1Fluorination vs. chlorination: a case study on high performance organic photovoltaic materials显示文摘Halogenation is a very efficient chemical modification method to tune the molecular energy levels, absorption spectra and molecular packing of organic semiconductors. Recently, in the field of organic solar cells(OSCs), both fluorine-and chlorinesubstituted photovoltaic materials, including donors and acceptors, demonstrated their great potentials in achieving high power conversion efficiencies(PCEs), raising a question that how to make a decision between fluorination and chlorination when designing materials. Herein, we systemically studied the impact of fluorination and chlorination on the properties of resulting donors(PBDB-T-2 F and PBDB-T-2 Cl) and acceptors(IT-4 F and IT-4 Cl). The results suggest that all the OSCs based on different donor and acceptor combinations can deliver good PCEs around 13%–14%. Chlorination is more effective than fluorination in downshifting the molecular energy levels and broadening the absorption spectra. The influence of chlorination and fluorination on the crystallinity of the resulting materials is dependent on their introduction positions. 2Organic photovoltaic cell with 17% efficiency and superior processability显示文摘The development of organic photoactive materials,especially the newly emerging non-fullerene electron acceptors(NFAs),has enabled rapid progress in organic photovoltaic(OPV)cells in recent years.Although the power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of the top-performance OPV cells have surpassed 16%,the devices are usually fabricated via a spin-coating method and are not suitable for large-area production.Here,we demonstrate that the fine-modification of the flexible side chains of NFAs can yield 17%PCE for OPV cells.More crucially,as the optimal NFA has a suitable solubility and thus a desirable morphology,the high efficiencies of spin-coated devices can be maintained when using scalable blade-coating processing technology.Our results suggest that optimization of the chemical structures of the OPV materials can improve device performance.This has great significance in larger-area production technologies that provide important scientific insights for the commercialization of OPV cells.Yong Cui Huifeng Yao Ling Hong Tao Zhang Yabing Tang Baojun Lin Kaihu Xian Bowei Gao Cunbin An Pengqing Bi Wei Ma Jianhui Hou 2020National Science Review2020,7,7:7
3Zanthoxylum-specific whole genome duplication and recent activity of transposable elements in the highly repetitive paleotetraploid Z.bungeanum genome显示文摘Zanthoxylum bungeanum is an important spice and medicinal plant that is unique for its accumulation of abundant secondary metabolites,which create a characteristic aroma and tingling sensation in the mouth.Owing to the high proportion of repetitive sequences,high heterozygosity,and increased chromosome number of Z.bungeanum,the assembly of its chromosomal pseudomolecules is extremely challenging.Here,we present a genome sequence for Z.bungeanum,with a dramatically expanded size of 4.23 Gb,assembled into 68 chromosomes.This genome is approximately tenfold larger than that of its close relative Citrus sinensis.After the divergence of Zanthoxylum and Citrus,the lineage-specific whole-genome duplication event q-WGD approximately 26.8 million years ago(MYA)and the recent transposable element(TE)burst~6.41 MYA account for the substantial genome expansion in Z.bungeanum.The independent Zanthoxylum-specific WGD event was followed by numerous fusion/fission events that shaped the genomic architecture.Integrative genomic and transcriptomic analyses suggested that prominent speciesspecific gene family expansions and changes in gene expression have shaped the biosynthesis of sanshools,terpenoids,and anthocyanins,which contribute to the special flavor and appearance of Z.bungeanum.In summary,the reference genome provides a valuable model for studying the impact of WGDs with recent TE activity on gene gain and loss and genome reconstruction and provides resources to accelerate Zanthoxylum improvement.Shijing Feng Zhenshan Liu Jian Cheng Zihe Li Lu Tian Min Liu Tuxi Yang Yulin Liu Yonghong Liu He Dai Zujun Yang Qing Zhang Gang Wang Jisen Zhang Huifeng Jiang Anzhi Wei 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:5
4A DFT Study on the Adsorption Behavior of Sulfur and Nitrogen Compounds on the NiMoS Phase显示文摘The density functional theory(DFT)with dispersion corrections was used to study the adsorption behavior of sulfur and nitrogen compounds on NiMoS phase.The calculations were performed based on a hexagonal cluster model including the Mo-edge,the S-edge,and the rarely mentioned corner site.It was found that the adsorption of quinoline is stronger than that of benzothiophene at all the active sites.It indicated the origin of the inhibition effect of nitrogen compounds on HDS.And Ni atoms located around Mo-edge and corner site exhibit higher adsorption selectivity to sulfur compounds than the nitrogen ones.It means that the increase in Ni-promoting effect may weaken the inhibition effect of nitrogen compounds on HDS.Wang Wei Li Huifeng Han Wei Zhang Le Zhao Xiaoguang Li Mingfeng 2020China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,1:5
