1Enhancement of acellular cartilage matrix scaffold by Wharton’s jelly mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes to promote osteochondral regeneration显示文摘Articular cartilage defect repair is a problem that has long plagued clinicians.Although mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have the potential to regenerate articular cartilage,they also have many limitations.Recent studies have found that MSC-derived exosomes(MSC-Exos)play an important role in tissue regeneration.The purpose of this study was to verify whether MSC-Exos can enhance the reparative effect of the acellular cartilage extracellular matrix(ACECM)scaffold and to explore the underlying mechanism.The results of in vitro experiments show that human umbilical cord Wharton’s jelly MSC-Exos(hWJMSC-Exos)can promote the migration and proliferation of bone marrow-derived MSCs(BMSCs)and the proliferation of chondrocytes.We also found that hWJMSC-Exos can promote the polarization of macrophages toward the M2 phenotype.The results of a rabbit knee osteochondral defect repair model confirmed that hWJMSC-Exos can enhance the effect of the ACECM scaffold and promote osteochondral regeneration.We demonstrated that hWJMSC-Exos can regulate the microenvironment of the articular cavity using a rat knee joint osteochondral defect model.This effect was mainly manifested in promoting the polarization of macrophages toward the M2 phenotype and inhibiting the inflammatory response,which may be a promoting factor for osteochondral regeneration.In addition,microRNA(miRNA)sequencing confirmed that hWJMSC-Exos contain many miRNAs that can promote the regeneration of hyaline cartilage.We further clarified the role of hWJMSC-Exos in osteochondral regeneration through target gene prediction and pathway enrichment analysis.In summary,this study confirms that hWJMSC-Exos can enhance the effect of the ACECM scaffold and promote osteochondral regeneration.Shuangpeng Jiang Guangzhao Tian Zhen Yang Xiang Gao Fuxin Wang Juntan Li Zhuang Tian Bo Huang Fu Wei Xinyu Sang Liuqi Shao Jian Zhou Zhenyong Wang Shuyun Liu Xiang Sui Quanyi Guo Weimin Guo Xu Li 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,9:11

3Cross-layer design of LT codes and LDPC codes for satellite multimedia broadcast/multicast services显示文摘According to large coverage of satellites,there are various channel states in a satellite broadcasting network.In order to introduce an effcient rateless transmission method to satellite multimedia broadcasting/multicast services with fnite-length packets,a cross-layer packet transmission method is proposed with Luby transform(LT) codes for effciency in the network layer and low density parity check(LDPC) codes for reliability in the physical layer jointly.The codewords generated from an LT encoder are divided into fnite-length packets,which are encoded by an LDPC encoder subsequently.Based on noise and fading effects of satellite channels,the LT packets received from an LDPC decoder either have no error or are marked as erased,which can be modeled as a binary erasure channels(BECs).By theoretical analysis on LT parameters and LDPC parameters,the relationships between LDPC code rates in the physical layer and LT codes word lengths in the network layer are investigated.With tradeoffs between the LT codes word lengths and the LDPC code rates,optimized cross-layer solutions are achieved with a binary search algorithm.Verifed by simulations,the proposed solution for cross-layer parameters design can provide the best transmission mode according to satellite states,so as to improve throughput performance for satellite multimedia transmission.Wang Zhenbang Wang Zhenyong Gu Xuemai Guo Qing 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:3
4Novel distributed UEP rateless coding scheme for data transmission in deep space networks显示文摘In deep space data transmission systems, deep space networks can be constructed on different orbits, and the data from each orbit are always associated with the different reliability requirements. In this study, a novel UEP(unequal error protection) transmission scheme based on distributed LT codes is proposed in order to ensure that all the data can be transmitted according to their own reliability requirements and obtain high transmission efficiency property. In the proposed scheme, the sub-codes on each node(orbits) were performed by a classic LT encoding process. By assigning different degree distributions to the sub-codes, all types of data can be transmitted with better transmission efficiency in comparison to the traditional scheme,and can be recovered at the destination with their own reliability requirements. Moreover, the design of the proposed scheme is much easier than that of the traditional scheme, and is also suitable to the strictly limited processing capacity property of deep space networks. By carrying out asymptotic analysis on the proposed scheme, and by obtaining the numerical and simulation results, it can be seen that the proposed scheme can approximately achieve the same UEP property and much better transmission efficiency than the traditional scheme. 