2Cupric ion release and cytotoxicity for Yuangong Cu-IUDs and the release behavior of indomethacin for medicated 220 Cu-IUD显示文摘These years Yuangong copper-bearing intrauterine devices (Cu-IUDs) have been used because of less side effects in use. The corrosion of copper is essential to the success of contraception, and the release behavior of indomethacin from medicated Cu-IUD is related to its therapeutic effect. In this study, analytical methods were established to investigate the release behavior of cupric ion of three kinds of Yuangong Cu-IUDs and indomethacin of medicated Yuangong 220 Cu-IUD. Cu-IUDs were incubated in simulated uterine solution (SUS). The concentrations of cupric ion and indomethacin were analyzed by flame atomic absorption spectrometer (FAAS) for 60 days and UV/vis ?3310 spectrophotometer for 60 days, respectively. The morphology of copper after corrosion was characterized by SEM. In addition, we detected cytotoxicity by MTT of L929 mouse fibroblasts cells caused by extracts of the three Yuangong Cu-IUDs. The release behavior of cupric ion for three kinds of Yuangong Cu-IUDs was biphasic, which consisted of the initial burst release and then slow and constant release. In vitro release experiment confirmed a biphasic release of indomethacin from Yuangong 220. The copper wire of Yuangong Cu-IUDs showed uneven corrosion. The RGR value of Yuangong 365 Cu-IUD was smaller than that of medicated Yuangong 220 Cu-IUD and RGR value of medicated Yuangong 220 Cu-IUD was smaller than that of Yuangong 300 Cu-IUD. The cupric ion release and indomethacin release showed biphasic. Indomethacin increased the cupric ion release rate and might diminish the adverse effects caused by burst release of cupric ion. The toxicity grade of these three Yuangong Cu-IUDs was 4. 4Pool Sizes and Turnover of Soil Organic Carbon of Farmland Soil in Karst Area of Guilin显示文摘The three-pool and first-order model separates the mineralizable organic carbon into active,slow,and passive carbon pools.This paper used the model and decomposition curves of the soil organic carbon to fit the active pool and its decomposition rate,slow pool and its decomposition rate.The results showed that the size of the active pool from different profiles accounted for 2.09%-3.08% of the total soil organic carbon and the mean residue time was 3.57-17.21 days.And the size of the slow pool accounted for 3.19%-43.55% and the mean residue time was 1.12-4.94 years.Acid hydrolysis(6M HCl) was used to fractionate the passive organic carbon,which accounted for 50.83%-94.44% of the total soil organic carbon.YANG Hui CAO Jianhua ZHANG Liankai HOU Yanlin MAO Lifeng 2011Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2011,18,1:2
5Vibration coupling effects and machining behavior of ultrasonic vibration plate device for creep-feed grinding of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy显示文摘Ultrasonic vibration-assisted grinding(UVAG)is an effective and promising method for machining of hard-to-cut materials.This article proposed an ultrasonic vibration plate device enabling the longitudinal full-wave and transverse half-wave(L2T1)vibration mode for UVAG.The characteristics of two-dimensional coupled vibration in different directions were analyzed on the basis of apparent elastic method and finite element method.Furthermore,a correction factor was applied to correct the frequency error caused by the apparent elastic method.Finally,the comparative experiments between the conventional creep-feed grinding and UVAG of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy were carried out.The results indicate that the apparent elastic method with the correction factor is accurate for the design of plate device under the L2T1 vibration mode.Compared with the conventional creep-feed grinding,the UVAG causes the reduction of grinding force and the improvement of machined surface quality of Inconel 718 nickel-based superalloy.Furthermore,under the current experimental conditions,the optimal ultrasonic vibration amplitude is determined as 6μm,with which the minimum surface roughness is achieved.Yang CAO Yejun ZHU Wenfeng DING Yutong QIU Lifeng WANG Jiuhua XU 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,2:2

