| 2 | Chinmedomics facilitated quality-marker discovery of Sijunzi decoction to treat spleen qi deficiency syndrome显示文摘Sijunzi decoction (SJZD) is a Chinese classical formula to treat spleen qi deficiency syndrome (SQDS) and has been widely used for thousands of years.However,the quality control (QC) standards of SJZD are insufficient.Chinmedomics has been designed to discover and verify bioactive compounds of a variety of formularapidly.In this study,we used Chinmedomics to evaluate the SJZD's efficacy against SQDS to discover the potential quality-markers (q-markers) for QC.A total of 56 compounds in SJZD were characterized in vitro,and 23 compounds were discovered in vivo.A total of 58 biomarkers were related to SQDS,and SJZD can adjust a large proportion of marker metabolites to normal level and then regulate the metabolic profile to the health status.A total of 10 constituents were absorbed as effective ingredients that were associated with overall efficacy.We preliminarily determined malonyl-ginsenoside Rb2 and ginsenoside Ro as the q-markers of ginseng;dehydrotumulosic acid and dihydroxy lanostene-triene-21-acid as the q-markers of poria;glycyrrhizic acid,isoglabrolide,and glycyrrhetnic acid as the q-markers of licorice;and 2-atractylenolide as the q-marker of macrocephala.According to the discovery of the SJZD q-markers,we can establish the quality standard that is related to efficacy. | Qiqi Zhao Xin Gao Guangli Yan Aihua Zhang Hui Sun Ying Han Wenxiu Li Liang Liu Xijun Wang | 2020 | Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,3: | 7 |
| 3 | Precipitate coarsening and its effects on the hot deformation behavior of the recently developedγ’-strengthened superalloys显示文摘Recently,theγ’-strengthened superalloys are of great interests in high temperature applications due to their excellent high temperature strength which is derived from theγ’strengthening phase.For theseγ’-strengthened superalloys,the changes in morphology,size and distribution ofγ’precipitates due to coarsening during thermal exposure have a significant impact on the properties of alloys.This article briefly summarizes the recent advances on the coarsening behavior of gamma prime precipitates in the recently-developedγ’-strengthened superalloys and its effects on the hot deformation behavior of superalloys,drawing specific examples on Allvac^(■)718 Plus TM and Ni3 Al-based intermetallic superalloys.It is found that the particle size plays an important role in morphological evolution ofγ’precipitates.For instance,the morphology ofγ’precipitates evolves from cuboidal to strip-like or other complex structures in Ni3 Al-based intermetallic alloys,while theγ’precipitates in Allvac^(■)718 Plus alloy always present nearspherical morphology due to the relatively small initial particle size.The Lifshitz-Slyozof-Wagner(LSW)theory and its modifications,as well as Trans-Interface Diffusion Controlled(TIDC)theory have been applied to describing the coarsening kinetics ofγ’precipitates.Additionally,the hot deformation behavior ofγ’-strengthened superalloy is found to be greatly influenced by the coarsening ofγ’precipitates. | Yuting Wu Chong Li Xingchuan Xia Hongyan Liang Qiqi Qi Yongchang Liu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,8: | 7 |
| 4 | PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling orchestrates the phenotypic transition and chemo-resistance of small cell lung cancer显示文摘Small cell lung cancer(SCLC)is a phenotypically heterogeneous disease with an extremely poor prognosis,which is mainly attributed to the rapid development of resistance to chemotherapy.However,the relation between the growth phenotypes and chemo-resistance of SCLC remains largely unclear.Through comprehensive bioinformatic analyses,we found that the heterogeneity of SCLC phenotype was significantly associated with different sensitivity to chemotherapy.Adherent or semiadherent SCLC cells were enriched with activation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway and were highly chemoresistant.Mechanistically,activation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway promotes the phenotypic transition from suspension to adhesion growth pattern and confers SCLC cells with chemo-resistance.Such chemo-resistance could be largely overcome by combining chemotherapy with PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway inhibitors.Our findings support that the PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway plays an important role in SCLC phenotype transition and chemo-resistance,which holds important clinical implications for improving SCLC treatment. | Xuefeng Li Cheng Li Chenchen Guo Qiqi Zhao Jiayu Cao Hsin-Yi Huang Meiting Yue Yun Xue Yujuan Jin Liang Hu Hongbin Ji | 2021 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,7: | 5 |