73D-printed cell-free PCL-MECM scaffold with biomimetic micro-structure and micro-environment to enhance in situ meniscus regeneration显示文摘Despite intensive effort was made to regenerate injured meniscus by cell-free strategies through recruiting endogenous stem/progenitor cells,meniscus regeneration remains a great challenge in clinic.In this study,we found decellularized meniscal extracellular matrix(MECM)preserved native meniscal collagen and glycosaminoglycans which could be a good endogenous regeneration guider for stem cells.Moreover,MECM significantly promoted meniscal fibrochondrocytes viability and proliferation,increased the expression of type II collagen and proteoglycans in vitro.Meanwhile,we designed 3D-printed polycaprolactone(PCL)scaffolds which mimic the circumferential and radial collagen orientation in native meniscus.Taken these two advantages together,a micro-structure and micro-environment dually biomimetic cell-free scaffold was manipulated.This cell-free PCL-MECM scaffold displayed superior biocompatibility and yielded favorable biomechanical capacities closely to native meniscus.Strikingly,neo-menisci were regenerated within PCL-MECM scaffolds which were transplanted into knee joints underwent medial meniscectomy in rabbits and sheep models.Histological staining confirmed neo-menisci showed meniscus-like heterogeneous staining.Mankin scores showed PCL-MECM scaffold could protect articular cartilage well,and knee X-ray examination revealed same results.Knee magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)scanning also showed some neo-menisci in PCL-MECM scaffold group.In conclusion,PCL-MECM scaffold appears to optimize meniscus regeneration.This could represent a promising approach worthy of further investigation in preclinical applications.Weimin Guo Mingxue Chen Zhenyong Wang Yue Tian Jinxuan Zheng Shuang Gao Yangyang Li Yufeng Zheng Xu Li Jingxiang Huang Wei Niu Shuangpeng Jiang Chunxiang Hao Zhiguo Yuan Yu Zhang Mingjie Wang Zehao Wang Jiang Peng Aiyuan Wang Yu Wang Xiang Sui Wenjing Xu Libo Hao Xifu Zheng Shuyun Liu Quanyi Guo 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:1

9The first local case of mpox caused by an imported case in the Chinese mainland显示文摘Monkeypox (mpox) is a zoonotic disease caused by the mpox virus (MPXV) that has been primarily limited to Central and West African nations since its discovery. The recent spread of the West African lineage of MPXV in historically unaffected countries has raised concerns for global public health. Despite a significant decrease in global mpox cases, there is still a risk of a global resurgence. This study reports the first local case of mpox caused by an imported case in the Chinese mainland. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) diagnosed the two cases, and the viral genomes were obtained by next-generation sequencing. 10Response analysis of shale bedding structure to ultrasonic characteristics and its application显示文摘Based on the wave theory, different bedding structure models for shales in Lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation of southeastern Chongqing area were established, numerical simulations of responses of different bedding structures of shale to ultrasonic wave were carried out by using the second order in time and fourth order in space grid finite difference method, based on the grey system theory, sensitive factors of acoustic parameters of bedding structure were selected, and the dynamic mechanical parameter model of bedded shale was established, which was verified by the ultrasonic transmission experiment results on core down Well ZY1 and YY1 and the logging data of Well ZY2. The results show that:(1) The correlation coefficient between analog and experimental waveforms is greater than 80%, indicating that the numerical simulation method can effectively simulate ultrasonic transmission experiment.(2) Acoustic velocity is a conventional sensitive factor used to characterize shale bedding structure, whereas the attenuation coefficient is sensitive to the change of bedding thickness, with correlation coefficient of 0.89, therefore, using the normalized results of attenuation coefficient to comprehensively describe the shale bedding can make the results more accurate.(3) The correlation between the dynamic and static parameters calculated by the model is better than that of the traditional model; and the predicted values of rock mechanics obtained by using the model and logging data inversion are in good agreement with the experimental values. 