| 1 | Targeted Mutagenesis of NAC Transcription Factor Gene,OsN AC041,Leading to Salt Sensitivity in Rice显示文摘Salinity is a major abiotic stress factor that seriously affects plant growth. Many genes are involved in the response to salt stress with various metabolism pathways. A number of plant transcription factor family genes have been found to be involved in the salt stress response, and NAM, ATAF and CUC(NAC) transcription factors are thought to act as active regulators during abiotic stress, especially salt stress. In this study, we detected a rice NAC transcription factor coding gene, OsNAC041, and confirmed that it influenced the germination of seeds under salt stress and salt tolerance of plants. OsNAC041 was primarily expressed in the leaves and located in the nucleus. Furthermore, the CRISPR/Cas9 method was used to obtain a targeted osnac041 mutant, of which the plant height was higher than that of the wild-type, showing increased salt sensitivity. Moreover, RNA-seq analysis revealed a number of differentially expressed genes(DEGs) involved in several important signaling pathways in the osnac041 mutant. Subsequently, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes annotation also revealed differential expression of DEGs associated with mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling, peroxisome, eukaryotictype ABC transporters, photosynthesis and plant hormones, which are involved in stress-related signaling pathways. Overall, our study suggested that OsNAC041 was involved in the salt stress response in rice. | 6 | Defect-engineered Mn_(3)O_(4)/CNTs composites enhancing reaction kinetics for zinc-ions storage performance显示文摘The designing of reasonable nanocomposite materials and proper introduction of defect engineering are of great significance for the improvement of the poor electronic conductivity and slow reaction kinetics of manganese-based compounds. Herein, we report manganese-deficient Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles which grow in-situ on highly conductive carbon nanotubes(CNTs)(denoted as DMOC) as an advanced cathode material for aqueous rechargeable zinc-ion batteries(RAZIBs). According to experimental and calculation results, the DMOC cathode integrates the advantages of enriched Mn defects and small particle size. These features not only enhance electronic conductivity but also create more active site and contribute to fast reaction kinetics. Moreover, the structure of DMOC is maintained during the charging and discharging process, thus benefiting for excellent cycle stability. As a result, the DMOC electrode delivers a high specific capacity of 420.6 m A h g^(-1) at 0.1 A g^(-1) and an excellent cycle life of 2800 cycles at 2.0 A g^(-1) with a high-capacity retention of 84.1%. In addition, the soft-packaged battery assembled with DMOC cathode exhibits long cycle life and high energy density of 146.3 Wh kg^(-1) at 1.0 A g^(-1) . | 7 | Surface coal mining impacts on land use change and ecological service value:a case study in Shengli coalfield,Inner Mongolia显示文摘Coal plays a crucial role in global economic development and remains the most common and widely distributed fossil fuel worldwide.As the world's largest developing country,China's mining and utilization of coal resources have contributed signifcantly to the country’s rapid economic growth.Inner Mongolia is an ecologically fragile arid and semi-arid area of China.The exploitation of opencast mining has seriously hindered the sustainable use of regional land and the residents'well-being.Using ENVI-based remote sensing images from 2000,2005,2010,2015,and 2020,this study employed a random forest algorithm to divide land utilization types into construction land,vegetation,cultivated land,bare land,and water areas and analyzed the characteristics of land use and ecosystem service value changes over the past 20 years.The results were as follows:(1)Construction land in the mining area changed minimally from 2000 to 2020;vegetation and water bodies showed a decreasing trend,whereas bare and cultivated lands showed an increasing trend.Bare land exhibited the largest change in area proportion and water bodies the smallest.(2)The total ecosystem service value of the mining area declined from 10.939 to 9.527 billion Yuan.Vegetation ecosystem service value was the highest,followed by cultivated land and water,with the bare land ecosystem service value the lowest.(3)On a spatial scale,the total ecosystem service value of the Shengli mining area decreased year by year,indicating that land use changes in the mining area do have an impact on ecosystem service value. | Lijia Zhang Xu Zhou Yan Zhou Ji Zhou Jiwang Guo Zihan Zhai Yan Chen Xiangyan Su Lingxiao Ying Liwei Wang Ying Qiao | 2022 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,5: | 1 |

