Efficacy and safety of the long-acting fusion inhibitor albuvirtide in antiretroviral-experienced adults with human immunodeficiency virus-1:interim analysis of the randomized, controlled, phase 3,non-inferiority TALENT study显示文摘Background:Albuvirtide is a once-weekly injectable human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-1 fusion inhibitor. We present interim data for a phase 3 trial assessing the safety and efficacy of albuvirtide plus lopinavir-ritonavir in HIV-1-infected adults already treated with antiretroviral drugs. Methods:We carried out a 48-week,randomized,controlled,open-label non-inferiority trial at 12 sites in China.Adults on the World Health Organization(WHO)-recommended first-line treatment for>6 months with a plasma viral load>1000 copies/mL were enrolled and randomly assigned(1:1)to receive albuvirtide(once weekly)plus ritonavir-boosted lopinavir(ABT group)or the WHO-recommended second-line treatment(NRTI group). The primary endpoint was the proportion of patients with a plasma viral load below 50 copies/mL at 48 weeks.Non-inferiority was prespecified with a margin of 12%.Results:At the time of analysis, week 24 data were available for 83 and 92 patients, and week 48 data were available for 46 and 50 patients in the albuvirtide and NRTI groups, respectively. At 48 weeks,80.4%of patients in the ABT group and 66.0%of those in the NRTI group had HIV-1 RNA levels below 50 copies/mL,meeting the criteria for non-inferiority.For the per-protocol population, the superiority of albuvirtide over NRTI was demonstrated. The frequency of grade 3 to 4 adverse events was similar in the two groups;the most common adverse events were diarrhea, upper respiratory tract infections, and grade 3 to 4 increases in triglyceride concentration.Renal function was significantly more impaired at 12 weeks in the patients of the NRTI group who received tenofovir disoproxil fumarate than in those of the ABT group. Conclusions:The TALENT study is the first phase 3 trial of an injectable long-acting HIV drug. This interim analysis indicates that once-weekly albuvirtide in combination with ritonavir-boosted lopinavir is well tolerated and non-inferior to the WHO-recommended second-line regimen in patients with first-line treatment failure.Trial registration:ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier:NCT02369965;http://gffzz90ed6ce9d87f4798sfxvooboko6pv6ubw.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn Clinical Trial Registry No.ChiCTR-TRC-14004276;http://gffzz62a03ee25e6f4a77hfxvooboko6pv6ubw.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/enindex.aspx. | Bin Su Cheng Yao Qing-Xia Zhao Wei-Ping Cai Min Wang Hong-Zhou Lu Yuan-Yuan Chen Li Liu Hui Wang Yun He Yu-Huang Zheng Ling-Hua Li Jin-Feng Chen Jian-Hua Yu Biao Zhu Min Zhao Yong-Tao Sun Wen-Hui Lun Wei Xia Li-Jun Sun Li-Li Dai Tai-Yi Jiang Mei-Xia Wang Qing-Shan Zheng Hai-Yan Peng Yao Wang Rong-Jian Lu Jian-Hua Hu Hui Xing Yi-Ming Shao Dong Xie Tong Zhang Fu-Jie Zhang Hao Wu TALENT Study Team | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,24: | 10
Effects of raster resolution on landslide susceptibility mapping:A case study of Shenzhen显示文摘Resolution has been playing a significant role in landslide susceptibility mapping and hazard assessment.Based on geographical information system(GIS) and information model, the effects of raster resolution on landslide susceptibility mapping are studied in a central area of Shenzhen,China.Eight factors are selected to calculate landslide susceptibility with eleven groups of different resolutions(5 to 190 m).It has been found that a finer resolution does not necessarily lead to a higher accuracy of landslide susceptibility mappings, while the result of 90 m-resolution has the best accuracy and the 150 m-resolution has the worst one.The accuracy curve is in a shape of 'W' along with resolution decreasing:1) The accuracy decreases from 5 to 70 m;2) and then the best accuracy appears at 90 m,which is almost the same as the mean size of landslides in study area;3) the accuracy decreases again from 110 to 150 m;4) and finally the accuracy increases from 150 to 190 m.The sensitivity analysis indicates that the effects of raster resolution are mainly caused by the resolution impact on landform parameter derivation, while factors like geology and human activity are very insensitive to resolutions.A further study shows that in flat, ridge, and slope foot terrains, the susceptibility mapping result is sensitive to resolution, but in the sloping surface area the sensitivity is much less sensitive to resolution. At last,by choosing study areas with different sizes,it has also been found that the optimal resolutions are variable due to size of study area. But the study area is larger than a threshold, which is 135 km2 in this study, and the optimal resolution is almost fixed. | TIAN Yuan,XIAO ChenChao,LIU Yu & WU Lun Institute of RS and GIS,Peking University,Beijing 100871,China | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,S2: | 8
