| 2 | A comparative analysis of five global cropland datasets in China显示文摘Accurate information of cropland area and spatial location is critical for studies of national food security, global environmental change, terrestrial ecosystem geophysics and the geochemical cycle. In this paper, we compared five global cropland datasets in circa 2010 of China from in terms of cropland area and spatial location, including Global Land30, FROM-GLC, Glob Cover, MODIS Collection 5, and MODIS Cropland. The results showed that the accuracies of cropland area and spatial location of Globe Land30 were higher than the other four products. The cropland areas of the five products varied in most of the provinces. Compared with the statistical data, the best goodness of fit was obtained using Globe Land30, followed by MODIS Collection 5 and FROM-GLC, with MODIS Cropland and Glob Cover having the poorer accuracies. Regarding the spatial location of cropland, Globe Land30 achieved the best accuracy, followed by FROM-GLC and MODIS Collection 5, with Glob Cover and MODIS Cropland having the poorer accuracies. In addition, the spatial agreement of the five datasets was reduced from agricultural production area to pastoral area and significantly affected by elevation and slope factors. Although the spatial resolution of MODIS Collection 5 was the lowest, accuracies of the cropland area and spatial location were better than those of Glob Cover and MODIS Cropland. Therefore, high spatial resolution remote sensing images can help to improve the accuracy of the dataset during land cover mapping, while it is also important to select a suitable classification method. Furthermore, in northwestern and southeastern China, spectral mixing pixels are universal because of the complicated landscape and fragmentized topography and result in uncertainty and poor consistency when using the five products. | 6 | C:N:P stoichiometry of Ericaceae species in shrubland biomes across Southern China:influences of climate,soil and species identity显示文摘Aims Carbon(C),nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)stoichiometry strongly affect functions and nutrient cycling within ecosystems.However,the related researches in shrubs were very limited.In this study,we aimed to inves-tigate leaf stoichiometry and its driving factors in shrubs,and whether stoichiometry significantly differs among closely related species.Methods We analyzed leaf C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in 32 species of Ericaceae from 161 sites across southern China.We examined the relationships of leaf stoichiometry with environmen-tal variables using linear regressions,and quantified the interactive and independent effects of climate,soil and species on foliar stoi-chiometry using general linear models(GLM).Important Findings The foliar C,N and P contents of Ericaceae were 484.66,14.44 and 1.06 mg g−1,respectively.Leaf C,N and P concentrations and their ratios in Ericaceae were significantly related with latitude and altitude,except the N:P insignificantly correlated with latitude.Climate(mean annual temperature and precipitation)and soil properties(soil C,N and P and bulk density)were significantly influenced element stoichiom-etry.The GLM analysis showed that soil exerted a greater direct effect on leaf stoichiometry than climate did,and climate affected leaf traits mainly via indirect ways.Further,soil properties had stronger influ-ences on leaf P than on leaf C and N.Among all independent factors examined,we found species accounted for the largest proportion of the variation in foliar stoichiometry.These results suggest that species can largely influence foliar stoichiometry,even at a lower taxonomic level. | Qiang Zhang Qing Liu Huajun Yin Chunzhang Zhao Lin Zhang Guoying Zhou Chunying Yin Zhijun Lu Gaoming Xiong Yuelin Li Jiaxiang Li Wenting Xu Zhiyao Tang Zongqiang Xie | 2019 | Journal of Plant Ecology2019,12,2: | 4 |

| 17 | Hybrid post-processing effects of magnetic abrasive finishing and heat treatment on surface integrity and mechanical properties of additively manufactured Inconel 718 superalloys显示文摘Desired microstructure and surface integrity are critical to achieving the high performance of additively manufactured components.In the present work,the hybrid post-processes of magnetic abrasive finishing(MAF)and post-heat treatment(HT)were applied to the additively manufactured Inconel718 superalloys.Their hybrid effects and influencing mechanism on the surface quality and mechanical properties of the additively manufactured samples have been studied comparatively.The results show that the MAF process effectively reduces the surface roughness by more than an order of magnitude due to the flexibility and geometric consistency of the magnetic particles and abrasives with the finished surfaces.The proper sequence of MAF and HT obtains enhanced mechanical properties for the homogenized-MAF-aged sample with the yield strength of 1147 MPa,the ultimate tensile strength of 1334 MPa,and the elongation of 22.9%,which exceeds the standard wrought material.The surface integrity,compressive residual stress field,and grain refinement induced by the MAF and subsequent aging heat treatment increase the cracking resistance and delay the fracture failure,which significantly benefits the mechanical properties.The MAF process combined with proper post-heat treatment provides an effective pathway to improve the mechanical properties of additively manufactured materials. | Kun Li Ruijin Ma Ming Zhang Wen Chen Xiaobin Li David Z.Zhang Qian Tang Lawrence E.Murr Jinfeng Li Huajun Cao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33: | 1 |
