| 2 | Geological Features and Reservoiring Mode of Shale Gas Reservoirs in Longmaxi Formation of the Jiaoshiba Area显示文摘This study is based on the sedimentation conditions, organic geochemistry, storage spaces, physical properties, lithology and gas content of the shale gas reservoirs in Longmaxi Formation of the Jiaoshiba area and the gas accumulation mode is summarized and then compared with that in northern America. The shale gas reservoirs in the Longmaxi Formation in Jiaoshiba have good geological conditions, great thickness of quality shales, high organic content, high gas content, good physical properties, suitable depth, good preservation conditions and good reservoir types. The quality shales at the bottom of the deep shelf are the main target interval for shale gas exploration and development. | 3 | Blocking FSH inhibits hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis and reduces serum cholesterol显示文摘Menopause is associated with dyslipidemia and an increased risk of cardio-cerebrovascular disease.The classic view assumes that the underlying mechanism of dyslipidemia is attributed to an insufficiency of estrogen.In addition to a decrease in estrogen, circulating follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)levels become elevated at menopause.In this study,we find that blocking FSH reduces serum cholesterol via inhibiting hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis.First,epidemiological results show that the serum FSH levels are positively correlated with the serum total cholesterol levels,even after adjustment by considering the effects of serum estrogen,in addition,the prevalence of hypercholesterolemia is significantly higher in peri-menopausal women than that in premenopausal women.Furthermore,we generated a mouse model of FSH elevation by intraperitoneally injecting exogenous FSH into ovariectomized (OVX)mice,in which a normal level of estrogen (E2)was maintained by exogenous supplementation. Consistently,the results indicate that FSH,independent of estrogen,increases the serum cholesterol level in this mouse model. | 7 | Analysis of IGF2 mRNA expression and its methylation status between cattle yaks and their parents显示文摘Cattle yaks are an F1 hybrid between cattle and yaks and exhibit significant hybrid vigor. However, cattle yaks are sterile males. To study the epigenetic aspects of this reproductive isolation, IGF2 mRNA expression in cattle yaks and their parents and the patterns of the IGF2 differentially methylated regions (DMR) were examined in blood and testes. The results showed that IGF2 expression in cattle yaks' testes was lower than in their parents (P < 0.01). The IGF2 DMR was highly methylated (above 90%) in blood and testes of cattle yaks, yaks and cattle, with the highest level in cattle yaks (P > 0.05). Our study showed that IGF2 plays an important role in bovine spermato-genesis and might be involved in cattle-yak male sterility. | 8 | 120 mm Single-crystalline perovskite and wafers: towards viable applications显示文摘As the large single-crystalline silicon wafers have revolutionized many industries including electronics and solar cells, it is envisioned that the availability of large single-crystalline perovskite crystals and wafers will revolutionize its broad applications in photovoltaics, optoelectronics, lasers, photodetectors, light emitting diodes(LEDs), etc. Here we report a method to grow large single-crystalline perovskites including single-halide crystals: CH3NH3PbX3(X=I, Br, Cl), and dual-halide ones:CH3NH3Pb(ClxBr1.x)3 and CH3NH3Pb(BrxI1.x)3, with the largest crystal being 120 mm in length. Meanwhile, we have advanced a process to slice the large perovskite crystals into thin wafers. It is found that the wafers exhibit remarkable features:(1)its trap-state density is a million times smaller than that in the microcrystalline perovskite thin films(MPTF);(2) its carrier mobility is 410 times higher than its most popular organic counterpart P3HT;(3) its optical absorption is expanded to as high as910 nm comparing to 797 nm for the MPTF;(4) while MPTF decomposes at 150 °C, the wafer is stable at high temperature up to270 °C;(5) when exposed to high humidity(75% RH), MPTF decomposes in 5 h while the wafer shows no change for overnight;(6) its photocurrent response is 250 times higher than its MPTF counterpart. A few electronic devices have been fabricated using the crystalline wafers. Among them, the Hall test gives low carrier concentration with high mobility. The trap-state density is measured much lower than common semiconductors. Moreover, the large SC-wafer is found particularly useful for mass production of integrated circuits. By adjusting the halide composition, both the optical absorption and the light emission can be fine-tuned across the entire visible spectrum from 400 nm to 800 nm. It is envisioned that a range of visible lasers and LEDs may be developed using the dual-halide perovskites. | 10 | Light doping of tungsten into copper-platinum nanoalloys for boosting their electrocatalytic performance in methanol oxidation显示文摘Coupling the bi-functional mechanism with compressive lattice strain might be an effective way to boost the electrocatalysis of platinum(Pt)-based nanoparticles for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR).This strategy weakens the chemisorption of poisoning CO-like intermediates generated during MOR on the active Pt sites by lowering their