Targeting neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease:from mechanisms to clinical applications显示文摘Alzheimer’s disease is characterized by sustained neuroinflammation leading to memory loss and cognitive decline. The past decade has witnessed tremendous efforts in Alzheimer’s disease research;however,no effective treatment is available to prevent disease progression. An increasing body of evidence suggests that neuroinflammation plays an important role in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis, alongside the classical pathological hallmarks such as misfolded and aggregated proteins(e.g.,amyloid-beta and tau).Firstly, this review summarized the clinical and pathological characteristics of Alzheimer’s disease.Secondly,we outlined key aspects of glial cell-associated inflammation in Alzheimer’s disease pathogenesis and provided the latest evidence on the roles of microglia and astrocytes in Alzheimer’s disease pathology. Then,we revealed the double-edged nature of inflammatory cytokines and inflammasomes in Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, the potential therapeutic roles of innate immunity and neuroinflammation for Alzheimer’s disease were also discussed through these mechanisms. In the final section, the remaining key problems according to the current research status were discussed. | Zi-Zhen Si Chen-Jun Zou Xi Mei Xiao-Fang Li Hu Luo Yao Shen Jun Hu Xing-Xing Li Lun Wu Yu Liu | 2023 | Neural Regeneration Research2023,18,4: | 7
Architecture and key technologies of grid geographic information system显示文摘The highly efficient and stable collaborative computation platform for geospatial information can be constructed on the basis of Grid computing technology,com-bined with Peer-to-Peer (P2P) computing technology and geospatial database technology. This paper proposed the architecture and key technologies of the Grid GIS (Geographic Information System) incorporated with P2P structure, and corre-spondingly a Grid GIS prototype named Nebula was designed and then imple-mented. Nebula is a suite of middleware for geospatial Grid computing, which could be deployed onto various service nodes in network. Based on Grid protocols and infrastructure,Nebula provides invocation interfaces to users in form of Grid services. By using P2P message based communication mechanism, complex geospatial computation tasks could be accomplished by Nebula in a collaborative way. This paper introduced Nebula's architecture and key modules, and according to experimental data,we discussed the Grid GIS's advantages, application scenar-ios and future directions. | FANG Yu,HUANG Zhou,CHEN Bin,WU Lun & YIN DaFei Institute of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System,Peking University,Beijing 100871,China | 2008 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,S1: | 6
A framework for mixed-use decomposition based on temporal activity signatures extracted from big geo-data显示文摘Mixed use has been extensively applied as an urban planning principle and hinders the study of single urban functions. To address this problem,it is worth decomposing the mixed use.Inspired by the concept of spectral unmixing in remote sensing applications, this paper proposes a framework for mixed-use decomposition based on big geo-data.Mixeduse decomposition in terms of human activities differs from traditional land use research, and it is more reasonable to infer the actual urban function of land. The framework consists of four steps, namely temporal activity signature extraction, urban function base curve extraction, mixeduse decomposition, and result validation.First, the temporal activity signatures(TASs)of each zone are extracted as the proxy of human activity patterns.Second, the diurnal TASs of routine activities are extracted as urban function base curves(i.e.endmembers).Third,a linear decomposition model is used to decompose the mixed use and obtain multiple results(urban function composition, dynamic activity proportions, and the mixing index). Finally, result validation strategies are concluded. This framework offers method extensibility and has few requirements for the input data.It is validated by means of a case study of Beijing, based on a social media check-in dataset. | Lun Wu Ximeng Cheng Chaogui Kang Di Zhu Zhou Huang Yu Liu | 2020 | International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,6: | 2
