1Fatigue behavior of Ti-6Al-4V cellular structures fabricated by additive manufacturing technique显示文摘Porous titanium and its alloys have been considered as promising replacement for dense implants, as they possess low elastic modulus comparable to that of compact human bones and are capable of providing space for in-growth of bony tissues to achieve a better fixation. Recently, the additive manufacturing(AM) method has been successfully applied to the fabrication of Ti-6 Al-4 V cellular meshes and foams.Comparing to traditional fabrication methods, the AM method offers advantages of accurate control of complex cell shapes and internal pore architectures, thus attracting extensive attention. Considering the long-term safety in the human body, the metallic cellular structures should possess high fatigue strength.In this paper, the recent progress on the fatigue properties of Ti-6 Al-4 V cellular structures fabricated by the AM technique is reviewed. 3Variations of the alpine precipitation from an ice core record of the Laohugou glacier basin during 1960-2006 in western Qilian Mountains, China显示文摘The net accumulation record of ice core is one of the most reliable indicators for reconstructing precipitation changes in high mountains.A 20.12 m ice core was drilled in 2006 from the accumulation zone of Laohugou Glacier No.12 in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau,China.We obtained the precipitation from the ice core net accumulation during 1960-2006,and found out the relationship between Laohugou ice core record and other data from surrounding sites of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau.Results showed that during 1960-2006,the precipitation in the high mountains showed firstly an increasing trend,while during 1980 to 2006 it showed an obvious decreasing trend.Reconstructed precipitation change in the Laohugou glacier basin was consistent with the measured data from the nearby weather stations in the lower mountain of Subei,and the correlation coefficient was 0.619(P<0.001).However,the precipitation in the high mountain was about 3 times more than that of the lower mountain.The precipitation in Laohugou Glacier No.12 of the western Qilian Mountains corresponded well to the net accumulation of Dunde ice core during the same period,tree-ring reconstructed precipitation,the measured data of multiple meteorological stations in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau,and also the changes of adjacent PDSI drought index.Precipitation changes of the Laohugou glacier basin and other sites of the northeastern Tibetan Plateau had significantly positive correlation with ENSO,which implied that the regional alpine precipitation change was very likely to be influenced by ENSO.QIN Xiang CUI Xiaoqing DU Wentao DONG Zhiwen REN Jiawen CHEN Jizu 2015Journal of Geographical Sciences2015,25,2:6
4Water-trapping and drag-reduction effects of fish Ctenopharyngodon idellus scales and their simulations显示文摘In the last decades, surface drag reduction has been re-emphasized because of its practical values in engineering applications,including vehicles, aircrafts, ships, and fuel pipelines. The bionic study of drag reduction has been attracting scholars' attentions. Here, it was determined that the delicate microstructures on the scales of the fish Ctenopharyngodon idellus exhibit remarkable drag-reduction effect. In addition, the underlying drag-reduction mechanism was carefully investigated. First,exceptional morphologies and structures of the scales were observed and measured using a scanning electron microscope and3-dimensional(3D) microscope. Then, based on the acquired data, optimized 3D models were created. Next, the mechanism of the water-trapping effect of these structures was analyzed through numerical simulations and theoretical calculations. It was determined that there are many microcrescent units with certain distributions on its surface. In fact, these crescents are effective in generating the 'water-trapping' effect and forming a fluid-lubrication film, thus reducing the skin friction drag effectively.Contrasting to a smooth surface, the dynamics finite-element analysis indicated that the maximum drag-reduction rate of a bionic surface is 3.014% at 0.66 m/s flow rate. 5Mechanical properties and influence mechanism of confined concrete arches in high-stress tunnels显示文摘Deep underground projects(e.g., coal mines), are often faced with complex conditions such as high stress and extremely soft rock. The strength and rigidity of the traditional support system are often insufficient,which makes it difficult to meet the requirements of ground control under complex conditions. As a new support form with high strength and rigidity, the confined concrete arch plays an important role in controlling the rock deformation under complex conditions. The section shape of the tunnel has an important impact on the mechanical properties