d-band center.In this context,we herein report the synthesis of ternary copper-tungsten-platinum(CuWPt)nanoalloys with light doping of W element by simply co-reducing their precursors at elevated temperature.In this ternary alloy system,the presence of only small amount of W element not only weakens the chemisorption of CO-like intermediates by lowering the Pt d-band center through compressive lattice strain,but also cleans the active Pt sites by“hydrogen spillover effect”,endowing the as-prepared CuWPt nanoalloys at an appropriate Cu/W/Pt ratio with good activity for MOR.In specific,the ternary CuWPt alloy nanoparticles at a Cu/W/Pt molar ratio of 21/4/75 show a specific activity of 2.5 mA·cm^(−2)and a mass activity of 2.11 A·mg^(−1)with a better durability,outperforming those ternary CuWPt alloy nanoparticles at other Cu/W/Pt ratios,binary CuPt alloys and commercial Pt/C catalyst as well as a large number of reported Pt-based electrocatalysts.In addition,a single direct methanol fuel cell(DMFC)assembled using ternary CuWPt nanoalloys as anodic catalysts shows a power density of 24.3 mW·cm^(−2)and an open-circle voltage of 0.6 V,also much higher than those of the single DMFC assembled from commercial Pt/C catalysts. | Danye Liu Qing Zeng Chaoquan Hu Dong Chen Hui Liu Yongsheng Han Lin Xu Qingbo Zhang Jun Yang | 2022 | Nano Research Energy2022,1,2: | 4 |

| 13 | Improved perovskite solar cell efficiency by tuning the colloidal size and free ion concentration in precursor solution using formic acid additive显示文摘Improving the quality of the perovskite active layer is crucial to obtaining high performance perovskite solar cells(PSCs). In this work, by introducing formic acid into the formamidinium lead iodide(FAPbI3)precursor solution, we managed to achieve reduced colloidal size in the solution, leading to more uniform deposition of FAPbI3 film with lower trap state density and higher carrier mobility. The solar cells based on the FAPbI3 absorber layer modified with formic acid show significantly better photovoltaic performance than that on the reference FAPbI3 film without formic acid. The device performance shows a close correlation with the colloidal size. Within the range studied from 6.7 to 1.0 nm, the smaller the colloidal size is, the higher the solar cell efficiency. More specifically, the cell efficiency is improved from17.82% for the control cell without formic acid to 19.81% when 0.764 M formic acid was used. | 14 | Heterostructured ZnFe_2O_4/Fe_2TiO_5/TiO_2 Composite Nanotube Arrays with an Improved Photocatalysis Degradation Efficiency Under Simulated Sunlight Irradiation显示文摘To improve the visible light absorption and photocatalytic activity of titanium dioxide nanotube arrays(TONTAs), ZnFe_2O_4(ZFO) nanocrystals were perfused into pristine TONTA pipelines using a novel bias voltageassisted perfusion method. ZFO nanocrystals were well anchored on the inner walls of the pristine TONTAs when the ZFO suspensions(0.025 mg m L^(-1)) were kept under a60 V bias voltage for 1 h. After annealing at 750 °C for2 h, the heterostructured ZFO/Fe_2 TiO_5(FTO)/TiO_2 composite nanotube arrays were successfully obtained. Furthermore, Fe^(3+)was reduced to Fe^(2+)when solid solution reactions occurred at the interface of ZFO and the pristine TONTAs. Introducing ZFO significantly enhanced thevisible light absorption of the ZFO/FTO/TONTAs relative to that of the annealed TONTAs. | 20 | Pattern characteristics in patients with primary liver cancer in different clinical stages显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the characteristics of primary liver cancer in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) by analyzing the variations of the patterns along with the clinical stages.METHODS: The patients who were hospitalized in the Changhai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine dated from March 1999 to December 2008 were included in this retrospective study. The patients were grouped according to their cancer stages, and their patterns were judged and quantified according to the 'Standard diagnosis and quantitative criteria of the common patterns in primary liv-er cancer' formulated by the Changhai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Statistics methods included ANOVA and nonparametric test, among others.RESULTS: The data of the 398 newly diagnosed patients showed that Qi Stagnation, Blood Stasis, and Dampness patterns were more frequent than the other basic patterns with relatively high scores; patterns of Liver Qi Stagnation, Liver Blood Stasis, and Dampness Heat were more than the other complex patterns and scored relatively high. Scores of Dampness and Liver Qi Stagnation patterns varied among the groups at different stages and the differences were statistically significant(PDampness= 0.002,PLiver Qi Stagnation= 0.020). The highest scores of Dampness pattern and Liver Qi Stagnation pattern corresponded with Stage Ⅲb, and Stage equency wⅢ a, respectively. Dampness pattern fras higher(P =0.001) in the Stage Ⅲb group than in other groups.CONCLUSION: Pattern characteristics in patients with primary liver cancer of different clinical stages might manifest in the variations of the Dampness pattern along the process of the disease and the major pathogenic factor of primary liver cancer might be Dampness. | Qin Liping Meng Jing Lang Qingbo Liu Long Li Bai | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,1: | 2 |