11Simultaneously improving piezoelectric properties and temperature stability of Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3)(KNN)-based ceramics sintered in reducing atmosphere显示文摘It is a very difficult work to sinter K_(0.5)Na_(0.5)NbO_(3)(KNN)-based materials with good reduction resistance in strong reducing atmosphere.0.945K_(0.48)Na_(0.52)Nb_(0.96)Ta_(0.04)O_(3)-0.055BaZrO_(3)+0.03ZrO_(2)+y mol%MnO(KNNT-0.055BZ+0.03Zr+yMn)ceramics sintered in reducing atmosphere were prepared successfully by conventional solid-state reaction methods.MnO dopant increases grain size at y=5-8 due to strong lattice distortion and then decreases grain size at y=9 due to much Mn4Nb2O9 accumulated at the grain boundary.MnO dopant as an excellent sintering aid can effectively reduce volatilization of alkali metal by decreasing the sintering temperature(T_(sinter)).Reducing alkali metal volatilization can greatly reduce oxygen vacancies and improve piezoelectric properties.MnO dopant can improve the anti-reduction properties.The KNNT-0.055BZ+0.03Zr+yMn ceramics aty=6-9 show outstanding anti-fatigue of unipolar piezoelectric strain under the synergistic effect of reduced oxygen vacancies due to reduced volatilization and increased grain size.Piezoelectric properties and temperature stability of KNNT-0.055BZ+0.03Zr ceramics sintered in reducing atmosphere are improved simultaneously by MnO dopant.Optimum inverse piezoelectric coefficient(d33)of ceramics at y=8 reaches up to 480 pm/V under low driving electric field E=20 kV/cm at room temperature,and its temperature stability of d33 reaches 158℃.It will be an excellent lead-free material candidate for the preparation of multilayer piezoelectric actuators co-fired with nickel electrode.Zhenyong CEN Shuaishuai BIAN Ze XU Ke WANG Limin GUO Longtu LI Xiaohui WANG 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,4:1

14A strategy based on water soluble coal tar pitches to construct MnO_(2)@C composite materials with high electrochemical performance显示文摘The water soluble coal tar pitches(WS-CTPs)were successfully prepared and used to construct the MnO_(2)@C composite materials by a hydrothermal method.It is interestingly observed that the structures and morphologies of MnO_(2)@C materials can be controlled by controlling the dosages of WS-CTPs and KMnO4.Meanwhile,it is aware that MnO_(2)exists in the MnO_(2)@C materials in an amorphous state.Compared with MnO_(2),MnO_(2)@C materials output a remarkable improvement in electrochemical performance.For instance,MnO_(2)@C-0.3 shows the storage capacity at 965.7 mA h g^(−1)after 300 cycles at a current density of 0.1 A g^(−1).In addition,after 600 cycles at a current density of 1.0 A g^(−1),the storage capacity of MnO_(2)@C-0.3 still keeps 450.3 mA h g^(−1),indicating that MnO_(2)@C-0.3 owns tremendous cycle stability at a high current density.In view of the fact that the coal tar pitches possess great cost advantages,the strategy of using WS-CTPs as a carbon source to cover the metal oxides is a competitive way to expand the application of metal oxides in the fabrication of electrodes of LIBs.LIU Bo WANG Kun GUO ZhaoQi HAN BeiBei XU GuiYing JU DongYing AN BaiGang LI YongCheng NI ZhenYong ZHOU WeiMin 2024Science China(Technological Sciences)2024,67,1:0

16Detection and localization of cyber attacks on water treatment systems:an entropy-based approach显示文摘With the advent of Industry 4.0,water treatment systems(WTSs)are recognized as typical industrial cyber-physical systems(iCPSs)that are connected to the open Internet.Advanced information technology(IT)benefits the WTS in the aspects of reliability,efficiency,and economy.However,the vulnerabilities exposed in the communication and control infrastructure on the cyber side make WTSs prone to cyber attacks.The traditional IT system oriented defense mechanisms cannot be directly applied in safety-critical WTSs because the availability and real-time requirements are of great importance.In this paper,we propose an entropy-based intrusion detection(EBID)method to thwart cyber attacks against widely used controllers(e.g.,programmable logic controllers)in WTSs to address this issue.Because of the varied WTS operating conditions,there is a high false-positive rate with a static threshold for detection.Therefore,we propose a dynamic threshold adjustment mechanism to improve the performance of EBID.To validate the performance of the proposed approaches,we built a high-fidelity WTS testbed with more than 50 measurement points.We conducted experiments under two attack scenarios with a total of 36attacks,showing that the proposed methods achieved a detection rate of 97.22%and a false alarm rate of 1.67%.Ke LIU Mufeng WANG Rongkuan MA Zhenyong ZHANG Qiang WEI 2022Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2022,23,4:0
