| 2 | Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis of reinitiation into methamphetamine abusers: qualitative findings from an exploration of methamphetamine abusers in Shanghai, China显示文摘Background Despite high relapse rate among methamphetamine (MA) abusers, there still have been little empirical data to date detecting the risk factors related to craving and relapse from the perspective of MA abusers. Therefore, the aim of this study was to use qualitative research methods exploring the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat factors that could facilitate or impede individuals' abstinence in a real-life context from the perspectives of MA abusers. Aim To use qualitative research methods exploring the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threat factors relating to individuals' abstinence in a real-life context. Method Semistructured interviews were conducted with 32 MA abusers recruited in Shanghai guided by open-ended questions on narrating the real-life catalysts and inhibitors related to craving, initiation, relapse and abstinence. All data were transcribed verbatim and analysed using a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis. Results The results of the SWOT analysis revealed that contextual factors including peer influence, prevalence and availability of MA, familiar venue of MA use, discrimination, sexual behaviours, alcohol, emotional states and their attitudes towards smoking MA were important factors that contribute to reinitiation and relapse. Surveillance systems, antidrug social workers, vocational skills trainings, moving to another city and family responsibility might serve as counter measures targeti叩 those mentioned weaknesses and threats above. Conclusion This SWOT analysis highlights the complex nature of relapse. | 4 | 3.6 W compact all-fiber Pr3+-doped green laser at 521 nm显示文摘Green semiconductor lasers are still undeveloped,so high-power green lasers have heavily relied on nonlinear frequency conversion of near-infrared lasers,precluding compact and low-cost green laser systems.Here,we report the first Watt-level all-fiber CW Pr3t-doped laser operating directly in the green spectral region,addressing the aforementioned difficulties.The compact all-fiber laser consists of a double-clad Pr3t-doped fluoride fiber,two homemade fiber dichroic mirrors at visible wavelengths,and a 443-nm fiber-pigtailed pump source.Benefitting from>10 MW∕cm2 high damage intensity of our designed fiber dielectric mirror,the green laser can stably deliver 3.62-W of continuous-wave power at∼521 nm with a slope efficiency of 20.9%.To the best of our knowledge,this is the largest output power directly from green fiber lasers,which is one order higher than previously reported.Moreover,these green all-fiber laser designs are optimized by using experiments and numerical simulations.Numerical results are in excellent agreement with our experimental results and show that the optimal gain fiber length,output mirror reflectivity,and doping level should be considered to obtain higher power and efficiency.This work may pave a path toward compact high-power green all-fiber lasers for applications in biomedicine,laser display,underwater detection,and spectroscopy. | Jinhai Zou Jinfen Hong Zhuang Zhao Qingyuan Li Qiujun Ruan Hang Wang Yikun Bu Xianchao Guan Min Zhou Zhiyong Feng Zhengqian Luo | 2022 | Advanced Photonics2022,4,5: | 2 |

| 6 | Pore Pressure Accumulation of Anisotropically Consolidated Soft Clay Subjected to Complex Loads Under Different Stress Paths显示文摘Owing to different influence factors of foundation soil,the initial stress state of the soil under various working conditions is complex.To simulate this situation,in this paper,a series of tests on undisturbed soft clay under pure principal stress axis rotation were carried out by using the hollow cylinder apparatus(HCA).The influence of initial consolidation angle ζ(the angle between the vertical direction and direction of the applied load in consolidation)and intermediate principal stress coefficient b on pore water pressure accumulation of undisturbed soft clay were mainly studied.The test results show that,during pure principal stress axis rotation,the pore water pressure accumulation of the undisturbed soft clay fluctuates and increases with the rotation of the major principal stress;the values of major principal stress anglesα,corresponding to the peak value of the pore water pressure in a certain cycle,are different with different initial consolidation angles;the pore water pressure accumulation of soft clay is greatly affected by the intermediate principal stress coefficient b.With the fixed initial consolidation angle ζ,the variation trend of the maximum pore water pressure for each cycle is appropriately the same with different b values.With the increase of cycles,the difference value of pore water pressure between b=0 and b=1 in each cycle increases gradually with different initial consolidation angles ζ.While with different initial consolidation anglesζ,the increase of the pore water pressure when b increases from 0 to 0.5 is different with that when b increases from 0.5 to 1;the variation of maximum pore water pressure withζis significantly affected by the value of b;the value of maximum pore water pressure increases with the cycle number increases under all test conditions,but the growth rate decreases gradually.And the variation of maximum pore water pressure with the cycle number N is obviously influenced by both ζ and b. | WANG Yu-ke WAN Yong-shuai RUAN Hang YU Xiang SHAO Jing-gan REN De-bo | 2021 | China Ocean Engineering2021,35,3: | 1 |

