1Climate and litter C/N ratio constrain soil organic carbon accumulation显示文摘Soil organic carbon(SOC) plays critical roles in stabilizing atmospheric CO2 concentration, but the mechanistic controls on the amount and distribution of SOC on global scales are not well understood. In turn, this has hampered the ability to model global C budgets and to find measures to mitigate climate change. Here, based on the data from a large field survey campaign with 2600 plots across China’s forest ecosystems and a global collection of published data from forested land, we find that a low litter carbon-to-nitrogen ratio(C/N) and high wetness index(P/PET, precipitation-to-potentialevapotranspiration ratio) are the two factors that promote SOC accumulation, with only minor contributions of litter quantity and soil texture. The field survey data demonstrated that high plant diversity decreased litter C/N and thus indirectly promoted SOC accumulation by increasing the litter quality. We conclude that any changes in plant-community composition, plant-species richness and environmental factors that can reduce the litter C/N ratio, or climatic changes that increase wetness index, may promote SOC accumulation. 2Age of Anzishan granulites in the Mianxian-Lueyang suture zone of Qingling orogen:With a discussion of the timing of final assembly of Yangtze and North China craton blocks显示文摘Many granulite blocks have been recently dis-covered in the Anzishan area, Mianxian County, ShaanxiProvince, in the central segment of the Manxian-Lueyangsuturc zone. Sm-Nd isochron and 40 Ar39 Ar ages of mineralsamples of granulites from this area are reported in the note.The granulite mineral samples give a Sm-Nd isochron age oft=(206 ± 55) Ma (2σ), with INd = 0.51302±7(2σ) and MSWD =1.6, and a biotite 40Ar/39 Ar plateau age of (199.7±l.7) Ma(2σ). 3Geochronology of the Hannan intrusive complex to adjoin the Qinling orogen and its rapid cooling reason显示文摘The geochronological works for the Hannan intrusive complex, cosisting of the gabbro-quartz dio-rite-plagiogranite bodies, in the north border of the Yangtze craton block, adjoining the Qinling orogen, are reported, because its age and genesis are of great importance to research of the tectonic evalutional history for the Qinling orogen and of the rifted processes for the Late Proterozoic supercontinent Rodinia. A good isochron of t=(837±26) Ma (2σ), corresponding to INd=0.51165±2(2σ), εNd(t)=+1.9, MSWD1.02, was difined by the Nd isotopic analytical results for the 21 whole-rock samples from the varied lithological complex bodies, but for the Rb-Sr isotopic aralytical data there is no isochron. 4Synthesis and evaluation of a paclitaxel-binding polymeric micelle for efficient breast cancer therapy显示文摘Paclitaxel(PTX) is one of the most effective anticancer drugs for the treatment of various solid tumors, but its clinical use is limited by its poor solubility, low bioavailability, and severe systemic toxicity. Encapsulation of PTX in polymeric nanoparticles is used to overcome these problems but these micelles still need improvements in stability, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic efficacy, and safety profiles. In this study, we demonstrate a facile fabrication of a stable PTX-binding micelle made from poly(ethylene glycol)-block-dendritic polylysine, whose primary amines were reacted with phenethyl isothiocyanate(PEITC), a hydrophobic anticancer agent under clinical study. The amphiphilic conjugate(PEG-Gx-PEITC; Gx, the generation of the polylysine dendron) formed well-defined micelles whose core was composed of phenyl groups and thiourea groups binding PTX via π-π stacking and hydrogen bonding. Compared with the PTX-loaded poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(D,L-lactide)(PEGPDLLA/PTX) micelles in clinical use, PTX-loaded PEG-Gx-PEITC third-generation(PEG-G3-PEITC/PTX) micelles showed slowed blood clearance, enhanced tumor accumulation, and thus much improved in vivo therapeutic efficacy in both subcutaneous and orthotopic human breast cancer xenografts. 7Enhanced chemical trapping and catalytic conversion of polysulfides by diatomite/MXene hybrid interlayer for stable Li-S batteries显示文摘Lithium-Sulfur (Li-S) batteries with high theoretical energy density are promising energy storage systems in the next decades, while the lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) shuttling caused by the sluggish sulfur redox reaction severely lowers the practical performance. The use of interlayer between the cathode and separator has been widely investigated to physically or chemically block the LiPSs, while the introduction of catalytic materials is a more effective strategy to accelerate the conversion of LiPSs. MXene with rich surface chemistry has shown its potential for facilitating the catalytic conversion, however, the aggregation of MXene sheets usually leads to the loss of the catalytic active sites. Herein, we report a diatomite/MXene (DE/MX) hybrid material as the bifunctional interlayer for improving the adsorption/conversion of LiPSs in Li-S batteries. The diatomite with porous structure and rich silica-hydroxyl functional groups could trap LiPSs effectively, while prevent the aggregation of MXene. The DE/MX based interlayer showed bifunctions of enhancing the chemical adsorption and promoting the conversion of LiPSs. The Li-S batteries with the DE/MX interlayer delivered an improved cycling stability with a low capacity decay of 0.059% per cycle over 1000 cycles at 1.0 C. Moreover, stable 200 cycles can be realized with a high sulfur loading electrode up to 6.0 mg cm^(−2). 