17Realization of finite precision chaotic systems via internal perturbation显示文摘A method of controllable internal perturbation inside the chaotic map is proposed to solve the problem in chaotic systems caused by finite precision.A chaotic system can produce large amounts of initial-sensitive,non-cyclical pseudo-random sequences.However,the finite precision brings short period and odd points which obstruct application of chaos theory seriously in digital communication systems.Perturbation in chaotic systems is a possible efficient method for solving finite precision problems,but former researches are limited in uniform distribution maps.The proposed internal perturbation can work on both uniform and non-uniform distribution chaotic maps like Chebyshev map and Logistic map.By simulations,results show that the proposed internal perturbation extends sequence periods and eliminates the odd points,so as to improve chaotic performances of perturbed chaotic sequences.李德志 Wang Zhenyong Gu Xuemai Guo Qing 2013High Technology Letters2013,19,4:0
18Achieving the capacity of half-duplex degraded relay channels using polar coding显示文摘In this paper, a novel transmission protocol based on polar coding is proposed for the half-duplex degraded relay channel. In the proposed protocol, referred to as the partial message relaying, the relay only needs to forward a part of the decoded source message that the destination needs according to the exquisite nested structure of polar codes. Theoretically, it is proved that the scheme can achieve the capacity of the half-duplex relay channel under the decode-and-forward(DF) cooperation strategy while enjoying low encoding/decoding complexity. Practically, in order to minimize the global transmission power, the optimization of the power allocation is performed between the source and the relay by using information theoretic tools. 19A New Post-hoc Flat Field Measurement Method for the Solar X-Ray and Extreme Ultraviolet Imager Onboard the FengYun-3E Satellite显示文摘Extreme ultraviolet(EUV)observations are widely used in solar activity research and space weather forecasting since they can observe both the solar eruptions and the source regions of the solar wind.Flat field processing is indispensable to remove the instrumental non-uniformity of a solar EUV imager in producing high-quality scientific data from original observed data.FengYun-3E(FY-3E)is a meteorological satellite operated in a Sunsynchronous orbit,and the routine EUV imaging data from the Solar X-ray and Extreme Ultraviolet Imager(X-EUVI)onboard FY-3E has the characteristic of concentric rotation.Taking advantage of the concentric rotation,we propose a post-hoc flat field measurement method for its EUV 195A channel in this paper.This method removes the small-scale and time-varying component of coronal activities by taking the median value for each pixel along the time axis of a concentric rotation data cube,and then derives the large-scale and invariable component of the quiet coronal radiation,and finally generates a flat field image.The flat field can be generated with cadences from hundreds of minutes(one orbit)to several days.Higher flat field accuracy can be achieved by employing more data.Further analysis shows that our method is able to measure the instrumental spot-like nonuniformity possibly caused by contamination on the detector,which mostly disappears after the in-orbit selfcleaning process.It can also measure the quasi-periodic grid-like non-uniformity,possibly from the obscuration of the support mesh on the rear filter.After flat field correction,these instrumental non-uniformities from the original data are effectively removed.Moreover,the X-EUVI 195A data after dark and flat field corrections are consistent with the 193A imaging data from the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly onboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory,verifying the suitability of the method.The post-hoc method does not occupy observation time,which is advantageous for space weather operations.Our method is not only suitable for FY-3E/X-EUVI but also a candidate method for the flat field measurement of future solar EUV telescopes.Qiao Song Xianyong Bai Bo Chen Xiuqing Hu Yajie Chen Zhenyong Hou Xiaofan Zhang Lingping He Kefei Song Peng Zhang Jing-Song Wang Xiaoxin Zhang Weiguo Zong Jinping Dun Hui Tian Yuanyong Deng 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,10:0
20The Performance Analysis for Distributed Collaborative Beamforming Transmission of Clustered Mobile Sensor Network显示文摘Sensor nodes cannot directly communicate with the distant unmanned aerial vehicle( UAV) for their low transmission power. Distributed collaborative beamforming from sensor nodes within a cluster is proposed to provide high speed data transmission to the distant UAV. The bit error ratio( BER) closed-form expression of distributed collaborative beamforming transmission with mobile sensor nodes has been derived. Furthermore,based on the theoretical BER analysis and the numerical results,we have analyzed the impacts of nodes 'mobility,number of sensor nodes,transmission power and the elevation angle of UAV on the BER performance of collaborative beamforming.