9Influence of CaF_2 on the structure and dielectric properties of Ag(Nb_(0.8)Ta_(0.2))O_3 ceramics显示文摘Ag(Nb0.8Ta0.2)O3 ceramics were prepared by the traditional solid-state reaction method. The effect of CaF2 addition on the structure and di-electric properties of Ag(Nb0.8Ta0.2)O3 ceramics was investigated. The addition of CaF2 led the ceramics to a larger grain size and distortion of lattice. With the addition of 4.5 wt.% CaF2, the permittivity of the ceramics increased from 442 to 1028, the dielectric loss decreased sharply from 6.12 × 10-3 to 8.6 × 10-4, and the temperature coefficient of capacitance decreased from 1834 ppm/°C to-50 ppm/°C (at 1 MHz). 12Liver Fibrosis Scoring Systems as Novel Tools for Predicting Recurrent Cardiovascular Events in Patients with a Prior Cardiovascular Event显示文摘Objective:Regarding the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease(CVD),there is great interest in preventing recurrent cardiovascular events(RCVEs).The prognostic importance of liver fibrosis scores(LFSs)has previously been reported in variousCVDs.We hypothesized that LFSs might also be useful predictors for RCVEs in patients with prior cardiovascular events(CVEs).Herein,we aimed to evaluate the associations of LFSs with RCVEs in a large,real-world cohort of coronary artery disease(CAD)patients with a prior CVE.Methods:In this multicenter prospective study,6527 consecutive patients with angiography-diagnosed CAD who had experienced a prior CVE(acute coronary syndrome,stroke,percutaneous coronary intervention,or coronary artery bypass grafting)were enrolled.LFSs were computed according to the published formulas:non-alcoholic fatty liver disease fibrosis score(NFS)includes age,body mass index(BMI),impaired fasting glycemia or diabetes mellitus(DM),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)/alanine aminotransferase(ALT)ratio,platelets,and albumin;fibrosis-4(FIB-4)includes age,AST,ALT,and platelets;Forns score includes age,gamma-glutamyltransferase(GGT),and platelets;BARD includes BMI,AST/ALT ratio,and DM;GGT/platelet ratio includes GGT and platelets;AST/ALT ratio includes AST and ALT;and AST/platelet ratio index includes AST and platelets.The originally reported cutoffs were used for the categorization of low-,intermediate-,and high-score subgroups.All patients were followed up for the occurrence of RCVEs(comprising cardiovascular death,non-fatal myocardial infarction,and stroke).Cox and Poisson regression analyses were used to assess the relationship of baseline LFSs with the risk of RCVE.Results:During a mean follow-up of(54.67±18.80)months,532(8.2%)RCVEs were recorded.Intermediate and high NFS,FIB-4,Forns,and BARD scores were independently associated with an increased risk of RCVE(hazard ratios ranging from 1.42 to 1.75 for intermediate scores and 1.35 to 2.52 for high scores).In the subgroup analyses of sex,age,BMI,DM,and hypertension status,the increased risk of RCVEs with high LFSs(NFS,FIB-4,Forns,and BARD)was maintained across the different subgroups(all P<0.05).Conclusion:This study showed that LFSs are indeed independently associated with RCVEs,suggesting that LFSs may be used as novel tools for risk stratification in CAD patients with a prior CVE.Huihui Liu Yexuan Cao Jinglu Jin Yuanlin Guo Chenggang Zhu Naqiong Wu Qi Hua Yanfang Li Lifeng Hong Qian Dong Jianjun Li 2021Cardiology Discovery2021,1,4:1
13Improved C_(3-4) transfer for treatment of root avulsion of the brachial plexus upper trunk Animal experiments and clinical application显示文摘Experimental rats with root avulsion of the brachial plexus upper trunk were treated with the improved C3-4 transfer for neurotization of C5-6.Results showed that Terzis grooming test scores were significantly increased at 6 months after treatment,the latency of C5-6 motor evoked potential was gradually shortened,and the amplitude was gradually increased.The rate of C3 instead of C5 and the C4 + phrenic nerve instead of C6 myelinated nerve fibers crossing through the anastomotic stoma was approximately 80%.Myelinated nerve fibers were arranged loosely but the thickness of the myelin sheath was similar to that of the healthy side.In clinical applications,39 patients with root avulsion of the brachial plexus upper trunk were followed for 6 months to 4.5 years after treatment using the improved C3 instead of C5 nerve root transfer and C4 nerve root and phrenic nerve instead of C6 nerve root transfer.Results showed that the strength of the brachial biceps and deltoid muscles recovered to level III-IV,scapular muscle to level III-IV,latissimus dorsi and pectoralis major muscles to above level III,and the brachial triceps muscle to level 0-III.Results showed that the improved C3-4 transfer for root avulsion of the brachial plexus upper trunk in animal models is similar to clinical findings and that C3-4 and the phrenic nerve transfer for neurotization of C5-6 can innervate the avulsed brachial plexus upper trunk and promote the recovery of nerve function in the upper extremity.Lin Zou Xuecheng Cao Jing Li Lifeng Liu Pingshan Wang Jinfang Cai 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,20:0