and design of the support system. However, studies on the mechanical properties and influence mechanism of the new confined concrete arch are rarely reported. To this end, the mechanical properties of traditional U-shaped steel and new confined concrete arches are compared and comparative tests on arches of circular and straight-leg semicircular shapes in deep tunnels are conducted. A large mechanical testing system for underground engineering support structure is developed. The mechanical properties and influence mechanism of confined concrete arches with different section shapes under different loading modes and cross-section parameters are systematically studied. Test results show that the bearing capacity of the confined concrete arch is 2.10 times that of the U-shaped steel arch, and the bearing capacity of the circular confined concrete arch is 2.27 times that of the straight-leg semicircular arch. Among the various influencing factors and their engineering parameters,the lateral stress coefficient has the greatest impact on the bearing capacity of the confined concrete arch,followed by the steel pipe wall thickness, steel strength, and core concrete strength. Subsequently, the economic index of bearing capacity and cost is established, and the optimization design method for the confined concrete arch is proposed. 6Multistage strain-hardening behavior of ultrastrong and ductile lightweight refractory complex-concentrated alloys显示文摘Lightweight high-entropy alloys or complex-concentrated alloys have demonstrated great potential for engineering applications due to their high strength and lightweight.However,a weak strain-hardening ability and a limited tensile ductility remain their major hindrance.Here,a multistage strain-hardening effect is developed to ensure a high strength and still a sufficient ductility in a rolled and annealed(Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14))_(98.5)Mo_(1.5)(at.%)lightweight refractory complex-concentrated alloy(M1.5A-LRCCA).This multistage strain-hardening behavior is related to the microstructure and the corresponding initial aver-age dislocation density and distribution by comparison with rolled and annealed Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14)(M0-LRCCA)and as-cast(Ti_(44)V_(28)Zr_(14)Nb_(14))_(98.5)Mo_(1.5)(M1.5C-LRCCA).The microstructure,with homogeneously distributed submicron precipitations,a moderate initial average dislocation density,and uniform disloca-tion distribution(e.g.,M1.5A-LRCCA),is susceptible to producing various deformation substructures,such as dislocation substructures(slip bands,Taylor lattices,microbands,DDWs),shear bands,and deformation twins,which results in the multistage strain-hardening behavior.This method of achieving multistage strain hardening behavior through a microstructure modulation is significant for engineering applications of lightweight high-entropy alloys or complex-concentrated alloys,and it might be extended to other lightweight and high-strength alloys.Yuefei Jia Chang Ren Shiwei Wu Yongkun Mu Long Xu Yandong Jia Wentao Yan Jun Yi Gang Wang 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,18:1

13Enhancing the sensitivity of crack-based strain sensor assembled by functionalized graphene for human motion detection显示文摘Human motion detection needs sensors with flexibility,high sensitivity and linearity.However,conventional strain sensors are rigid and not suitable for human motion detection applications.Graphene-based strain sensors can overcome the above challenges but currently are still in the infancy of their development.In this work,properties of graphene-based crack-type strain sensors are investigated and guidelines to improve the sensitivity of graphene films as sensing elements are developed.First,it is found that the pre-strains influences the crack morphology and density,which further results in different sensor sensitivities and linearity.Second,the graphene film thickness influences the crack density due to the sliding between graphene layers;namely,a thinner graphene film with more cracks exhibits higher sensitivity.Third,the substrate influences the bonding strength with the graphene film,leading to different crack formations,which results in adjusted sensitivity.The cracks on PDMS are channel cracks while those on epoxy are isolated short cracks.The channel cracks are preferred to cause high sensitivity while the isolated short cracks hardly have a blocking effect on the current transport.Finally,the optimized graphene strain sensors are used to detect various human motions and exhibit high sensitivity.HUANG YueHua XIANG Yi REN WenTao LI FengJi LI ChuanCheng YANG TingTing 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,8:0