10Unravelling the precipitation evolutions of AZ80 magnesium alloy during non-isothermal and isothermal processes显示文摘The precipitation evolutions of Mg-Al-Zn alloys play essential roles in their mechanical properties,corrosion performance,formability,plastic deformation mechanisms and texture development.In the present work,the precipitation evolutions of AZ80 magnesium alloy during both non-isothermal and isothermal processes were unraveled by utilizing in situ electrical resistivity monitoring,hardness testing,differential scanning calorimetry and microstructural characterization.The results showed that discontinuous precipitation(DP)and continuous precipitation(CP)occurred competitively during non-isothermal and isothermal processes.The precipitation of dominantβ-Mg17 Al12 phase during non-isothermal processes was highly dependent on the thermal history.During isothermal processes,the precipitation behavior of AZ80 magnesium alloy could be considered as the functions of holding temperature and time.At lower temperatures,massive DP and CP were gradually formed to equally strengthen the alloy.At higher temperatures,the Ostwald coarsening was characterized in the later stages and indicated to slightly soften the alloy.Isothermal time-temperature-precipitation curves and quantitative precipitate evolution were estimated to unravel precipitation characteristics and their strengthening functions.Longqing Tang Guowei Bo Fulin Jiang Shiwei Xu Jie Teng Dingfa Fu Hui Zhang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,16:1
11Heavy atom-free triplet photosensitizer based on thermally activated delayed fluorescence material for NIR-to-blue triplet-triplet annihilation upconversion显示文摘Triplet-triplet annihilation(TTA) upconversion-based materials have potential application in the broad range of research areas, including photocatalysis and life sciences. However, near-infrared(NIR)-to-blue upconverted emission is preferred for most of the practical applications, but developing a NIR-to-blue TTA upconversion system is a challenging task in photochemistry. In this work, a thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF) material with intense visible-to-NIR absorption is demonstrated that shows a longer triplet state lifetime(32 μs) and high triplet state energy(E_(T)= 1.55 e V). For the first time, a heavy atomfree NIR(λ_(ex)> 650 nm) to blue(λ_(em)< 460 nm) TTA upconversion system was devised, employing the dimeric borondifluoride curcuminoid TADF material as triplet photosensitizer(PS) and a large anti-Stokes shift(0.88 e V) along with moderate upconversion yield was achieved. 12CALCULATION OF THREE DIMENSIONAL BOUNDARY LAYER EQUATIONS USING DIFFERENTIAL QUADRATURE METHOD显示文摘An extended differential quadrature method is used to compute nonlinear partial differential equations for tbree-dimensional laminar boundary layer now in this paPer. The key technique to differential quadrature, which is used in determining weighting coefficients for discretization of any order partial derivative, is investigated. The method of computing different weighting coefficients is presented. Three dimensional boundary layer equations are discretized by the differential quadrature method, and relative formula is obtained. 13Unraveling precipitation evolution and strengthening function of the Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys with various Zn contents:Multiple experiments and integrated internal-state-variable modeling显示文摘Zn content is one of the most concerned factors in the development of next generation ultra-strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys owing to its essential role in precipitation strengthening.In the present work,the underlying functions of Zn content in precipitation evolution and strengthening function of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys were systematically investigated by combining multiple experiments and an integrated internalstate-variable model.The experimental results indicated that the increased Zn content in Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys would promote the development of precipitates and enhance aging hardening.The diffusion flux of soluble Zn and the coordination of Mg atom controlled the crystallographic microstructures evolution during precipitates nucleation,growth and transition processes.By integrating precipitation development with electrical resistivity and hardness