Measurement of the neutron total cross section of carbon at the Back-n white neutron beam of CSNS显示文摘To verify the performance of the neutron total cross-sectional spectrometer, the neutron total cross section of carbon is initially measured in the energy range of 1 eV to 20 MeV using the time-of-flight method. The measurement is performed at the Back-n white neutron source with a 76-m time-of-flight path using the China Spallation Neutron Source. A multilayer fast fission chamber with 235U and 238U is employed as the neutron detector. The diameter and thickness of the natural graphite sample are 70 mm and 40 mm, respectively. Signal waveforms are collected using a data acquisition system. Off-line data processing was used to obtain the neutron time-of-flight spectra and transmissions. The uncertainty of the counting statistics is generally approximately 3% for each bin in the energy range of 1–20 MeV. It is determined that the results for the neutron total cross section of carbon obtained using ^235U cells are in good agreement with the results obtained using 238U cells within limits of statistical uncertainty. Moreover, the measured total cross sections show good agreement with the broadening evaluated data. | Xing-Yan Liu Yi-Wei Yang Rong Liu Jie Wen Zhong-Wei Wen Zi-Jie Han Zhi-Zhou Ren Qi An Huai-Yong Bai Jie Bao Ping Cao Qi-Ping Chen Yong-Hao Chen Pin-Jing Cheng Zeng-Qi Cui Rui-Rui Fan Chang-Qing Feng Min-Hao Gu Feng-Qin Guo Chang-Cai Han Guo-Zhu He Yong-Cheng He Yue-Feng He Han-Xiong Huang Wei-Ling Huang Xi-Ru Huang Xiao-Lu Ji Xu-Yang Ji Hao-Yu Jiang Wei Jiang Han-Tao Jing Ling Kang Ming-Tao Kang Bo Li Lun Li Qiang Li Xiao Li Yang Li Yang Li Shu-Bin Liu Guang-Yuan Luan Ying-Lin Ma Chang-Jun Ning Bin-Bin Qi Jie Ren Xi-Chao Ruan Zhao-Hui Song Hong Sun Xiao-Yang Sun Zhi-Jia Sun Zhi-Xin Tan Hong-Qing Tang Jing-Yu Tang Peng-Cheng Wang Qi Wang Tao-Feng Wang Yan-Feng Wang Zhao-Hui Wang Zheng Wang Qing-Biao Wu Xiao-Guang Wu Xuan Wu Li-Kun Xie Han Yi Li Yu Tao Yu Yong-Ji Yu Guo-Hui Zhang Jing Zhang Lin-Hao Zhang Li-Ying Zhang Qing-Min Zhang Qi-Wei Zhang Xian-Peng Zhang Yu-Liang Zhang Zhi-Yong Zhang Ying-Tan Zhao Liang Zhou Zu-Ying Zhou Dan-Yang Zhu Ke-Jun Zhu Peng Zhu | 2019 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2019,30,9: | 2
The C_(6)D_(6)detector system on the Back-n beam line of CSNS显示文摘Introduction The neutron capture cross sections are very important in the field of nuclear device design and basic physics research.Hydrogen-free liquid scintillator such as C_(6)D_(6)detectors are widely used in the neutron capture cross-sectional measurements for the low neutron sensitivity and fast time response. The Back-n white neutron source at China Spallation Neutron Source is the first spallation white neutron source in China, and it is suitable for neutron capture cross-sectional measurement.Materials and methods A C_(6)D_(6)detector system was built in the Back-n experimental station. The pulse height weighting technique was used to determine the system’s detection efficiency. The response to gamma rays of the C_(6)D_(6)detector was measured, and the energy resolution function was determined.Monte Carlo simulation with Geant4 code was carried out to get the weighting function of this C_(6)D_(6)detector system.Additionally, the systematic uncertainty of the weighting function was also determined. Conclusion According to the experimental and simulation results, this C_(6)D_(6)detector system can be used to measure neutron capture cross section. | Jie Ren Xichao Ruan Jie Bao Guangyuan Luan Wei Jiang Qi An Huaiyong Bai Ping Cao Qiping Chen Yonghao Chen Pinjing Cheng Zengqi Cui Ruirui Fan Changqing Feng Minhao Gu Fengqin Guo Changcai Han Zijie Han Guozhu He Yongcheng He Yuefeng He Hanxiong Huang Weiling Huang Xiru Huang Xiaolu Ji Xuyang Ji Haoyu Jiang Hantao Jing Ling Kang Mingtao Kang Bo Li Lun Li Qiang Li Xiao Li Yang Li Yang Li Rong Liu Shubin Liu Xingyan Liu Yinglin Ma Changjun Ning Binbin Qi Zhaohui Song Hong Sun Xiaoyang Sun Zhijia Sun Zhixin Tan Hongqing Tang Jingyu Tang Pengcheng Wang Qi Wang Taofeng Wang Yanfeng Wang Zhaohui Wang Zheng Wang Jie Wen Zhongwei Wen Qingbiao Wu Xiaoguang Wu Xuan Wu Likun Xie Yiwei Yang Han Yi Li Yu Tao Yu Yongji Yu Guohui Zhang Jing Zhang Linhao Zhang Liying Zhang Qingmin Zhang Qiwei Zhang Xianpeng Zhang Yuliang Zhang Zhiyong Zhang Yingtan Zhao Liang Zhou Zuying Zhou Danyang Zhu Kejun Zhu Peng Zhu | 2019 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2019,3,3: | 1