| 10 | Sinc interpolation based method for compensation of ionospheric dispersion effects on BOC signals with high subcarrier rate显示文摘Binary Offset Carrier(BOC) signals with high subcarrier rate such as Alt BOC(15,10) and cosBOC(15,2.5) have been adopted for the next generation of Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) to make full use of the allocated spectrum. However, the two main lobes of the BOC signals are tremendously separated in the frequency spectrum and the group delay of the two lobes are greatly dispersed due to ionospheric dispersion. The signals will suffer extremely severe distortion caused by the group delay dispersion including waveform ripples, power losses and correlation function asymmetries. In this paper, a novel time domain sinc interpolation based ionospheric dispersion compensation method is proposed to eliminate the distortion to the BOC signals.Firstly, the time domain model of BOC signal under the dispersive ionosphere is developed. Afterwards, based on the model, the two signal main lobes are aligned by sinc interpolation so that the ionospheric dispersion effects are almost mitigated. Taking Galileo E5 Alt BOC(15,10) signal as an example, the performance of the proposed method is evaluated by simulation and test. | 12 | Floor positioning method indoors with smartphone’s barometer显示文摘This paper presents an indoor floor positioning method with the smartphone’s barometer for the purpose of solving the problem of low availability and high environmental dependence of the traditional floor positioning technology.First,an initial floor position algorithm with the“entering”detection algorithm has been obtained.Second,the user’s going upstairs or downstairs activities are identified by the characteristics of the air pressure fluctuation.Third,the moving distance in the vertical direction and the floor change during going upstairs or downstairs are estimated to obtain the accurate floor position.In order to solve the problem of the floor misjudgment from different mobile phone’s barometers,this paper calculates the pressure data from the different cell phones,and effectively reduce the errors of the air pressure estimating the elevation which is caused by the heterogeneity of the mobile phones.The experiment results show that the average correct rate of the floor identification is more than 85%for three types of the cell phones while reducing environmental dependence and improving availability.Further,this paper compares and analyzes the three common floor location methods–the WLAN Floor Location(WFL)method based on the fingerprint,the Neural Network Floor Location(NFL)methods,and the Magnetic Floor Location(MFL)method with our method.The experiment results achieve 94.2%correct rate of the floor identification with Huawei mate10 Pro mobile phone. | Min Yu Feng Xue Chao Ruan Hang Guo | 2019 | Geo-Spatial Information Science2019,22,2: | 1 |

| 19 | Lipids-induced Apoptosis Is Aggravated by Acyl-coenzyme A:Cholesterol Acyltransferase Inhibitor显示文摘Objective To investigate the role of acyl-coenzyme A:cholesterol acyltransferase inhibitor(ACATI) in apoptosis induced by lipids and whether lipids-induced apoptosis is accompanied by increase of free cholesterol in endoplasmic reticulum(ER),in order to further understand the mechanism of lipids-induced apoptosis in advanced atherosclerosis.Methods Human vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) and phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate(PMA) differentiated THP-1 macrophages were used.Tritiated thymidine incorporation was applied to detect cell proliferation.Cytotoxicity was assessed by lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) release.4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI) staining,caspase-3,-7 assay,and Annexin-V/propidium iodide(PI) staining were used to detect apoptosis.High performance liquid chromatography was used in intracellular free cholesterol and cholesterol ester assay.ER free cholesterol was quantified.Results Different lipids had different effects on proliferation and cytotoxicity of VSMCs.25-hydroxycholesterol(25OHC) had biphasic effects on the proliferation of VSMCs.At low concentration,it stimulated cell proliferation,but turned to proliferation inhibition as concentration reached 15 μg/mL.25OHC and acetylated low density lipoprotein(AcLDL) could respectively induce apoptosis in human VSMCs and PMA differentiated THP-1 macrophages,which was aggravated by ACATI,accompanied by increase of intracellular free cholesterol content.There was also an increase of cholesterol content in ER with AcLDL-induced apoptosis in THP-1 macrophages.Conclusions Lipids could induce apoptosis,accompanied by increase of intracellular free cholesterol content,which could be augmented by ACATI,suggesting that insults resulting in ER free cholesterol rise might be the initiator of apoptosis. | Jian-ling Tao Xiong-zhong Ruan Hang Li Xue-mei Li Xue-wang Li | 2010 | Chinese Medical Sciences Journal2010,25,2: | 0 |