15Effects of forest canopy density and epixylic vegetation on nutrient concentrations in decaying logs of a subalpine fir forest显示文摘Background:Deadwood and the associated epixylic vegetation influence nutrient cycles in forest ecosystems.Open canopies strongly regulate deadwood decomposition and disrupt epixylic vegetation on logs.However,it is unclear how the forest canopy density and epixylic vegetation growth affect the nutrient concentrations in deadwood.Methods:We measured the concentrations of nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P),potassium(K),calcium(Ca),sodium(Na),magnesium(Mg),and manganese(Mn)in experimentally exposed decaying logs placed in gaps,at the edge of gaps,and under the closed canopy during a four-year decomposition experiment in a Subalpine Faxon fir forest(Abies fargesii var.faxoniana)on the eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau,China.To assess the effect of the epixylic vegetation,we experimentally removed it from half of the logs used in the study.Results:Under open canopy conditions in the gap and at the edge,the concentrations for most of the nutrients in the bark and the highly decayed wood were lower than under the closed canopy.The effect of the epixylic treatment on nutrient concentrations for all but K and Na in barks varied with the decay classes.Significantly lower concentrations of N,P,Ca,and Mn following the removal of epixylic vegetation were observed in the wood of decay class IV.Epixylic vegetation significantly increased most nutrient concentrations for decaying barks and wood under open canopy conditions.In contrast,epixylic vegetation had no or minimal effects under the closed canopy.Conclusions:Forest canopy density and epixylic vegetation significantly alter the nutrient concentrations in decaying logs.Open canopies likely accelerate the rate of nutrient cycling between the epixylic vegetation and decaying logs in subalpine forests.Zhuang Wang Wanqin Yang Bo Tan Qin Wang Lifeng Wang Chenhui Chang Rui Cao Yurui Jiang Jörg Müller 2022Forest Ecosystems2022,9,5:0
16Genome-wide signatures of mammalian skin covering evolution显示文摘Animal body coverings provide protection and allow for adaptation to environmental pressures such as heat,ultraviolet radiation,water loss,and mechanical forces.Here,using a comparative genomics analysis of 39 mammal species spanning three skin covering types(hairless,scaly and spiny),we found some genes(e.g.,UVRAG,POLH,and XPC)involved in skin inflammation,skin innate immunity,and ultraviolet radiation damage repair were under selection in hairless ocean mammals(e.g.,whales and manatees).These signatures might be associated with a high risk of skin diseases from pathogens and ultraviolet radiation.Moreover,the genomes from three spiny mammal species shared convergent genomic regions(EPHB2,EPHA4,and NIN)and unique positively selected genes(FZD6,INVS,and CDC42)involved in skin cell polarity,which might be related to the development of spines.In scaly mammals,the shared convergent genomic regions(e.g.,FREM2)were associated with the integrity of the skin epithelium and epidermal adhesion.This study identifies potential convergent genomic features among distantly related mammals with the same skin covering type.Peng Cao Qinlong Dai Cao Deng Xiang Zhao Shishan Qin Jian Yang Ran Ju Zhiwen Wang Guoqing Lu Xiaodong Gu Zhisong Yang Lifeng Zhu 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,10:0

18Analysis of the future trends of typical mountain glacier movements along the Sichuan-Tibet Railway based on ConvGRU network显示文摘The anomalous movements of glaciers cause disasters,such as debrisflows and landslides.It is very important to assess the glacier movements and their future trends.Glacier velocity refers to movement process.The current research aims to analyse past and current spatiotemporal changes in glacier velocity.No study has used neural network model to conduct a spatiotemporal prediction for glacier velocity.Therefore,this paper selected typical mountain glaciers G2 and G5 along the Sichuan-Tibet Railway as research objects and constructed the Convolutional Gate Recurrent Unit(ConvGRU)spatiotemporal prediction model based on 1988–2018 Landsat data to predict velocities in 2019–2028,and analysed the future trends of G2 and G5.The evaluation indexes met the model requirements to a large extent,quantitatively showing that the model has high accuracy and can successfully capture thefluctuation changes in time series data of glacier velocity.The mean deviations of G2 and G5 were 0.09 and-0.47 m/yr,respectively,reflecting the high reliability of the model applied to extraction of glacier velocity.The velocities of G2 and G5 showed a slow downtrend withfluctuations;that is,they will not cause damage to the construction and operation of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway in the short term.Yali Zhang Lifeng Zhang Yi He Sheng Yao Wang Yang Shengpeng Cao Qiang Sun 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