evolutions,an improved internal-state-variable physical model was then developed for the aging responses of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys.The unified model considered the intrinsic characteristics of precipitates such as crystallographic orientation,morphology,component,and distribution.The specific improvements were to balance the combined functions of Zn element and Mg element and consider the plate-like morphology and directed growth as indicated by experiments.This model was also adaptive to heat-treatment variables and chemical compositions,and owned the notable advantages to simultaneously rationalize the observed microstructural characteristics,mechanical and electrical properties following artificial aging of Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys.In addition,a preliminary model framework between electrical resistivity and hardness for Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys was established.Jie Tang Mingcai Liu Guowei Bo Fulin Jiang Chunhui Luo Jie Teng Dingfa Fu Hui Zhang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,21:0
14Allergic Phenotypes and Sarcopenia:Evidence from Observational Studies and Mendelian Randomization Analysis显示文摘Commonly afected in early-life population,the impact of allergic phenotypes on mid-or late-life health is less discussed.This study is to explore the association of allergic phenotypes including atopic dermatitis(AD),asthma,eosinophils count(EC),and sarcopenia.We conducted observational studies and mendelian randomization(MR)analysis based on UK Biobank(UKB),the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS)and data from genome-wide association study(GWAS).Based on the UKB data,AD,asthma and EC were positively correlated with pre-sarcopenia and decreased skeletal muscle mass index and hand grip in fully adjusted model.Asthma and EC were signifcantly associated with sarcopenia while AD was marginally associated(p=0.095).Based on the CHARLS cohort,asthma signifcantly added 109.4%risk for pre-sarcopenia in adjusted model(relative risk=2.094;p=0.002),respectively.Both asthma(β=0.100,p=0.006)and EC(β=0.023,p=0.017)exerted signifcantly casual efects on pre-sarcopenia.However,as for sarcopenia,merely EC exhibited a signifcantly casual efect(β=0.005,p=0.048).Signifcant casual efects of AD(β=–0.027,p=0.003),asthma(β=–0.029,p=0.027)and EC(β=–0.041,p<0.001)on decreased appendicular lean mass(ALM)were observed using the inverse-variance weighted method and the Mendelian randomization pleiotropy residual sum and outlier(MR-PRESSO)method.Our results revealed a contributory role of AD,asthma and EC on sarcopenia,especially in terms of decreased ALM,an indicator for sarcopenia diagnosis.The fndings of our study will raise the awareness of preventing aging-related disorders or geriatric syndromes among allergic populations.Zhenwei Tang Guowei Zhou Yi Xiao Hong Liu Xiang Chen Minxue Shen 2024Phenomics2024,4,1:0
15Exceptional points and enhanced nanoscale sensing with a plasmon-exciton hybrid system显示文摘Singularities in the spectra of open systems, known as exceptional points(EPs), have been shown to exhibit nontrivial topological properties and enhanced sensitivities. Here, we propose a novel approach to realize the EPs in a plasmon-exciton hybrid system and explore their applications in enhanced nanoscale sensing technology.We consider a plasmon-exciton system composed of a gold nanorod and a monolayer WSe_(2). By controlling the geometric parameters of the nano-hybrid system, we obtain simultaneous coalescence of the resonance frequencies and loss rates of the hybrid system, which is a unique feature of EPs. Numerical simulations show its application in enhanced nanoscale sensing for environmental refractive indices. 16Interfacial Characteristics and Formation Mechanisms of Copper–steel Multimaterial Structures Fabricated via Laser Powder Bed Fusion Using Different Building Strategies显示文摘Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)is an innovative method for manufacturing multimaterial components with high geometrical resolution.The LPBF-printing sequences of materials may be diverse in the actual design and application of multimaterial components.In this study,multimaterial copper(CuSn10)–steel(316 L)structures are printed using different building strategies(printing 316 L on CuSn10 and printing CuSn10 on 316 L)via LPBF,and the characteristics of two interfaces(the 316 L/CuSn10 or“L/C”and CuSn10/316 L or“C/L”interfaces)are investigated.Subsequently,the interfacial melting mode and formation mechanisms are discussed.At the L/C interface,the keyhole melting mode induced by the high volumetric energy density(EL/C=319.4 J/mm3)results in a large penetration depth in the pre-solidified layer and enhances laser energy absorption,thus promoting the extensive migration of materials and intense intermixing of elements to form a wide diffusion zone(∼400μm).At the C/L interface,the conduction mode induced by the low volumetric energy density(EC/L=74.1 J/mm3)results in a narrow diffusion zone(∼160μm).The interfacial defects observed are primarily cracks and pores.More cracks appeared at the C/L interface,which is attributable to the weak bonding strength of the narrow diffusion zone.This study provides guidance and reference for the design and manufacturing of multimaterial components via LPBF using different building strategies.Linqing Liu Di Wang Guowei Deng Yongqiang Yang Jie Chen Jinrong Tang Yonggang Wang Yang Liu Xusheng Yang Yicha Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering(Additive Manufacturing Frontiers)2022,1,3:0

