2822 airfoil. The traditional SCB can only weaken the intensity of the shock under the design condition. Under the off-design conditions, the SCB does not do much to or even worsen the buffet performance. | 7 | Multiple transformation pathways of p-arsanilic acid to inorganic arsenic species in water during UV disinfection显示文摘p-Arsanilic acid(p-ASA) is widely used in China as livestock and poultry feed additive for promoting animal growth.The use of organoarsenics poses a potential threat to the environment because it is mostly excreted by animals in its original form and can be transformed by UV–Vis light excitation.This work examined the initial rate and efficiency of p-ASA phototransformation under UV-C disinfection lamp.Several factors influencing p-ASA phototransformation,namely,p H,initial concentration,temperature,as well as the presence of Na Cl,NH4+,and humic acid,were investigated.Quenching experiments and LC–MS were performed to investigate the mechanism of p-ASA phototransformation.Results show that p-ASA was decomposed to inorganic arsenic(including As(Ⅲ) and As(V))and aromatic products by UV-C light through direct photolysis and indirect oxidation.The oxidation efficency of p-ASA by direct photosis was about 32%,and those by HOU and1O2 were 19% and 49%,respectively.Cleavage of the arsenic–benzene bond through direct photolysis,HOU oxidation or1O2 oxidation results in simultaneous formation of inorganic As(Ⅲ),As(IV),and As(V).Inorganic As(Ⅲ) is oxidized to As(IV) and then to As(V) by1O2 or HOU.As(IV) can undergo dismutation or simply react with oxygen to produce As(V) as well.Reactions of the organic moieties of p-ASA produce aniline,aminophenol and azobenzene derivatives as main products.The photoconvertible property of p-ASA implies that UV disinfection of wastewaters from poultry and swine farms containing p-ASA poses a potential threat to the ecosystem,especially agricultural environments. | Suqi Li Jing Xu Wei Chen Yingtan Yu Zizheng Liu Jinjun Li Feng Wu | 2016 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,9: | 4 |

| 9 | Water dissipation mechanism of residential and office buildings in urban areas显示文摘Indoor humidity directly impacts the health of indoor populations. In arid and semi-arid cities, the buildings indoor humidity is typically higher than outdoors, and the presence of water vapor results from water dissipation inside the buildings. Few studies have explored indoor humidity features and vapor distribution or evaluated water dissipation inside buildings. This study examined temperature and relative humidity(RH) changes in typical residential and office buildings. The results indicate a relatively stable temperature with vary range of ±1°C and a fluctuation RH trend which is similarly to that of water use. We proposed the concept of building water dissipation to describe the transformation of liquid water into gaseous water during water consumption and to develop a building water dissipation model that involves two main parameters: indoor population and total floor area. The simulated values were verified by measuring water consumption and water drainage, and the resulting simulation errors were lower for residential than for office buildings. The results indicate that bathroom vapor accounts for 70% of water dissipation in residential buildings. | 10 | Novel C-17 spirost protostane-type triterpenoids from Alisma plantago-aquatica with antiinflammatory activity in Caco-2 cells显示文摘Twenty-one protostane-type triterpenoids with diverse structures, including nine new compounds(1 e9), were isolated from the of Alisma plantago-aquatica Linn. Structurally, alisolides A-F(1 e6), composed of an oxole group coupled to a five-membered ring, represent unusual C-17 spirost protostane-type triterpenoids. Alisolide H(8) is a novel triterpenoid with an unreported endoperoxide bridge. Alisolide I(9) represents the first example of 23,24-acetal triterpenoid. Their structures were elucidated based on spectroscopic analysis, wherein the absolute configurations of 4-6, 8 were further confirmed by the Mo2(OAc)4-induced ECD method. Specially, at cruise angle of attack(3°), Gurney flap with the height of 0.5%C.can increase lift-to-drag ratio and lift coefficient by 1.6% and 12.8%, respectively. Furthermore, the mechanisms of Gurney flaps to improve the aerodynamic performance were illustrated by analyzing the surface pressure distribution, streamlines and trailing-edge flow structure for this low Reynolds number airfoil. Specially, distinguished from some other numerical researches, the flow details such as the laminar separation bubble and transition phenomena for low Reynolds number airfoil with Gurney flaps were investigated and it was found that Gurney flaps can delay the transition onset position at small angles of attack(≤2°). The structure and magnetic properties of Tb0.2Pr0.8(Fe0.4Co0.6)1.93 were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), a vibrating sample magnetometer, and a standard strain technique. The effect of annealing on the structure and magnetic properties was studied. The analysis of XRD shows that the high Pr-content Tb0.2Pr0.8(Fe0.4Co0.6)1.93 alloy with the single phase of MgCu2-type structure can be success-fully synthesized by MA method. The sample annealed at 450°C is found to have a coercivity of 196 kA/m at room temperature. An ep-oxy/Tb0.2Pr0.8(Fe0.4Co0.6)1.93 composite was produced by a cold isostatic pressing technique. A large magnetostriction of 400 ppm, at an ap-plied magnetic field of 800 kA/m, was found for the composite.
