1Application of next-generation sequencing technology to precision medicine in cancer: joint consensus of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology显示文摘Next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology is capable of sequencing millions or billions of DNA molecules simultaneously.Therefore, it represents a promising tool for the analysis of molecular targets for the initial diagnosis of disease, monitoring of disease progression, and identifying the mechanism of drug resistance. On behalf of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) and the China Actionable Genome Consortium(CAGC), the present expert group hereby proposes advisory guidelines on clinical applications of NGS technology for the analysis of cancer driver genes for precision cancer therapy. This group comprises an assembly of laboratory cancer geneticists, clinical oncologists, bioinformaticians,pathologists, and other professionals. After multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, the expert group has reached a preliminary consensus on the need of NGS in clinical diagnosis, its regulation, and compliance standards in clinical sample collection. 2Hf isotopes of zircon megacrysts from the Cenozoic basalts in eastern China显示文摘Cenozoic basalts are widely distributed in east- ern China, and some of them contain zircon megacrysts which are considered to be constituent mineral of the sub- continental lithospheric mantle (SCLM) and petrogenetically related to mantle metasomatism induced by addition of crustal materials. Using the Laser Ablation Multiple Collec- tor Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (LA-MC-ICPMS), zircon megacrysts from the Cenozoic ba- salts at Changle in Shandong, Mingxi in Fujian, and Penglai in Hainan provinces have been used for Hf isotopic analyses. The data indicate that there is no significant deviation for the different zircon grains in each locale, except those from Penglai. The obtained 176Hf /177Hf ratios are 0.28302 — 0.28308 for Changle, 0.28297—0.28300 for Mingxi, and 0.28288—0.28293 for Penglai, with corresponding εHf values of 8.7—10.8, 7.0—7.9, and 3.9—5.7, respectively. These data display that there existed some regional heterogeneity, but the Hf model ages clustere in the Phanerozoic. Therefore, it is inferred that metasomatism of the lithospheric mantle be- neath eastern China took place in the Phanerozoic, most probably in the Mesozoic-Cenozoic. 3Simultaneous quantification of fifty-one odor-causing compounds in drinking water using gas chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry显示文摘A wide range of compounds with various structural features can cause taste and odor(T&O)problems in drinking water. It would be desirable to determine all of these compounds using a simple analytical method. In this paper, a sensitive method combining liquid–liquid extraction(LLE) with gas chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry(GC–MS/MS)was established to simultaneously analyze 51 odor-causing compounds in drinking water,including organic sulfides, aldehydes, benzenes, phenols, ethers, esters, ketones, nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds, 2-methylisoborneol and geosmin. Three deuterated analogs of target analytes, dimethyl disulfide-d6, benzaldehyde-d6 and o-cresol-3,4,5,6-d4,were used to correct the variations in recovery, and five isotope-labeled internal standards(4-chlorotoluene-d4, 1, 4-dichlorobenzene-d4, naphthalene-d8, acenaphthene-d10, phenanthrene-d10 respectively) were used prior to analysis to correct the variations arising from instrument fluctuations and injection errors. The calibration curves of the target compounds showed good linearity(R2> 0.99, level = 7),and method detection limits(MDLs) below 1/10 of the odor threshold concentrations were achieved for most of the odorants(0.10–20.55 ng/L). The average recoveries of most of the analytes in tap water samples were between 70% and 120%, and the method was reproducible(RSD < 20%, n = 7). 4Precise determination of the reference point coordinates of Shanghai Tianma 65-m radio telescope显示文摘A local survey was implemented at the newly constructed Shanghai Tianma 65-m radio telescope.In this article,the survey implementation and data analysis are described.Particularly,by application of coordinate transformation,dimensionality reduction and step fitting of parameters,as well as adoption of reliability test measures of parameters,the mathematical model of data analysis is simplified,the detrimental effects of observation noises and unevenly spatial coverage of sample points are effectively compressed,the stability and precision of parameter solutions are improved,and so the geocentric three-dimensional coordinates of the reference point of this telescope in the precision of millimeters were determined,and the axisoffset was shown not significant on the precision level of3 mm.The outcome provides important reference to the subsequent activities of antenna maintenance and scientific application,including the establishment of precise antenna orientation model,orientation guidance,fringe searching in data cross-correlation,analysis and application studies of VLBI observations.It is also important archive data for monitoring possible subsidence and lateral displacement of antenna foundation as well as deformation of antenna tracking-rail and structure.Jinling Li Fuwen Xiong Chenglei Yu Jinwei Zhang Li Guo Qingyuan Fan 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,21:5