15同时性原发直肠癌和肺癌一例报告(英文)显示文摘Multiple primary cancers refer to the condition where more than two cancers occur independently in an individual. The incidence of lung cancer in cases of colorectal cancer is rare and synchronous rectal cancer and lung cancer is even rare. A 61-year-old man was referred to our hospital with a 2-month history of blood in his stool, tenesmus, and mucous discharge in July 2010. Colonoscopy showed an irregular ulcerated rectal mass and histological examination of biopsy material showed a poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma. Computed tomography (CT) scan of the chest and abdomen showed a mass in the posterior segment of the right upper lobe of the lung and a mass in the right rectal wall of upper rectum. The rectal tumor was diagnosed as primary cancer based on the findings of immunohistochemical stain. An anterior resection (AR) and video assisted thoracoscopic (VAT) wedge resection were performed and histological findings of resected rectal and lung tumor specimen showed synchronous primary rectal cancer and lung cancer. A combination chemotherapy regimen with docetaxel and lobaplatin was used and the patient was successfully discharged from hospital in August 2010. Although the incidence of synchronous multiple primary cancers is very low, we need to remain suspicious, when faced with two or even multiple organ lesions, and employ the necessary examination methods to confirm the diagnosis. 16The Nonlinear Coupling of Oscillating Bubble and Floating Body with Circular Hole显示文摘The fluid-structure interaction of the oscillating bubble and floating body with circular hole is essentially the nonlinear coupling problem among the incomplete movable boundary,free surface and bubble.This problem is particularly complicated in bubble dynamics.Combined with the volume of fluid method,the Eulerian finite element method is employed to deal with the fluid movement.Based on the improved penalty immersed boundary method,the transient axisymmetric numerical model is established in this paper,considering the fluid-structure interaction effect.The results of simulation are consistent with those of the electric discharge bubble experiment and explosion experiment.Subsequently,considering the influence of the hole size,floating body density,explosive location,and buoyancy,this complex fluid-structure interaction problem is analyzed systematically.Through numerical simulation,we get some new conclusions.When the radius of the hole Rh less than the maximum radius of the oscillating bubble,the changes in the whole system are incredibly intense,and the free surface crushing will emerge.The energy of the bubble acts more on the radial direction of the floating body,when the explosive location parameter is small.When the floating body has the same density as the water,the multiple spike skirt is displayed vividly.And the buoyancy of fluid can produce a lifting effect on the floating body.Ming He Yunlong Liu Shaofei Ren Wentao Liu 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,6:0

19Medium-range order endows a bulk metallic glass with enhanced tensile ductility显示文摘Developing ductile bulk metallic glasses(BMGs)can benefit from an in-depth understanding of the structure-property relation during plastic deformation.However,endowing BMGs with tensile ductility in BMGs needs to reveal the response of critical structure units during deformation.Here,we report the experimental results of an in-situ synchrotron high-energy X-ray study of a Zr-based BMG under uniaxial tension after preprocessing by canning compression of the three-dimensional compressive stress state.It is revealed that the canning-compressed BMG(CC-BMG)sample has better tensile ductility and higher ultimate strength than the as-cast sample,which possesses heterogeneous and loosely packed local struc-tures on medium-range scales.The experimental results revealed two stages of plastic deformation in the CC-BMGs compared with one stage of plastic deformation in the as-cast BMG.Moreover,the shift in the first sharp diffraction peak along the tension direction for the canning-compressed sample is substan-tially more pronounced than that of the as-cast sample.Furthermore,the real-space analysis illustrates a competition mechanism between the 2-atom and 3-atom connection modes on medium-range order during the plastic deformation of the CC-BMG.Additionally,the ordering on the medium-range scale de-creases in the first plastic deformation stage but increases in the second plastic deformation stage.There-fore,a structural crossover phenomenon occurs in the CC-BMG during plastic deformation.Our results demonstrate a structure-property correlation for the CC-BMGs of heterogeneous medium-range ordered structures,which may be beneficial for endowing BMGs with ductility based on medium-range order engineering techniques.Sinan Liu Weixia Dong Zhiqiang Ren Jiacheng Ge Shu Fu Zhenduo Wu Jing Wu Yu Lou Wentao Zhang Huaican Chen Wen Yin Yang Ren Joerg Neuefeind Zesheng You Ying Liu Xun-Li Wang Si Lan 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,28:0