5Effect of fire intensity on active organic and total soil carbon in a Larix gmelinii forest in the Daxing'anling Mountains,Northeastern China显示文摘Studying contents and seasonal dynamics of active organic carbon in the soil is an important method for revealing the turnover and regulation mechanism of soil carbon pool. Through 3 years of field sampling and lab analysis, we studied the seasonal variations, content differences, and interrelationships of total organic carbon(TOC), light fraction organic carbon(LFOC), and particulate organic carbon(POC) of the soil in the forest areas burned with different fire intensities in the Daxing'anling Mountains. The mean TOC content in the low-intensity burned area was greater than that in the unburned area,moderate-intensity, and high-intensity burned areas in June and November(P<0.05). LFOC and POC in the lowintensity burned area were greater than that in either moderate-intensity or high-intensity burned areas, with significant differences in LFOC in September and November(P <0.05). A significant difference in LFOC between the unburned and burned areas was only found in July(P < 0.05). However, the differences in POC between the unburned and burned areas were not significant in all the whole seasons(P >0.05). Soil LFOC and POC varied significantly with the seasons(P< 0.05) in the Daxing'anling Mountains. 8DFT Study of H_2 Dissociation on Mo_xS_y Clusters显示文摘A DFT study of H2 dissociation on a series of Mo x S y clusters was performed, including homolytic and heterolytic dissociation. The preference for the two pathways on these models show much difference, as the Mo coordination number increases, the homolytic dissociation becomes easier, whereas the heterolytic dissociation becomes more difficult. Furthermore, frontier orbital theory was used to analyze the dissociation mechanisms of these two pathways. 10Surface modification of mesoporous silica nanoparticle with 4-triethoxysilylaniline to enhance seawater desalination properties of thin-film nanocomposite reverse osmosis membranes显示文摘Mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSN),with higher water permeability than NaA zeolite,were used to fabricate thin-film nanocomposite(TFN)reverse osmosis(RO)membranes.However,only aminoalkyl-modified MSN and low-pressure(less than 2.1 MPa)RO membrane were investigated.In this study,aminophenyl-modified MSN(AMSN)were synthesized and used to fabricate high-pressure(5.52 MPa)RO membranes.With the increasing of AMSN dosage,the crosslinking degree of the aromatic polyamide decreased,while the hydrophilicity of the membranes increased.The membrane morphology was maintained to show a ridge-and-valley structure,with only a slight increase in membrane surface roughness.At the optimum conditions(AMSN dosage of 0.25 g/L),when compared with the pure polyamide RO membrane,the water flux of the TFN RO membrane(55.67 L/m^2/h)was increased by about 21.6%,while NaCl rejection(98.97%)was slightly decreased by only 0.29%.However,the water flux of the membranes was much lower than expected.We considered that the enhancement of RO membrane permeability is attributed to the reduction of the effective thickness of the PA layer.Jian Wang Qun Wang Xueli Gao Xinxia Tian Yangyang Wei Zhen Cao Chungang Guo Huifeng Zhang Zhun Ma Yushan Zhang 2020Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2020,14,1:1

14Enhanced intermolecular interactions to improve twisted polymer photovoltaic performance显示文摘In polymer solar cells(PSCs), twisted polymer donors usually have low photovoltaic efficiencies due to their poor photoactive layer morphologies. Herein, we successfully improved twisted polymer(PBDT-3T) photovoltaic efficiency by employing C=O groups(PBDT-3TCO) to enhance intermolecular interactions. The maximum power conversion efficiency(PCE) of PBDT-3T is only 1.05%, while the PCE of PBDT-3TCO reaches 11.77% in non-fullerene(NF) PSCs. Both polymers-based PSCs show very similar open-circuit voltages but remarkable differences in their short-circuit currents and fill factors. The single crystals of both functionalized terthiophenes with methyl substituents demonstrate that the terthiophene with C=O units changes molecular pattern by forming intra/inter molecular S???O and O???H interactions but its molecular planarity does not significantly improve.Our comparative studies show that PBDT-3TCO with C=O units possesses a strong aggregation property and optimal photoactive layer morphology in NF PSCs. 16Combined Promoting Effects of Specific Organic Functional Groups and Alumina Surface Characteristics for the Design of a Highly Efficient NiMo/Al_(2)O_(3) Hydrodesulfurization Catalyst显示文摘To prepare a highly efficient NiMo/Al_(2)O_(3) hydrodesulfurization catalyst,the combined effects of specific organic functional groups and alumina surface characteristics were investigated.First,the correlation between the surface characteristics of four different alumina and the existing Mo species states was established.It was found that the Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity can be used as a specific descriptor to quantitatively evaluate the changes in surface characteristics of different alumina.A lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity for alumina means weaker metal-support interaction and the loaded Mo species are easier to transform into MoS2.However,the Mo-O-Al bonds still exist at the metal-support interface.The introduction of cationic surfactant hecadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB)can further improve Mo species dispersion through electrostatic attraction with Mo anions and interaction of its alkyl chain with the alumina surface;meanwhile,the introduction of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA)can complex with Ni ions to enhance the Ni-promoting effect on Mo.Therefore,the NiMo catalyst designed using alumina with lower Mo equilibrium adsorption capacity and the simultaneous addition of EDTA and CTAB exhibits the highest hydrodesulfurization activity for 4,6-dimethyl dibenzothiophene because of its proper metal-support interaction and more well-dispersed Ni-Mo-S active phases.Li Huifeng Li Mingfeng Zhang Le Wang Wei Nie Hong 2024China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2024,26,1:0