5Gene expression profiling and mechanism study of neural stem cells response to surface chemistry显示文摘To declare the mechanisms of neural stem cells(NSCs)in response to material surface chemistry,NSCs were exposed to the self-assemble monolayers of alkanethiolates on gold surfaces terminated with amine(NH2),hydroxyl(OH)and methyl(CH3)for analysis.The morphological responses of NSCs were recorded;the gene expression profilings were detected by genechips;the gene expressions data of NSCs responded to different chemical groups were declared through the gene ontology term and pathway analyses.It showed that cells behaved dissimilar on the three chemical groups,the adhesion,proliferation and migration were easier on the NH2 and OH groups;the gene expressions of NSCs were induced differently,either,involved in several functional processes and signaling pathways.CH3 group induced genes enriched much in chemistry reactions and death processes,whereas many genes of cellular nucleotide metabolism were down-regulated.NH2 group induced NSCs to express many genes of receptors on membrane,and participated in cellular signal transduction of cell adhesion and interactions,or associated with axon growth.OH group was similar to NH2 group to induce the membrane response,but it also down regulated metabolism of cells.Therefore,it declared the chemical groups affected NSCs through inner way and the NH2,OH and CH3 groups triggered the cellular gene expression in different signaling pathways.Ying Wang Shenglian Yao Qingyuan Meng Xiaolong Yu Xiumei Wang Fuzhai Cui 2014Regenerative Biomaterials2014,1,1:4
6Oxygen octahedron tilting,electrical properties and mechanical behaviors in alkali niobate-based lead-free piezoelectric ceramics显示文摘In this work,we present a new piezoelectric solid solution consisting of two typical alkali niobate-based materials,K_(0.5)Na_(0.5)NbO_(3)(KNN)and Li_(0.15)Na_(0.85)NbO_(3)(LNN).Although KNN and LNN have the same perovskite structure,they exhibit extremely different electrical properties and mechanical behaviors.The phase structures,electrical and mechanical evolutions of the new lead-free piezoelectric materials with different ratios of KNN and LNN are comprehensively and theoretically investigated.According to the Xray diffraction patterns and curves of permittivity versus temperature,a series of complicated phase transitions can be found with varied LNN content.Rietveld refinement results based on XRD patterns reveal an oxygen octahedron tilting in the LNN-rich crystal structure,and simultaneously the reasons for octahedron tilting are discussed.The distorted crystal structure is accompanied by extremely decreased electric properties but increased mechanical properties,which reveals electrical and mechanical properties of alkali niobate-based piezoelectric ceramics strongly depend on their inner structures,and the enhancement of intrinsic hardness results in the deterioration of piezoelectric properties.Our work exhibits the detailed evolutions of structure,electrical and mechanical properties from KNN to LNN,which provides experimental and theoretical basis for development of new alkali niobate-based piezoelectric materials.Zhi Tan Shaoxiong Xie Laiming Jiang Jie Xing Yu Chen Jianguo Zhu Dingquan Xiao Qingyuan Wang 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,3:3
7Temperature dependence of niobium superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors in He-3 cryocooler显示文摘Performances of superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors(SNSPDs) based on low TCmaterials strongly depend on the operating temperatures. We have fabricated infrared-sensitive niobium SNSPDs based on doped niobium(Nb*) films and measured them in He-3cryocooler. The critical current approaches to the de-pairing current at 0.3 K. Therefore, with the decrease in temperatures, we have observed a monotonous increase of count rate at the wavelength of 1,521 nm and exponential decrease of dark count rate at all bias currents. 8The prognostic value of programmed cell death ligand 1expression in non-Hodgkin lymphoma:a meta-analysis显示文摘Objective: Although the prognostic value of programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1) expression in non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL) has been evaluated in many studies, the results remain controversial. To investigate the prognostic role of PD-L1 expression and the association between PD-L1 expression and clinicopathological features of NHL, we performed a meta-analysis.Methods: The Pub Med, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library databases were searched up to November 30, 2017. The hazard ratio(HR), 95% confidence interval(CI), and odds ratios(OR) with 95% CIs were combined to evaluate the association of PD-L1 expression with overall survival(OS) and clinicopathological features. Review manager 5.3 and STATA 12.0 were used in this meta-analysis.Results: A total of 2,005 patients across nine