| 5 | Facile preparation of hierarchical Ni@Mn-doped NiO hybrids for efficient and durable oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Exploring highly efficient and non-noble-metal-based electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is of great importance not only for water splitting but also for rechargeable metal-air batteries and fuel cells.Herein,we describe a simple strategy to prepare hierarchical Ni@Mn-doped Ni O hybrids using flower-like Ni-Mn layered double hydroxides(Ni Mn-LDHs)as a precursor.After calcination at 400℃for an hour under N_(2)atmosphere,the flower-like Ni Mn-LDHs transform to porous microspheres consisting of nanoparticles,in which Ni cores are encapsulated by Mn-doped NiO shells(denoted as Ni@MnNi O-400).Benefiting to this unique porous,core-shell structures and element doping,the as-prepared Ni@Mn-NiO-400 hybrid shows a low overpotential of 178 mV at the current density of 10 mA/cm^(2)and Tafel slope of 52.7 m V/dec in 1 mol/L KOH solution.More significantly,the Ni@Mn-Ni O-400 hybrid also demonstrates superior stability of 98.6%after 50 h continuously testing,much higher than pristine Ni MnLDHs and commercial IrO_(2)catalyst.In addition,theoretical simulation shows that Ni core and Mn doping greatly affect the electronic states and electronic structure of Ni O.As a result,Ni@Mn-doped Ni O hybrid possesses an optimal adsorption activity towards oxygen species than Ni O and undoped Ni@Ni O hybrid.Considering the compositional and structural flexibility of LDHs,this work may offer a simple method to prepare other non-noble metal-based electrocatalysts for OER. | Yi Liu Liang Bai Qiqi Jia Peitong Li Yao Yan Ningkai Yuan Xiaodong Hao | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5: | 1 |

| 8 | Low-content Pt-triggered the optimized d-band center of Rh metallene for energy-saving hydrogen production coupled with hydrazine degradation显示文摘Utilizing the hydrazine-assisted water electrolysis for energy-efficient hydrogen production shows a promising application, which relies on the development and design of efficient bifunctional electrocatalysts. Herein, we reported a low-content Pt-doped Rh metallene(Pt-Rhene) for hydrazine-assisted water electrolysis towards energy-saving hydrogen(H_(2)) production, where the ultrathin metallene is constructed to provide enough favorable active sites for catalysis and improve atom utilization.Additionally, the synergistic effect between Rh and Pt can optimize the electronic structure of Rh for improving the intrinsic activity. Therefore, the required overpotential of Pt-Rhene is only 37 mV to reach a current density of-10 mA cm^(-2) in the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER), and the Pt-Rhene exhibits a required overpotential of only 11 mV to reach a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2) in the hydrazine oxidation reaction(HzOR). With the constructed HER-HzOR two-electrode system, the Pt-Rhene electrodes exhibit an extremely low voltage(0.06/0.19/0.28 V) to achieve current densities of 10/50/100 mA cm^(-2) for energy-saving H_(2) production, which greatly reduces the electrolysis energy consumption. | 15 | Characteristics and Clinical Implication of UGT1A1 Heterozygous Mutation in Tumor显示文摘Background:The literature recommends that reduced dosage of CPT-11 should be applied in patients with UGT1 A1 homozygous mutations,but the impact of UGT1 A1 heterozygous mutations on the adverse reactions of CPT-11 is still not fully clear.Methods:A total of 107 patients with UGT1 A1 heterozygous mutation or wild-type,who were treated with CPT-11 from January 2018 to September 2021 in Peking University Third Hospital,were retrospectively enrolled.The adverse reaction spectra of patients with UGT1 A1*6 and UGT1 A1*28 mutations were analyzed.Adverse reactions were evaluated according to National Cancer Institute Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events(NCI-CTCAE) 5.0.The efficacy was evaluated according to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(RECIST) 1.1.The genotypes of UGT1 A1*6 and UGT1 A1*28 were detected by digital fluorescence molecular hybridization.Results:There were 43 patients with UGT1 A1*6 heterozygous mutation,26 patients with UGT1 A1*28 heterozygous mutation,8 patients with UGT1 A1*6 and UGT1 A1*28 double heterozygous mutations,61 patients with heterozygous mutation at any gene locus of UGT1 A1*6 and UGT1 A1*28.Logistic regression analysis showed that the presence or absence of vomiting(P=0.013) and