17Linkage analysis on chromosome 2 in essential hypotension pedigrees显示文摘It is a new approach to study the important genes related to the control of blood pressure by probing into hypotension and hypertension at the same time. Genome scanning on whole chromosome 2 in 8 hypotension pedigrees has been done and parameter (LOD score) and non-parameter (NPL score) were used in the linkage analysis by GENEHUNTER software. The results show the evidence of linkage between D2S112 and D2S117, indicating a number of critical genes may lie in this region and contribute to the mechanism of blood pressure regulation. Also this region has been found in the previous study in hypertension pedigrees. 18Transpiration Rates of Carex Meyeriana in Relation to Micrometerological Factors in a Mountain Valley Wetland显示文摘In order to reveal transpiration rates of wetland plants and its relationships to micro-meterological factors in a mountain valley wetland, relative humidity, air temperature, leaf temperature, soil temperature, photo flux density and transpiration rates were measured once two hours in a Carex meyeriana wetland of the Changbai Mountain valley in dry (July) and wet (September) of 2003, respectively. Results showed that the tendency of 'decreasing after increasing' was obvious in wet season. However, a relatively stable trend was observed for the transpiration in dry season.. Generally, the photon flux density of Carex meyeriana was higher in wet season than that in dry season. However, the variabilities of leaf temperature, air temperature and relative humidity were similar in both seasons. Higher transpiration rates of Carex meyeriana leaves were observed in July (varied from 40 to 150 mol·m-2·s-1) compared to those (varied from 7 to 14 mol·m-2·s-1) in September. 19Association between the Lung Immune Prognostic Index and mortality in patients with idiopathic inflammatory myopathy-associated interstitial lung disease显示文摘Objective:To explore the association between the Lung Immune Prognostic Index(LIPI)and 1-year all-cause mortality in patients with idiopathic inflammatory myopathy related interstitial lung disease(IIM-ILD).Methods:Patients who were diagnosed with IIM-ILD at West China Hospital,Sichuan University from January 2008 to December 2021 were retrospectively included and categorized into three groups based on LIPI.Univariable and multivariable Cox proportional hazards models were conducted to explore potential association between the LIPI and patients'mortality.Results:A total of 1116 patients were screened,and 830 were included in this study.The multivariable Cox analysis showed that,compared with patients with poor LIPI,the hazard ratio(HR)for all-cause 1-year mortality was 0.22(95%CI 0.05-0.93,P=0.04)for patients in the good LIPI group(LDH<250 IU/L and dNLR<3).After excluding patients lost to follow-up within one year,a similar result was found for LIPI(HR 0.20,95%CI 0.05-0.86;P=0.03).Conclusions:Good LIPI was independently associated with decreased risk of all-cause 1-year mortality in patients with IIM-ILD.This easy-to-obtain index might be served as a potential marker for assessing the prognosis of IIM-ILD.Dan Luo Zhihao Zhao Caizheng Li Wenjun Zhu Wei Zhou Lirong He Huifeng Yan Qiaoli Su 2023Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2023,16,11:0
20Effect of yttrium and manganese addition on catalytic soot combustion activity and anti-high-temperature stability of CeO_(2) catalyst显示文摘In order to analyze the influence of the addition of yttrium and manganese on the soot combustion performance and high temperature stability of CeO_(2) catalyst,a series of Y/Mn-modified CeO_(2) catalysts were prepared.The effects of structural properties,textural properties,oxygen vacancies,Ce^(3+),surface adsorbed oxygen species,reduction properties and desorption properties of oxygen species on the activity were analyzed by various characterization methods.The results of the activity test show that the addition of manganese is beneficial to enhancement of the activity,while the addition of yttrium increases the amount of reactive oxygen species,but decreases the activity.After aging at 700℃,the activity of the CeMn catalyst decreases most sharply,while the catalytic activity of the CeY catalyst can be maintained to a certain extent.Interestingly,the addition of yttrium and manganese at the same time can stabilize the activity.The fundamental reason is that yttrium and manganese move to the surface of the solid solution after aging,which increases the reduction performance of the catalyst,thus contributing to the increase of activity.Although the activity of CeYMn catalyst decreases after aging at 800℃,it is still higher than that of other catalysts aged at 700℃.Yi Zhu Xingyu Liu Wei Shi Jia Li Changbing Ye Ruimei Fang Huifeng Zhu Shanhu Chen Li Lan 2024Journal of Rare Earths2024,42,2:0