studies were enrolled in our meta-analysis, and the pooled results showed that high PD-L1 expression was associated with a poor prognosis(HR=2.04, 95% CI: 1.18–3.54, P=0.01). In the subgroup analysis according to histology types, pooled results demonstrated that an increased PD-L1 expression was an unfavorable prognostic factor for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(HR=1.92, 95% CI: 1.06–3.48, P=0.03) but not for natural killer/T-cell lymphoma(HR=2.41, 95%CI: 0.47–12.22, P=0.29). Pooled ORs indicated that PD-L1 expression was higher in NHL with international prognostic indices of≥3. However, PD-L1 expression had no correlation with gender, age, disease stage, lactate dehydrogenase level, B symptoms, and germinal center B-cell-like lymphoma.Conclusions: High PD-L1 expression was a poor prognostic biomarker in patients with NHL. 9Clinical factors associated with composition of lung microbiota and important taxa predicting clinical prognosis in patients with severe community-acquired pneumonia显示文摘Few studies have described the key features and prognostic roles of lung microbiota in patients with severe community-acquired pneumonia(SCAP).We prospectively enrolled consecutive SCAP patients admitted to ICU.Bronchoscopy was performed at bedside within 48 h of ICU admission,and 16S rRNA gene sequencing was applied to the collected bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.The primary outcome was clinical improvements defined as a decrease of 2 categories and above on a 7-category ordinal scale within 14 days following bronchoscopy.Sixty-seven patients were included.Multivariable permutational multivariate analysis of variance found that positive bacteria lab test results had the strongest independent association with lung microbiota(R2=0.033;P=0.018),followed by acute kidney injury(AKI;R2=0.032;P=0.011)and plasma MIP-1βlevel(R2=0.027;P=0.044).Random forest identified that the families Prevotellaceae,Moraxellaceae,and Staphylococcaceae were the biomarkers related to the positive bacteria lab test results.Multivariable Cox regression showed that the increase inα-diversity and the abundance of the families Prevotellaceae and Actinomycetaceae were associated with clinical improvements.The positive bacteria lab test results,AKI,and plasma MIP-1βlevel were associated with patients’lung microbiota composition on ICU admission.The families Prevotellaceae and Actinomycetaceae on admission predicted clinical improvements.Sisi Du Xiaojing Wu Binbin Li Yimin Wang Lianhan Shang Xu Huang Yudi Xia Donghao Yu Naicong Lu Zhibo Liu Chunlei Wang Xinmeng Liu Zhujia Xiong Xiaohui Zou Binghuai Lu Yingmei Liu Qingyuan Zhan Bin Cao 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,3:2
10Analysis of Meteorological Condition for Infection of the Pathogen of Tobacco Brown Spot (Alternaria alternate)显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to understand the suitable meteorological indexes and key meteorological factors for infection and prevalence of tobacco brown spot. [Method] Tobacco brown spot disease in five topical mountainous climatic areas of Guizhou Province was investigated, and the difference of biological characteristics of different strains was analyzed indoor. Different meteorological conditions (light, temperature and humidity) were simulated in artificial climate box by using the uniform design method , and the difference of infection ability of Alternaria alternate in different climate zones was analyzed in leaves in vitro by hanging drop method. [Result] The infection rate of A. alternate in different climate zones of Guizhou Province showed certain difference. In low temperature and middle humidity (the humidity is 50%-60%, the temperature is 10-20 ℃) conditions, the pathogen could infect tobacco leaves, various strains had certain difference, but the difference was small. 11Enhanced energy storage performance under low electric field in Sm^(3+) doped AgNbO_(3) ceramics显示文摘Herein,Ag_(1-3x)Sm_(x)NbO_(3)(0≤x≤0.025)antiferroelectric ceramics were successfully synthesized by solid state methods.The effect of Sm 3þdoping on the structure,property and energy storage performance were studied.With the increasing Sm^(3+)concentrations,the average grain size decreased.Meanwhile,the stability of high temperature M phases(i.e.,the structure between T_(f) and T_(3))was expanded,which led to low loss for energy storage.Both of structure analysis and ferroelectric tests revealed the existence of weakly polar/AFE-like phase below T_(f).The Sm 3þdoping tended to suppress the ferroelectric behavior and expand the stability of antiferroelectricity.Consequently,a significantly enhanced energy storage performance(W_(rec)=3.8 J/cm^(3),η=73%)could be achieved in Ag_(0.97)Sm_(0.01)NbO_(3) ceramic,which was almost 1.5 times larger than that in non-doped AgNbO_(3)(W_(rec)=2.4 J/cm^(3),η=45%)under the similar applied field of 1705 kV/cm±.In particular,the performance of the ceramic showed great temperature stability with variation of±5%from 25℃ to 125℃.These results indicated that the Ag_(0.97)Sm_(0.01)NbO_(3) ceramic could be an ideal lead-free candidate used in the energy storage field.Jing Li Li Jin Ye Tian Chao Chen Yu Lan Qingyuan Hu Chao Li Xiaoyong Wei Haixue Yan 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,2:1