mucositis(P=0.005) was significantly correlated with heterozygous mutation of UGT1 A1*28,and the severity of vomiting(P<0.001) and neutropenia(P=0.021) were significantly correlated with heterozygous mutation of UGT1 A1*6.In colorectal cancer,UGT1 A1*6 was significantly correlated to diarrhea(P=0.005),and the other adverse reactions spectrum was similar to that of the whole patient cohort,and efficacy and prognosis were similar between patients with different genotypes and patients treated with reduced CPT-11 dosage or not.Conclusion:In clinical use,heterozygous mutations of UGT1 A1*6 and UGT1 A1*28 are related to the risk and severity of vomiting,diarrhea,neutropenia and mucositis in patients with Pan-tumor and colorectal cancer post CPT-11 therpy.In colorectal cancer,UGT1 A1*6 is significantly related to diarrhea post CPT-11 use,efficacy and prognosis is not affected by various genotypes or CPT-11 dosage reduction. | Qian LI Tao SUN Hua ZHANG Wei LIU Yu XIAO Hongqi SUN Wencheng YIN Yanhong YAO Yangchun GU Yan'e LIU Fumei YI Qiqi WANG Jinyu YU Baoshan CAO Li LIANG | 2022 | 中国肺癌杂志2022,25,3: | 0 |

| 18 | Population genome of the newly discovered Jinchuan yak to understand its adaptive evolution in extreme environments and generation mechanism of the multirib trait显示文摘The adaptation and diversity of animals to the extreme environments of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau(QTP)are typical materials to study adaptive evolution.The recently discovered Jinchuan yak population has many individuals with multiple ribs.However,little is known about this yak’s origin,evolution,and the genetic mechanisms that formed its unique multirib trait.Here,we report a valuable population genome resource of the Jinchuan yak by resequencing the whole genome of 150 individuals.Population genetic polymorphism and structure analysis reveal that Jinchuan yak can be differentiated as a unique and original yak population among the domestic yak.Combined with geological change,the Jinchuan yak’s evolutionary origin is speculated to be about 6290 years ago,which may be related to the unique geographical environment of the eastern edge of the QTP during this period.Compared with other domestic yaks,this new population has 280 positively selected genes.The genes related to skeletal function hold a considerable and remarkable proportion,suggesting that the specific skeletal characteristics have been enhanced in the adaptive evolution of Jinchuan yak in the extreme plateau environment.The genome-wide association study has revealed that TUBA8 and TUBA4A,the genes that regulate the cytoskeleton,are potential genes associated with the multirib trait.Our findings provide a basis to further understand the generation mechanism of the adaptive evolution of this new population in high-altitude extreme environments and the multivertebrate trait of domestic animals. | Daoliang LAN Wenhui JI Xianrong XIONG Qiqi LIANG Wenye YAO Tserang-Donko MIPAM Jincheng ZHONG Jian LI | 2021 | Integrative Zoology2021,16,5: | 0 |
| 19 | M1 macrophage-related gene model for NSCLC immunotherapy response prediction显示文摘Patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)have a limited lifespan and exhibit poor immunotherapy outcomes.M1 macrophages have been found to be essential for antitumor immunity.This study aims to develop an immunotherapy response evaluation model for NSCLC patients based on transcription.RNA sequencing profiles of 254 advanced-stage NSCLC patients treated with immunotherapy are downloaded from the POPLAR and OAK projects.Immune cell infiltration in NSCLC patients is examined,and thereafter,different coexpressed genes are identified.Next,the impact of M1 macrophage-related genes on the prognosis of NSCLC patients is investigated.Six M1 macrophage coexpressed genes,namely,NKX2-1,CD8A,SFTA3,IL2RB,IDO1,and CXCL9,exhibit a strong association with the prognosis of NSCLC and serve as effective predictors for immunotherapy response.A response model is constructed using a Cox regression model and Lasso Cox regression analysis.The M1 genes are validated in our TD-FOREKNOW NSCLC clinical trial by RT-qPCR.The response model shows excellent immunotherapy response prediction and prognosis evaluation value in advanced-stage NSCLC.This model can effectively predict advanced NSCLC prognosis and aid in identifying patients who could benefit from customized immunotherapy as well as sensitive drugs. | Sifan Wu Qiqi Sheng Pengjun Liu Zhe Jiao Jinru Lv Rong Qiao Dongkun Xie Zanhan Wang Jiamei Ge Penghui Li Tiaoxia Wei Jie Lei Jieyi Fan Liang Wang | 2024 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2024,56,3: | 0 |