18IHVFL: a privacy-enhanced intention-hiding vertical federated learning framework for medical data显示文摘Vertical Federated Learning(VFL)has many applications in the field of smart healthcare with excellent performance.However,current VFL systems usually primarily focus on the privacy protection during model training,while the preparation of training data receives little attention.In real-world applications,like smart healthcare,the process of the training data preparation may involve some participant's intention which could be privacy information for this partici-pant.To protect the privacy of the model training intention,we describe the idea of Intention-Hiding Vertical Feder-ated Learning(IHVFL)and illustrate a framework to achieve this privacy-preserving goal.First,we construct two secure screening protocols to enhance the privacy protection in feature engineering.Second,we implement the work of sample alignment bases on a novel private set intersection protocol.Finally,we use the logistic regression algorithm to demonstrate the process of IHVFL.Experiments show that our model can perform better efficiency(less than 5min)and accuracy(97%)on Breast Cancer medical dataset while maintaining the intention-hiding goal.Fei Tang Shikai Liang Guowei Ling Jinyong Shan 2024Cybersecurity2024,7,2:0
19Lithium-site substituted argyrodite-type Li_(6)PS_(5)I solid electrolytes with enhanced ionic conduction for all-solid-state batteries显示文摘Argyrodites,Li_(6)PS_(5)X(X=Cl,Br,I),have piqued the interest of researchers by offering promising lithium ionic conductivity for their application in all-solid-state batteries(ASSBs).However,other than Li_(6)PS_(5)Cl(651Cl)and Li_(6)PS_(5)Br(651Br),Li_(6)PS_(5)I(651I)shows poor ionic conductivity(10^(-7)S cm^(-1)at 298 K).Herein,we present Al-doped 651I with I^(-)/S^(2-)site disordering to lower activation energy(Ea)and improve ionic conductivity.They formed argyrodite-type solid solutions with a composition of(Li_(6–3x)Al_(x))PS_(5)I in 0≤x≤0.10,and structural analysis revealed that Al^(3+)is located at Li sites.Also,the Al-doped samples contained anion I^(-)/S^(2-)site disorders in the crystal structures and smaller lattice parameters than the non-doped samples.Impedance spectroscopy measurements indicated that Al-doping reduced the ionic diffusion barrier,Ea,and increased the ionic conductivity to 10^(-5)S cm^(-1);the(Li5.7Al0.1)PS5I had the highest ionic conductivity in the studied system,at 2.6×10^(-5)S cm^(-1).In a lab-scale ASSB,with(Li_(5.7)Al_(0.1))PS_(5)I functioned as a solid electrolyte,demonstrating the characteristics of a pure ionic conductor with negligible electronic conductivity.The evaluated ionic conduction is due to decreased Li+content and I^(-)/S^(2-)disorder formation.Li-site cation doping enables an in-depth understanding of the structure and provides an additional approach to designing betterperforming SEs in the argyrodite system.GAO Ling XIE YuLin TONG Yan XU Miao YOU JiaLe WEI HuiPing YU XiangXiang XU SiQi ZHANG Yi CHE Yong TANG Ya SUZUKI Kota KANNO Ryoji ZHAO GuoWei 2023Science China(Technological Sciences)2023,66,7:0
20Solution-based Preparation of High Sulfur Content Sulfur/Graphene Cathode Material for Li-S Battery显示文摘Practical Li-sulfur batteries require the high sulfur loading cathode to meet the large-capacity power demand of electrical equipment.However,the sulfur content in cathode materials is usually unsatisfactory due to the excessive use of carbon for improving the conductivity.Traditional cathode fabrication strategies can hardly realize both high sulfur content and homogeneous sulfur distribution without aggregation.Herein,we designed a cathode material with ultrahigh sulfur content of 88%(mass fraction)by uniformly distributing the water dispersible sulfur nanoparticles on three-dimensionally conductive graphene framework.The water processable fabrication can maximize the homogeneous contact between sulfur nanoparticles and graphene,improving the utilization of the interconnected conductive surface.The obtained cathode material showed a capacity of 500 mA·h/g after 500 cycles at 2.0 A/g with an areal loading of 2 mg/cm2.This strategy provides possibility for the mass production of high-performance electrode materials for high-capacity Li-S battery.ZHANG Chen LIU Donghai GENG Chuannan HUA Wuxing TANG Quanjun LING Guowei YANG Quan-Hong 2021Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2021,37,2:0