15A systematic analysis of the radial resonance frequency spectra of the PZT-based (Zr/Ti=52/48) piezoceramic thin disks显示文摘In this paper,both the ID radial mode and the equivalent circuit of a piezoceramic disk resonator were theoretically analyzed based on IEEE standards.And then,the radial resonance frequency spectra of the PZT-based(Nb/Ce co-doped Pb(Zro.s2Ti0.48)O3,abbreviated as PZT-NC)piezoceramic circular disks were measured by an impedance analyzer.A set of resonance frequency spectra including six electrical parameters:Z,R,X,Y,G,and B,were used for making a value distinction between three possible resonance frequencies,and between three possible antiresonance frequencies.A new-form Nyquist diagram was depicted to describe the position relations of these characteristic frequencies.Such a complete resonance frequency spectrum was used to perform the accurate calculation of some material constants and electromechanical coupling parameters for the PZT-NC piezoceramics.Further,the frequency dependence of the AC conductive behavior of the specimen was characterized by the complex impedance measurement.The values of AC conductivity at resonance/antiresonance were deduced from the equivalent circuit parameters.Moreover,the Van Dyke circuit model was assigned to each element contribution and the simulated curves showed a nice fitting with the experimental results.Finally,an additional impedance analysis associated with resonance frequency calculation revealed a complicated coupled vibration mode existing in the annular disk specimen.Yu CHEN Shaozhao WANG Huajiang ZHOU Qian XU Qingyuan WANG Jianguo ZHU 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,3:1

17Precursor compound enabled formation of aqueous-phase CdSe magic-size clusters at room temperature显示文摘The formation pathway of aqueous-phase colloidal semiconductor magic-size clusters(MSCs)remains unrevealed.In the present work,we demonstrate,for the first time,a precursor compound(PC)-enabled formation pathway of aqueous-phase CdSe MSCs exhibiting a sharp absorption peaking at about 420 nm(MSC-420).The CdSe MSC-420 is synthesized with CdCl2 and selenourea as the respective Cd and Se sources,and with 3-mercaptopropionic acid or L-cysteine as a ligand.Absorption featureless CdSe PCs form first in the aqueous reaction batches,which transform to MSC-420 in the presence of primary amines.The coordination between primary amine and Cd^(2+)on PCs may be responsible to the PC-to-MSC transformation.Upon increasing the reactant concentrations or decreasing the CdCl_(2)-ligand feed molar ratios,the Cd precursor self-assembles into large aggregates,which may encapsulate the resulting CdSe PCs and inhibit their transformation to MSC-420.The present study sheds essential light on the syntheses and formation mechanisms of nanocrystals.Min Zhao Qingyuan Chen Yongcheng Zhu Yuehui Liu Chunchun Zhang Gang Jiang Meng Zhang Kui Yu 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:1

19Electric Current-induced Failure of 200-nm-thick Gold Interconnects显示文摘200-nm-thick Au interconnects on a quartz substrate were tested in-situ inside a dual-beam microscope by applying direct current,alternating current and alternating current with a small direct current component. 20Ion energy-induced nanoclustering structure in a-C:H film for achieving robust superlubricity in vacuum显示文摘Hydrogenated amorphous carbon(a-C:H)films are capable of providing excellent superlubricating properties,which have great potential serving as self-lubricating protective layer for mechanical systems in extreme working conditions.However,it is still a huge challenge to develop a-C:H films capable of achieving robust superlubricity state in vacuum.The main obstacle derives from the lack of knowledge on the influencing mechanism of deposition parameters on the films bonding structure and its relation to their self-lubrication performance.Aiming at finding the optimized deposition energy and revealing its influencing mechanism on superlubricity,a series of highly-hydrogenated a-C:H films were synthesized with appropriate ion energy,and systematic tribological experiments and structural characterization were conducted.The results highlight the pivotal role of ion energy on film composition,nanoclustering structure,and bonding state,which determine mechanical properties of highly-hydrogenated a-C:H films and surface passivation ability and hence their superlubricity performance in vacuum.The optimized superlubricity performance with the lowest friction coefficient of 0.006 coupled with the lowest wear rate emerges when the carbon ion energy is just beyond the penetration threshold of subplantation.The combined growth process of surface chemisorption and subsurface implantation is the key for a-C:H films to acquire stiff nanoclustering network and high volume of hydrogen incorporation,which enables a robust near-frictionless sliding surface.These findings can provide a guidance towards a more effective manipulation of self-lubricating a-C:H films for space application.Qingyuan YU Xinchun CHEN Chenhui ZHANG Chenxi ZHANG Wenli DENG Yinhui WANG Jianxun XU Wei QI 2022Friction2022,10,12:0