The Solar Upper Transition Region Imager(SUTRI)Onboard the SATech-01 Satellite显示文摘The Solar Upper Transition Region Imager(SUTRI)onboard the Space Advanced Technology demonstration satellite(SATech-01),which was launched to a Sun-synchronous orbit at a height of~500 km in 2022 July, aims to test the on-orbit performance of our newly developed Sc/Si multi-layer reflecting mirror and the 2k×2k EUV CMOS imaging camera and to take full-disk solar images at the Ne VII 46.5 nm spectral line with a filter width of~3 nm.SUTRI employs a Ritchey-Chrétien optical system with an aperture of 18 cm.The on-orbit observations show that SUTRI images have a field of view of~416×416 and a moderate spatial resolution of~8″without an image stabilization system. The normal cadence of SUTRI images is 30 s and the solar observation time is about16 hr each day because the earth eclipse time accounts for about 1/3 of SATech-01's orbit period.Approximately15 GB data is acquired each day and made available online after processing.SUTRI images are valuable as the Ne VII 46.5 nm line is formed at a temperature regime of~0.5 MK in the solar atmosphere, which has rarely been sampled by existing solar imagers.SUTRI observations will establish connections between structures in the lower solar atmosphere and corona, and advance our understanding of various types of solar activity such as flares, filament eruptions, coronal jets and coronal mass ejections. | Xianyong Bai Hui Tian Yuanyong Deng Zhanshan Wang Jianfeng Yang Xiaofeng Zhang Yonghe Zhang Runze Qi Nange Wang Yang Gao Jun Yu Chunling He Zhengxiang Shen Lun Shen Song Guo Zhenyong Hou Kaifan Ji Xingzi Bi Wei Duan Xiao Yang Jiaben Lin Ziyao Hu Qian Song Zihao Yang Yajie Chen Weidong Qiao Wei Ge Fu Li Lei Jin Jiawei He Xiaobo Chen Xiaocheng Zhu Junwang He Qi Shi Liu Liu Jinsong Li Dongxiao Xu Rui Liu Taijie Li Zhenggong Feng Yamin Wang Chengcheng Fan Shuo Liu Sifan Guo Zheng Sun Yuchuan Wu Haiyu Li Qi Yang Yuyang Ye Weichen Gu Jiali Wu Zhe Zhang Yue Yu Zeyi Ye Pengfeng Sheng Yifan Wang Wenbin Li Qiushi Huang Zhong Zhang | 2023 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,6: | 1

Heating of multi-species upflowing ion beams observed by Cluster on March 28, 2001显示文摘Cluster satellites observed three successive outflowing ion beams on 28 March, 2001. It is generally accepted that these ion beams, composed of H^+, He^+, and O^+ ions, with three inverted-V structures in their energy spectra, are produced by acceleration through U-shaped potential structures. By eliminating the background ion population and employing Maxwelling fitting, we find that ions coming from the center of the potential structure have higher temperature than those from the flanks. Higher temperature of O^+ and He+compared to that of H^+ indicates that heavy ions are preferentially heated; we further infer that the heating efficiencies of O^+ and He^+ ions differ between the center and edges of the U-shaped potential structures. Estimation based on pitch angle observations shows that heating may also occur at an altitude above the upper boundary of the auroral acceleration region(AAR), where these beams are generally thought to be formed. | FangBo Yu SuiYan Fu WeiJie Sun XuZhi Zhou Lun Xie Han Liu Duo Zhao ShaoJie Zhao Li Li JingWen Zhang Tong Wu Ying Xiong | 2019 | Earth and Planetary Physics2019,3,3: | 0
Hierarchical Interconnected NiMoN with Large Specific Surface Area and High Mechanical Strength for Efficient and Stable Alkaline Water/Seawater Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘NiMo-based nanostructures are among the most active hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalysts under an alkaline environment due to their strong water dissociation ability. However, these nanostructures are vulnerable to the destructive effects of H_(2) production, especially at industry-standard current densities. Therefore, developing a strategy to improve their mechanical strength while maintaining or even further increasing the activity of these nanocatalysts is of great interest to both the research and industrial communities. Here,a hierarchical interconnected NiMoN(HW-NiMoN-2h)with a nanorod-nanowire morphology was synthesized based on a rational combination of hydrothermal and water bath processes.HW-NiMoN-2h is found to exhibit excellent HER activity due to the accomodation of abundant active sites on its hierarchical morphology,in which nanowires con-nect free-standing nanorods, concurrently strengthening its structural stability to withstand H_(2) production at 1 A cm^(−2).Seawater is an attractive feedstock for water electrolysis since H_(2) generation and water desalination can be addressed simultaneously in a single process. The HER performance of HW-NiMoN-2h in alkaline seawater suggests that the presence of Na+ions interferes with the reation kinetics, thus lowering its activity slightly. However, benefiting from its hierarchical and interconnected characteristics,HW-NiMoN-2h is found to deliver outstanding HER activity of 1 A cm^(−2) at 130 mV overpotential and to exhibit excellent stability at 1 A cm^(−2) over 70 h in 1 M KOH seawater. | Minghui Ning Yu Wang Libo Wu Lun Yang Zhaoyang Chen Shaowei Song Yan Yao Jiming Bao Shuo Chen Zhifeng Ren | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9: | 0