| 15 | Forecasting Model Based on Information-Granulated GA-SVR and ARIMA for Producer Price Index显示文摘The accuracy of predicting the Producer Price Index(PPI)plays an indispensable role in government economic work.However,it is difficult to forecast the PPI.In our research,we first propose an unprecedented hybrid model based on fuzzy information granulation that integrates the GA-SVR and ARIMA(Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Model)models.The fuzzy-information-granulation-based GA-SVR-ARIMA hybrid model is intended to deal with the problem of imprecision in PPI estimation.The proposed model adopts the fuzzy information-granulation algorithm to pre-classification-process monthly training samples of the PPI,and produced three different sequences of fuzzy information granules,whose Support Vector Regression(SVR)machine forecast models were separately established for their Genetic Algorithm(GA)optimization parameters.Finally,the residual errors of the GA-SVR model were rectified through ARIMA modeling,and the PPI estimate was reached.Research shows that the PPI value predicted by this hybrid model is more accurate than that predicted by other models,including ARIMA,GRNN,and GA-SVR,following several comparative experiments.Research also indicates the precision and validation of the PPI prediction of the hybrid model and demonstrates that the model has consistent ability to leverage the forecasting advantage of GA-SVR in non-linear space and of ARIMA in linear space. | Xiangyan Tang Liang Wang Jieren Cheng Jing Chen Victor S.Sheng | 2019 | Computers, Materials & Continua2019,,2: | 1 |
| 16 | High-throughput sequencing to evaluate the effects of methamphetamine on the succession of the bacterial community to estimate the postmortem interval显示文摘In forensic medical examinations,estimating the postmortem interval(PMI)is an important factor.Methamphetamine(MA)is a synthetic stimulant that is commonly abused,and estimation of the PMI after MA abuse has become one of the main tasks in forensic investigation.Microorganisms play a vital role in carrion decomposition.Analysing the bacterial succession patterns can be used as a forensic tool to estimate the PMI.The present study aimed to analyse bacterial succession changes during the decomposition of MA to estimate the PMI.We analysed bacterial communities in rabbits treated with three different concentrations of MA(0,22.5,and 90 mg/kg)under the natural conditions of 20°C and 70%humidity by sequencing 16S rRNA gene amplicons using the Illumina MiSeq system.We obtained 2374209 high-quality sequences and 2937 operational taxonomic units(OTUs).The relative abundances of the bacterial communities varied markedly in response to different MA concentrations.Interestingly,in response to the different concentrations of MA,Bacteroidetes became disparate in the rectum in the late PMI.Increased numbers of bacterial taxa were identified in the rectum and buccal cavity samples,except at the highest concentration of MA in the rectum samples when PMI was 0-h,than were present in live rabbits.Meanwhile,the PMI correlated significantly with bacterial succession at different taxonomic levels.Our results suggested that bacterial community succession could be used as a“microbial clock”to estimate the PMI in cases of MA-related death;however,further study is required to gain a deeper understanding of this concept. | Shujuan Wang Wei Chen Yanjie Shang Lipin Ren Xiangyan Zhang Yadong Guo Changquan Zhang | 2022 | Forensic Sciences Research2022,7,4: | 0 |

| 19 | Bicyclic stapled peptides based on p53 as dual inhibitors for the interactions of p53 with MDM2 and MDMX显示文摘In recent years, the strategy of inhibiting the interactions of p53 with murine double minute 2(MDM2)and murine double minute X(MDMX) has been proved to be a promising approach for tumor therapy.However, the poor proteolytical stability and low intracellular delivery efficiency of peptide inhibitors limit their clinical application. Here, we designed and synthesized the bicyclic stapled peptides based on p53 by combining all-hydrocarbon stapling and lactam stapling strategies. We demonstrated that bicyclic stapled peptide p53-16 significantly improved α-helicity and proteolytic stability. Especially, p53-16showed nanomolar binding affinity for MDM2 and MDMX. In addition, p53-16 could penetrate the cell membrane, and selectively inhibited the activity of tumor cells via activating p53 pathway in vitro. Our data suggest that p53-16 is a potential dual inhibitor of MDM2 and MDMX interactions.
